Prologue.

Why did you come to my house?

It was a visibly noisy morning.

Without making a loud step, the maids who were careful about everything looked more spirited that day.

Their daily work was all about going back and forth to the bedroom and the patron.

The ladies were normally loose, but for that day, they worked hard decorating Dayeon as much as possible.

The two-hour period of decorating was almost over and was heading towards the final step.

One of the servants, who was quietly waiting outside, noticed that time had run out and informed them.

As a result, the maids who were busy with her face and hair, became more urgent, amid that, there was the illusion of silent screams pouring out from their fingertips.

‘No….. I’m the one who wants to cry right now.’

Dayeon caught sight of her face illuminating as they applied the ivory-colored powder and spread a light color on her lips.

She somehow looked gloomy and depressed. And …….

Normal.

It was like her only advantage was her neat face and they really made an effort. She’s thankful for it.

꘏꘏꘏

The twelfth day of the Altius Empire in February, Year 327.

For years at the boundary, the Sarmans had been raising sporadic local wars and exploiting the Empire’s citizens. The Emperor had subjected them, led the army, and also set out to war himself. They had won the war and returned triumphantly the day before.

It was exactly nine days since they had the revelation, when Dayeon opened her eyes in this world.

[When the door of Hergonia opens, a man of strength appears.]

It’s the period where the divine rights didn’t match up the Emperor’s power.

According to the official records, it had been the first time in 32 years that a revelation occurred in the temple itself.

That alone had already caused a stir throughout the Imperial Palace and Altius.

But what was more notable was the content of the revelation.

The interpretation of what the revelation meant varied, but at least a few were clear.

‘Hergonia’ was used to refer to the vast forest on the temple grounds, but in the Scriptures, it meant where God dwelled.

Days after the revelation, the knights who had been searching the temple grounds eventually discovered the exotic appearance of Dayeon wandering through the vast forest.

The temple and the Imperial Family of Altius had had a hostile relationship for a long time.

The Emperor planted a spy in the temple to grasp the current situation, and didn’t attempt to conceal that he had been spying on the temple.

The Emperor had made one important political decision at that time. It was thought that the temple’s occupancy of her would soon lead to the strengthening of the temple’s power.

So when the news of her revelation came, the Emperor openly expressed his greed and wanted Dayeon to be led to the Imperial family.

The Emperor was a born politician who had a strong will to fulfill his original goal.

During the fierce war with the newcomers, in the midst of the officials and temple, both allies and enemies were quiveringly roasted by his political techniques when he fully displayed his ornate grilling.

And finally, he succeeded in subjugating her from the temple as evidence of revelation to the Imperial family.

Emperor Altius skipped the ceremony and hurried back to the palace. He wanted to meet Dayeon, who was inside the Imperial City.

That’s the whole story that’s been going on around her.

The problem, however, was that all of this had been going on from the start and until now, regardless of her circumstances.

The Emperor, the oracle they had obtained, the faithful knight who had discovered her, the officials who had been engaged in the temple, and the tug-of-war over her under the Emperor’s ascension, were very unexpected.

That’s where the story began.

“You may lift your head,” said the Emperor.

She tried to avoid looking at the Emperor’s face as straight as possible and raised her head in a gentle manner.

Eh?

Seeing Dayeon’s face, the Emperor’s expression crumbled slightly in that moment.

It looked exotic. At least, it was an unimaginable appearance for the people of the Altius Continent.

It was obvious that she wasn’t from here.

However, no mysteriousness and sacredness was felt.

It was modest and neat, but nobility couldn’t be sensed.

Rather, a handsome man who had just been ripped off a mythical mural and emerged was the Emperor himself with an odd expression.

“It’s not good enough.”

Somewhere in a row, a group of ministers could be heard whispering while looking at Dayeon’s appearance.

Dayeon bit lightly inside her mouth. Otherwise, she felt as if the sense of pressure and shame on top of her would shrink her body.

“What’s your name?” asked the Emperor, with rather cold eyes.

“I’m Lee Dayeon. Lee is my surname and Dayeon is my first name.”

“Before you appeared, there was a revelation. Did you know?”

“…….Yes. I knew.”

“Sure, this is the first oracle in 32 years, all I’ve been doing is mentioning God, selling an adequate amount of medicine and extorting the people’s donations. Thanks to you, this old man who almost went down on history as one of the most incompetent people, is now very encouraged. I should have been abdicated before that too, but that’s a pity.”

