Episode One

If you don't wake up right this instant!
Jungkook wakes up with a start.
He sits upright and rubs his eyes.
She smacks him hard on the back.
Jungkook
What was that for?
Mom
You had me worried sick!
Mom
I called you repeatedly and you didn't answer.
Mom
Now get out of bed and get washed up.
After doing as his mother asked, he heads to the kitchen/dining area.
He greets his father who is sitting in the living room clicking through channels with the remote.
He greets back, eyes not leaving the television. Jungkook joins his mother at the table where a bounty of food awaits him.
His mother decides not to eat with him having already eaten earlier, but she sips from a mug filled with freshly brewed tea.
Jungkook
This looks great, Mom.
He begins eating while his mother watches him.
Mom
You should really go grocery shopping.
Jungkook
I haven't gotten around to it.
Jungkook
I've been a bit busy.
Mom
Doing what, playing video games?
Jungkook
Mom, let's not start that again.
Although his mom sees it as 'just playing video games', it is Jungkook's career. It's the reason he can afford to live on his own.
It isn't just having fun, it's the way he earns a living. It's something that he's good at, something that comes naturally to him.
His mother looks as if she has more to say, but she drops the subject, which Jungkook is thankful for.
Jungkook
So anyway... what are you two doing here?
Jungkook
Aren't you supposed to be on a plane to Hawaii right now?
Jungkook's father scoffs loudly from the living room.
Dad
We were on our way there but when your mother called to say goodbye, and you didn't answer, she insisted we come straight here.
Mom
I didn't know if something happened to you.
He reaches over and grabs her hand.
Jungkook
I told you I'd never do... that again.
Mom
I know that's what you said but...
A tear streams down her face.
Mom
I couldn't stop thinking about you not being here when I get back.
Mom
I know it's selfish to ask you to stay alive for my sake but...
Mom
I can't bury another son, Jungkook.
Mom
I can't do that again.
Mom
I don't have the strength to.
Jungkook gets up from his seat and hugs his mother while she breaks down.
Her body shivers as she cries.
Jungkook
I made you a promise, didn't I?
Jungkook
I won't break it.
Jungkook
I'll be here when you get back.
Jungkook
I'll buy you guys more plane tickets, and you're going to get on that plane and go to Hawaii.
Jungkook
You're going to enjoy yourselves and get to have the honeymoon you never had.
Jungkook
No more tears, okay?
She forces out a laugh and pats the arms holding her.
Mom
Now finish your food before it gets cold.
Jungkook sits back down and eats as his mom watches him fondly.
Episode Two
The next morning, Jungkook wakes up early this time as to not miss his mother's phone call.
To pass the time, he decides to play a couple of rounds of Overwatch.
When his team is on the cusp of victory, his phone sounds off.
He hears the displeased voices of his teammates griping at him as he removes the headset.
He rushes over to his phone.
He slides the green button to accept the video call.
His mother's face pops up on his screen, a pensive look clouding her features which turns into a smile when she sees Jungkook's face.
Jungkook
I didn't want to miss your call again.
Jungkook
Didn't want you to worry.
Jungkook
Are you guys at the airport?
She turns the camera around so he can see the terminal.
Mom
We're making our way to the plane now.
Jungkook
Okay. That's good.
Mom
Are you sure you'll be okay, sweetie?
Jungkook
Mom, I'll be fine.
Jungkook
Don't worry about me, okay?
Dad
Come on, honey, we have to board the plane now.
Dad
Tell Jungkook goodbye.
Her frown only gets deeper.
Mom
I'll see you as soon as we get back, okay?
His dad's face pops onto the screen.
Jungkook
Love you too, Dad.
Jungkook
You guys have fun on your trip.
Jungkook
Bring me back a souvenir!
After their hasty goodbyes, the call ends.
Episode Three
Jungkook spends his morning and afternoon streaming himself playing various video games, occasionally munching on a few snacks here and there - seaweed chips, Twinkies, and banana kicks - until his stomach cries out for something with a little more sustenance.
Jungkook
I'm going to take a break to go find some real food, guys.
Jungkook
I'll be back in a moment.
He announces to his livestreaming audience. A few viewers protest in the chat, but others wish him a good meal and hopes he hurries back.
He goes into the kitchen intending to find something that can be made and eaten quickly as well as something filling.
But when he checks his cabinets, he doesn't find any -- his cupboards are mostly bare.
Inside his fridge is the same.
He guesses he has to go out and buy something. A feat easier said than done apparently.
