It was a hot summer day. A boy was laying by the sea shore, listening to the calming waves and feeling of the warm summer sun on his skin.

"Kim Taehyung!"

A big splash of water hit Taehyung's dry skin. Causing him to sit up with a jolt.

"Park Jimin!" He cried. "What was that for?"

Jimin, the boy who splashed Taehyung (who was also his best friend), giggled. "You weren't paying attention that's why, dumbass"

Jimin and Taehyung has been best friends ever since Jimin moved in the house next door to Taehyung's 8 years ago. They were inseparable ever since. They often hang out at the beach which was only a bike ride away from their homes. They visit almost every day during the summer vacation.

"And why would I need to pay attention to you?"

Taehyung remarked, shaking the water off him.

Jimin smirked and pointed at something behind him. Taehyung's eyes followed to whatever Jimin is pointing to.

He was pointing at the Lifeguard chair. Taehyung squinted to see who was seated...

It was none other than hot as **** jeon jungkook.

Also known as the person who Taehyung is very gay for. Taehyung immediately felt himself blush.

Taehyung had a crush on Jungkook for quite a long time now. Taehyung had never talked to him though, even if they go to the same highschool. Taehyung was usually a confident and outgoing kind of person (he was a part of their school's theater club and was a good actor so he really should be confident), but that isn't the case when it comes to boys he like.

Who wouldn't have a crush on Jungkook? He's extremely good looking... a gentleman who's got a dangerous side. He's talented as hell. Taehyung couldn't think of anything he couldn't do. He can sing and dance well, he has a talent for art, and he was an ace at every single sport he tried especially swimming (hence why his side job was being a lifeguard).

Everyone, girls and boys alike, would give ANYTHING to be his boyfriend. Strangely tho, the boy hasn't dated anyone and isn't really interested in anyone (or at least Taehyung thought so).

"Soooooo....?" Taehyung faced Jimin again. "What about him?"

"It's your time..." Jimin said. "...for you to talk to him."

Taehyung shook his head. "HELL NAH! You know I can't do that."

Jimin rolled his eyes. "You CAN. You just WONT because you're a fcking coward."

Jimin continued to speak. "Anyways, I have the perfect plan for you..."

Whatever the plan was, Taehyung sure wouldn't do it. But he was curious to hear what Jimin has came up with. "Ok..? What's the plan exactly?"

A smirk appeared in Jimin's lips. "It's easy, Tae... And you can finally put that acting skill of yours to good use..."

"I have a bad feeling about this. "Taehyung murmured.

"AY! Here me out! All you have to do is to swim over there... And pretend you're drowning or you need help or something." Jimin explained.

Tae raised an eyebrow and gave his friend a confused look, although he had a feeling what Jimin would say next. "And what would I gain if I do that?"

Jimin: "What would you gain? The lifeguard's attention of course!"

Tae: "What?!"

Jimin: "Come on Tae! Don't you want to be rescued by Jeon Jungkook?"

Wow, first chapter. I haven't written anything in so long so don't expect this story to be that good.

If you guys spot any mistakes, feel free to correct me so I can improve. (There's bound to be mistakes since I didn't re-read this chapter... Hehe)

Taehyung stared at Jimin.

He only had three words for this. "What. The. ****."

"It's a good plan! I'm such a genius for coming up with such a good idea..." Jimin said proudly.

Taehyung wanted to slap Jimin to tomorrow so bad. "YOU CALL THAT A GOOD IDEA?? JIMIN! THAT'S JUST FUCKING RIDICULOUS."

Jimin: "But this is your chance! You'll finally get his attention! Then once you're in his arms you can finally feel his abs-"

Tae: "-and what? Make a fool out of myself? And FEEL HIS ABS?! THE HELL?"

Jimin: "says the person who often tells me about his gaydreams of feeling kook's body against him..." (A/N: I have no idea what I'm typing)

Tae: "I'm not doing it. This is fucked up... Nuh uh"

Jimin: "If you're not doing it... I will."

