Bang! She closed the door an sank to the floor, her back leaning on the door, her knees pulled up to her face. Tears running down her cheek. She was drunk and cold on the floor. She was sad, she was broken...

Ellie was 14, a very charming and charismatic teenager. Her life was a little messed up though...

Ellie’s mother had a cerebral the previous year. Since then the chirpy little girl they knew was gone.....and the new Ellie was a cold, indifferent and merciless on the outside and broken on the inside.

“Hey, Ellie.....open the door.....pls” Sherry kept knocking on the door and trying to pursuade Ellie but nothing worked. “Sherry, let her be.... we’ll all talk to her in the morning together”, Charles sighed. Sherry and Charles left for their rooms.

Sherry was 16, an attractive and smart teenager. Charles was 19, he was sherry’selder brother, a very intelligent and calm boy. They lost their father at a very young age and their mother had got married due to family issues. They stayed all by themselves in England until Charles came to India for his studies and Sherry followed.

Sherry’s boyfriend Ryan was 18, a very handsome and cheerful lad. He was an orphan and lived with Sherry and Charles since long.

Jack was 19, a very thoughtful and smart young man. He was the younger son of the O’Sullivan’s. He lost his mother when he was 6 and had been ill treated by his father since. His stepmother who was the first wife of his father was cruel to him. He was ridiculed because of her mother being the mistress. His half brother was 3 years older and was destined to be the heir.

The five of them, Sherry, Charles, Ryan, Jack and Ellie were family to each other now. They lived together and cared a lot about each other.

It was late at night. Sherry couldn’t sleep. She was worried about Ellie. She tossed and turned for hours and then finally got up and headed to Ellie’s room.

“Ellie, babe you still up?”.

“Ellie if you are up give me an answer.”

“Sherry, leave me alone for tonight, pls....”,Ellie sobbed.

“Okay then....”, Sherry sighed and walked back to her bedroom.

“Ahhh!”, Sherry screamed.

Ryan was laying on her bed at 2 in the night. Ryan chuckled, “Don’t shout, you’ll wake everyone up....”.

“What are you doing here Ryan?”, she asked with a suspicious look.

Ryan got up to hold her. He put his hand around her waist and pulled her close.

“What do you think babe?”, he said with a smirk on his face.

Sherry grinned. Ryan pulled her into a kiss, pushing her onto the bed. He slowly undressed her without breaking the kiss. Sherry pulled up his t-shirt throwing in on the ground. He took a little packet out of his pocket and threw of his pajamas.

“Ah....mmm....yes.….!!!”, Sherry moaned, “ Oh....Ryan....ahh...babe”.............

Charles knocked on Sherry’s door, “Sherry is everything ok???”

“Hmm.....ya...why.... wouldn’t it....”, she replied with Ryan still licking her.

“Um....I thought I heard something....why do you sound wierd??”, Charles said hesitantly.

“Em...nng....I....I’m fine....hmm.....you go sleep...”, Sherry said trying not to moan.

“Um Sherry, I shouldn’t say this...but don’t touch yourself all night...um get yourself some sleep....”, Charles said, holding back his laughter.

“Ughhh.....**** off Charles”, Sherry replied.

Charles laughed and left for his room.

In the morning, everyone came to the dinning room for breakfast except Ellie. “I’ll go fetch her from her room”, Jack said while leaving for Ellie’s room.

“Ellie, you up????”

“I’m coming in, ok?”, Charles said while opening the door.

Inside the room was Ellie lying on the floor with 4 empty bottles of whiskey. She was unconscious and hot with fever. Jack put her to bed and called out for the other three to come up.

“Shit!!!”

“Did she drink all that?”, asked Charles in complete astonishment.

“No time for that, she’s got a fever.....a real high one.”

“Let’s ask Dean to come over...”, Jack sighed.

Dean was 22, he was a talented and reputed doctor. His father was also a doctor and worked for the O’Sullivan’s since long. He was very close to Jack and so after the annexation of the O’Sullivan’s by the five, Dean became their private doctor.

Dean reached in about 20mins. “ I’ve given her a few medicine's.... she’ll wake up in a while...”, he said somewhat unhappy.

“Are you guys fools??? How could you let her drink so much???”, he said agitated.

“Dean...”

“Ellie, u finally wake up...”, Sherry says in a relieved tone.

“Are you an idiot? Did you leave your brain at the bar yesterday?”, Dean said getting angry.

“Can’t you be a little more considerate to yourself????”

“Dean...I...”

“No excuses!!!”, Dean ordered. “Do you know what you could have caused yourself???”

“I’m sorry....”, Ellie replied.

