"BAEK RUN!!!"

A loud yell that echoed around the empty city.

The young man immediately ran the moment he heard the call of his name.

"BROTHER!! WHERE ARE YOU?!?" Baek immediately replied while running around the small market town. The town was pitch black without any hint of light, the young man kept on running and running trying to find his older brother.

Sweating and panting, he continued to desperately look for his brother.

*BOOM*

The loud blast from a distance alarmed Baek, he suddenly became anxious about his brother. He immediately grabbed the nearest weapon he could find and followed the loud sound.

The moment he reached the place, he was too late...

Baek's eyes widen as he saw his one and only brother bleeding to death.

*Clank*

Due to the shock Baek felt, he dropped the weapon he took before and ran towards his brother.

"N-no s-stay there.." His brother helplessly whispered as he slowly kneeled down the cold wet ground.

"Stay alive for me, kay?" his brother smiled.

*Thump*

Baek can't get any closer, he cried and yelled out of anger. His eyesight started to lose focus.

*Knock knock*

"Young master? are you awake?" the old man asked while standing outside.

"mhm" Baek stretched his arms and slowly opened his eyes.

"That dream again.." He whispered.

"Young master, can i go inside?" the old man asked once again.

"You may," he replied.

It was already 5 years when that day happened, it was an unfortunate event that shocked Baek for a very long time. The two brother's were very close to each other, because of that. Baek lost all his emotions that very day.

A few years back...

One day, Baek finally had the opportunity to rest in his house. He went to his bedroom without eating and slept. After a few hours, he started to hear different voices around him.

"********"

"***?"

It was an unfamiliar accent and Baek can't seem to understand their language.

He finally opened his eyes and it was still a little blurry.

"How long was i asleep?" he thought.

He saw a blonde woman near his bed and an old man wearing a suit, because his eyesight was still blurry, he can't see their faces.

*Plop*

The blonde woman fell of her chair with a shocked face.

Baek still cannot understand this conversation ↓

"MADAM!!" the old man shouted, as he immediately kneeled to assist the unknown lady.

The woman held the old man's hand, she suddenly stood up and went to Baek.

"HE'S AWAKE!!!" the blonde woman then touched Baek's face and brushed his hair with her hands.

*Drip Drip*

Tears started to flow from the woman's eyes, the moment Baek sat. The woman hugged him tight.

"THE YOUNG MASTER IS AWAKE!!!" the butler ran outside of the bedroom trying to call out all the people outside.

"My son? how are you feeling?" the lady asked while caressing his cheeks. But, because Baek cannot understand what she is saying, he just stared at her without any response.

"Son?" She asked once again.

Baek remained silent, the woman started to worry and called for the old man who ran outside.

"BUTLER!! CALL FOR THE DOCTOR!!" she shouted.

A few minutes later..

The doctor came and checked Baek, he shaked his head and looked at the woman.

"I think he has a temporary memory lost due to the strong impact on his head, plus he slept for a very long time." the doctor said.

From that time on, Baek was taught about everything from learning their language and so on.

4 Years later...

4 Years have passed and Baek was finally 15 in his new body. He finally accepted the fact that he was transferred in a completely new world and that he was no longer Baek Hyun, Henry La Clair De Vuer. He is now the sole heir of De Vuer Duchy, people detest about him becoming the heir because of his looks and short comings. But since his father the duke and his stepmother loved him very dearly, the people have no choice but to accept him.

Henry's real mother died while giving birth to him, but because his father didn't want his son to grow up without any mother. He decided to be remarried, The stepmother grew very close to Henry. And soon after, she became his real mother. Aethra Suville De Vuer, was his stepmother's name. She cannot give birth, and that is the reason why Henry was the only child of the duke. Even though the "old" Henry was shy and weak, the couple did not pay any mind about it. They only filled Henry with love and care, but one night, Henry accidentally fell in the pond. Because of that, he lost consciousness for about a month or so.

That was also the time Baek's body and Henry's body died.

But due to Baek's unwillingness to go to his new body, the guardian who was in charge of him have no other choice but to erase a piece of Baek's memory. The one who caused him to lose all his emotions to be exact.

The reason why the old Henry fell "accidentally" on the pond was still unknown.

At the present...

"Young master? what are your plans for today?" the butler asked while fixing Henry's outfit.

"I'm gonna play outside for a bit." He said while smiling.

The butler look infuriated, after finishing fixing Henry's clothes. Henry ran near the balcony and looked back at the butler.

*Opens the balcony door*

"Cover for me, will ya?" Henry whispered while one of his foot stepped on the edge of the balcony, the butler looked more angrier which made Henry laugh.

"You look ugly y'know" He said.

Henry then jumped and the butler slapped his forehead.

"Such a stubborn child" he thought while shaking his head, the butler then proceeded to clean Henry's bedroom.

*Footsteps outside the door*

*Opens the door*

"Butler, where's Henry?" Aethra asked, the butler bowed and greeted the lady.

