"In our Aozora Galaxy there exist 3 planets that are occasionally at war with each other.

The first one is Planet Exynia, where it's inhabitants have weak bodies and weak magic power, but they manage to overcome their weakness with their intelligence.

The inhabitants of Planet Exynia are called The Voran, their characteristics are that they have a pale white skin, blue hair, a technologically advanced bodysuit armor that made them powerful, and because of their weak bodies, the majority of the Voran are skinny"

Then there is Planet Dynatos, where in contradictory to The Voran, it's inhabitants have a great amount of magic and sturdy bodies but they're not considered the smartest as they are still several centuries behind in term of technological development in comparison to ours and The Vorans.

There are 2 main races in Dynatos, the first one is the Four-armed folks also known as the Quadran, and the second one is the half dragon half men folks also known as the Drakon.

The Quadrans characteristics are that they have 4 arms, a reddish tan brown colored skin, white hair, yellow eyes, 2 Horns poking out of the side of their head above their slightly pointy ears, and because of their sturdy body, the majority of both the Quadran and the Drakon have bodies with tight muscles.

And speaking of The Drakons, their characteristics are that they have a similar skin tone to us, their hair are the same color as their element, a slightly pointy ears, a large scaley dragon tail coming out of their lower back, two horns coming out of their forehead bending up and to the back, and that they can transform into a fully-fledged dragon for their trump card.

And then last but not least, our home planet, Avari where our human race resides. In comparison we may not be as advanced as the Vorans nor are we as strong as the Quadrans and the Drakons, but with the combine power of our intelligence that far surpasses the inhabitants of Dynatos and our magic power that far surpasses the Vorans, we manage to pose a threat in this never-ending war. They fear us humans, because we have the potential to surpasses both of them in their own specialty. But do not get this over your head, because currently right now if we did an all out war against them, we'll lose. Also this may be just my personal opinion, but we must not discriminate against them, they also lives life just like us, they also have families and friends."

"And that concludes my lesson for now, does anyone have a question?" said by what it seemed to be a professor to a class of students.

Then a boy student raises his hand "Is it really true that us human can stand a chance against them?"

The professor smiles "Yes that's right, if we nurtured the next generation correctly and unleash their potentials, we can win this war."

Then another student asks the professor "Then Professor Luke, how far is this so called "Next generation" that you speak of? Do you think that our generation in the future can be the one to win this war and take control of Exynia and Dynatos?"

Professor Luke slightly frown and sighs "Hmmm, yes if you study and train seriously, your generation can be the one who'll stop the war. But also remember what I said a moment ago! We must not discriminate against them, while yes I do want to stop this war, I do not want us human to take control and rule their planets in tyranny! I want this war to stop in a peaceful way, I want a future where all of the races can live together in harmony without hatred."

The students are bewildered, then one student speaks "Is that even a possibility at this point?"

Professor Luke sighs then look outside the window at the sky "Maybe, maybe not, I hope it is possible, but I don't know what the future holds for us."

The students continue to murmurs at Professor Luke's statement just now

"I guess that's enough for today, no homework for today" Professor Luke says as he packs up his belonging to leave the class.

The professor just now is Professor Luke Aslan, he is a professor at Ezra Academy, one of the many schools of magic in Avari. He is a lean young man in his mid-twenties, with a shoulder length Dark red hair and yellow eyes. He has two jobs as a professor and as an Adventurer.

While Avari is a modern planet, there are still a big part of Avari that are a dangerous area filled with monsters. And that is where the adventurer comes into play, they slay said monster and protect the peaceful area from any monster outbreak. Other than slaying monsters, adventurers also participate in the war. All 3 planets suffer this same fate and also have their own sets of adventurers.

~at night~

Luke is sitting on his bed at home with a sour look still thinking of that one student question "Is it really not possible? Am I stupid for thinking that we can come to an agreement with the other races?"

"I used to think that it's fine that if people don't believe that it's possible, but after so long, just hearing people say that it's impossible is really making me feel that it really is just some farfetched dream."

*knock* *knock*

"Yes?"

Then Elora Aslan, his wife comes in the room

Elora Aslan is a beautiful lady with a pale white skin with a long straight bright red hair and green eyes. They met when they're in high school and after many ups and downs they married at the age of 23 and are now looking forward to their first baby"

"Darling, why the sour look?"

