"Where am I?"

I look around and saw that I'm in a beach, a very beautiful beach to be precise.

There's must be a reason why I'm here.

"Maybe I should look around." It's nice here, so relaxing.

The water is so clear that you could see the things underwater. The green leaves of the trees compliments the white sand well.

As I was enjoying the view I saw a couple sitting in the swing talking happily, they seem to be so in love. One look, and you can see in their eyes the love and care for each other.

How I wish that in the future there will be someone who will look at me like that.

"Hayyss, someday" Looking at them, all I could do is smile but I didn't realize that I was already crying until a tear drop. I feel happy for them but why does my heart aches as if I knew them.

"Ah-hh why does it hurts so much"  I said while my tears drop one after another.

I  was immediately woken up by my tears coming down my cheeks and by my heart who is aching as if it has been rip into two.

"What a very weird dream" shaking my head, I sighed.

Well I should just start my day early since I won't be able to sleep again.

I got up, showered, dressed and ate egg with rice and milk for breakfast.

Today is a special day because today is the day I will get to see my report card. I'm so happy yet my hands is cold and full of sweats because of nervousness.

"It's okay Astraea, remember you did a great job in this school year." I sighed.

I just focused on where I am going. The school I go to is just walking distance so I only walk to go to my class.

My thoughts we're disturb due to my friend calling me.

'Astraea!!!' my friend shouted. 'It's 7 o'clock in the morning and you look like it's 7 in the evening, it wouldn't hurt to smile won't you?'

"Good morning to you too." I smiled, she is as energetic as always. "Soleil aren't you nervous for your grades?"

'Honestly I am but I try to not to think about it because I know to myself that I won't have a high grades'

"Don't say that, you can have high grades you know you just need to put a lot more effort."

'Sure, let's us just go inside and get our report card.'

"Yeah, let's go"

We entered our classroom and waited for our teacher to call our name to get our report card.

'Rachel Crawford'

'Aiden Gonzales'

'Liam Harrison'

'Soleil Davis'

'Finally.' Soleil murmured.

"Here's your report card." 'Thank you'

'Yes!!!!' Soleil gleefully shouted.

"What do you got?" I asked.

'Ahhm, with honors, peww I thought I failed.'

"Wow, congrats you did a great job." I praised her.

'Astraea Mandane'

"Wish me luck"

'Goodluck.'

I get my report card and saw the grades I have been manifesting.

I'm so happy.

'What did you get?' my Soleil asked.

"I got with high honor." I answered smiling.

'Congratulation bestie, you really are a living proof of the quote "Hard work pays off"

"Thanks a lot, you know we should celebrate, we did a great job this year #bestfriendgoals."

'Yeah we really should after what you have been through, you cried a lot because of frustrations but hey at least you got a very high grades.'

"HAHA I know the tears I cried has not been put to waste"

'Let's celebrate later I just need to give our teacher the book that I borrowed." she said.

"Okay, I'll wait for you in front of the school gate."

As I was walking to go to the school gate I look at my grades again. Looking at it makes me feel contented and thankful for this blessing.

'You know----'

"Ahhh you scared me" I was so startled that my heart is racing so fast.

'As I was saying you know you shouldn't care about your grades a lot, you should just enjoy your youth while you can, because when the time comes you might regret it.' A cute guy said.

"First of all, who are you? Second, why do you care if I care about my grades?"

'Well, I observe that you focuses too much on your grades I know that it's not a bad thing but because of it you misses the things that are fun."

"Thank you for your wise words but I don't need it."

'Suit yourself, and by the way my name is Samuel Chavez you can call me Sam nice to meet you miss.' He smiled at me and walked away.

I'm annoyed at him 'cause he just judge me that I am way too focused on my studies like he doesn't even know me at all. Who does he think he is, like is he someone who knows it all?!?!? But I am more annoyed because he is right, he does have a point that I mostly don't have time to enjoy life. Ugh his still annoying but he's cute though ugh never mind erase that thought.

'Hey Astraea are you okay? Why do you have a scowl on your face? Earlier you seem fine.' Soliel

"Oh nothing I just saw someone who got into my nerves."

He's the first one to educate me about things like that 'cause usually others doesn't care of what I do as long as I have high grades.

It's the start of our summer vacation, but instead of spending it going to the beach or go to a lot of places, I am just here reading novels like a total bookworm.

As of now I am walking to go to the coffee shop to read there for the change of environment.

I really love to read here.

As I walk inside the cafe, the place is always full of crowds hanging out and people walking in and out getting their coffee for the day despite that, this place is so relaxing for me. At times I am always alone when I go here but that's because I love my solitude, I love being with just  by myself because it brings comfort to me.

