When Lunar Pheonix wakes up as a noble girl named Mizuki Fujiwara and is stuck in between the war of demons and demon slayers, who's side will she choose?

Most importantly, Will, she can save the characters who sacrificed themselves for the demon-slaying corps?

I was thinking a lot about Mizuki's demon form and didn't sleep all night because I was designing her different forms and finally picked a suitable one...My sketches look like crap or I would've shown them here (should I use them?)

APPEARANCE:

DEMON FORM (normal):

Mizuki looks like a young woman with fair skin, visibly large, prominent fangs, and long, sharp, stiletto nails with ombre fading to black color at the end where they point. Her hair is long, black, and wavy. It reaches just below her thighs. She mostly dresses in black to show respect for all the people who died in the massacre, her everyday clothes consist of a black Ao Dai. She ties her front hair at the back of her head with a golden hairpin that has two ribbons, Leaving two mismatched (one long and one short due to sunlight) strands of hair framing her face.

DEMON FORM (awakened):

In her demon form, Mizuki has a curvaceous figure and ferocious personality. Her hands and feet turn black and ombre fading to her usual, pale skin color because of the wisteria poison (ch: sinful people), while Some cracks on her skin are seen near her right eye. Her hair turns red from the tips ombre fading to their usual color, her right eye is partially covered by her hair. Her nails and fangs grow longer and her eye color changes to citrine, with cat-like slits in between. She also can regenerate faster than Muzan or upper moons but only for a limited time. Her powers are also limited and can be used when used under special, certain circumstances. for eg: She needs to drink more blood, eat more, sleep more, etc to use her powers.

A/N: IDK what the Sengoku era looks like and Google is not helping, I mean... it's helping but I would like to go into the details. Because I always like to make the reader feel like they are actually living in that era.

You wake up suddenly, and the birds are chirping outside. As usual, you are too lazy to wake up early. Besides, it's dark outside and it's cozy under the blanket you think to yourself.

You tossed and turned for some time, unable to sleep. There were noises out that made it impossible to sleep, so you get out shivering and quickly put on your long haori, taking a look at your surroundings as you always did, it was a simple, spacious room with luxurious, old-styled furnishings and wall hangings.

You fold your Futon and keep it away. You open the shoji and look outside, yawning. But something else was about it that made it unique today.

Tents and pillars were established and the garden was filled with more and more flowers. Everything was decorated.

It was so beautiful. You walked into the lawn and sat down near a pond with a sakura tree over it. It was s-

You heard footsteps.

A moment later an elderly woman came towards you with her hands full of colorful clothes, you stood up

"Mizuki! You woke up just in time!! Go give this to your sister for me, will you?" she asked.

Without even waiting for your response, she burdened you with the traditional uchikake and some pieces of jewelry, and an enormous headset.

Tamayo was getting married.

"Fine. W-Where is she?" you tried to sound as much as casual.

"You don't know? She's obviously in her room, are you stupid or what?" the lady scolded.

"Oh, I thought that she would be in getting ready in the garden," you said and immediately you cursed yourself for doing so.

This lady was already strict with you, and you just made her angrier.

A garden, seriously??

"No- she changed her plans, she thought that her future husband will see her there," she said curtly, you couldn't believe that that lame guess of yours worked.

"Mizuki, your elder sister is getting married and, It's time for you to get married too, your dad and I already chose a groom for you,"

"WHAT?!?!?!" you yelled. You just came here. You can't get married already!

"But mom!!!" you started to complain.

"You are going to meet the groom day after tomorrow!! Mizuki,

You know that we always wanted to get you and your sister married since you both were 13 years old, You can't break a tradition that has been followed for ages!! You are being nothing but a burden on both of us!! And don't start about that Yorrichi as an excuse, I called the guards back, they'll be no longer searching for him!!"

You thought of marriage with a horrified look on your face.

"He comes from a noble family and that guy is really capable and one of the most attractive men in the whole of our kingdom" her tone and behavior towards you took a 180-degree turn.

"What is his name?"

You tried to give up, there was no way a teenager can face this family...a family of royal doctors.

