(he is a vampire but a lowly vampire his family was saved by one of the masters years ago and they became friends so he taught him the family techinque and ever since his family has been the teachers. the prevous teacher will teach the heir(new teacher) and then so on and if they have more kids then they will teach the 2nd oldest just in case something happens to the heir but they usely dont have to become the next teacher so the other children just do housework the masters decide )

now i bet your wondering how caspen is a vampire and demon and his twin is only a vampire and that is because the moore family was cursed but it was forgotten since the curse never happened in the time frame the thought so they thought the mage was joking or cased the spell wrong but what they dont know is the curse was ment to take generations ...... 17 generations to be exact and the curse was for the first son born after 17 generations will be a demon but since he was not the only one born the curse failed slightly and he is half vampire since the vampire blood was given to his sister he was accidently given the vampire blood and this is the reason why he is a slow learner and the signs he does is different because he isnt a total vampire and so the magic works different so if the spell calls for a side to side hand sign he can do up and down and it will work for him its more of a backwards magic technique

it has now been 5 years and ml has now learned most of the techinque and his sister has now working on the very last step she was so fast on learning she skipped a few lessons and bu skip i mean only had to be taught once for about 2 mins and she learned it so for like 7 weeks this was the norm until one day she started needed more time to learn stuff so that how we got here
the head of the house and the master of the house both hate ml because he is slow and useless and so they are making the sister the heir of the family this time since ml sucks
they still dont know he is half demon because they never got him tested to find out why he is slow the just assume he is stupid and so they treat him horrible
if they would have they would have learned he was smart ,smarter than most and when those tests done then they will call mages to see if magic was the reason then they will find out he was half demon and so they would be forced to have a demon master and so between the demon master and rex he could learn and he be faster and stronger than anyone in the family is sister included he would have been done with the lessons by year 2 maybe 3 if there was a part that was hard for him
the main goal of the mage that cursed the family was to have the vampires acknowlege other races and know they are stronger and since the last war was with vampires and demons and only won because the master of the demons was stupid so they made one son a full demon so he can prove to be superier than everyone else and everyone cower in fear and beg mages to lift the curse so that no more pure demons can be born in the vampire bloodline but since he isnt a full vampire they never learned this lesson so he is forgotten and abandoned by his family they only give him the bare basics and if a teacher hurts him they just act like it never happened and the maids and hate him only the butler takes care of him
his sister did a first until she was told he will bring down her repuation if she kept hanging out with,protecting ,being sisterly to ml so she chose family reputation and love over her brother so he is all alone now if a outsider looked in you would think he was adopted because of the way he is treated
he eats an hr after the family and he no longer shares the same classes as his sister he goes an hr later
