Demon Hunter

Monster

"Mother," I said as I opened my eyes.

My throat was so dry that I couldn't even speak. Everything around me is a haze. I gazed at the candlelight. It was wobbling from side to side. I noticed a woman seated near me, but everything was fuzzy.

I heard a voice unexpectedly. It was a woman's voice. Her voice was echoing in my ear.

That woman was singing a low-toned lullaby.

"Mother, is it you, mother?" I asked softly. The sound abruptly ceased, and I heard my name, "Maxilin, I am here, son."

"Mother," I said with a tremble in my voice. I have no idea what's wrong with me.

I reached out cautiously to touch her, but she was out of my reach.

"Where are you, mother?" Maxilin asked. "Oh, my beloved son, try to hold me. Please come here, "he heard the sound once more.

"Mother," Maxilin tried to stand up, but he was too weak. "Maxi, my son, Try to come here. Please follow me, " Maxi narrowed his eyes in an effort to see her face clearly, but he couldn't because everything was fuzzy. A woman in a white or blue outfit moved in front of his sight. Maxi took a few steps forward while still gripping the chair. "Mother, don't leave me," he murmured, dizzily.

I am not, my child. Kindly accompany me. "As soon as he heard it, he saw in his fuzzy vision that someone had opened the door. "Mother, please don't leave me," Maxilin pleaded.

He let go of the chair's hold and dashed behind that woman. "Mother, don't leave me. Wait." In his frail state, he shouted and followed her.

"Huf" "Huf"

In the middle of his path, he came to a standstill. "Mother, you've left me here alone once again," he murmured.

"Maxi," he heard the woman's voice unexpectedly. Maxi glanced up and looked around. It's all clear now, but he's stuck in the midst of the woods. He gazed up at the sky. A giant moon was staring at him, and a horde of deadly, voracious creatures were roaring around him.

"Son," someone touched his shoulder, and as he looked around, he saw a terrifying creature standing in front of him.

That creature grinned and said, "Hello, dear."

Story Begins.

'Slice a piece!'

"We will dominate this world, you feeble human," whimpered a monster.

Another hand fell apart on the ground as a result of the slice'. "Ahh," wailed the creature in agony. He collapsed to the ground and began crawling. He was muttering, "You're a flimsy, greedy piece of trash. You'll never be able to defeat us. "

"Really? Then let's see who wins this time. "As he stated, he slashed the monster's face into pieces with his powerful sword.

Evan yelled his name and dashed towards him.

"Maxilin."

A 23-year-old guy, 6'2" tall, pulled out his sword. His eyes were the color of the sea, his nose and lips were drawn sharply, and his hair was styled smooth back.

Evan approached him and saw his face, which was stained with monster blood. Maxilin wiped the blood from his hands and responded, "I'm OK." But this jerk wasted my time "..

"I can see it here," Evan stated.

Evan fixed his gaze on the beast. Maxilin ripped him into shreds, full of rage. However, if it has a mate, the female will not be so kind to us. It's a dragon hybrid; the male isn't very strong, but the female is extremely aggressive and deadly.

Evan sighed and reached into his heart for the gem. "Don't kill them at random, Maxilin. We need to imprison certain others as well, "Evan said.

"I don't care about his rule," Maxlin replied, as he was wiping his hand. "Don't forget about your curse, Maxilin," Evan said.

Maxlin stopped washing the blood as soon as he heard him.

Evan stated, "Maxlin, we need to figure out how to break the curse."

But Maxlin didn't pay any attention to him; he was staring at the ground in an instant. "Maxilin, I'm t-," Evan was going to say something when Maxilin put his finger on his lip and signaled him not to say anything.

"Shh".

Evan grabbed his sword and looked around as he understood his signal.

They saw a strong wind swirling around them. It had been buzzing them. But then it came to a halt. When it came to a halt, Maxilin dashed into the forest, followed by Evan. They stopped after a bit and tried to listen to the sound. However, Maxilin knelt all of a sudden.

"Ahhh"!

He knelt down and grasped his left arm around his chest. "Maxilin!" shouted Evan.

Maxilin's point of view.

Damn! This agony! Why? Why does it appear when I sense an evil spirit or a demon around me? I just can't seem to find a way out of this terrible situation. This pain is unbearable.