"I forgot...now go help your sister with these clothes," she said as she applied black paint to her teeth. you went off to Tamayo's room.

You remembered that nobles blackened their teeth in ancient times.

You weren't sure where you were going because you were busy recovering from what your mother gave you, then automatically you ended up in front of a room with colorful flowered shoji designs.

You slid open the door and saw Tamayo sitting in the middle surrounded by your four friends.

She looks pretty....except for the blackened teeth, of course, you thought, staring at a beautiful young girl of 16, she looked just like you, except for the eyes, her eyes were purple and big while yours were red and almond-shaped...

She turned around and noticed you "Mizuki! You bought my uchikake!! Thank you so much" she exclaimed in an angelic voice.

"Welcome, and change quickly, I will put the makeup on for you," you said handing uchikake to Kura, and giving some jewelry to Aika, Chiyo, and Naoki... while they were at it, Tamayo was bored and asked you

"Did mom and dad tell you that your marriage is fixed with a nobleman?"

"Hmmm," you didn't feel like saying anything.

"Don't be too sad, he is one of the best guys in our whole kingdom." She said cheerfully," and the most handsome ones too," she winked.

"Why do you all keep saying that???" you asked, annoyed.

"How old is he?" you asked

"Who?"

"T- That nobleman" you didn't feel right about this marriage.

"He's probably in his mid-twenties" she responded, "why?"

You felt uneasy. He was at least 10 years older than you, you heard that age doesn't matter but it's the medieval Japan we're talking about.

After Tamayo gets ready, you do her makeup but she is too excited that she ruined her make-up two times already.

Then you do the makeup for other girls and women from the bridal party, you were known for your beauty, doing makeup.

(you didn't use makeup it was a natural beauty💅🏻)

was so tiring till the time it was your turn to be dressed up, you just wanted to go in your everyday clothes. So getting ready took an hour and when you reached they just started doing the rituals,

The wedding continued till the afternoon, Tamayo looked pretty as a picture and her husband looked like her knight in shining armor.

You were so bored because your mom just came up to you only to introduce boys but was pretty glad when Naoki, took you by the hand after you signaled her to save you.

After the wedding, you bid your elder sister goodbye, she was going sentimental and you hated it because 1. You hated to see her cry. 2. You didn't care much about emotions, that's why your mum called you an empty shell.

After Tamayo's departure, you felt sad...but hey, she said she'll be visiting soon.

After finishing your meal, you took a walk outside to relieve you of the sadness. You wandered off to a beautiful crystal clear lake on the outskirts of the kingdom; the full moon was shining bright and was reflected on the water which was moving a little because of the light breeze. The leaves of the Sakura tree above you were swaying gently with the breeze.

Feeling relaxed, you sit down beneath the tree and rest your head against its trunk, and you were feeling sleepy

The moon was so beautiful tonight. But you were feeling sleepy-

So sleepy

DREAM

You were playing with Yorrichi and Michikatsu, well talking more like,

"Brother, what do you want to be when you grow up," yorrichi asked.

"When I grow up, I will be the greatest samurai in the world!!" Michikatsu exclaimed, flexing his muscles.

"Then I will be the second greatest samurai in the world, I will always follow your lead." he smiled; Michikatsu looked a little taken aback at his brother's remark. He snapped back to reality after yorrichi asked you what you wanted to be

"Me? I don't know...maybe a doctor?" you were uncertain about his one

"A doctor!? That's good!! We also need a doctor to cure innocent people if any get hurt," both the twins exclaimed at the same time.

"Really?" you asked. blushing. "I always thought I was useless"

"You come from a good family of doctors," yorrichi said. which made you go redder and you turned your head and covered it with your kimono's long sleeves like you were straightening your hair

Your father was in charge of taking care of your yorrichi mother, but he couldn't find a cure for her illness. And she died afterward,

You couldn't face yorrichi and Michikatsu till a week; they kept knocking at your shoji.

But everything was changed after their mother died due to the disease,

You met Michikatsu but still couldn't face Yorrichi because you liked him a lot. You just couldn't think of his face which mostly had an angelic smile, and was covered in tears. All because of your fault. You accidentally knocked down a dose of medicine meant to be for her, your father thought it was a cat.