"The young master went outside again mistress." He replied.

"Let him be~ " She said while smiling, she walked inside the bedroom and took Henry's photo.

"He'll be back later, so we don't have to worry" she smiled lovingly while holding Henry's photo.

*BANG BANG BANG*

Loud music can be heard and the people are all laughing and dancing.

"So today's Vaska's anniversary huh" Henry though while walking around.

Vaska is the name of this Empire, where Henry is currently residing, since his father is a duke of this country.That makes his family rank one of the strongest after the royal family.

And after taking over the original Henry's body, Baek slowly regained his emotions. He finally enjoys small gatherings and celebrations.

"I really like this world, back in my world everything's pitch black and quiet. We also have to struggle for food." He thought once again.

He was once a famous "cleaner" from a well known institution back in his old world. That is why he always struggles to survive every single day, and he can't even quit since it was a contract. The same goes with his brother.

"Let's forget about the past and enjoy~" He said, he bought skewers and more.

While looking around he started to eat the food he bought.

*Bites*

"Wow! this is really good! mother would like this!" He said.

He kept on buying different things from different types of stores and soon after, his hands were finally full.

*Bump*

"ARGH!" the unknown man fell down.

"Woops...my apologies" Henry said while looking at the man who fell.

"You alright?" he asked.

"I can't help you stand up, as you can see. I'm holding a ton of stuff." He said.

"YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!" The man shouted.

People started gathering and whispered.

"HOW DARE YOU!!" He shouted while pointing his finger at Henry's face.

"Hey calm down will you? i didn't see you, i'm holding alot of stuff." Henry replied.

"DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM???!!!" the man ignored Henry words and asked arrogantly.

"Should i know you?" Henry asked.

"I AM THE ONLY HEIR OF SA-" Henry interrupted the man.

"Yeah yeah, you done?" Henry asked.

The man got angrier and started to whisper a chant.

"_____"

*Crackle*

"Shit not again" Henry whispered.

The unknown man created a small lighting bolt enough to harm Henry.

"Hey buddy, stop what you're doing right now." Henry said and shrugged.

Because of Henry's actions, the unknown man has gotten more enraged.

The man continued to chant, that made more people interested.

*Whispers* *Whispers*

"Hey what are they doing?" boy 1

"Seems like they're fighting" boy 2

"Should we move?" girl 3 thought

More and more curious people started to gather, as they didn't take notice of the danger that might happen to them.

"****!! there's tons of people here!!" Henry thought and started to get nervous,not because of the unknown man's strength. But because of the innocent people that may be harmed.

"Stop this already," Henry said to the man.

"Also, your chanting is way too shitty" Henry added.

"T-TAKE THIS!!!!" The unknown man fired his lighting bolt directly at Henry.

"Argh this is why i have to keep my mouth shut next time." Henry thought.

*RUNNING FOOTSTEPS*

*SHOUTING*

The people started to scatter with a terrified expressions.

Henry, without a single chant, caught the bolt and that caused smoke everywhere.

*Cough* *Cough*

He waved his hand to fan the smoke away from his face.

"Mother's gonna kill me when i return," Henry thought wearing a troubled look.

As the smoke slowly went away, the unknown man gave a blank expression.

"****, i messed up.." The unknown man thought and started to sweat.

"S-should i run???" He thought, looking left and right trying to find a way to escape.

The unknown man attempted to run but he was too late, Henry was already beside him.

"So, where are you going?" Henry asked, as he put his arm across the unknown man's shoulder. The unknown man went stiff and can't look at Henry's eyes.

"Hmmmm?" Henry teased the unknown man and smiled.

"hahaha, what? are you scared now?" Henry asked.

The man slowly looked at Henry.

"I only did so little, was that all you can do?" Henry asked again, and that made the man silent.

"I-i-im s-sorry" The man said while shivering.

Henry removed his arms and patted the man's back.

"The next time you accidentally bump into someone, atleast don't make a ruckus." Henry said.

The man nodded and Henry finally let him go.

*RUNS*

Without wasting a single second, the unknown man fled.

"Atleast he didn't cause any more trouble, this won't reach mother's ears. R-right?" Henry mumbled.

At that moment, Henry suddenly felt a strange aura back at the nearest alley.

He immediately looked and saw no one.

"I'm pretty sure i felt something strange," Henry thought.

A few hours later...

It was already night time, but the fairy lights that was placed everywhere around the town made the place even brighter. The noise and music didn't stop, and more people started to come.

Henry finally went back to his residence.

*Walks*

The moment he returned, as soon as the knights opened the large doors. The butler was already waiting inside, henry entered with a lot of things on his hands.

*Bows*

The butler greeted him with respect and started to smile.

*Sweat* *Sweat*

"Hey butler, your giving me a scare. you smiling like that gave me shivers," Henry said while walking towards the butler to hand a few bags of food that he bought outside.