"it's just that I've been beginning to think that maybe a peaceful way to stop the war is impossible."

"Oh darling, look at me! Believe in yourself, and if you find it hard to do, then believe in me your beloved wife who believes in you!" Elora nags.

"Also, you'll disappoint your clan member if you start talking like that in front of them"

Luke chuckles "Yeah, you're right Elora, I'm sorry for ever doubting myself"

"Good, I forgive you. Oh right! Dinner is ready"

Luke smiles as he sees his wife hurriedly getting out of the room to go to the dining room

Then suddenly Luke's phone rings

"Oh, hey Ray! What's up?"

"Well, you sound awfully happy" Ray snort to Luke through the phone

"Yeah, after all my beautiful wife has just comforted me" Luke grins

"….."

"Oh right, you're single again aren't you" Luke mocks his friend

"Oh, shut up, I just haven't found the right one yet" Ray retorts back

"Uggh nevermind, I've got something to tell you" Ray switched becoming serious

"What is it?"

"Meet me in the adventurer guild tomorrow, we got assigned an SS-Rank mission"

Luke becomes serious "Okay, I'll meet you tomorrow"

'I've gotten permission from the headmaster pretty easily, he is even letting me take a leave for as long as I want, it just shows how important an SS-rank mission is'

'Now where is Ray at' Luke thinks while entering the adventurer guild

Ray also knows as Rayden Aragorn is Luke's childhood friend, they've been friends for over 15 years, they're basically brothers with how close they are. Ray is a lean but muscular man in his mid-twenties with a shoulder length platinum blonde hair with red eyes.

"Luke! Over here"

Luke looks at where the voice came from, he sees Ray and one other person, that person is Luna Aeryn

Besides Ray is Luna Aeryn, she is their last member of their clan "Eden" named after Luke's dream of a peaceful end to the war. She met Luke and Ray when the three of them just started being an adventurer. After teaming up for a mission, they find out they are compatible with each other and have been a team ever since.

Luna is a beautiful slender lady with a long wavy golden blonde hair with light blue eyes. She is the shortest in the group with Ray being slightly taller than Luke.

"There you are!"

"So, what's the mission exactly?" Luke asks seriously

"Hold that thought, let's go to a private room first, this mission is confidential after all" said Ray

"Woah! is that the SS-Rank Clan Eden?

"Woah it really is them!"

"They're so cool! I wanna be like them someday"

The adventurers in the guild couldn't help but murmurs and awed at the appearance of an SS-Rank Clan because of how rare an SS Class adventurers are

The three of then then went to a private room in the guild

While walking to the private room Luke started whispering to Luna

"So, you haven't made any progress with Ray yet?" asked Luke playfully

"Wh-What are you talking about???" Luna said while being startled by Luke's comment

"Oh come on, I know you like Ray, have you ever noticed how you looked very jealous every time Ray goes on a date with another woman?"

"Not only that, you always have this smug face whenever Ray failed with his dates"

"S-Stop it!! Fine you Win okay! I'm just to embarrassed to confess to him, and what if I got rejected, our group will be ruined!" Luna shouted quietly

"It's fine Luna, Let me tell you something, Ray isn't dense like you think he is, he likes straightforward woman, so just be brave and confess to him, or else someone else might steal that spot from you" Luke laughs dryly

"Y-You meanie" Luna said tearing up

"What are you guys doing, hurry up" Ray shouted at Luke and Luna

Then they stop their chat and follow Ray to the private room

After they seat down, Ray is the first to start talking

"A Black Drakon have been spotted near the BloodMoon Forest"

Both Luke and Luna looked at ray in disbelief

"How did a Black Drakon even get there" Luna asks

"That's what this mission is about, we are assigned this mission by the Imperial family to investigate" Ray adds

"But our clan was never really one of that doing stealthy mission though, so why did our clan got assigned this mission?" Luna asks

"That's because there are no stealthy adventurer that are above the A-Rank, A-Rank adventurers, giving this mission to a bunch of A rank adventurers is basically giving them a suicide mission." Ray explains why to Luna