After you heard from Michikatsu about their mother's tragic disease and why yorrichi stuck to her all the time made tears come to your eyes again,

"Where is he?" you asked tearily, hoping to tell him the truth and apologize.

"He ran away" came the astonishing reply.

"Ran away?" you could only echo.

You felt something hot trickle down your eyes. You just realized that you were crying. Michikatsu just put a comforting arm around you, still, you cried on and on, who knew if you'll ever see him again?

You tried moving a little bit.

But you couldn't.

It felt like you were trapped in an uncomfortable position. In a panic, you opened your eyes

The first thing you realized was that you were moving, not on your own but someone was carrying you.

1) half the time Mizuki didn't know what she was doing, her mind was just giving her instructions on how to move and talk. She was too numb from the excitement and nervousness of the wedding.

2) Mizuki has red eyes because, in her childhood, she ate lots of daifuku mochi, raw meat, apples (her favorite fruit), and spicy food.

3) It is a rumor that Tamayo is 4'11, she is 5'4.

4) Mizuki and Tamayo are some of the most beautiful girls in the kingdom, Mizuki is a rebel so many don't like her attitude.

5) Mizuki has a scary death stare.

6) The lake and the sakura tree spot were Mizuki's favorite, it's deep inside a forest just behind her house.

7) Yorrichi also liked Mizuki. He was hesitating to leave just because of Mizuki

8) Mizuki won't allow anyone to blacken her teeth. The teeth are blackened because the white changes it's color to yellow, but black won't, this relates to noble, who will only serve one master, and that is the king. Peasants didn't color their teeth black, as they changed masters due to certain reasons.

Someone was carrying you, it was a man. Your head was resting against his chest, it was so cold. you tried to look up but your tears blocked your view.

"Oh, are you awake now ma'am? You fell asleep at the bottom of that sakura tree and I saw some bandits around you so I chased them away and carried you"

A shiver ran down your spine.

Nothing in his kind voice would make you calm down, it was cold and kind at the same time. And it was a man's

What the hell is a man doing with you in the middle of the night?!

The man looked down at you with glowing plum red eyes with slits like snake.

You didn't know how to respond. He looked like....

An Oni (oni is demon in Traditional Japanese Folklore. The European demons are known as Akuma  )

"Oh, t-thank you, mister, I-I wasn't feeling good lately"

you wanted to kill yourself for stuttering.

He smiled, revealing a bit of his pointy teeth (fangs?) "It's okay," he said as he placed you carefully on your feet.

"where is your home? I thought I can walk you there, the burglars and thieves roam in this kingdom after night, it isn't safe for you"

It's safer with the bandits than with you.

You thought but you forced a smile "That's kind of you,"

So you walked in fear with the dangerously handsome person who saved you.

"So...what do you do?" you asked to break the awkward silence.

"hmm? I currently trade international goods"

"So you are a merchant then?"

"No, I trade because I like investigating new items from all over the world and for the kingdom, the king's service, my father is one of the ministers in the court. People like to categorize me into the list of noblemen" He said.

"I must've forgotten my manners, may I ask your name,?" he asked

"It's Mizuki Fujiwara"

"Fujiwara? A doctor of the royal court also has this surname."

"yes, he's my father," you said,

"what's yours?"

" Muzan Nakamikado," he said, bowing. Suddenly you remembered that you didn't bow while introducing yourself. All that money spent on your expensive etiquette lessons went to waste.

"Nice Name...My great-grandma told me a tale where the main character's name was also Muzan....his full name was Muzan Kibutsuji Ubuyashiki"

you remembered your granma- a sweet, lovely, and aged lady of 58. After dinner, when you and Tamayo were sent off to bed, she would come and narrate a story before you two fell asleep. Even if her story contained mythical creatures; you always beloved they were once true...back in older times.

"Really?" he said his eyes widening and face turning white " I would really like to learn more..."

"hmmm, the rumor has been passed down to our family for centuries...I don't remember most of it now but I think my elder sister Knows the whole story by heart" you made a face like you were thinking too hard to remember while Muzan gazed at you restlessly.

