Grace's POV

Hey, guys. My name is Grace Mei. I'm a famous singer/actress. I was known as the 'The Queen of Entertainment Industry' and 'The Nation's Wife'. They called me these names because I'm talented. Well, when I was young, I was in the orphanage. I had no family to rely on but gladly, I got a job in the entertainment industry for the past 10 years. Yes, I was in the entertainment industry for 10 whole years.

I was on a vacation for 1 week. I'm just here, relaxing at my villa. I was relaxing outside of my villa until someone calls me.

I saw the ID caller and it's my manager. I wonder what's going on?

I answered the phone and said, "Hello?"

"Hey, the director said that you should come today. He's going to stop your vacation."

My manager said and I was shocked. What the?! I was just starting my vacation and you guys cancelled it?! "Why?! Why did the director cancelled it?!" I said while pissed off.

"I don't even know either. Just come he-" I cut the call off cause I'm getting pissed. I'm just starting my vacation but these guys came out of nowhere. Okay, okay. Calm down, calm down. I got from my seat and headed to my bedroom to get changed.

A few minutes later, I'm now ready to go to the company. I headed to my garage, got my car, and drove to my destination.

After driving, I'm now here at my destination. I park my car at the parking lot and came out from the car. I head to the elevator and go to 10th floor.

...

I arrive to 10th floor already and got out from the elevator to head into my director's office.

I'm now here in my director's office and knock. He let me in and I sit in front of him.

"So, what do you want? I heard you cut my vacation off." I said to him coldly and he replies, "Do you know Jacob Tyler?" I raise a brow. "Yes, what about him?" What's the deal with him? "He said he wants to cooperate with you for your new song." I frown slightly. "That's all?" I said a little bit pissed. Usually, I get pissed sometimes when a 'doesn't-matter' thing that they have to call me here. They could just call me or texted me. The director said, "He said: he wants to meet you tomorrow in their office. Tommorow morning." Fine, I'll get to the bottom of this. "Is there something else?" I said. "No. Now go back." The director said gently.

I stood up from my seat and left for the parking lot. Suddenly, someone called me, and it's my manager.

I answered the phone and said, "What?" and she replied, "So, what did the director said?" I roll my eyes and sighs in frustration. "He wants me to meet Jacob Tyler." Shan squeals as I roll my eyes again. "Count me in. I'll come with you. When is the meeting?" "Tomorrow. I'll just talk to you later. I'm now going home." With that, I hung up.

'I was supposed to be in my vacation but this damned billionaire came out of nowhere. Cooperation? Cooperation, my a**!'

Grace said in her mind while cursing Jacob.

The next day...

Grace's POV

I woke up at 9am and got up from my bed to head to the bathroom. Before I hop in my shower, I'm doing my skincare routine first.

After I did my skincare, I hop in the shower and take a bath.

After a taking a bath, I walk out from the bathroom and head to my closet. I was deciding to what to wear today.

After a while of deciding, I grab my polo-shirt and a black pants.

After getting dressed, I head down to the kitchen to grab a sandwich. I will just eat a sandwich and I'm already full cause I don't have much appetite in the morning unless I didn't eat last night.

I'm now done eating and head to the garage to get my car and drove to my destination.

As I was driving, someone was calling me.

"Hello?" I said. "Where are you now?" My manager said. "I'm on my way. Why?" I said as I begin to drive. "Nothing. Just making sure that you're already ready." I nod, even though she can't see me. "Ok." With that I hung up.

....

I now arrive at the company and head to the parking lot to park my car. After parking my car, I head to the 10th floor to fetch my manager.

A while later, I'm already here in front of her office. Her office and the director's office is just next to each other. I knocked on the door and she let me in.

"Shan, let's go. We might get late." I said without any emotion. "Okay, let's go now." With that, she stands up from her seat and head to the door and closes her door.

We are now here at the parking lot, we head to my car, and left.

