June's pov

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to June! Happy birthday to you!"

At last I turned 19. My parents love me to the star and back because I'm their only daughter. I have accomplished all my education and now I will represent as Rose Couture's Ceo.

My parents suddenly interrupted my thoughts "Dear, I know we have already gifted you your dream as being the Ceo, but now we have another unique gift. We know that you have accomplished everything, so we gifted you with your engagement with Kevin right now at your birthday party. It's not only our wish but also Kevin's parents wish to see you and Kevin married. Kevin's mom has cancer , so we didn't want to delay it. Your wedding will be held tomorrow."

I was completely blank and couldn't take all of that. Especially Kevin, no way! I couldn't refuse as well because I had sympathy towards his mother. Let's see where this will take me!

My mom took me upstairs to get me properly ready. She even applied dark red lipstick on me and did a nice fishtail braid at the back. For some reason I was feeling nervous even though I didn't like Kevin. Btw I know Him from childhood but we were never friends and we never talked to each other, by his personality I knew he was cold hearted and I even heard rumours of Him being a gang leader and having one night stands. He is a year older than me and a little more mature than me. We are both from wealthy families.

I came downstairs and my father tapped his glass to get everyone's attention. "May I have your attention. Today is a very special occasion. It's not only my daughter's birthday but also her engagement with Kevin Mendes."

And there came Kevin out of the crowd; one foot tallr than me, more muscular in a fancy white suit. For the first time I actually fell for his looks. He comes towards me in an elegant manner. He stands beside me and we exchange rings. The rings are cute couple rings. But I can notice from his body behaviour that he doesn't give a damn about this engagement. I mean he doesn't even look at me! The guests clap and suddenly start shouting kiss! I panic and now Kevin is looking at me. None of our parents mind but I do! He pulls me close and says, "After Marriage you'll regret it." He reaches my lips before I respond. I actually didn't mind this kiss. It was sweet and I wanted to kiss him again but then I remembered his words and I took his hand and dragged him to a nearby room, while everyone were enjoying.

"Why did you agree to marry me? You could've said no." I said.

"Why did you agree to marry me?! Your so stupid!" He replied.

I didn't like this coming so I changed the topic.

"I think I should go." I felt so stupid for saying that. But instead he pinned me on the bed and replied "Never mess up with me! Not even after marriage, otherwise I'll give you punishment!"

I don't know why I said this but I responded "What's my punishment?"

He suddenly started kissing me and didn't stop. Our lips were tuning and for some reason I was enjoying this. Before he could go deeper, He got off and left the room. It was kinda disappointing.The party ended after an hour and I kept feeling my lips and remembering that moment... I suddenly realized that tomorrow is my wedding!

Kevin Pov

I was hurt and angry. From the past years, June never talked to me and now that she did, she talked rudely. Since I was young, my parents prepared me to marry her, but didn't consider my feelings. Not only that they are my step parents. I was adopted and my parents were killed and only one evidence was found. There was only one special gun found which belonged to the Cortez. I always wanted to revenge on them so I didn't hand in the evidence and now that time has come. I did have a soft corner for June but after my parents death, it was gone. June wait for me. . .

June pov

Today is the day. Although I traveled abroad for a while, sometimes I think my parents are very different. Anyways, since the morning there are preparations going on and I have 3 hours till my wedding. My mom called hairstylists and special makeup artists. And now I am crowed by 7 people who are styling me. And of course my dress. It is a strapless red gown. I didn't want to wear a white dress.

After 3 hours...

I didn't realize how 3 hours went by, and now I am coming toward my husband. After yesterday I still have a little fear for him. He is wearing a different white suit today and is looking quite handsome. I did agree that I have a crush on him.

We exchanged vows and agreed for being husband and wife. Now it was time for the kiss. Instead he gave me a kiss on the cheek and whispered "not so fast, my dear wife." It gave me the chills and I shivered a little.

My parents packed my suitcase beforehand. I reached Kevin's mansion. only he lived in it, with a lot of servants and bodyguards.

June's pov

I am staying in Kevin's room. I'm done unpacking and have changed into my pj's. Kevin was gone right after dropping me off at home. The servants left right at 6 pm and right now it was 9 pm. I was really hungry, so I decided to cook instant noodles, since that is the only thing I can cook. He didn't come back so I decided not to wait. Afterwards I started reading a romantic novel while listening to music because I wasn't tired and Kevin still didn't come yet. I don't know how but i started dazing off to sleep right on the couch.

I saw me and my parents in a van. We were running away from someone. Not only that, there was Kevin and his parents in there as well. I was 2years old and Kevin 3. Our car crashed. Our parents were fighting with someone and Kevin hurt his head. Suddenly Uncle Lin came and picked us up and carried us away. And I saw our parents get shot.

"Noooo!!!" I suddenly woke up from my nightmare. I saw the room remain the same as yesterday so I knew that Kevin wasn't at home. My nightmare were from my past. Uncle Lin raised me and Kevin up in Italy until he sent Kevin at age 15 to United States for further study and uncle Lin took me to London. After that I don't remember what happened to Kevin but Uncle Lin brought me back a year ago to my parents. Although after that accident, I don't remember my parents faces, I sometimes doubt if they are my real parents.