"Yes!" you snapped your fingers

"The story goes on like this: A sickly man is turned into a demon by a doctor, he becomes the demon lord and kills his family and the doc because he thought that the doctor made him vulnerable, he regretted his choice because he turned strong but couldn't walk in the sun and craved human flesh,"

muzan's face went paler than it already was and his eyes widened but it was too dark to see his face.

"he required the blue spider lily in order to obtain the medication to cure him and he also feared wisteria because it was the flower which was added in the medicine to transform him into a demon..." you turned to Muzan.

When you finished he sighed and looked at you, smiling mysteriously "Did you know anything about the second demon?"

You shook your head

"You should know," he said as he patted your head, "From what I know, you look a lot like her."

"oh, we're here," exclaimed when you see your magnificent house, trying to divert yourself because you were blushing.

He paused and eyed the mansion, eyebrows raised.

"You live here?"

"....Yea..?"

"Can I have a moment with your parents?"

"Of course, I'll lead the way,", you escort him inside the private meeting chambers and order the servants to inform your father.

Your mother and father entered the room. They were in their robes. Your mother looked like she was awaken from a deep sleep. Muzan stood up and bowed, your father noticed you and widened his eyes,

"Mizuki dear, where we're you? We've been worried sick,"

You could see how your father had bags under his eyes, and he was wide awake. And it made you feel guilty that

"Uh- I was taking a long walk and fell asleep at a place-" you were cut off when both your parents sighed, you loved to sleep and would sleep anywhere if you are exhausted enough,

"And when I woke up, this nobleman named Muzan Nakamikado was carrying me, said there were bandits around and then offered to walk me home while talking." You pointed towards Muzan.

You said simply while your parents looked happy, it certainly wasn't a nice feeling. it felt more like you were in trouble you can't escape

They looked at each other than you and muzan  with a happy expression. Muzan was smiling too.

"So, did you like your husband?" Your mother smirked.

You went cold.

My fucking what?

You didn't know what to think, a million thoughts were running at the same time.

"Mizuki!!" you jump back to reality. "What happened to you? Why are you so pale?!?!" dad was asking worriedly

"I-I am fine, I just surprised that someone I met shortly- nevermind" you managed to say.

You were encouraged by your parents to see off Muzan while he departed.

He took your hand, "I wanted to spend some time you, it's because I want you to be comfortable around me and if like to know more about you," he smiled, making you blush.

you can't say no to him because he one of the most well-known nobles. Shit. After a little bit of talk and rescheduling the date of marriage one year later, you calmed down.

Maybe you were overeacting, Muzan seemed like a nice person. You sigh.

"Can we meet tomorrow?" he asked, "I want to hear the end of the story,"

You hesitate.

"Y-yea, sure."

Muzan planted a kiss on your hand before he disappeared into the night

"Mizuki!!! What did you do for that young man to reschedule your wedding?"

Your mother  asked excitedly while she clung to your clothes, she was happy that you were with some guy, she almost thought you'd live your life like a loner.

Her voice was so shrill that you covered your ears, squinting in annoyance.

5 mins later you were walking down the hallway with balms in your hand

, you were still thinking about the idea to run away when suddenly you felt like someone was watching you,

you tried to shrug off the feeling but it was still there, you turned and could've sworn that you saw a pair of red gleaming eyes around the dark corner.

a chill ran down your spine.

You got yourself in trouble, again. you are tired of course. Just as you reached your room you saw a portal opening and your brother coming out of it.

¬ Facts ¬

1) Muzan did save Mizuki from bandits.

2) Three bandits who were coming behind saw Muzan eat the other bandits, so they ran away.

3) Mizuki didn't make the story up in the first place. her great-grandma from the story told the story to her and Tamayo.

4) Muzan feared that Mizuki to leak the story of his origins, so he convinced his parents to allow him to marry Mizuki.

6) Difference between Mizuki and Tamayo is that Tamayo's eyes are round and purple, while Mizuki's eyes are red and have a more almond-like shape. I mean, Mizuki's eyes have a shape similar to Dakis
