The Villain is an Omega

Episode 1

⚠️⚠️ATTENTION ⚠️⚠️

This is a Yaoi/BL work in the omegaverse category (meaning a boy can become pregnant). If you want to know what the omegaverse is, I’ll leave a brief explanation at the end of the chapter.

If this type of story isn't for you, please refrain from leaving offensive comments. If you are a fan of this genre, welcome, and thank you for reading this story. As you know, I specialize in reincarnation stories, and this one is no exception. Without further ado, let's begin ❤️

♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

In a beautiful and spacious room of the palace, light streamed through the enormous balcony window. Outside, the bustling sounds of people starting their day could be heard, but inside that room, a boy with black hair and violet eyes was beginning to feel miserable, for he was naked, and beside him, in the same condition, lay a brown-haired boy who was sleeping peacefully. He brought his hands to his head, tousling his own hair.

"What have you done, Livius Stefan?"

The boy sleeping next to him was Maximiliam Zahari, the heir prince of the Sun kingdom and the protagonist of a heterosexual novel. However, he had just spent the night with Maximiliam, and that shouldn't have happened; the prince belonged to the female protagonist, while he was supposed to be the villain. Now, how was he going to explain that situation?

The prince stirred slightly, prompting Livius to get off the bed. But upon feeling a sharp pain in his back, he fell to his knees, quickly getting dressed as best he could before crawling out of the room. No one must know what transpired—absolutely no one. He couldn't even remember exactly how they ended up this way; he only recalled that until a few years ago, he had been an ordinary boy in the modern world who enjoyed reading romantic stories in his free time, but overnight, he had been reborn into the world of the last novel he had read, and he was the villain of the story.

"The Maiden and the Prince" was the typical romantic novel where the prince falls in love with the lovely and kind protagonist, Marry Evans, a girl assigned as his assistant by the empress. When the prince's fiancee finds out, she begins to harass Marry and ends up facing punishment. But there was also the typical bad boy who falls for the sweet maiden, and when she chooses the prince, he, filled with jealousy and hatred towards the prince, rebels against the empire and kidnaps the protagonist. However, she manages to escape, and together with the prince, they defeat him. Nothing extraordinary, it could be said, except for one thing: the novel was classified as omegaverse but was heterosexual, as the protagonist was a beta and the prince was an alpha—a romance frowned upon due to the fact that betas, whether male or female, rarely manage to conceive a child with an alpha. On the other hand, Livius Stefan, the villain, was an omega, the most scorned gender in society, deemed weak and incapable of excelling, as their only use was to give birth to the children of an alpha. Although among the nobility and royalty, it was common for an alpha to marry another alpha, omegas born into noble houses were sometimes abandoned or handed over to servants to be raised as just another servant. Livius, for his part, manifested as an omega at the age of 11, but he was raised as a son of the Stefans, albeit with less privilege than a noble child. The servants often ignored him, his father never expected anything from him, transitioning from being a good father to one who was indifferent. The same happened with his mother and sister; he was allowed to study as he could be married off in the future to any family wanting an omega in their harem. Due to it all, Livius grew up in solitude, lacking the proper attention of his parents, especially after his other son was born and manifested as an alpha at the tender age of 6, drawing all their attention onto him.

It was when he was 17 years old that he met Marry, the young beta protagonist. She did not despise him for being omega; instead, she became his friend and encouraged him to excel regardless of his gender. Liviu began to demonstrate his talent for magic, and even though his family did not take him seriously, he was happy to achieve good grades. All it took was for Marry to show her happiness for his accomplishments, to the point that he ended up falling in love with her. However, Marry already loved the crown prince, and their love was mutual, even though the prince was oblivious to the fact that Marry was being harassed by Ofelia Stefan, his fiance and Liviu's older sister, an alpha woman. Liviu did everything he could to protect Marry from Ofelia, but it wasn’t until the prince realized everything that he punished Ofelia and broke off his engagement with her. Marry was happy; she could finally be with her beloved, while she seemed indifferent to everything that Liviu had done for her. This infuriated Liviu, as the protagonist preferred the man who had never bothered to end his engagement first and who was unaware of how difficult life was for Marry at the academy.

In the Stefan mansion, everyone blamed Liviu for protecting Marry, and Ofelia said that’s why she was discovered, that’s why they now lived in humiliation due to the broken engagement. Liviu was beaten by Ofelia, and it was then that he used his magical power to kill his sister, even murdering his father and younger brother, taking possession of the Duchy and starting a rebellion against the imperial family, as he would not allow Marry to marry the prince, no matter if it meant he had to kill her; but he would not let her fall into anyone else’s arms. The battle occurred, and the protagonists emerged victorious.

Dylan had reincarnated within the novel; everything happened when he turned 10. Memories of his past life flooded his mind, overwhelming him with pain, as fragments of this life and the previous one became mixed and confusing, until he eventually fainted. The Duchess, who was present in his room, immediately called for a doctor, as her son appeared to be extremely ill; the boy had a fever and did not wake up. After two days, he awoke but remained disoriented, locking himself in his room and preventing anyone from entering for an entire week. His confusing memories gradually settled, and it was then that Dylan understood everything; he was now Livius Stefan, the villain of the last novel he had read in his previous life. He was worried about how his life would end at just 18 years old. No, he could not die like this, and the only way to avoid it was by not falling in love with the protagonist. After all, when he read the novel, he hadn’t liked the protagonist much; what mattered now was dealing with the Stefan family and their disdain for him because he was an omega.

