Words Of Vow

Chapter One

On 12th November 1996:-

A small four-Year-old crying with streaming translucent concatenation of liquid droplets of water through the glands of his eyes, as he hiccuped trying to form words out of his small mouth to try to stop the young girl sitting beside him with a worried look etched upon her face.

"Don't cry like this Dewdrop, If you do how will I leave?" the five-year-old said with somewhat of a mature vibe engulfing her persona as she calmed down her young best friend to stop crying.

The young boy didn't listen, nor was giving any ear to what his friend is telling he was feeling too down to the mouth to utter anything out of the lump in his throat, and seeing the young boy in floods of tears she was getting teared up as well.

She calmed herself and picked up the violin which was kept beside her on the raised-up bench where they were sitting.

Taking out the bow and stretching out her little tiny fingers getting a firm hold around the wooden stick she kept the base of the Violin under her chin and her other hand extending towards the strings to strum them.

She was hovering her bow and playing a beautiful melodious rhythm which stopped the young boy from crying out buckets momentarily as the boy's pained and saddened expression took a turn of over 360 degrees and like the full of joys of Spring his face lightened up by each strum and slide of the bow on the violin's strings.

She smiled like a Cheshire cat after seeing the brightening of his little adorable features lighten up as soon as he heard the melody which was named something special too 'The music of a dewdrop'

"This dewdrop is gonna miss you Byulyi Noona," he said as he rubbed his eyes to clear off the upcoming tears and uttered in a small voice to the older girl who listened to the gibberish English with a fond smile carved on her face.

"I promised I will come as fast as I can"

The young boy was too impatient to hear the repeated answers to his question "I said when will you come by Byulyi Noona!" he thrashed with despondency laced in his voice and glimmering fresh translucent tears cascading the periphery of his eyes.

The older girl sighed, she feels bad too for leaving her young friend but she cannot do anything she has to go, has to go for personal reasons which the little brain of his could not quite understand.

"I said I will come by Dewdrop, I promise" saying this she climbed down the bench and stood in front of the boy who was swinging his legs with a sad expression and staring at the older.

"You promise? But what is promise Byulyi noona?" she chuckled at the immense innocence of the little chap as she drifted and hovered her hands over his hair to stroke him affectionately.

"Promise is something which is meant to be kept, just like the words of vow during a marriage, didn't you see the marriage of Yoongi's parents recently?" he nodded excitedly with a lifting smile now as he remembered what his mother spoke about how they take vows and how it is bonded together and they will never break it just like how his mother would never leave him.

"But How will I meet you Byulyi noona, if you return to Korea?" He said with a tone that indicated ecstatic curiosity.

She placed her index finger up to her chin to act like she was thinking something very serious question making the young boy giggle cutely with her adorable antics "When you will turn Six years old just come again to this bench and I would be sitting for you with my violin, did you understand Dewdrop!"

He smiled ad nodded and indicated her to help him down the bench, she stretched out her hands and held him and helped him down the heightened bench and he landed with a jump on the ground.

"Do you promise me You will come back right Byulyi Noona?"

"Yes I promise you, Dewdrop just like the Words of the vow"

He nodded and hugged her tightly, hugging her and telling the last goodbyes, both of them held onto each other, Seokjin a little bit shorter than the girl.

Maybe their last goodbyes, and just the starting of break of promises and words of a vow.

Chapter Two

One Year later:-

He was a happy kid, a kid with everything he could ask for, a sweet older brother, a father who brings home gifts for him on Christmas eve, a mother who reads him bedtime stories, and also a whole darn company of his grandfather and father whom he can inherit after his older brother chooses one, of course.

He felt left out like a five-year-old, he didn't have his friend Byulyi noona, and his brother who was already eleven left out to study more to take over his father's business which led to a gap of desperation to meet him to grow, Seokjin didn't care he just waited for the time when he turns six and his Byulyi noona will come back again with a sweet melody of her violin.

He always used to sit near the window to see the outside atmosphere, as his father, as well as her mother, were the most famous people around the world and every vertice of the earth knew them so he was forbidden to go out unless he runs out of the house on his own without the guards seeing him.

Seokjin instead of running outside the house creating chaos for his parents and disappointing everyone in the household, just sat down discerning all the beauties of the nook around the garden point which was laid around his home, which was practically a lonely castle as he used his infatuated imagination to say.

He was different, he knew alphabets, concatenation of the biggest letters into the largest form known as words, he could read books, imagine the writer's emotions just by reading them, he was not an emo kid but still he liked those, it kept him placed in one place when no one was home except his nanny, of course.

The beautiful library that his father created had a silent, serene and sober atmosphere that engulfed him while reading books, but because of his busy schedule Seokjin did the work instead of him, he was a genius and knew every quote from every writer, philosopher, freedom fighters and even the most elite persona's quotes and sayings.

His brain and mindset could also be compared to the wisest of the people in history, even though he was just five years old he had the seas of floating imaginations that used to leap at him.

But he only wanted one thing, or rather just waited for one thing and that is his noona, his best friend, his love.

He waited when the cold sweeping snowflakes will from heaven and fog up the glasses of his room so gets to know that his birthday is around the corner, so that he knows he is turning six and finally he is going to meet someone he loves, his Byulyi noona, call it madness or uncanny to love at such young age but that is how he is, he is different from most of the kids out there, that is what his mother says.

On 4th December 1998:-

His birthday, finally! the little boy was more over than elated, he was frenzied, agitated, and overwhelmed to finally witness his birthday.

Seokjin wasn't overly feverish because of his birthday and the fogged-up windows of the winter after the rain and spring but he is turning Six and finally, at last, he is going to meet his most awaited wait, for which the wait might be just worth it.

