Before it all happened it started a war between werewolves and vampires. On the other hand, the humans were so angry with the vampires so they sided with the werewolves and the war between the races intensified. The vampires sent brave warriors because of the combined forces of werewolves and humans and were led by a royal lineage named Geline Blood.

The outcome of the war was good and victory became in favour of the vampires. The werewolves also sent their valiant warriors with the help of the people due to their losses, and this werewolf came Marc Martinez led the army and came to the greatest battle between the two fearless groups.

Because of the war, Geline and Marc's paths met. They both have the goal of killing each other until one night, Geline goes to a forest covered with witches and other monsters. Geline is attacked by a huge monster but she could not match it because she is already weak. The monster hit Geline so her body flew away, she hoped she would hit a tree but even with slight pain, she felt nothing. A man joined in and saved her. At first, she was hesitant to thank him because he was one of her fierce opponents and eventually they spent the day in that forest.

As time went on, Geline's heart softened and she feels affection towards Marc. Every day they sneak to the forest to see each other so that no one can see them and away from danger. And day by day they slowly fell in love with each other. The time has come when royal blood like Geline needed a couple to pass the throne to her and to support the army. And because of that, her parents looked for a wealthy young man and then later on she married Alfred Morgan, the wealthiest man in their place.

Geline doesn't want to marry Alfred but she can't do anything because her beloved Marc will be put in danger. And when marc found out about it and he immediately went to the forest and waited there for his beloved Geline. Geline notice that it's time for their meeting so she quickly left the palace to see Marc in the woods. But she did not realize that his husband Alfred was following him.

When Alfred found out what Geline was doing and he immediately goes back to the palace and informs Geline's parent about her love affair. The former king has issued an order to kill Geline's alleged affair and she will also be beheaded. But Alfred thought of a plan as a trap for the lovers so the former king immediately favoured it. When Alfred returned to their room, he noticed a letter in a cabinet next to the bed. In that letter, she found out that Geline was pregnant. He hides it from the former king of his ambition to take over the throne after the death of Geline.

Marc and Geline received a letter from each other asking them to meet at their meeting place without knowing it was part of the former king and Alfred's plan. When the two of them arrived at their meeting place, Alfred's men immediately ambushed them. At that moment, everyone is ready to kill the couple and because of that, Marc died while protecting his beloved Geline. She travelled to distant places where no one could find her.

And that was the last news to her. And now, everything that happened in the past seems to be a legend and gradually forgotten. But I don't think the war between vampires and werewolves is over. Especially since I have not been able to do justice to the death of my parents. Yes, I am the child in the legend they say. And I will be the one who'll create the new world in which I will reign.

Hiding, listening, and waiting. Welcome to my daily routine. Even though I get tired of what I do every day, I can do nothing because it is necessary. This is also one of the ways I know to speed up searching for Alfred.

I was just looking at the sky when I heard a shout and that was the signal that someone was attacked by a hungry vampire. I don't pretend to be a hero or anything, I just want to know where Alfred is hiding. If they ask me for help, I will give it to them as long as I own their life. And they go against me? I will kill them using my own bare hands.

Since I am here at the top of the building, I can see everything down below. I jumped from my seat straight down the building and when I landed on the ground I started to walk to the place where this noise comes from. It was not difficult for me to look for it because I already memorized the whole city and my sense of smell was sharp and right now I can smell the blood from the victim. It looks like I'm late.

When I arrived, I found an unconscious woman and she's already lying on the floor while the vampire was busy drinking her blood. Before the woman died, I approached the vampire. I flew to the vampire and pinned him to the wall. He's facing the wall while I'm holding his neck.

 "Where is Alfred?" It was hard for him to speak because I gripped his neck but it's not enough for him not to answer my question.

 "Go .. to hell ..." He said so I tightened the grip on his neck. This is one of the things that I didn't like, answering my question that doesn't even connect.

 "Ok fine. You don't want to tell me? Hmm" I tore the sleeve of his shirt with my free right hand and a tattoo of the royal guard of the vampire's palace came up to me.

"So you're a royal guard. How about we make some deal?" He stopped struggling and nodded. It turns out that this conversation will pass through the deal, he's just prolonging it. I removed my grip on his neck so he fell to the ground. I moved away from him a little and acted as if I was thinking.

"Let's see. Look at me "He did what I ordered and our eyes met. I could see in my visions that he was very eager for money. Pity creature. I closed my eyes to stop the vision. "Here's the deal. I will make you the richest man in the city in exchange for telling me where Alfred is."

"How can I believe in what you are saying?" He said.

I raised my left eyebrow at him because of what he said so I used my power to make a gold bar. I could see that his eyes were shining because of the gold bar. Such greed for money. I tossed the gold bar to him and he quickly took it. "I'll tell you where Alfred is," he said.

"Good. Now speak"

"He's in argg...ahh" He did not finish what he was saying because something strange was happening to him. He let go of the gold bar and started scraping his neck as if there's something inside of it and it was holding him back. He just kept going on, scratching his neck like there's no tomorrow until his skin is gradually torn then later on he exploded and turned to ashes.

I just turned my back on the vampire who turned into ashes. Cursed you, Alfred. I'll find you soon. My attention was drawn to the dying woman. I almost forgot about her. She's trying to reach me out, asking for help. She was holding her neck full of blood and she was slowly fainting. I started walking away from her but I suddenly stopped when she spoke.