This pain is getting worse day by day. My heart seemed to burst at any moment. What will Evan do if this thing attacks us? I just can't hold myself up.

"Maxilin," Evan said as he held his arm. "Are you all right?" he asked.

'huf' huf'.

Maxilin nodded yes and attempted to get up. He couldn't even stand up straight. They were startled when they heard a piercing laugh.

Maxilin's Aside.

I knew it was a demon.

"Evan, get out of here," I told him. "What are you saying, Maxilin? I can't leave you alone here, "he said.

"Ahh," I groaned, clutching my chest. Evan said, "Maxilin."

"Hey, try to understand okay, "I urged, grabbing his collar. "You won't be able to face this demon. I can feel her strength, "I said.

"Maxilin, I'm not leaving you here alone," he shouted. "Just grasp my hand. I'll build a magical barrier around us. This demon will not harm us, "Evan explained.

But then we heard a girl's voice saying, "Oh really." She burst out laughing in a split second. "Evan, don't forget that I'm the one in charge here. If you try to defy my orders. I will not accept you into my team, "I said.

"You're my friend, Maxilin. Now stop pushing me away, "Evan said.

Maxilin exhaled heavily and said, "Evan, listen to what I'm saying. Please leave ".. I shouted at the top of his lungs.

Evan remained silent as I shouted. He stood up after a minute. While panting for oxygen, I gazed at him. I was shivering and sweating.

Evan began erecting the magical barrier that would protect them. "Evan, stop it!" said Maxilin. His vision began to become hazy. "Evan," he said quietly. But then something slammed against the barrier. They both lost their balance due to the strong wind.

'cough' 'cough'

"I warned you, Evan," Maxilin said. They heard her laugh harshly around them as he spoke.

"Haha!"

"Playing with young boys is a lot of fun."

"I also smell the scent of a fresh, delectable heart. I only want a tiny little bit of it. " A female voice could be heard all around them.

Evan gritted his teeth and began spelling the magical words. "Little boy, you're wasting my time. I really don't enjoy having an unwanted visitor in my place, "she stated.

"Who is this unwanted visitor? "Your friends and you," Evan yelled at the top of his voice. "We? "Are you talking about us, boy?" she said.

When Maxilin attempted to stand, Evan grabbed his hand and muttered, "Maxilin, hold on."

They were startled to hear the sound of someone's foot. When Evan and Maxilin glanced straight ahead, they noticed a woman. In the starry night, only a tall woman with long black hair was seen. She approached the barrier cautiously, looking at Evan and Maxilin with a creepy smirk. She said, "hello boys," with a chuckle in her voice. In the light of magic, they could see her. Her hair was extremely long, her eyes were bright red, and her nails were long and sharp. She glanced at them with a thirsty expression on her face.

Evan mumbled, "Pon-Pontianak." She shook her head and smiled at him. "We're safe, Maxilian. It's just a pontianak. She won't be able to break through my magical barrier, "Evan said. As soon as Maxilin heard him, he turned to face the Pontianak and stated, "No, we're not. Because she is surrounded by a formidable demon "

Pontinanak slammed her head into the magical barrier as soon as Maxilin completed his sentence.

"Damn it!"

Both Evan and Maxilin took a step back. "How can that be possible?" Evan asked. I said, "I told you to leave me alone."

Evan said, "Maxilin, it's not the solution!"

The barrier was struck once more. It began to crack.

"Maxilin, can you tell me what kind of demon this is?" Evan asked.

Maxilin knelt down unexpectedly. "Maxilin," Evan said as he held him. As I murmured, "th-the devil is me," the barrier shattered.

I noticed Evan near me, and a tall, long-haired female appeared behind him and stood in my blurry view.

I murmured, "Ev-Evan."

In an instant, I saw her push him away with her strength and lean on my face.

Maxilin's Aside.

So, is this my end?

I clutched my chest and then I heard a voice. It didn't seem like her voice this time. It's solemn and incisive. "I was expecting you, Maxilin. Now it's time for me to grab this delectable heart and drink your pure blood, "said the voice.

I stared at the Pontianak, who grinned and said, "If I offer your heart to him, my master will be happy."

As I saw that terrible, vengeful face bending down to my face, I took a deep breath and my eyes slowly began to close. However, in my hazy vision, I noticed someone grabbing her throat with a magical chain and dragging her away.