“…….”

Here, Dayeon somewhat realized.

The Emperor was extremely harsh with words.

Even the ministers who were lined up turned pale and lost their color.

However, he looked very nonchalant as that’s what tattered an old man’s life, a mouthful.

At that moment, he made an odd expression as if he realized something.

“…… That’s strange. I don’t feel any divine power from you.”

Divine powers were strongest in priests and knights who were dear to God.

He was considered the weakest in the history of the temple, but still the most powerful in the current empire.

From generation to generation, only a man closest to God would hear his voice and become the head of the temple.

But strictly speaking, divine power could be manifested in anyone.

Some nobles also possessed divine powers as well as faithful believers of the goddess, and even the Emperor, who was at odds with the temple, had the ability to heal faster than common people.

It was thanks to divine power.

However, in the strange-looking woman who was found in the temple’s territory, not even the handful of divine power that manifested in the starving children in the slums was detected.

“Then I’ll ask you something else. Can you read God’s language?”

Dayeon gradually felt a sense of déjà vu in this question and answer.

As time went by, the Emperor’s expression became stranger and more mysterious.

All the newer officials who had gathered at the temple took the same steps.

When she first opened her eyes, she hadn’t been able to control her emotions, but at some point she felt guilty about such profane thoughts, saying ‘I didn’t know where to feel the breath of God.’

The Emperor glanced doubtfully at Dayeon’s body.

Every day, she had worked overtime at a pugnacious level and when her sugar dropped as a result of the chocolates that she had poured into her mouth, Dayeon’s body was filled with flab.

It wasn’t unpleasant to see, but she wasn’t slender.

The Emperor asked doubtfully, noticing the body that didn’t look very healthy.

“……Do you have a sword or any other weapon you can handle?”

Altius was a nation who glorified the military.

The founding emperor was a descendant of the Muga family, and since then, Altius’s emperors had been the emperors and knights for generations.

Altius, which started with a balance between the imperial and theocracy in the early days of the foundation, was able to emerge with a powerful imperial power by putting priesthood under its feet 300 years later, because of the conquest war, which struck as a focal point for the revered imperial court, made the empire prosperous and was successful.

The popularity of the imperial family was based on strong military power, and the significance of sword and martial arts in Altius was tremendous.

But Dayeon was not even confident of peeling apples with a fruit knife, let alone a sword.

She couldn’t handle her embarrassed face, so she just responded politely.

From that point on, the Emperor began to feel slightly conflicted.

She seemed too ordinary to be the agent of God with some of God’s power.

She was small, quiet, and had a faint energy.

“Where are you from? Did you come from Hergonia like an oracle?”

Finally, she opened her eyes and got the chance to tell what she learned for over 20 days.

It was a savage world where the conquest war was active and the status system existed.

What she was trying to say was that she foresaw what disadvantageous effects it would do to herself.

But she couldn’t pretend that she didn’t know, and she couldn’t wrap it up as if it was nothing.

“……I don’t know where Hergonia is. But I don’t know about Altius or any land on the continent. The world I belonged to was not this place, and I talked about it, but no one knew where I lived. I’m not from the New World, but I’m not from this world either.”

The Emperor tilted his head as he listened to her.

“Not from the ‘New World……”

Upon hearing Dayeon’s words, the Emperor agonized for a long time with a serious expression.

The Emperor finally asked, after a long period of intense scrutinizing, as if staring at her would give an answer.

“Then what can you do?”

It was a question that was straight to the point.

However, in the face of a fearful emperor, who had been slaughtering enemies on the battlefield until the day before, she couldn’t say ‘I’m telling you the truth. I don’t know how to do anything!’.

She took a pondering glance and finally answered with a voice that sounded disheartened.

“I can do all sorts of things like cleaning and washing……..”

“…….I’m stronger than I look, so I’ll be able to do the hard work very well.”

The Emperor looked at her blankly, caught off guard.

He looked speechless.

In a short period of time, the Emperor’s face changed momentarily.

He looked at Dayeon with a look of bewilderment and a look of extreme disgust.

And finally, it quickly became cold.

Looking at his face, Dayeon could clearly see that what she said was wrong, wrong and wrong.

However, it wasn’t possible to say that there was no divine power in her or that she wouldn’t suddenly become a representative of God, could talk to the goddess, use swords, and read ancient letters.

The Emperor, who had been silent for a while, asked Dayeon.