"H-help me p-plea-se.." I turned around to see her.

"Ok. If that's what you wish for"

I took the dagger attached to my combat boots and wounded my hand. When I got close to her I squeezed my wounded hand and brought it closer to her mouth. My blood dripped to her mouth and her wounds were healed. I immediately withdrew my hand and walked away from her.

Using my blood, I can turn someone into a vampire. This is one of the abilities to have royal blood like me and I am the last one.

"Thank you... I owe you my life" she said. She slowly sat down as she tried to stand up.

" You can walk on your own, right?" She nodded at me but she fell.

"I guess not"

I took her to the mansion because she could not be left there alone. It is dangerous for her and the other humans since she has not yet passed the hunger stage.

I was greeted by the maids and some of the mansion guards as I step into the mansion.

"Take her to the guest room. Also, bring her some packs of blood" I said to them and they carefully carried the woman to the guest room so I decided to go to my room to take a bath.

When I entered my room and I immediately locked the door and started to undress. Then I went straight to the bathroom and put a bath bomb in the bathtub full of water.

Before I went home to the mansion, I immediately told my maids to fill the bathtub with water until it became their daily routine because bathing is my stress-relieving.  As I sat in the bathtub I gradually lost my stress.

Until I feel sleepy and my eyelids are getting heavier. I paid more attention to my relaxation and then I finally fell asleep.

When I woke up, there are no more bubbles above the water so I decided to take a quick shower and wore my bathrobe. When I came out of the bathroom, someone knocked on the door.

"Mistress, Michael has arrived," One of the maids said outside the room.

"Tell him to wait for me at the Library," I said then I went inside of my walk-in closet and choose some clothes to wear.

When I got inside the library I found Micheal sitting on a couch with a serious face. Well, I'm used to it. Even when we were kids, he always has a cold and emotionless face.

Let me introduce him to you. He's Micheal Dale, my half-human and vampire childhood buddy. He's like an older brother to me since we're both parentless and Micheal is 10 years older than me but he takes on the physical appearance of a 24-year-old.

"You're so early Micheal. Don't have a date?" I said to him then I sat down on the other side of the couch.

"You know that dating is not my thing, Mistress," he said.

"Oh please stop calling me Mistress. It seems like we have nothing in common right Brother" I teased him. Remember we're not blood-related.

"Ok fine. You won. By the way, here's your request" then he handed me the envelope containing the details I needed.

"You want coffee or tea?" I asked him.

"You know what I want Victoria" he raised his left eyebrows to me and I laughed at him.

"Of course I know! I'm just joking"

"You never failed to make me smile Tori" He rested his back on the couch as if he was resting. I put the envelope on the tea table first then went down to the kitchen to get Micheal's milk and chocolate chip.

This is what we're in common. When I'm with him, he always shows his soft side like me but when in front of others? NO. It's a big no. That's why the people here in the mansion are also afraid of him. When I returned to the Library, I saw Micheal reading the contents of the envelope.

When I put down the tray on the table, Micheal gave me a picture. "Jiro Lee. 22 years old. He's a Vampire. Studying at Von University. He has a band called 'Darkness in Dawn' which is composed of 4 members including him..." He stopped for a while because he takes a sip from his hot milk. "Son of Ana Luimor-Lee and Gerome Lee. And.." I looked at him when he stopped talking.

"And what?" I asked him.

"Gerome Lee is one of the shareholders in Alfred's Company"

"Ohh interesting..." Then I stared at the man in the picture.

"Jiro is also a member of a team that is gaining popularity in the Underworld today"

"Well, in that case, do I need to go back to Underworld?"

"Hmm, I think so? But in my opinion. No"

"Well I guess I'll go back in that filthy place"

"You know what, leave it to me Tori-" I stopped him.

"No Micheal. I have to do something on my own too. I don't want to be a burden to you, do you understand?" He let out a sigh.

"If that's what you want, well then okay." He said then I hug him very tightly.

"Can't breath" He said. I free him from my hug and punch him in his chest.

"What the- What was that for?"

"Nothing. I just want you" I teased him.

"If you want to punch me, just tell me" I laugh at him while he's massaging the part of his chest that I hit.

I gather all the papers and pictures and put them back in the envelope. I stood in front of him when I suddenly remembered the woman that I brought here.

"Oh! before I forgot." I look down on him while he's doing the same thing a while ago. "There's a newbie here, she's staying in the guest room right now. Can you teach her some rules here in the mansion bro?"

"Okay, I'm on it," Michael said then he picks up the last choco chip. I bring the envelope with me and put it down on my desk here at the library. I called Michael again when he was about to leave the room while carrying the tray.

"You forget something don't you?" I slightly nodded at him. He let out a big sigh like he was trying to say that 'as always'. "So what is it?"

"The girl that I said to you a while ago. She's literally a new one" In an instant, he throws me a deadly glare at me. I knew it. He'll be mad at me.

"Why did you turned her?"

"Cause she asked me. Look I'm sorry. I will never, ever, do that again." I raise my hands then I put an imaginary X sign in front of my chest.

He just raised his right eyebrow at me and then one of the maids who assists the woman earlier entered the room.

"Mistress the visitor is now awake," she said then she takes a bow before she left the room.

"So good luck Bro" I put a fake sweet smile at him just to tease him.

"Yeah right"

After he leaves I burst into laughter because of his sarcastic response. I glance outside the window when I noticed something shining. Fireflies, what beautiful creatures.