"Maxilin, maxilin," a man's voice shouted, and I lost consciousness.

right at that moment.

Wyiner called out his name. "Maxilin, Maxilin." A teenage boy of around 18 or 17 years old approached him and asked, "What should we do now, Lord Wyiner? Is Sir Maxilin all right? "

Wyner didn't say anything as he stared at his pale face, his sword beside him briefly brightening and then extinguishing.

"Lord Wyner," remarked a young guy who approached him from behind and added, "Evan is well." He had just been smacked in the head."

'foool'.

That Pontianak abruptly yelled. "You old man, how dare you hold me like this," she said. In a moment of rage, her eyes became bright red. "You're all going to die," she said. Wyiner got up and approached her, saying, "What happened to your master? Does he or she leave you alone? "

Pontianak gritted her teeth in fury. "Yean, bring this filthy monster with us," Wyiner remarked to that young man as he moved his sight away from her. Yean replied, "yes, my lord." As Yean held the magical chain, the spirit remarked, "You just have no idea what is waiting for you guys."

Wyiner came to a halt and cast a sidelong glance at her. She remarked, with a grin, "No hunters will be able to stop us, and no magic spells will ever work on us." One day, you will bend your heads to us, and no God will assist you, and that day is quickly approaching for all of you. " She started giggling like a creep as she said it.

"And that boy," Pontinank said, pointing to Maxilin. Everyone turned to stare at Maxilin's body. "And that boy will make our dreams come true," she added, laughing.

Wyiner gritted his teeth in a rage when he heard her. He instantly drew his sword and slashed her head from his body in one swift motion. "My lord," Yean murmured as he stepped back. Yean and Beneth, pick up Evan. I'll take Maxi, "he said.

"Let us handle this, my lord," Yean said. Wyiner gave him a cold stare and replied, "Do you think he'll be easy to carry?" Come on, give it a go. "

Yean gave Beneth a confused face as they grasped his hand.

It was as cold as a dead body.

They had only heard of Maxilin's situation, but this was the first time they saw him in this way.

Yean and Benneth tried but failed to move Maxilin. They didn't even bother to move him.

Yean and Benneth tried but failed to move him. Yean and Beneth let go of their grasp on him and looked down. "You're still figuring things out. However, Maxilin is not your cup of tea, "said Wyiner.

"Go help Evan," he urged, and he picked up Maxilin in a flash. When they saw him, Beneth and Yean's eyes widened. "How is it possible, brother Yean?" Beneth mumbled as he stared at Yean. Yean looked at him and nodded, meaning "no." They both let out a sigh. and walked near Evan.Wyiner entered the carriage with mexilin. He stared him in the eyes as he placed his head on his lap.

Wyiner's Aside.

You have to help yourself first, Mexilin. Or you will never be able to find the truth or your answer unless you do so.

Two horse-drawn carriages are rushing through the thick woodland route. A large moon in the sky is beaming at the carriages. Crows crowing and weird animal sounds can be heard from time to time.

'dhong' dhong'.

The sound of the church.

Wyiner walked out of the church, but in the midst of the path, the church's father called out from behind him, "Wyiner."

Wyiner stopped and turned around to face him. "Yes, Father," I said.

He said, "Xavier sent me a letter." Wyiner glanced down but didn't say anything. "He wanted to know about Maxilin," the father said. "What did you say?" I asked.

"I informed him the child was doing great," he said.

I gave him a questioning look and added, "I do not know why my brother keeps bothering you about his son, even though I constantly tell him about Maxilin." Can't he put his faith in me when it comes to his son? "

The father gave me a kind smile and added, "This isn't about this kid. Maybe he feels you keep things about Maxilin from him at times. " I remained silent and moved my sight away from him.

I said, "I'll write him a letter," After a light nod from the father, I stepped out of the church.

After a short period, two men unlocked the fort gate, allowing Wiyner to enter. He dismounted his horse and went to the Maxilin Chamber.

Wyiner noticed Evan seated next to Maxilin. Wyiner asked, "Evan, what brings you here?"

"Uncle Wyiner," Evan said, "I just came here to see him." "But, you are not in good health. You should've gotten some rest, "Wyiner said. Evan looked down but didn't respond to Wyiner.