I go to the counter and ordered my favorite ice coffee,

"One iced Caramel Machiatto please." 

'Sure, please take your seat first and we will just deliver it to you.'

Moments later the staff delivered my order, and I can smell the beautiful aroma of the coffee.

To who ever discovered coffee I thank you deeply for your hard work, how can anyone don't like coffee.

Well to anyone who dislike or avoids coffee it's your loss, you are missing one of the best thing in life.

After adoring my coffee, I continue reading my book. I am currently reading one of the best part of the book where both the male and female lead are in the church saying their wedding vows for each other,

' He puts the wedding band on the bride's finger while saying the phrase, “I give this ring as a sign of my love.” He said those words with full of love and passion that can be seen in his eyes.

"Someday, when I achieve my goals and I already fulfill my responsibilities I hope someday I will get to marry someone I love---

everything was great not until someone and that someone just have to break my fantasies.

'----I didn't know you also go here.' He said.

I glared at him and answered.

"Well now you know, besides who are you?"

'Ouch you already have forgotten about me? and what's with those snobby attitude huh? Let me remind you to who am I. I am Sam from yesterday and by the way I'm older than you so why that attitude?'

"Sam? ohh that Sam who judge me yesterday for focusing too much on my studies. Yeah I remember."

'HAHA for your information I am not judging you I'm just giving advice base on my experience 'cause when your older you would wish you we're young again.'

"Well---" ughh I don't -- I don't know what to say, usually in this kind of conversation I always have a rebuttal, I hate him.

'See you don't know what to say because deep inside you knew I am right.' He smirked.

**"No your not." **I just can't lose this argument, I never lose and he infuriates me.

'Base on that look on your face you must hate me, well you can hate me as much as you want but we both know I won.' Sam said with a smug look on his face.

I want to erase that look on his face. I hate to admit it and I won't admit it that he have won this lowkey battle of ours to whom is right.

**'You know Astraea you still have a lot of rice to eat.'**(meaning  if we want to be better or advanced in position or be more skilled. Rice then is  a symbol of experience and lessons in life.) 

"How do you know my name?" Is he a stalker? ha!

'I saw your name on your report card yesterday. Oh you must think I'm a stalker do you? HAHA.'

"No!! It's just strange that you know my name and you suddenly talk to me and everything." I blurted out in the speed of light.

'Woah, Calm down I'm just asking. But seeing you being so defensive I guess I'm right HAHAHA."

"Stop laughing and no I didn't I'm just explaining."

'Sure, I'll just pretend that I believe you.'

"Pretend? Yahh why wouldn't you believe me?" Your a complete fool astraea and a bad liar to add to that.

'Nice to meet you miss Astraea but I should be going now I had fun chatting with you.' " Well I don't."

"Yahh we are not done yet. Where are you going?"

He answered. 'Somewhere.' He walks out of the cafe and I followed him.

"Yahh I said we are not done yet."

'Ahh, we are.'

"No we are not I'm gonna win this."

'No, I clearly did----'  he was cut off by an elderly man.

'Hey young man, you shouldn't fight with your girlfriend like that, how can you both settle down in the future if right now you two fight like cats and dogs, young man if one day you are gonna settle down I suggest to follow these quote " Happy wife Happy life" women are always right.' He said. He pat Sam's shoulders and walked away while shaking his head.

I'm not his girlfriend though.

'Ahh well then let's just say you won, if it helps you sleep at night HAHAHAHA.' Sam said.

"Ugh whatever this is pointless anyway." I hate him more.

Later that evening........

Aishhh, that--that Samuel really infuriates me he--he ugh god I hate him.

Did I just have been defeated by him to a lot of arguments in just a short period of time??

I can't believe this. Ohh your on Samuel Chavez someday I'll be able to beat you.

He is the first one who I can't seem to conquer.

Last school year I already achieved my goal so....... what's next?

I feel--I feel lost like I don't know what to do next. This isn't me, I am the kind of person who always have a plan, who always know what to do.

but now it's just nothing,

and I'm scared, I'm afraid of the future without knowing what to do.

Right now I'm inside my room, just laying down in my bed staring at the ceiling.

I don't have any motivation to be productive today, but I have to.

I should do better than I was yesterday it's the best thing to do to face the real world. I just recently realized that the real world isn't always rainbows there are also storms. I have to do better with my studies 'cause I need scholarship if I want to finish my studies.

Knock, knock, knock.

"Who is that?" I asked.

'It's me your gorgeous best friend HAHA.' Soleil

I stand up and opened the door for her.