*Gives a few bags*

"Oh dear young master, the mistress was quite worried of you. We didn't expect you to return so late." The butler replied as he takes the bags Henry gave.

"Why would mother be so worried? isn't she outside as well.?" Henry asked while walking.

"The mistress did indeed went out, after all. She has to attend parties that the nobles invited her into." The butler replied.

"But," the butler added as he looked at Henry.

Henry suddenly felt a strange energy behind him that made him stop, he started to sweat and can't seem to look back.

"H-hey butler D-don't t-tell me....." Henry stutteringly asked.

The butler just smiled and bowed at the person behind the both of them.

"M-mother?" He slowly turned his head.

"Yes? dear son?" His mother replied with a scary smile.

Henry smiled as well.

"So, where did you go today for you to be this late?" Aethra asked.

"M-mother the night sky was so beautiful thag i forgot how late it is." Henry nervously replied.

Henry looked away and can't seem to look at Aethra eye to eye.

"You are fully aware of how dangerous it may be outside, yes?" Aethra said as she held Henry's cheeks.

"Always remember, you are the sole heir of our family. Many people will try and attempt to harm you, i'm not angry about you going out of this mansion. But for you to return this late at night is not acceptable." His mother explained.

"I understand mother, it won't happen again." Henry replied as he look down.

Aethra finally felt at ease and removed her hand from Henry's cheeks.

Aethra was always worried about Henry, since his body is so weak and fragile. He can't handle a single blow, that is why she was so protective of him. Little did she know, that Henry was already stronger than he was before. But he decided not to reveal anything to his family, they might start to feel something suspicious of him.

Returning back to the time Baek took over Henry's body....

Night time..

"WHY THE HELL AM I SO WEAK??!?!?" Henry shouted.

He stood out of bed the moment his family left, a few weeks have already past since the time he woke up from his coma.

*Walks to find the mirror*

"SHIT WHY AM I SO UGLY?!?!" Henry shouted once again, as he glanced at the mirror.

The "Baek Hyun" back in his old world used to be good looking. He has white long hair, blue eyes clear as the ocean, and a strong physique. The only flaw he has was that he has no emotion.

on the opposite Henry La Clair De Vuer, has dark purple hair, deep black eyes and has a weak and fragile body. He also has good looks, but it was all gone to waste because of the old Henry's carelessness.

Because of this, Henry secretly trained his body to be fit and strong just like before.

It took a few months for him to finish everything, but after all those hardships he finally managed to achieve the body he was more comfortable and much more stronger.

Since the duchy was known for it's swordsmanship together with magic, it gave Henry a chance to achieve what he want in a very short time.

At night...

*Sitting at the middle of the bedroom*

"So this was the reason why this body was so weak from the very beginning, someone must have blocked this body's veins" Henry thought as he sensed a few blockages in his veins.

He started to sweat more that before and his body heated up. He was trying to open the veins that was blocked so that the mana he has will be able to spread throughout his body without a problem. But to do that, he has to endure a large amount of pain.

"It hurts" He thought.

He thought deeply and finally removed a few.

"A litte more.." He mumbled.

A few hours later...

He finally managed to remove everything, and now mana flows properly, he can finally use magic.

"It's successful" He said as he stood up from the ground.

"Wow, look at this sweat" He said and walked near his bedroom where a few towels were placed.

While wiping his sweat.

"So this is mana?" He said.

"This is much more convenient."

"But i still have to hide this from my family"

"If they found out that i have been training every single day, they might start to be suspicious, we can't have that" He said while shaking his head.

*Drops his towel at his bed*

*Sniffs*

"Man i smell"

"I should take a shower"

He walked at the door and the moment he touched the handle of the door, he suddenly remembered something.

"Oh i forgot to change my look" He thought.

He removed his hands away from the door handle and whispered a small chant.

"Lavier" He chanted.

His body started to look the same as before, a small body structure and his hair also shortened and his eyes looked deeper.

"We can't have them seeing my new body yes?" He thought.

As he walked through the door the moment he opened it, the butler was waiting outside.

*Bows and greets Henry*

"Lui, prepare my bath" Henry said.

"Yes" The butler replied and immediately looked for the maids who can help him.

Returning back in the present....

Morning...

*Chirps chirps*

"Good morning young master," Lui greeted.

Henry slowly opened his eyes and looked at his butler.

"W-what time is it?" Henry asked while scratching his eyes.

"It's already sunrise young master." The butler replied.

"It's too early" Henry replied and closed his eyes.

"But you have a visitor coming today," Lui replied.

Henry then sat and asked.

"Who?" curiously asked.

"Your fiancee young master," Lui replied.

"HUH" Henry gasped.

"Wait, so i have a finance?" Henry thought.

"I shall prepare your attire," The butler replied.

A few moments later...

"Open the door" Lui commanded.

"Yes" The knights followed.

"Are you ready young master?" Lui asked.

"Yeah" Henry replied.