He was hurt in the elbow and the head, and it will take time for him to recover. "Is he all okay, uncle? Evan asked. "He's been asleep for a day, and he's still sleeping."

Wyiner shut the window and drew the curtain closed. "Evan, he's all right. He'll wake up shortly, "he replied. Wyiner ignited all of the candles and turned to face Evan, saying, "You've known your friend since you were children. So don't be worried."

"I know, but following that, he also woke up in an hour or so, but this time it was too long," he said.

"Uncle, will it become worse day by day?" Evan asked.

Evan's story,

Evan and Maxilin have been friends since they were children. Evan's father was a friend of Maxilin's father. Both of them were hunters. Unfortunately, while on a mission, his father was gravely injured and died. Evan's mother passed away during his delivery. As a result of his father's death, he became an orphan. Then he was adopted by Xavier, and Maxilin and Evan began living together as brothers.

At present.

"Uncle, will it become worse day by day?" Evan asked. Wyiner pondered for a time and said, "I have no idea, Evan. Perhaps it will, or perhaps it will not. "

"What are we going to do now? We can't allow him to go through this, "Evan said. As Wyiner said, "Evan," he put his hand on his shoulder.

"Have faith in God. I'm sure he'll show him the way. Maxilin has had this trauma since he was a child, and you may know it as well. Now that he is an adult, he isn't as afraid as he once was. He will be able to overcome this obstacle on his own, "Wyiner said.

"And what about the mark on his chest?" Evan asked. "Do you know how quickly it's growing?" he asked. Wyiner stated, "Evan, we have nothing to do with that." "There was no gem or crystal that could work on him."

Evan sighed and fixed his gaze on Maxilin. "We'll figure it out one day, uncle," Evan said as he walked out of the room.

Wyiner sat in the chair, his gaze fixed on Maxilin.

Wyiner's Aside.

What if the devil's mark extended throughout your entire body? Will you become a monster, Maxilin, or will you become the devil's lord?

On ther other hand,

I heard someone calling my name, "Maxilin, Maxilin." "Who? Who is this? " I asked aloud.

I had a look around. I was standing on the shore line. I gazed up at the sky. The colors of the sky became crimson, and lightning struck many times. I said, "Who is this?" I was startled to hear a horse neighing. I turned around and attempted to see it through the fog. However, I was unable to find anything.

"Max," I heard my name again, but this time I sensed someone approaching me from behind. When I turned back, all I saw was dust flying. I was ready to grasp my sword when I realized it wasn't with me.

"My sword," I muttered as I straightened my back. After that, I noticed something about 7 or 9 feet long.

I could sense the rage in that creature's gaze as I looked into his eyes. In the fog, all I could see were his red eyes and the red eyes of whatever it was he was sitting on.

I have no idea what this is. "Max," it said all of a sudden.

I realized he was approaching me. I began walking backwards as soon as I noticed he was approaching slowly.

Where am I? I took a quick glance around. The sea's waves began to smash the beach with ferocious force.

But then I noticed a gem on the beach that belonged to my sword. When the water swept away the sand, I could see my sword clearly. "Max," I heard it said once again.

I dashed to get my sword. But I stubbed my toes on the sand and fell. As I reached my hand to grasp the sword, I felt someone grab my leg. "Leave me alone," I yelled. But as I heard his neighing, I was instantly drawn to him.

'Ahhhhh'

Maxilin sat up in his bed in a flash after opening his eyes.

He was panting heavily and gasping for breath. Maxilin wiped the sweat from his brow. Because of his sweat, his shirt was just slightly damp.

'huf' 'huf'.

I looked across at the flickering candle beside me. It was a dream. I pushed the sheet away from me and sat down on the ground.

I drank the entire contents of the jug. I stood up after drinking and walked over to the window to move the curtain.

I opened the window. A cold, gentle breeze is blowing outside, and there is a big moon in the sky. The full moon is lighting everything in its path.

Maxilin's Aside.

Was Uncle there to help me that night?Maybe he was. But I have no idea how many days I've been sleeping.

I rubbed my forehead and went to the bathroom to take a cold bath. I yanked my shirt off and stared at my chest. I touched that mark. Day by day, this mark becomes more visible. It was a little one when I first spotted it, but it has now grown to cover my entire left side of my chest.

I put my finger on the mark and started thinking about it.