Kevin's pov

"Hey there handsome," a lady approaches me at the club. I'm a heavy weight, so I'm still sober. I'm not going back to June tonight. I'm also not in the mood. "I'm not interested today," I replied. Suddenly my secretary AKA my best friend, Keith, came. The lady left. "Bro, how's June?" "Can u stop calling her name. Do u think it's a joke?" I said.

"Ok, I was just being a bit humorous. Anyway I don't think ur going home tonight so why don't u stay over at mine?" "Sure," I said.

I couldn't sleep the whole night thinking about my parents death. I bet she's mad at me for abandoning her.

I'm happy that he didn't come back home. So I decided to go shopping and clubbing today with my friends.

"Yo Franz, do u and max wanna go shopping and clubbing with me today?" "Yeah sure, why not." "See u later." They r my childhood friends and understand me quite well. They r dating right now but they don't make me feel like I'm the third wheel.

"Hi, what's up Max and Franz?" "Cool, how r u June?" Asked Max. "What happened with your marriage life? Did he bully you?" Asked Franz. "No worries guys, I feel alone and u guys didn't even come to my marriage. Anyways lets shop clothes to wear for tonight. U guys know I never wear the same dress." "Yeah, let's go."

We were shopping and a dress caught my eye.

"Perfect, I will buy this!"

It is 9pm And we entered the club. "Who will you pick on today?" Asked Franz. I was know for seducing a guy for fun but dump him when I left for home. I did it for fun. "Maybe a playboy like that one in the black." "Ooh he's hot." Said Max. He was drinking. So I approached him and was shocked to see his face!

June was shocked to see Kevin's stepbrother, also her ex, Leo. Leo and June stared at each other for 2 minutes. Ever since Leo left June, June forgot how to love someone. Suddenly Leo asked "long time no see. Are u here to seduce someone today?"

"Long time no see Leo. I am here to have fun." June always picked on the first guy she wants, but now she approached Leo and didn't know what to do.

"Am I the guy? It doesn't matter to me, I will happily come with u." Leo said smirking.

"Will you tonight?" June was nervous but in her heart she was confident. After all Leo was the one who left her.

Kevin is at the same club and has been listening to Leo and June's conversation. He approaches them.

"Leo did you meet my wife? Her name is June Mendes. June that is my stepbrother. And Wifey would u mind to accompany me?"

"See u later Mrs.Mendes."

"See you later" June stared remembering their days back in high school. Their relationship lasted a year.

Kevin took her hand and led her to the vip room. After closing the door he pushed her to the wall and trapped her between his arms.

"If you're really interested, try it on me. If u satisfy me, I will give u anything u want."

June wanted to be free. "Divorce." She thought it would be alright since they're husband and wife. She only played with boys for fun but she never slept with them.

"Pinky promise me." They twirl their fingers and pinky promise.

Kevin is admiring her at this moment and forgets all about his revenge.

He kisses June on her lips with passion as his hands gently move from her shoulder to her waist and carries her to the sofa in the room. He lies her down while on top of her. They kick off their shoes. June is out of breath and so is Kevin. Kevin makes wet kisses down her neck to her shoulder while June moans. June is taking off his jacket, then his tie while Kevin is zipping down her dress. June is desperate and rips off his shirt. They kiss harshly as if they are really desperate for each other. Kevin has his one hand caressing her cheek while the other gently reaching her waist. June touches his abs and Kevin moans while her hands travel up to his chest and around his neck. Kevin bites her lower lip and so June makes room for Kevin's tongue to enter. This lasts through out the whole night.

Kevin wakes up because of his phone's ringtone. He notices June wrapped up in her arms covered with his coat.

"Oh shit! How can I forget about my revenge." He now knows that they didn't do this without any reason. This was love.

His phone starts ringing again and he picks his phone;

"Mr. Mendes, the snake gang have come to this city. What should we do? " the snake gang is Uncle Lin's gang but June doesn't know this. Kevin knows and they are enemies because Kevin knows that Uncle Lin wants Kevin's money, property, and his place as ceo. But he doesn't know what secret uncle Lin is hiding from him and June. Uncle Lin paid money to Kevin's step parents to adopt him. June doesn't know anything about this.

"Arrange my meeting with him."

"Ok sir."

Kevin takes out piece of paper and writes, "you were not satisfying enough" he then asks his bodyguards to bring his extra clothes from his car. He leaves June and goes to his meetings at the office.

June wakes up and reads his note.

"Wth, how can he do this to me!" But she suddenly remembers last night that they were desperate for each other and it suddenly occurs to June that she has fallen for him. "I think I love him." She then dresses up in get dress and puts Kevin's coat on and heads home.

She wears black ripped jeans with a yellow crop top and wants to go for a drive, of course with her yellow jaguar. Kevin's cars are separate and June's cars are separate. But when she opens the door, she sees Leo.

"What are doing here?!" Asks June

"I'm here for you. Now do u wanna come with me for a drive."

"Why with you? U can't force me. Anyways I'm supposed to be your sister-in-law. Now let me go."

"If u don't come with I will tell him that we were in a relationship and that I also slept with you."

"Why r u lying?"

"Do u think he will believe u? U have no choice but to come with me."

June is in love with Kevin and doesn't want him to know about Leo's lies. So June goes with Leo and Leo drove them to the beach. Meanwhile Kevin asks Keith if June's at home. Kevin finds out that June went with Leo. Kevin immediately tracks them down and reaches the beach. He sees them sitting in Leo's convertible car. As he's approaching them, he sees June and Leo kissing?!?!!