“Ok stop you guys....Let’s go and have breakfast...”, Sherry said.

They all went down to the dinning hall. The meal was quiet. After the meal, Ellie suddenly said, “Guys I’ll leave for New York in sometime....At least until high schools over....my semester starts in September....I...”.

“No way!!”, Sherry interrupted angrily. “What about everything you have here, what you’ve worked on since years....you’ll leave it all just for a guy???”

“Sherry....I can’t continue here anymore....and we have one of our main offices in New York anyways....I’ll work from there...and about all that I have her...it’s all gone...”, Ellie sighed, “The things left for me to do...I’ll finish them by mid August and then I’ll leave...2 months more...just..2..months”.

“Wow!!...”, Dean exclaimed, “First you start smoking the shit out, then drink the **** out yourself and now leave everything behind and go to New York.... Amazing Death, amazing...”.

“Dean...”

“No, don’t say another word!!!”, Dean shouted.

“Dean Carter!!!....mind your tone out here!!!”, Ellie exclaimed angrily.

“Oh dear Death, now you come to this....I can’t believe it...I’m out”, Dean said getting up from the table.

“Dean...stop...don’t be like this....calm down”, Sherry said bringing him back to his chair.

“Death...I mean Ellie, if you really want to go then we can’t stop you...but just give it a thought...I mean look at what you’re leaving for...”, Jack said somewhat calmly.

“He’s right...If you really want to go we can’t stop you...but being a family we should help you choose the right thing to do...you can’t just leave everything behind just for a guy right...and that too a guy who doesn’t care about your existence...”, Charles agreed.

“I...I don’t know what to do...it’s just that...I can’t take this anymore...”, Ellie said.

“Think it through...we’ll discuss it later....it’s anyways starting of June...we have time...”, Ryan said.

“Hmm”.

The day went by quickly. Ellie sat in her room all day. Dean was staying for a few days. In the evening they called her down to binge on some Netflix and play Fortnite. She finally returned to normal. The six sat with their usual beers and played Fortnite and later watched late night Netflix while having dinner and beer.

They fell asleep on the couch gradually by 5am.

Ding dong, the doorbell rang, someone was on the door in the afternoon. Sherry woke up at the noise of the doorbell.

“The ****?!?!”, Sherry said surprised, “What the hell are you doing here?!?!”

“I need to see Ellie...”

“No way.”, Dean interrupted, “Just go back home boy..”

“Clay, please...Just leave Ellie alone...”, Sherry said calmly.

Clay was 16, a very attractive and smart guy. He was Ellie’s first love, the first evr boy she had feelings for. He used to get extremely annoyed by Ellie. He didn’t like her much back then. Ellie usually ended up crying for him. It had been only a year that she feel in love and she was already too hurt.

“Who’s there Sherry?”, Charles asked with a yawn.

“Clay just leave...ok?...just...”

“Sherry what the ****?!?!”, Charles interrupted her.

“Okay...I’ll leave... I’ll...leave...”, Clay said walking back to his bike.

Sherry sighed, “Let’s get in... I’m hungry”.

The three went in closing the door. Ryan and Ellie were awake to. Jack was sound asleep. Sherry shook him awake, making him annoyed.

“Ugh, Sherry do you have to wake me that way?”, he snapped.

“Let’s go out for lunch...it’s already 2...”, Sherry said.

They went into their rooms to get ready. In around half an hour they were all out in the living room.

“So...”, said Dean interrupted by Ellie.

“Bikes out!!!”, she exclaimed cheerfully.

The six sat on their bikes and headed out. They spent the day by having lunch at Mainland China, watching a movie at DLF and later at a club in CP. They got home late at night. It was 3am. They went asleep in their rooms.

It was Monday, all got work. Early in the morning at 7 Sherry woke Ellie up for school. The two got ready for school and had breakfast. Around 7:30 they were ready to head out. They got on to their lambo's racing each other to school.

“Ah, there you go again.”

“It’s annoying how you win every day.”, said Sherry.

They laughed went into the school campus.

“See ya at dispersal babe”, Sherry waved a good bye.

Ellie was a ninth grader and Sherry was an eleventh grader. Both went into their classes.

Ellie sat on the last bench scrolling through her Instagram. She opened up her chat with Paul, struggling to write even one word.

Paul was 19, an elegant and intelligent man. He was Charles best friend. So here it is, Charles was forced to go live in Bhubaneswar just to be friends with Paul and make sure he’s not in any troubles. Charles liked Paul’s company and so he agreed. Ellie loved Paul. Clay and Paul were the only two guys Ellie ever loved. Ellie felt rejected by Paul too.