It was a cold tone, but it also contained lamentation and disappointment.

“Why did Hernia (*goddess) send you here?”

That time, she didn’t reply.

Before entering the palace, it was very contrary to the law of the palace, but she knew that the Emperor did not ask the question to hear the answer.

And that was what she wanted to ask God.

‘Why did you drop me here?’

Dayeon really wanted to cry.

Chapter 2 - The Pain that Can't Kill Us

Chapter 2

Part 1 – The pain that can’t kill us

In the first few months, there had still been some people who had come occasionally.

Divine rights were weaker than Imperial powers and 100 years.

The temple didn’t want to miss the long-awaited opportunity.

Politically as well, she was a source of money, which was good for gathering followers and using them in religious business.

Although she couldn’t possibly remain under the protection of the temple because they couldn’t withstand the pressure of the persistent emperor, since then the temple had been constantly trying to connect with her.

But it didn’t take long for the priests, who’d visited one by one, to stop coming.

Neither did scholars who had wanted to explore record-breaking events and the aristocrats who had been waiting to use her in long-term political fights.

The last one were all alike.

‘Why?’

Their eyes and expressions uniformly reached the end point of whys.

The process varied from a copperplate full of biblical and unrecognizable ancient letters to sacred tools.

I didn’t know what you could do, so I’ve prepared this and that, so I’m sure you can do one of these.

They approached with faith but sadly, Dayeon really didn’t know how to do anything.

They couldn’t conceal their embarrassment. And shortly thereafter, they gave up.

Later, there were some people with impure ideas doubting whether the oracle was real.

Naturally, Dayeon was distressed.

It was painful to know that their awe-filled faces harbored expectations and it was painful to see the process of their confused faces showing when she didn’t meet their expectations.

Finally, they were disappointed and she was a little hurt by the question of ‘why?’ on her very existence.

In the case of the Emperor, his judgement was faster than the temple and the nobles.

He hadn’t visited her since the day that he had been granted an audience with her.

The Emperor of Altius wasn’t an unreliable person who moved aimlessly, and the Palace was extremely busy as they had started a post-war reparation with the Sarmans.

In other words, he was in the midst of the bureaucracy.

Dayeon didn’t find it difficult to realize that this was a situation where the strings had usually fallen off [1].

It wasn’t the first time she had ever experienced such a thing in her life.

“……”

Nevertheless, the coldness she had experienced before the confusion disappeared in an unfamiliar land was difficult to overcome. She felt as though she was getting smaller.

Three months after entering the Imperial Palace.

A month since people had stopped visiting.

It was a sunny May fresh with the shade of green trees.

Even in this land, the season of spring was beautiful and fragrant.

“Huh.”

Dayeon let out a feigned smile while looking at the plate, which only had a little bit of grass, soup, and bread on it.

The meal that wasn’t enough to eat became poorer compared to the beginning. Dayeon just moved on without saying anything, and it seemed to be natural now.

It clearly seemed that there was malice and discontent or someone ate voraciously in the middle.

“Huh……”

Disgust and perverse feelings came up rather than sorrow.

In order to survive, you had to show off talents that you didn’t have.

If you knew how to write Korean characters, ‘it’s an ancient alphabet from a distant continent.’ It felt like you had to sell medicine while demonstrating.

It had to prove its usefulness.

See. It was the same world after all.

Dayeon always struggled to live.

Born not good at anything and always trying hard, she couldn’t help evaluating her continuous effort and inconsequential results.

There were always people in the world who did better than her even if she did more than she could. When it was difficult to achieve, she was immediately squeezed back.

In fact, it’s about the same from here. Their abilities are a little bit better than mine, and when I compare myself to other people’s lives, I’m frustrated and disappointed.

Those series of days when you pretend to have something, pretend to know something, pretend to be good at something. You wrap yourself up in a plausible way, and secretly feel a sense of inferiority.

No, do I have to live here like that again?

Trying to meet the standards here and catch their attention?

It was quick to feel bored and tired.

Dayeon gave up adapting at some point and became extremely lethargic.

She laid on her bed, didn’t get out of it, and often skipped meals.

It seemed as if all her will and passion had been exhausted in the world she lived before. She was uninterested in all work, and shortly became sluggish and indolent.

And at night, the tears came for no reason.

Among the courtesans in the palace, the rumor spread with wings, saying that she was suffering from a mental illness.