He was given the whole freedom to do anything in his birthday month, from buying gifts in a big mall, to having to ask and order around people whenever he asks to and having the whole world to himself, but he didn't require these he just needs one thing, he just needs to see someone, right now, right at this moment.

The boy ran to the place in front of the fountain where the bench was covered with snow and the little flakes of the white solid falling from heaven were the only thing that covered the place, no girl, no violin, not even a tiny faint sound of anything, he sighed.

Seokjin was not going to give up, he knew if his noona gave him up a promise she would wholeheartedly try to fulfill it, so with his gloved small hands, he cleared the white snow on the wooden bench as he climbed up to it with a great amount of perseverance and sat on it as he blew a small puff of cold air out of his mouth as he gazed the frozen fountain in front of him.

She didn't come, he thought, he was saddened was not quite a viable word to say, he was beyond being saddened, he was broken.

His heart turned and churned into pieces by experiencing the first lie of his young childhood, he couldn't take it as he broke down into little sobs of tears when he saw that she was not coming, waiting for her was to no avail, his heart broke into million pieces which would be very hard to join back together.

Seokjin cried, screamed, and thrashed his baby arms of a six-year-old but was soon found out in a state of no distress and no emotion as his mother picked him up in her embrace, not knowing what made him cry so much on his birthday night but kissed him on the forehead.

That was the starting of the evilest of emotions to build up in his heart, the evil of emotions caused by the breaking of promises and someone's trust, it was detested, it was hate that spewed up in his little beating organ and every cell of his body because of the breaking of the vow.

"I hate you Byulyi noona" he mumbled lightly as he pressed his chubby cheeks against his mother's neck as he drifted to sleep in the motherly affection and warmth of his mother.

Chapter Three

Seven years later:-

Seokjin was a full-fledged young man, a thirteen-year-old, with a sweet older brother who was eighteen years old and a young brother of five years old, cute chubby, and always lovable by Seokjin.

Seokjin liked Taehyung the most, he was the best thing that happened to him, they both talk to each other, and blabbered gibberish, and he taught Taehyung how to read too.

His life was great but the hatred which had grown in his heart was growing as the day closed in, he would visit the bench in front of the fountain every day, there won't be even one day when he didn't visit that place which made his mother and father worry a little about his going away from the house at occasional events of the day, which at sporadic points of his everyday life would give him multitudinous sickness until the end of the day.

He would sit on the bench until and unless someone goes there to call, Seokjin neither says that he doesn't want to go home with them nor does he utters or makes a scene to stay there on the forlorn bench.

Somewhere deep in his heart, he knows that his Byulyi noona will never break her promise but a scar is a scar that lives forever with you and if it is pierced or tattooed on your heart it is more hurtful.

"Hya! Seokjin, idiot you listening?" Seokjin deep in thoughts came out of it by swinging his head from side to side seeing who is shaking him so wildly, and when he found out that he was deep in reverie thinking or picturing hard with his overpowered imagination how his Byulyi noona look now.

He saw the source of him shaking like a milkshake "I am sorry I wasn't listening, what were you saying Yoongi?"

Seokjin hissed when he got a hard smack from the older "What got you so angry to hit me like that Yoongi?"

"Forgot your honorifics, brat, punk" Seokjin just blinked towards him and when he saw the green lights of getting another blow on his precious head he put his hands up "Okay sorry, sorry, Yoongi 'hyung'"

Saying this he just laughed a bit as Yoongi sat down on the bed of Seokjin's room with a satisfied smile.

"So what were you telling me?" Yoongi raised an eyebrow at the sudden confused question of Seokjin

"Really, You didn't hear anything?" he just swayed his head negatively and saw Yoongi facepalm himself with a sigh of irritation.

"Okay so I was saying you don't know the name of the person you talk a lot about, you know your Byulyi noona"

Seokjin blushed at the mention of 'Your' and Yoongi was gritting his teeth seeing this kind of shy behavior for no reason "Tell me! and stop blushing!"

"Uh... Sorry again, no I don't know her full name, I always used to call her Byulyi noona" Yoongi looked at him like he is speaking something off the world, who doesn't freaking know the name of your Best friend,

"Really and you don't even have a single picture of her here?!" Seokjin swayed his head negatively, again

"God! you know this looks like some infatuated-up thought of your overly powered imaginative brain?!" Seokjin was, to be honest, a little scared at the occasional outbursts of his friend as he stared at him with a shocked expression and a comical betrayal painted upon the facial features of his face.

"No! she really is not my Imagination, my mother knows her and her house is really there on the main cross just a little to 2 miles away from the fountain, now why does your face look like a cat who didn't get its rat?"

"What the heck is that?" Yoongi scowled at the boisterous description of his friend

"You know you should get up some cat and get banged up"

Yoongi raised an eyebrow with a scowl maintaining its continuous race in its facial feature he looked at Seokjin when he mentioned this "Where do you even get these kinds of stuff? You are just fucking thirteen years old, mind you"

The one getting the scowled attention just shrugged his shoulder in a cool way "Just some porn magazines which my brother brings and buys without the consent of my lovely parents"

"Don't tell me you fucking actually read them bitch" Yoongi widened his eyes towards Seokjin who just sat on the bed casually as if he was not just caught being told that he reads porn magazines.

"There isn't a book in this house I haven't read and I am trying to filter out the foul language which you are using and spewing out in the positive atmosphere of my niche"

Yoongi looked annoyingly and irritated towards Seokjin "You know you should also filter out the books you read"

"Books are books, each and everything has its own information hidden in it"

"Ya, ya reading William Shakespeare and Porn Magazine are really the same, I get it"

They looked towards each other and just chuckle a little at the thought of the topic they were just talking a few minutes ago.
