Astrid grumbles under her breathe as she stomps to the garden. 'Why did father have to do this. I do not want to hang out with anyone.' Astrid thinks. She walks over to her tall weeping willow tree and starts making her way up the tree. Finally reaching her branch she sits down with a sigh and looks out over the garden to find many gardeners and maids roaming around. Her father, King Arthur, being the kind of father that wants only what's best for his daughter. Has set up a little 'Play date' with a local noble family. She has no clue who the girl is going to be, but she has no interest in hanging out with anyone.

"Master? What's the frown for?" she hears a soft confused purr above her and looks up to find her familiar. Rose. She was a sweet cat when she wanted to be. But when she got angry, she turned into a angry demon cat.

"Nothing is the mater Rose, where have you been?" Rose hops down onto Astrid's lap and lays down.

"I went to the kitchen to get some food." Giggling Astrid stokes her fur.

"More like cause trouble."

"I heard around, that a noble family's child is coming. I also heard that the girl is quiet interesting."

"Yes. That girl is coming for me. My father has set it up." Rose looks up at her with squinted eyes that had gold swirling around in them.

"Is that why you were up here frowning?" Atrid nodded and continued petting Rose.

"Yeah," She mumbled. "Well, do you know when they are arriving?"

"Yes, they are almost here. Are you dressed?" Astrid sits up strait, which makes Rose hiss and hop up, with wings popping out of her back and horns forming on her head.

"What now?!" Rose hissed out as she floated in the air. Astrid didn't reply as she started to make her way down the tree.

"I have to change." Astrid yells as she starts taking off in a sprint. Thankful for having demon blood in her that made her part cat, she was able to make it into the palace and up the stairs to her room in a matter of seconds.

"Wait!" She heard Rose yell behind her. Astrid didn't bother stopping as she ran into her room, leaving the door open for Rose to come trotting in.

Rose sat on the floor of the entrance to the closet as she watched wit interest as Astrid searched frantically for a proper dress.

"If this is with a girl that w=you will be doing things you enjoy, Why do you bother changing?" Rose mussed.

"I have to change to greet them. Plus I don't want to do anything I enjoy doing with her, so I plan on going to the library. Or perhaps the kitchen. The cooks might have something for us to do." Astrid says in a breathless voice as she walks out of the closet making Rose stumble back to watch out for her feet. Astrid walks over to her bed and sets down three dresses. One of them was gold, with white lace. And the second was white with a rose trim. The last one was red, with gold lace and white trims. Rose hopped on the bed and looked down at the dresses.

"I think they are all fine." Rose lays down and rest her head on her paw. Astrid nods and continues staring at the three dresses.

"I think this one will do." She finally says, grabbing the red one with gold lace and white trims.

"Good choice." Astrid again ignores Rose and runs into the bathroom to take a quick bath and clean herself up. A couple minutes later she walks out with her hair tied into a braid that laid over her right shoulder, and her dress on. She had light makeup on but she still looked the same, well almost.

"Wow, you finally look like a princess!" Rose yells. Astrid looks at her with a glare. Making her eyes sparkle.

"Shut your mouth cat, or I will roast you for dinner." Rose laughs and hops off the bed.

"We should go down." Astrid takes a deep breathe and walks out of the room.