"Plus we're the only one who are available for this mission at the moment, and it's not like we can't do stealth mission at all"

"Anyway, there are 3 possibilities as to how a black Drakon got there is 1. It got transported here by accident and are now stuck in Avari and couldn't get back, 2. It is one of the remaining Dynatos troop from their great invasion 4 years ago, and 3. They are planting a magic rune portal to invade once again"

"If they really are planting a portal, that area is going to be a dangerous warzone"

"Also if any of us were to be spotted by the Drakon, we must abandon the mission and retreat no matter what!" Ray warns them

"Why do you say that? Even if it's a Black Drakon, with the combine power of us 3 SS-Rank Adventurer, we could defeat it." Luke speaks his opinion while holding his chin.

"Normally yes, but it has been suspected that the Black Drakon is an ancient one." Ray said seriously.

Luke slams the table then shouts at Ray "What! Isn't that just crazy? An Ancient Drakon's power rivals that of an EX-Rank adventurer!"

"That's why our job is to only investigate. And it's not confirmed whether or not it's actually an Ancient Drakon so calm down!" Ray said while trying to calm Luke down

"Phew, that's a relief" Luna breathes out relieved

"Anyway our paycheck for this mission will be 9 Billion units"

"Ah right, speaking of which there's something I've been meaning to tell you guys" Luke said seriously

"Hmmm? What is it?" Luna asks while tilting her head slightly to the right

"After this mission, I think I'm going to retire being an adventurer"

"WHAT!?!?! WHY!?!?" Ray and Luna both wide eyed surprised

"Thing is, my wife is pregnant, and I don't want to worry my wife and my future child if I will come home alive or not from doing this dangerous job"

"I also already have a stable job as a professor at Ezra Academy, so I don't have to worry about running out of money from my days as an adventurer, not that it'll run out soon anyway" Luke smiles warmly

"Oh, wow man, Congrats! Haha didn't expect my best friend is going to be a dad so soon" said Ray happily

"Wait what? Elora is pregnant? OMG why didn't the both of you say anything before now!?" said Luna excitingly

"Hahaha sorry sorry both of you, I just wanted to surprise you both, that's all" Luke chuckles

But then something clicks inside Ray's mind

"Wait, Luke, dropout from this mission!" said Ray seriously while staring into Luke's eyes

"You have a baby on the way, there's no way I'm letting you risk your life like this"

"It's fine Ray, I wanted my last mission to be special anyway" Luke smile dryly

"Not only that, you will be troubled if I retire now since we can't find a replacement in such a short notice"

Ray seems to be contemplating on whether or not to allow Luke to join in this mission or not for a few minutes

After some time of thinking, Ray finally speak his mind

"Fine, but If any of us sense that it's too dangerous, retreat no matter what, understand!" Ray said commandingly

"Yes yes I understand" said Luke not wanting to argue anymore.

After a 10 hour journey through a private car, the group arrives in front of The BloodMoon Forest. The BloodMoon Forest is a unique forest different from the other, when there's a full moon, all the monster in the forest will become blood lusted, thus every morning after a full moon the forest smelled like blood and is filled with the corpse of animals eaten by the monsters.

"Hhhh it gives me the creep every time I come here" Luna said whilst shivering

"Oh, come on now, how can you hate this smell of blood and animal corpses" Ray said sarcastically

"Alright now, less joking and more serious now, this could potentially be our most dangerous mission yet" Luke reminds them

"Yeah yeah, let's finish this quickly so that you can be a family man" Ray teases Luke.

Then all three of them starts entering the forest

After half an hour have passed, Ray starts to wonder

"Hmm this is weird, how come we haven't seen anything yet? Not just the monster that we haven't seen, not even a single animal was seen"

"Yeah even though the forest stinks of blood and corpses, we haven't even seen a single corpse in the forest" Luna replied

But then Luke sense something ominous. Luke then held his hand up with a tight fist to signal Ray and Luna to stop. After they stops, they started to observe a particular cave in the forest

"That's where the smells of corpse in the forest came from, it seems that all of the corpse were all in that cave"

"No wonder we didn't find any corpse on the way here"

Then a black figure comes out of the cave

It's a Black Drakon, the Black Drakon seems to have a long messy black hair with yellow eyes, His Body is that of a lean muscular young man, He seems to wear something like a black garb with his chest being shown, and he seems to be carrying a great sword in his back.