Jimin's last words made Taehyung stop complaining. Taehyung had always suspected that Jimin also feels attraction towards Jungkook and knowing his best friend well he knew Jimin was serious when he said he will do it.

Or was he only threatening him? After all, Jimin is too kind to do that to Taehyung.

Or is he?

ARGH. Damn it.

"F-fine... I'll do it." Taehyung sighed. Reluctantly giving in to Jimin.

"YESSS!" Jimin exclaimed. "You won't regret doing this, trust me bro."

"Uh-huh. I sure won't." Taehyung said sarcastically.

What has he dragged himself into?

Taehyung reluctantly dipped into the salty sea water. "Are you sure this would work? I mean... I'm a bit decent at swimming so won't anyone suspect that I'm just acting?" Tae asked.

"Umm... I'm sure no would suspect a thing. You're a pretty good actor so I'm sure you'll convince kook that you really need his help..." Jimin answered as he dragged Taehyung into the deeper part of the beach. "Well... This is as far as my short legs could take me. You go ahead and go over thereeeee."

Taehyung sighed loudly. He couldn't believe he was actually going with Jimin's bizarre plan.

"Break a leg!" Jimin cried. "But don't actually break a leg and actually drown or else you'll REALLY need the lifeguard's help!"

If Taehyung didn't need his arms to swim he would have face palmed right now.

When Taehyung reached the deep-enough-for-a convincing-acting-like-drowning-but-not-deep enough-to-literally-drown level, he paused to think.

Ok, how do you act like you're drowning in the first place?

Taehyung is seriously considering giving up and going back to the shore to tell Jimin that his plan is shit.

But he's here now isn't he? There no turning back...

After a few seconds of rethinking his worst life decision, Taehyung started thrashing around the water, hoping that his acting is convincing enough. He even titled his head up and pretended to be gasping for air for extra dramatic effect.

"HELLPPPP MY FRIEND IS DROWNINGGGG" Taehyung could hear Jimin scream from the short. He had to control himself not to cringe because Jimin's acting was as bad as his stupid plan.

From a far Taehyung could see Jungkook getting off from the lifeguard chair and was on his way to rescue him.

Taehyung almost choked on the water when he saw Jungkook take off his shirt.

Well shit.

Taehyung continued his acting. He could see Jungkook swimming closer to him. Taehyung closed his eyes, for he fear that he'll scream like a girl once he'll see Kookie up close.

Tae felt a muscled arm wrap around him. Pulling him close.

Oh god... Oh god.. Oh god... Could he drown for real now?

His body feels toned and muscular and manly. Yet his skin... His skin was very smooth. They were so close to each other and Taehyung was so tempted to run his hands down the lifeguard's chest.

Get yourself together, Tae. You're supposed to be pretending that you drowned.

I can feel The second hand embarrassment as I was writing the first parts of the chapter...

"AHHHH TAEHYUNG" Tae heard Jimin say. "YOU'RE SAFE OH GOOOODDDD. OH WAIT, IS HE BREATHINGGGG?"

Oh man... That was the worst acting ever.

"His pulse seems to be fine..." Says a voice which Taehyung assumed was Jungkook's.

Oh man... That was the most angelic voice ever.

Oh wait shit. He found out that I'm fine.

"I DONT THINK SOOOOOO. I THINK HE NEEDS CPR!" Jimin said.

Awesome. Wow. That's totally not obvious.

Note the sarcasm.

Jimin voice sounds so annoying and fake Taehyung wants to strangle him and say "bitch! That's not how you act!"

But of course he can't... He was supposed to act like he just drowned.

"Like I said, his pulse is fine. And he's breathing and heart beat is fine well. So CPR wouldn't be necessary." Jungkook said again. He tapped Taehyung slightly. "Taehyung? Can you hear us?"

Taehyung took this as an opportunity to "wake up". He opened his eyes slowly, his sight was greeted with Jungkook's handsome face. He looks so much better up close.