Perhaps there was no identification available here to diagnose her symptoms.

The emotions and climate here were different from the New World, and she wondered if the disease had penetrated her mind. She used her elegant vocabulary to speak against her situation as gossip, when in fact, her symptoms were nothing special.

Seven out of ten modern workers weren’t sick.

It was just common depression.

“Skips meals and haven’t been out of bed for days?”

Upon receiving the report, the Emperor tried to ignore it.

She wasn’t worth much already. His possession of her alone will prevent the temple from attempting to make a political move.

And if she were to go back under the jurisdiction of the temple, it wouldn’t be much different.

– I’m stronger than I look, so I’ll be able to do the hard work very well.

Huh, good gracious. Reminded of what she said, the Emperor looked dumbfounded for a moment. Then he shook his head.

She is truly a useless woman.

Dayeon’s face, which briefly came to mind, quickly disappeared from the Emperor’s mind without much thought.

So a few days later, the Emperor of Altius’ encounter with Dayeon was purely a coincidence that had not been planned.

Unintentional, accidental, like fate arranged by God.

꘏꘏꘏

“…. Ms. Dayeon, Ms. Dayeon. Please wake up.”

From the beginning, the voice of the maid next to her was noisy. Dayeon frowned.

“I know, so quiet down, Marie.”

“You keep saying you know everyday and continue to lie down! If you keep lying down like that, your back will get moldy! Hurry, lilacs bloomed beautifully on the way to the West Palace. Be sure to go see it today.”

“……. Hmm, can we go tomorrow?”

“We can’t! You said that yesterday and the day before yesterday! The flowers will fall!”

With her hands on her waist, it seemed that her fierce spirit wouldn’t stop nagging until Dayeon stood up.

Dayeon sighed as if making land sink [2] and slowly raised her body.

The maid’s face brightened when she saw Dayeon getting up from bed. Dayeon’s mind was changing, so she quickly brought water to wash her face.

Her barely waking up was hard to look at.

She hadn’t washed her face for days, let alone take a bath, so her hair was a bit dirty.

Marie, who had been trying to tidy up her hair, was startled by the oil on her hand, and ran out to get a bath ready.

Inside the bedroom was dark and musty.

All the servants who had to wait by their side were silent where they were.

That was why Dayeon had not come out from her blanket in her bedroom for days.

The meal was all settled on the bed. She didn’t even eat it, and it was common that it would be as intact as it had first arrived when it left.

Anyhow, the untouched meal had even become shabby.

They didn’t supervise them and they didn’t look for them because they had no knowledge of how the palace worked and their strings fell.

Marie was a particularly friendly and weak-natured girl among the maids. She was the only young maid among them who constantly bothered Dayeon and stuck beside her.

Patience and walking on a tightrope was important in the palace, but in contrary, she was a child who was somewhat incapable of taking care of their own business.

“How is it? It’s really pretty like I said, right? Originally, there was a magnolia tree in this area until last year! The lilacs are pretty but the magnolia was also really pretty, so I don’t really know……”

“Yes, it’s pretty. But you know, I’d like to sit down.”

Dayeon cut off her chatter that was on the verge of becoming endless.

Dayeon, who had become lackadaisical and gloomy lately, thought because she was lonely, she would sometimes say the same useless things again and again.

“Oh my, you can’t sit on the ground! If you do something wrong, you’ll get skin irritation! I’ll bring you something to sit on, so wait a minute! You can’t just sit on the floor, yes?!”

“…….”

Without hearing the answer, Dayeon flopped on the ground as she looked at Marie’s distant back running.

She didn’t listen to the strong request to never sit on the ground.

It’s tiresome, it’s troublesome. Everything is just a hassle.

“…… it’s pretty.”

Spring had come and the flowers had bloomed.

Some flowers were white and some trees were green.

Nature’s vitality was too intense.

“……..”

It’s strange.

The flowers were pretty, the sunshine was warm, and they were so beautiful, but why was her heart so helpless and sad?

It was unknown.

As she leaned against a tree trunk thick enough that she could not catch her hand even if it was extended for a long time, Dayeon closed her eyes and decided to take a break.

.

At the same time.

.

Emperor Mikhail Dnar Altius was on his way back to the palace after meeting the Sarmanian envoy who had been sent to negotiate the post-war compensations.

The overlapping of the Emperor’s movements in the Imperial Palace would be quite deliberate, as they were.