I just got this mark that night, when I first saw a monster in front of my eyes. If I had truly listened to my father that night, it would never have happened to me.

I was tinkering with a little wooden sword late one night. I shared a home with my father and uncle. Mom used to live with us, but I heard she abandoned me. When I asked my father about my mother, he constantly said to forget about her. My father has always told me that my mother is a horrible person who has never loved me. But I was aware of my mother's affection for me. She always told me stories when I went to sleep, and she always made my favorite dishes for me.

But one day, I overheard my father saying that my mother had abandoned me forever.

Maxilin's father stood behind him and said, "Maxilin." Maxilin turned his gaze to his father. "Yes, father," he said.

Xavier remarked, "It's time to go to bed, boy." "But, father, "he said, rubbing his eyes," I want you to sleep with me today."

Xavier gave him a kind smile as he helped him to his feet. "Okay, son. I'm going to sleep with you today, "Xavier said. Maxilin smiled and wrapped his small arm around his father's neck.

They went to the second floor. Xavier sat Maxilin on the bed and began shutting the windows. Maxilin was staring at his father with bated breath. "Father, why do you always close the window when I get to sleep?" he asked.

Xavier said with a smile, "because it is quite cold outside." You will catch a cold. " "But, father, mother never did this while she slept with me," Maxilin said. Xavier came to a halt and peered at Maxilin. In a solemn tone, he stated, "Didn't I tell you not to talk about her at night, Maxilin? Maxilin, "she doesn't like you. "

"Father, I am sorry. If my comments have injured you, please let me know, "Maxilian remarked, regretfully looking down. Xavier let out a sigh. He drew the curtain back and took a seat next to Maxilin. "Maxilin," he murmured, putting his hand on his shoulder.

Maxilin fixed her gaze on him. Xavier remarked with a smile, "Always keep in mind, son, that there are two types of things in our world. One is good, while the other is bad. and your mother was a bad one"..

"But father, mother always stayed with me and took care of me every time," Maxilin said.

Xaiver placed his hand on his head and murmured, "The sweetness frequently turns bitter. Maxilin, don't be fooled by the lovely words. It can easily deceive you at times "..

"My dear, don't you want to be a great hunter?" Xavier asked.

Maxilin responded with a nod, "Yes, I'd like to. I want to be like my father. "

"Don't be fooled by the lovely words, "Xavier warned.

"My son, you will be better than your father. I don't want you to fall in love with the sweetest thing, like your father did, "Xavier said.

With a gentle smile, Maxilin nodded.

"Lie down on the bed now. I have something to give you, "Xavier said. "What is this, father?" Maxilin wondered as he lay in bed. Xavier stood up and walked over to his cupboard. He opened it and drew out something tall and large. "What is it, Father?" Maxilin sat up in bed, puzzled, and asked. Xavier approached him and sat next to him. He removed the black cloth and showed Maxilin.

"Father, it's a sword," Maxilin said, his eyes widening. Xavier smiled and nodded. "It's for you, son," remarked Xavier.

With his tiny fingertips, Maxilin touched the sword. The blue gem of the sword was shining.

But, there were 6th empty chambers on the sword. "Why is this empty, father?" Maxillin asked. "Maxilin, it's your great-grandfather's sword. However, after your great-grandpa passed away, some terrible monsters stole the sword. However, they took out the other six, but they were unable to take the 7th gem at that time, and then they left the sword behind. And, guess what? This blade has a hidden ability, "Xavier said.

Maxilin said, "What is it, Father?"

"When its owner is in danger, it can help him," Xavier said.

Continue....

Magic sword

"When its owner is in danger, it can help him," Xavier said.

"Really, father? Will it also help me? "Maxilin asked. "Of course," Xavier responded, "it helps you, my son."

"But how did you figure it out? This sword belongs to my great-grandfather. So, how can it help me? I am not his true owner, "Maxilin asked.

"Because this jewel has never shined since your great-grandfather died, yet this sword gleamed on the day you were born," Xavier said.

"Does that mean it's a magical sword, father?" Maxilin asked. He said, "Obviously it is." "But father," Maxilin said, touching the sword and trying to grasp it in his own hands. The sword, however, was far too hefty. "However, it is really heavy, father. I'm not sure how I'm going to play with it because my height is just half of it, "Maxilin observed.