The Duchess finally managed to enter his room, rushing to her little boy and embracing him while crying.

"My baby, I was so worried. I’m glad to see you well; look, I brought you something to eat."

The maids entered with a cart full of food and desserts, which they placed on the table. For Livius, this was strange; his family was supposed to ignore him, but then he remembered—he was still 10 years old, he hadn’t manifested as an omega yet, so it must be why. Even the Duke had come in to check on him, ruffling his hair with a kind smile, a smile that would never again be shown to him over time.

"You had us all worried; you couldn’t enjoy your party."

"Liv!!!!"

A girl about twelve years old rushed into the room and hugged little Livius.

"Brother, you scared me so much; they wouldn’t let me see you. Are you alright?"

Livius remained silent, pursing his lips slightly. What a hypocritical family; they appeared concerned, but once they knew he was omega, they would turn their backs on him.

"basic explanation of the omegaverse-"

the updates may be slow as I still need to focus on Maxine's novel.

The Alphas

They are the ones at the top of the three genres. The alpha, whether male or female, has the ability to conceive with a male or female omega, due to possessing male sexual organs, internal (in the case of alpha females) or external in alpha males, that is, the normal for them. Another characteristic of alphas is that they tend to have a sort of knot or a bulge at the base of their members, which swells inside the omega once the alpha reaches climax. This causes the alpha and omega to be tied together for a time, as it is impossible to withdraw the member in that state until the swelling goes down. This gives them a biological advantage when it comes to conceiving the omega.

The Omegas

Both males and females possess female reproductive organs (uterus and ovaries), and they are perfectly capable of conceiving as long as they are fertilized by an alpha and rarely a beta. This is where, of course, MPREG (male pregnancy) comes into play, as they are highly fertile. Omegas, like alphas, experience a period known as heat, in which they feel the need to engage in sexual relations with an alpha for reproduction.

The Betas

They are the common people, where only women can become pregnant, and men are normal and do not experience the rut or heat cycle.

Episode 2

Now that he had finally recovered, his father took him to the palace with him. The Duke mentioned that the prince had been asking about him during those days and that the best way to calm him down was to show up now that he was feeling better. Upon getting out of the carriage, the Duke walked towards the palace. Livius followed closely behind, observing in amazement the building they were in. It was enormous and elegant, undoubtedly a true palace. Upon reaching the grand hall, a small brown-haired boy with bright emerald eyes smiled upon seeing him and ran towards him, taking his hand.

"Livi...are you better? The Duke said you were sick."

"I-I'm fine."

Livius didn't quite know how to act. His mind was not that of a child, plus he didn't know how he should treat the prince, much less did he remember that he and Maximiliam were friends.

"Let's go play. Duke, can I take Livi?"

"Of course, be careful."

The young prince, Maximiliam Zahari, took Livius to another room. It was smaller and more private, but there were sofas and a coffee table, as well as various toys. It's true that the prince received a strict education, but the emperor also allowed him to be a child and have fun. Being there, Livius didn't know what to do, he just sat on the sofa observing the place and the little brown-haired boy playing.

"Livi! Come on, I can't play alone."

"I can't...my clothes will get dirty."

He didn't know what he could come up with. Livius was a very cheerful child like Maximiliam, but even though no one knew he was an adult in a child's body, he still felt ashamed at the thought of playing.

"Ehh? But your mom won't mind."

"W-we have an event to go to today."

"That's great, I'm going too. I'll tell my dad."

"No! You can't, it's family..."

"Mmm...Livi, are you really okay? The Duke said you had a fever...could it be you're still sick?"

The little brown-haired boy came closer to touch Livius's forehead, but he had a normal temperature.

"I'm fine. I don't want to play today."

"Why not? We always play together...hyaaa!!! Do you have another best friend? No, it can't be, you swore I would be your only best friend..."

The brown-haired boy was already shaking him while crying and screaming, but Livius tried to remain calm.

"I don't have another friend, I just don't want to play, you're making a fuss over nothing. You're not a baby."

"Livi, you're acting very strange. Did you lose your memory? Like in those books my sister reads."

"I haven't lost my memory, if I had, I wouldn't remember you, Your Highness."

Maximiliam laughed somewhat awkwardly at his friend's words.

"Right...then let's go outside, let's walk, Mom says it's good for your health."

Livius let out a sigh. He couldn't just leave and leave the prince alone, but going for a walk was better than trying to play. Maximiliam ran and jumped all over the garden while Livius just walked. He was frustrated, it was still strange and confusing to be in this world. All he knew was that he had to survive and for that, he needed to avoid the protagonist. Both children arrived at the Empress's garden. The woman was there drinking tea with other ladies so both bowed to greet her. Immediately the ladies began with their compliments towards Maximiliam.

"He is such a polite and adorable child."