There was nothing personal about the Emperor’s schedule, and those who had business were often snooping around it.

But the Emperor thought it was an unintended, precise coincidence, that she stood out at this hour on the path he was passing by.

If it’s intentional, there’s no way an adult woman would just sit carelessly on the dirt with her legs stretched out like that.

The Emperor stopped abruptly because such absurd things couldn’t be seen easily at the palace, and her pale face was pathetic as if she hadn’t received a bowl of blood.

When the Emperor stopped, a long line of servants and guards were forced to stop at the same time.

Even after receiving reports, the Emperor knew at a glance that she was unwell.

In a few months, the visibly lean face was tacky and white.

Whether she was asleep or just resting, she sat still and basked under the sunshine.

“…….”

The Emperor stopped a few steps away and looked at the scenery gazingly as if he was admiring it for a moment.

A strangely eye-catching landscape painting with warm sunlight pouring over the tired and exhausted complexion.

Chapter 3  - The Pain that Can't Kill Us

Chapter 3

In fact, the old tree, which Dayeon leaned against, was a very old tree planted by Mikhail’s grandfather, the 23rd Emperor.

He was an emperor with a practical way of thinking, the dead man was just a dead man, and the tree was a tree, but he never knew he would see a person use the tree comfortably with its back.

“Unbelievable.”

What the hell are you doing on the ground?

The Emperor looked at Dayeon begrudgingly.

What’s this, you’re half asleep.

With a rather blank face, Dayeon looked at the landscape before her.

Are you dreaming?

When she opened her eyes, a group of people suddenly emerged before her.

And in the middle of it was the face of the Emperor, whom she hadn’t seen in three months.

“It’s a bit frivolous to just sit on the dirt.”

However, the Emperor also flopped down on the bare floor, with his words and actions not corresponding at all.

He seemed to have no clue on what the problem was.

As a result, the number of frivolous people in the palace increased from one to two.

The knight guard who was accompanying him tried to find a seat to take off the cloak, but the Emperor only waved his hand as though it was annoying.

The Frivolous 1 slightly stared at Frivolous 2, and Frivolous 2 asked Frivolous 1.

“Why, do you have anything to say?”

Can she say it?

Dayeon worried for a second.

“You’re….. uhm…… blocking the sunlight.”

The servants who followed the Emperor lowered their frightened faces.

What’s wrong with her? They said she was sick but it turns out she was just crazy.

However, the Emperor, who was surprisingly crude, didn’t care and answered by snorting.

“Why don’t you sit aside?”

Uh, rather than that, you should just go to the way you’re going……

But she has not yet given up her life to that extent, so Dayeon moved her body slowly with a deep sigh.

It was a long sigh that drew the annoyance deep down the stomach into full power.

“Leave it alone, it’ll take a long time.”

The Emperor was very irritated and sat down.

He seemed insane, the innocent servants felt sorry.

In the distance, Marie was dashing too.

She was running around carrying a blanket bigger than her own, and when she saw Dayeon, she was about to shout something, and she squinted for a moment when she saw a group of people next to her.

And at that instant, she froze.

The rug from which she dropped, spread beautifully on the floor far away from the Emperor and Dayeon.

“Does the meal here not suit your taste?”

Asked the Emperor with a slight frown.

“I heard you don’t eat very well.”

“……Of course not, I just skipped a few times when I didn’t have much appetite.”

Dayeon was a bit embarrassed and hesitant because she didn’t think the Emperor would know such details.

The mental state of depressed patients should be treated very carefully and with great importance. They are more delicate than they thought, and they cannot predict when and where the wound will explode.

Of course, the Emperor of Altius was a man who was much more talented in smashing and oxidizing someone’s mentality into the dust of the universe, rather than being careful and pretty, as if dealing with fragile glass.

He was speaking more moderately than usual, but nevertheless, he pointed out the kind of things he would not have done for someone suffering from depression.

“What have you done here? You’ve been lying on the bed.”

It wasn’t exactly wrong.

It’s no wonder she got choked up since those were enough words to touch a delicate patient’s mind.

Thus, deep-rooted resentment has again accumulated in the mind.

꘏꘏꘏

After the flower viewing, Marie could not tell why Dayeon was particularly down.

At the time, she didn’t look bad or look good, but strangely, she has since tried to stay out of bed more than ever before.

The people of the New World have such quiet and delicate spirit.

It was Marie’s honest appreciation.