'Good day bestie--what's wrong you look--ugly.' she said.

"Ouch, is that what you came here for?"

'No, well I just notice that you feel down and pressured this days so I think that maybe we should refresh our brains, lets go to amusement park!!!' Soleil

"Sure let's shout our sorrows away HAHAHA."

'Yeah, now hurry up and shower already you stink.'

"I don't--" 'yeah yeah now go shower I'm excited.'

One thousand years later~~~~Just kidding.

We have arrived in the amusement park.

"What ride should we try first" I asked.

'You choose 'cause I'm just here to accompany you.' Soleil.

"Okay should we try Anchor's away?"

'Sure.'

"Let's shout our sorrows and frustrations away."

We entered the anchor's away and waited for the ride to start.

"This ride is suppose to swing you back and fort right? I think there is nothing scary about this ride."

or so I thought.

"Waaahhh I'm sorry, I was just kidding when I said this is not scary, Wahhh mom helpppp."

'HAHAHAHAHAHA this is fun.' Soleil.

**"There is nothing fun here Waahhh I wanna go down now pleaseeee."**I am about to cry this is so scary I'm afraid of heights.

'HAHAHAHA just enjoy it, shout your frustrations and fear.'

"Ahhhhhh why do people always have high expectation to me? Why do you guys expect me to be perfect I'm just a human I'm not a god."

After shouting few of my thoughts a tear escaped my eye, but it didn't stay long on my cheeks it has been taken away by the wind, the ride slowly came to a stop and we decided to ride the roller coaster next.

'Are you sure about this Astraea? Roller coasters are scary.' Soleil.

"I can do it, there is no good in keeping your feelings in a bottle or you will explode."

We have taken our seat and it is about to start.

"Soleil can--can I hold your hand huhu I am so nervous."

'HAHAHAHA sure--- whoaa your hands is so cold you must be so scared, it's okay I'm here all you gonna do is shout.'

"AHHHHHHH are the employees who managed this rides are crazy? They didn't even told us that they will start it!!!!"

'Shout Astraea!'

"Why do people judge my decisions huh? Who are they to dictate me? This is my body, this is my life I should be the main character of my own story not them!!!!!"

"Ahhhhh I'm annoyed at them but this ride is also so scary Ahhhhhhh."

ohh ohh the roller coaster just stop in the middle of the ride and it just happens to be making us upside down, wait a minute this is intentional so meaning--"Ahhhhhh how there they-- they just making the ride so 10x scarier."

at last the roller coaster is done

'It's fun, but your face make it more funnier the way you look when the rides gets faster it's laugh trip HAHAHHAA.'

"HAHA it's not even funny at all hmp." I said and crossed my arms like a child.

'HAHAHAHA my best friend is so cute ( she said while pinching my precious cheeks.) Now lets continue there is 2 more rides.'

"Ouch that hurts (my cheeks hurts really bad) Okay let's go, I'm done shouting anyways, I'm done shouting my frustrations, let's just enjoy this day."

next ride will be flying fiesta

we took our sit.

"'I bet this is not even scary at all and yeah I know I also said the same thing earlier but now I'm sure."

'Sure I bet you will be scared HAHAHA.'

"Let's see about that."

The flying fiesta just started slowly swing as around.

"Weeeehh this is fun."

' Yeah it is.'

uhhh it is starting to go a lot faster

"Ahhhh"

'already afraid dear Astraea?'

"No, I'm not afraid, I'm dizzy, I feel like throwing up."

'HAHAHAHA to be honest I'm a little getting dizzy to.'

"Oh no I can't take it anymore I'm about to throw up."

'Hang on you can do it.'

'And she didn't.' She throw up right when the ride stopped.

"Ahh remind me not to ride that flying fiesta again uhh."

'HAHAHAHAHA I sure will.'

'come on let's ride the ferris wheel to settle the dizziness and to enjoy our last ride for the day.'

"Sure I feel like my stomach just have been upside down uhh."

We entered the capsule and just relax. The scenery/view is so wonderful it eases the uncomfortableness in my stomach.

"Soleil, thank you for joining me here and thanks to you I feel a lot better now, also thank you for always being here for me." I said while smiling.

'Of course your my best friend, but I'm curious about something.'

"What is it?"

'You are the one who taught me that if I'm frustrated about something just shout it out, why?' she asked.

"Because bottling it all up will do you no good it will one day explode if you did, and we don't want that."

'You have a point.'

"Some people prepare shouting some prepare to just cry so if you feel like crying or shouting then do it, because it is okay to not be okay."

It's okay to feel like you are lost, sometimes you just need time.