On second thought maybe Taehyung really did need CPR, because Jungkook took his breath away.

"Helllllloooooo? I'm still here!" Jimin cried, snapping Taehyung back to his senses. Jimin coughed. "You two are staring at each other... For like... A minute now..."

"Oh" Taehyung instantly blushed. Did he really just got lost looking at Jungkook? How embarrassing!

"I uh... I'm glad you're safe Taehyung." Jungkook said, shyly.

Wait... "You know my name?" Taehyung asked. His crush knows his name... He has to be dreaming.

"Of course I do. You're in every single play we had in school... Not to be creepy or anything..." Jungkook looked down and Taehyung could have sworn he blushed.

Damn, he's so cute when he's blushing. Taehyung wouldn't have thought that Jungkook gets flustered easily.

"Ahh ok." Taehyung nodded. "Say... Wouldn't you like to join Jimin and I in the snack bar? Rescuing me must be tiring..."

Ok... That was kinda lame, but Taehyung was surprised by his sudden confidence to say that. Now hopefully Kook will say yes to his invitation...

"Oh. Sure!" Jungkook answered. "I would love to! I mean... It's almost my break time anyways and I'm pretty hungry. You'll go ahead and I'll catch up with you guys in a bit."

Taehyung chuckled. "Alright. See ya later Jungkook."

As Taehyung and Jimin were walking to the snack bar...

"Ok, you two totally forgot about my existence again." Jimin whispered. "BUT FINALLY! YOU FINALLY HAD TO GUTS TO TALK TO HIM."

"That's because your existence isn't worth paying attention to." Taehyung snickered, ignoring the other things that Jimin said.

"You're meannnn." Jimin whined. "If it wasn't for my plan you wouldn't be talking to him right now so you better thank me."

Tae: "Nope"

Jimin: "C'mon!"

Tae: "Nope"

Jimin: "At least please treat me an ice cream

cone."

Tae: "Nope"

"Pleaseeeeeee" Jimin says in a child-like voice, complete with puppy dog eyes.

Tae has taken all his will power not to cringe at his friend. "Ok Pabo. But you'll be the one to go order it in the snack bar because I'm lazy"

"Yay! Ok! THANK YOU TAEHYUNG!" Jimin squealed

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Ok, just please stop acting like a child"

Jimin's POV but it's still in third person

Taehyung handed Jimin the money to buy 3 ice cream cones. Jimin happily took the money and went to the counter.

The man on the counter had pale skin, vibrant blue hair, and a bored expression on his face.

Jimin's gay senses immediately thought that the man was cute.

"Hey cutie~" Jimin said in a sexy voice (or at least he tried to sound sexy). "3 ice cream cones please"

The man ignored him and fetched the ice cream from the ice box thing.

"Ahhh... You're a cold one aren't you? Well I'm hot so I know how to make you melt~" Jimin wiggled his eyebrows.

The man glared at him and handed him the ice cream.

Ok, this guy is a tough one. Jimin thought.

"Well this ice cream must be sweet, but you must be sweeter~ Oh! I'm Jimin by the way. What's your name, cutie?"

Still no reply. So Jimin decided to stay until the man replies.

The man grunted, getting annoyed of Jimin's presence. "Would you please leave? I'm trying to do my job here..."

"Not without you telling your name first." Jimin smiled cheekily.

The man rolled his eyes. "And why would I tell a random stranger my name?"

"But you know my name! It's unfair if I didn't know yours." Jimin said.

The man sighed. "Suga. My name is Suga. Now please get lost."

Jimin smiled, showing his perfect teeth to Suga.

"OK SUGA! IT WAS NICE MEETING YOU CUTIE!!" He said, as he walked away.

"Well... it WASNT nice meeting you..." Suga murmured to himself.

He chuckled. He gotta admit, even tho the guy was annoying as hell he was kinda cute

"Well... Maybe a bit"