Xavier remarked with a chuckle, "This isn't a toy, silly boy. You will use it when you are tall and big like your father. Do you get me?"

Maxilin nodded and smiled. "This is my sword, then. I'm going to hunt monsters with this sword, "he stated.

"Absolutely, you will. Now take a seat. You have a training scheduled for tomorrow, "he re-tied the sword with the black cloth and placed it in the cupboard, just as Xavier had said.

Maxilin sat on the bed, a smile on his face as he looked at his father. Xavier abruptly sighed. "Maxilin, you didn't take your shoes off," Xavier remarked. "I didn't put it off, Father. because I won't be able to tie my shoe later,'' Maxilin said.

While untying his shoelace, Xavier sat next to him and remarked, "You must learn this little technique." Or how do you bind all the monsters together? " As Xavier had stated, he took Maxilin's shoes.

"Come on, let's sleep," Xavier remarked as he extinguished the candles. He sat next to his son and tried to tell Maxilin a story. However, before beginning the story, Xavier told him, "If I'm not at home or your uncle, "Don't ever attempt to-" as Xavier was about to say, but Maxilin interrupted, "Don't ever try to open the door, right father?"

"Yeah, if you hear my voice or uncle's, you won't open," Xavier said. "I'll only open when you tell me the code," Maxilin said.

"Yes, that's my boy," Xavier said as he began his story.

at the same time, out of his house.

Evan's father, Leko, and his team were waiting for Xavier. Leko blew a whistle. This is their signal to speak out. Xavier opened his eyes as he heard the whistle. He turned to face Maxilin, who was soundly sleeping in his arms. Xavier cautiously rose from his bed and left the room. Wyiner was awaiting Xavier's arrival.

downstairs

Xavier wore his armor and armed himself with his sword and magic book. "Wyiner," he said as he walked downstairs.

"Is it a good idea to leave him alone in the house, brother?" Wyiner asked. "I don't have any choice, Wyiner." This mission is critical to us. And don't worry, Maxilin is sound asleep. "I don't think he'll wake up now," remarked Xavier. "But, brother, what if he wakes up?" Wyiner asked.

"Don't be worried if he wakes up unexpectedly. Our Maxilin is a smart boy. He will not open the door for outsiders, "Xavier said.

Wyiner's aside.

I didn't say anything when my brother remarked, "It'll be OK." But I'm not sure why my heart isn't ready to leave this little boy today. I turned back to glance up at the upstairs before leaving the home.

After a while, Xavier and Wyiner emerged and went to their team members. They made their way to the village carefully.

It's around midnight, and Maxilin is comfortably sleeping in his bed. However, he abruptly opened his eyes after hearing a sound. He sat on his bed, observing his surroundings. He murmured, "father." He didn't get a response, though. Then he made a loud call to his father.

But his voice came back to him.

Maxilin's aside.

My father left me once more. Did uncle go with him as well?

Maxilin glanced around and was ready to fall asleep on the bed when suddenly he heard the sound again. It was slamming against the window. He sat up and peered out the window once again. He couldn't see what was going on due to the curtain. However, it sounded like fluttering wings. It was constantly crashing against the window. Maxilin instantly remembers what his father told him.

'Don't open the window or the door, "he said.

So Maxilin disregarded the sound and went back to lying down, but the noise was gradually getting louder.

He sat up in bed, looking out the window.

His heart yearns to know what it is. But his mind is stopping him from doing so. He's becoming more reckless as a result of his curiosity.

As a result, his heart wins over his mind in the end. Maxilin heard his heart. So he decided to see. He grabbed the lamp and slowly rose up. He approached the curtain cautiously and stopped.

Maxilin gulped. He was eager to see, but he was also afraid. He reached out to pull the curtain, but something hit the window again, forcing it to break.

Because of the sound, Maxilin drew his hand back and took a step back. He was a bit frightened.

His hand trembled with terror, but he took a deep breath.

He murmured, "Why are you scared, Maxilin? How will you catch a monster if you're terrified now? " Maxilin breathed deeply and moved the curtain back. His eyes widened as he slid the curtain back. He noticed a blood stain on the window glass and a baby falcon flapping its wings. As soon as Maxilin realized what had happened, he placed the lamp on the table and opened the window. He carried that baby hawk who was chirping. Maxilin saw that its wings had been wounded. It seemed like someone chased it.