"Sorry for your cancelled vacation. I was supposed to be in my vacation too but he suddenly called me, saying that I should call you." My manager said and I replied, "I know, I was pissed too. It was just the starting of my vacation but he came out of nowhere." I begin to drive away. "I'm so excited to meet Mr Tyler! I'm going to see him near and personally!" My manager said excitingly. "Why are you so excited to meet him?" I glance at Shan. "Come on, girl! He is the 'nation's husband' and he was hella handsome. And perfectly, you are the nation's wife! If you are together currently, you both will make the perfect couple." She said and I flick her head, "Ow! Why did you that?!" She glares at me.  "Can you stop your fantasies? I don't want any relationship, okay?! I'm not interested." Shan pouts as she cross her arms. "You are so boring. It's because you had no experience in love!" She said.

Yeah, what she said is true. I have no experience in love. I just don't believe in love, that's all. 'Cause for me, love doesn't exist.

I know that love can be painful or happy. But the happiness will not last long. The happiness will slowly fade away while the pain is slowly coming to the 2 parties of the relationship.

I know that.

Time passed, they're already here at the company. They head to the parking lot and park the car.

They came out from the car and head to the elevator.

As they were heading to the elevator, Shan, Grace's manager, saw Jacob.

"Grace, Grace, Grace!" She said while shaking her. "What is it? Can you please stop shaking or I might hit your head." Grace said as she was looking for something on her phone. "Grace, you know what? I saw Mr. Tyler just now, he came out from the car looking so handsome." Shan said while her eyes are sparkling when she saw Jacob. "So? Do you have to shake me when you saw him?!" Grace said, looking really pissed.

"And you know what? He's heading to the public elevator! Most of the Presidents are having private elevators, right? But why is he using the public elevator? But anyways, let's go where they are going to take the lift!" Shan said excitingly.

"Can we change elevators?" Grace said while she felt boring with Shan's fantasies. "No! We are not going to change elevators. Come to think of it, when we joined the lift with him, he might stretched his hand to shake hands with us! And I could feel his hands.. It's so soft..." Shan said while imagining the scene until Grace flicked her head. "Ow! Why did you do that?" Shan said. "Tch, boring."

Time passed, they are now here at the elevator with Jacob. Shan is getting excited while Grace is just having a 'don't-care' face.

Grace's P.O.V

Why did I even agreed to take a lift with this man?! I am going to kill you, Shan!

'Gosh, it feels so chilly here.'

Shan said in her mind while shivering slightly, not knowing Grace is giving her a cold, nasty glare.

Jacob's P.O.V

I can feel that something is chilly...

"Mr. President, I must tell you this, that is Grace Mei. She is the top singer/actress of their company." My assistant said, whispering.

So, this woman is Grace Mei? The Nation's Wife?

"Ahem, ahem." I cleared my throat and said, "Are you Grace Mei?"

The woman looked at me coldly and said coldly, "Yes, I am. Do you need anything?"

Wow... she talked to me coldly? This woman has guts.

"Can I ask something?" I said and she replied, "What is it?" She is practically glaring at me... "Do you know who I am?" I said and she looks at me. "Oh, yeah, I know you. You are Jacob Tyler. The one who cancelled my vacation just for a freaking collaboration." She said coldly.

This woman... she seemed interesting. No one has ever talked to me like that. You are the first one, Grace, you are the first one.

"You listen, Mr. Tyler. I only have 1 hour to have a meeting with you so you better make this quick or my collaboration with you is canceled." She said, looking really pissed.

What? Did I make the wrong time?

"Grace, you stop talking!" The woman beside her said. I think she's her manager. "I'm sorry, Mr. Tyler, for her behavior. She's really like this." The manager said and I replied, "No, it's fine. I think she's really like that." And steal glance at Grace.

"Thanks for the compliment." She said and rolls her eyes.

What?! She really has guts to roll her eyes... in front of me?!

Hohoho, this woman is really interesting....