And at the same time, they also have such a dirty sense of hygiene.

Even a strange smell was now vibrating in the room.

This is because Dayeon didn’t like opening the window and ventilating it, saying she wanted  it to stay quiet.

She wanted to be alone as much as possible. She refused to be next to anyone except when someone paid a visit.

With the blanket wrapped around her body, she was like an untouchable plant rooted in the bed.

They figured she’d be bored because she wasn’t doing anything, she did read the illustration book that they lent from time to time. Still not getting out of bed, lying on one side and putting the book in that direction.

When a person doesn’t move at all, and see it release its spirit, ‘Ah, I don’t like this, I need a phone……..’ they mutter useless things.

Most of the time she didn’t eat properly, but sometimes she found food first.

She even often ate the dropped crumbs on the bed, and while eating bread and meat, she muttered ‘Kimchi…….’ in a dazed and gloomy expression.

For the first time in 32 years, when the Goddess Hernia brought down the revelation, Marie was delighted to be assigned as a maid of the Imperial Palace. To serve Dayeon up close.

Marie was also a steady and faithful believer of the Goddess who gave donations regularly.

It was a thrill to meet the noble and holy one who came down from the New World.

However, there was nothing new to experience with the expected nobility and sanctity.

After encountering the unconventional lifestyle of the new world, where most of her diet is on the bed, Marie is deeply confused about her identity.

She was a maid. She came into the palace to serve a master, but it seemed like she didn’t need her help at all.

As if she wouldn’t even use up unnecessary energy, she seemed to be moving at a snail’s pace, only within a range of 30 centimeters a day.

And most of all……

‘In the New World, only lazy people live without washing up like that.’

Marie’s eyes were dark and moist as she looked at the thickly tteok-baked1 back of Da-yeon.

Her faith was rapidly fading.

꘏꘏꘏

Mikhail Dnar Altius, the 25th Emperor of Altius, was not originally the type of man who spoke beautifully and kindly.

Moreover, he was an emperor.

It was a position where he didn’t have to talk to others.

His specialty was to beat the ministers with words.

As the status and character combine, sometimes gangsters weren’t also like this, the middle-aged chamberlain thought profanely.

A competent and handsome but sometimes a very tiresome boss.

It was an honest assessment of the Emperor, who has been supporting him for nine years since he took the throne at the age of 23.

Therefore, he thought the Emperor would make a harsh remark again when he heard the report about Dayeon.

If not, he figured it would be dismissed as unimportant like the other day.

“Is the Duke’s request for an interview after the cabinet meeting?”

“….Yes, that’s right.”

The chamberlain missed the chance to answer the Emperor’s question right away.

The Emperor’s behavior was totally unexpected.

“I’d better stop by before then. Let’s go.”

Not only the chamberlain didn’t expect it, but even all the expressions of the knight guards and the servants who were following him seemed to have disappeared.

And half an hour later, the Emperor had a very shocking experience in his life.

The Emperor stopped by Dayeon’s palace to visit the apparent sick person because they said she wasn’t feeling well.

He had very little thought of threatening not to make a scandal until his visit to the temple and the public opinion grew calmer.

But when he reached Dayeon’s place, the Emperor completely forgot his original intentions.

There were very few people inside the palace.

When he opened the door of the bedroom, which was closed tightly, the room that was revealed completely lost his sense of time.

No matter how well the curtains were drawn, it was dark in the room because not a ray of light leaked in.

The Emperor doubted his eyes.

When the door was opened and a large number of strangers appeared, a large caterpillar, which was rooted on the bed, still wriggled up in the dark with a blanket.

But the sight was so terrifying that one of the servants was hooting! He breathed in.

As the view slowly revealed itself in the darkness, the scene inside the room was even more disastrous.

There was no telling when the maid last cleaned.

This moist dust and humid air could never be seen as a room for anybody to live in.

Altius citizens were generally belligerent and outgoing.

They had great significance in training the body, and were owners of a common sense culture that started the day early and made diligence a virtue.

Furthermore, the people of the Imperial Palace had a sense of beauty and a thorough sense of cleanliness that had been around for a long time.

The room itself was amazing to them but……

The bigger problem was the smell.

The young emperor was greatly shocked that in the woman’s room, even in the Imperial Palace, could smell homelessness.

No matter how shocked he was, the Emperor’s first remark made to Dayeon, who turned into a caterpillar in the blanket, was:

“Are you crazy?”