"Your Majesty, without a doubt the little prince is identical to you."

"The young man accompanying him must be from the Stefan house."

"I heard they are good friends and that the young Duke was ill."

"Livi is better now and that's why he came to play."

"I'm glad to see you're better, young Livius."

"Thank you, Your Majesty, I appreciate your concern."

"Go with the maids to be served dessert."

"Yes, Mother. Ladies, with your permission."

Maximiliam bowed; the women were delighted with his kindness and sympathy. Livius just bowed and followed the young prince.

Episode 3

After that visit to the palace, Livius refused to go again. In his past life, he was always a serious boy without good friends. He dedicated his life to working, getting to where he was cost him since he had no one to support him. He learned that life wasn't easy when you didn't have money, so he valued every achievement he had because it was through his effort, although that led him to develop a closed personality. He only smiled in front of the cameras, but in his daily life, he was a loner who preferred to stay at home enjoying a movie or reading romantic novels, dreaming that maybe someday, just like the protagonists, he would also find his great love.

Little Livius lets out a long sigh after closing the book in his hands. Now, his favorite place was the library. He used to stay there after class to read information about this world. He discovered that there are people who possess magic, although not all. Most are temple mages or come from very prestigious families that serve the emperor, and among those families were the Stefans, that is, his. That meant that he should have powers. He doesn't remember much about the novel yet, so he doesn't have that detail in mind yet, but he imagines that it must be strong magic since it gave the empire a fight.

He left the library looking for his parents. The first one he found was the Duchess, a beautiful young woman, perhaps not even over 30 years old, something normal at that time, as they usually marry quite young.

“Mother, forgive me for interrupting, I would like to ask you a question."

"You’re not interrupting anything, little one. Tell me.”

The woman smiled at him with the warmest and sweetest smile he had ever seen. His heart skipped a beat. His mother was beautiful and kind; it's incredible that all of that changed just from manifesting as an omega. The Duchess lifted him up by the arms and sat him on her lap.

"What kind of magic do I have?"

"Hmm... I don't know; it hasn't manifested yet. Maybe it’s not the same as your father’s.”

"So, I won't inherit the same magic as my father?"

"Maybe not, maybe so. You’ll have to wait."

"How long will I have to wait?”

"It won’t be long now. It should happen when you turn eleven.”

"I understand... thank you, Mother."

Just the age at which they usually manifest their secondary gender. He let out a slight sigh.

"You know you can tell me anything, little one."

The woman kissed him on the forehead, causing Livius to feel embarrassed. He had never felt that love from a mother before. He couldn't help but smile. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to be Livius Stefan. No, what was he thinking? He would only have those gestures of affection for a year. The following days, Livius continued with his classes and his research on the world he now inhabited. The incredible thing is that despite being in ancient times, electricity existed, but there were no objects that needed it. According to his research, electricity was produced thanks to the magic crystals from the temple that supplied the entire city. It was incredible what they had achieved, but thanks to that, he doesn't have to live in a world where he has to use candles; it's very annoying. He also discovered about the different types of magic that exist, each person is born with a special one.

"Do you really want to learn?"

The Duke was surprised. Livius had never shown any interest in learning to use the sword, especially since he looked like a fragile child. No matter how much he ate, his body was still thin.

"Yes, Father. I think I should know a little bit of everything if I’m going to serve the imperial family.”

Although, if possible, it would be better if he didn't continue with that absurd tradition of being a faithful servant to the emperor in turn.

"You’re right. Alright, but it will be light training.”

"I didn't expect you to like swordsmanship, Liv.”

Ophelia was there present as she was having tea with her father.

"I just thought I could learn for self-defense.”

"Oh! Good idea."

The Duke pats the little boy's head. He mentions that he will look for a suitable teacher for him to start learning the basics. Right after that, his nanny comes for him, mentioning that he has a visitor. Upon reaching the room, he only feels the brown-haired boy lunging at him, hugging him, and rubbing his cheek against his.

"Livi!!! I missed you so much. Your mother went to the palace and brought me to see you.”

"O-of course, what a surprise..."

Livius lets out a forced giggle. His mother shouldn't have brought him; the last thing he wants is to keep dealing with that boy. Livius looks towards Ophelia, who has seen the scene but greets the prince with a curtsy from afar and continues with her tea-drinking routine. Something strange, since she is supposed to be Maximiliam's fiancee.

"Come on, Livi. Let's go to your bedroom.”

Unable to resist, the little brown-haired boy takes him by the hand to go to the bedroom. And there he was, sitting on the edge of the bed while the little brown-haired boy jumps on the furniture. It's incredible that he has to put up with all this, but he can't yell at him to leave; surely his parents would scold him for snubbing the Crown Prince.

“Liviiiii!!!! Jump with me."

The brown-haired boy hugs him by the neck and pulls him so that he can stay in the middle of the bed.

"Come on, it's fun, Livi.”

"It’s not, and you’ll ruin my bed. How old are you? Stop acting like a child.”

"Livi, we’re children. I can’t act like an adult if I’m not an adult.”

Livius clicks his tongue. He thought that with that, he would be offended and leave.