"Uhh why do I have to this shit job anyway? I hate being stealthy like this"

"If only the portal could be completed in just a day, now I'm stuck here guarding this place for a month"

"At least the monster around here was delicious" The Black Drakon casually complained while stretching

"Ray looked at his clan member then whisper "It seems like it's a young Black Drakon instead of an ancient one, but still we've confirmed that they are planting a portal here, we'll retreat right away"

Ray then reports to the guild a report of their founding through his phone

But the Black Drakon sense that there are people hiding at the top of tree branches

Then suddenly the Black Drakon disappears from Ray's view then reappear directly in front of them

"I SEE YOU!!!!" the Black Drakon smiles

As both Luke and Ray got startled by the sudden appearance of the Black Drakon in front of them, Luna who is a few steps back from them managed to make a move

"LEO, I SUMMON YOU!!!"

Just before the Drakon's claw managed to reach the startled Luke, A muscular man symbolizing the Lion Zodiac sign came attacking from above

|ZODIAC SUMMON| is Luna aeryn's ability to summon The 12 Zodiacs, while in the beginning she could only summon one at a time, now she is able to summon 3 at a time while having borrowed of the Zodiacs power into her own

"Hahahahaha, you're pretty good to have survive that attack from the mighty me!" Leo speaks proudly

*whistles* the Black Drakon whistles

"To think that you could tank that attack, this ought to be interesting" the Black Drakon smiles harder

"Hear me as my name is Kiros Mavros, the fifth son the Mavros Royal family" Kiros proudly introduces himself

"NOW! It's our chance to retreat!!" Ray shouts

"Ohoho no can do, I've already created a barrier surrounding the forest, once you went into the forest, no one can get out! Hahahaha" Kiros laughs

"I'll take the pleasure to take all 4 of you at the same time"

"Shit! I guess we have no choice than to fight him" said Ray

"It's fine, he's not an ancient type, we should be able to take him down" Luke says calming the tension

"Still, he's a royalty, he's going to be more powerful than a normal Drakon" Ray replies

"Then I guess we have no choice but to go all out" said Luna with a slight smile

"TAURUS, SAGITARIUS I SUMMON YOU!"

Then a large muscular man with a giant golden axe in his back and a Centaur with Bow and arrows made out of magic appears, they are Taurus and Sagitarius.

Taurus is an enormous muscular man twice the size of Ray with black and white hair and a mustache. While Sagitarius is a muscular half man half horse with long brown hair.

"Taurus fight in the front with Leo and Ray! Luke prepare a level 8 magic in case something goes wrong! And Sagitarius let me borrow your power and help me supports from a distance"

"Yes milady!" Leo, Taurus and Sagitarius obeys her

"Hahahahaha this is going to be interesting" Kiros laughs out loud

"Consider this an honor boy" said Leo while he swung a punch towards Kiros

Kiros dodges easily, but before he could counter attack, suddenly a giant golden axe is swung to his head. After Kiros barely dodged the axe he starts to think a way to win the fights.

"Ha! Is that really it? The power of a Black Drakon?!" Leo mocks Kiros but but the provocation just falls to Kiros's deaf ear

After dodging multiple hits from Taurus and Leo and arrow shots from Luna and Sagitarius, Kiros realizes that the blonde-haired man hasn't started attacking him

Kiros smirked "I GUESS I NEED TO TAKE OUT THE WEAKLING FIRST", Kiros lunges towards Ray thinking he'll be an easy target.

But suddenly a giant red translucent shield appears surrounding Ray |ABSOLUTE DEFENSE|

It's defense was so strong, that even Kiros claws shatters upon impact.

"To be called a weakling, how humiliating" Ray said to Kiros with a straight face

|ABSOLUTE MATERIALIZATION| is Rayden Aragorn's ability to conjure red translucent weapons out of pure magic, he could conjure it instantly that it advantages him a lot with an element of surprises in battles. His conjured weapons are not cheap of quality either, they are as sturdy if not more than the highest sold weapons in Avari. And because it's made out of pure magic, he can add additional effects to the conjured weapon with whatever he like whenever the time
