CHAPTER 1

MAIN PART 1:-

Beautiful blossoms have already fallen ......

Different species of birds have already been settles in a new environment.....

Time changes bit by bit in every moment of our life. With this time all living organisms on this earth also changes or develops in a new direction.....except me !

I have been on this earth for the last 50 years and don't know yet how long it will be.....!

Everything which has come on this land has to go one day....has to end one day. But this doesn't count for me. As I’m neither living nor completely dying. It has been said to me for a very long time ago that _"I have been created but can’t be destroyed ”.But what does it even mean ?? I AM NOT A TOOL OR SOMETHING !! I ALSO HAVE FEELINGS.........

I have been stuck in this old palace for the last 50 years. Its not that I lack something here but yet am helpless .... and terribly LONELY...

I can't go out of this place. Its not that I have never tried to run but one can never change their fate. I have realize that......

Since these years I am not having any friend or someone whom I am close with except Mariah aunty , my caretaker...-NO !! I mean this palace’s caretaker. From decades her whole family has served for the people of this palace. Since no one is left here now , leaving a few relatives who had already settled abroad. She is the one who works as a caretaker of this palace and has become a person whom I trust the most. I don't talk with her much but the closest since these years I am with her.....I cant talk to others as they cant see me......maybe as she has worked for so long and has earned everyone’s trust, she can easily see me around . Not only her , but her entire family were very trustworthy to the previous king.

MAIN PART :-

My name is Kisshon and searching for the world’s hidden secrets are my job. In overall I am an ARCHAEOLOGIST. Neither do I have a proper family nor do I have any close friends. My whole universe surrounds my mother and I believe that if I have her then I already have everything and I can easily fulfill my dreams with all her love and support through out my life . My father abandoned us when I was 10 years old . And after that he was no where found !

Anyways~ i am already very happy and satisfied having a mom! The most caring of all !! And I have a stable job which was once my DREAM JOB and they pay me quite well to take care of me and my mom . I also recently got promoted to the CHEIF of my team . Yes you can also think of it as an excuse to look for my so called DAD “FATHER” the word I despise !! I hate him a lot for leaving me and my mom forever . But I still cant understand that what got him to abandon us all of a sudden !?!? I always remembered being happy together for the first 10 years of my life until one day when he was one more found..... So...why!?!?

CHAPTER 2

It was a bright morning today and they both have gotten up from bed . She is combing her hair while looking all sad and lonely.

On the other hand , Kisshon had already made breakfast for his mom.

His mom: Why are you eating in a rush?

Kisshon: Today they are setting a new place for research. So I need to get ready fast .

Mom: Again!?

Looking at his mother all depressed he walks up to her and gradually hugs her .

“Now don't start crying okay .....?”

“Why will I not!?” **hugs back**

“Uhhh... Mom please don't do this !! If you continue being sad like this , I wont go .....

And also the location can be near this time ...right ?”

“Hope so **sighs**”

**phone starts ringing**

“Here comes the call !!”

**picks up the phone**

“Hello”

The team department : Hello sir ! Your place has been decided just now in the meeting.

Kisshon : “Where is it ?”

The team department : It is in the north. The name of the place is CAHOKIA MOUNDS.

Kisshon : “Isn't it the largest archaeological site in the world?”

The team department : Yes sir. It is a big mission this time . Hope you do it well !!

“Yea sure .... I will head out from home today evening only ! I will inform the other members also . Thanks again~ Bye !!”

**the call ended**

Kisshon jumped and hugged his mother in excitement. She looked at him and asked “Where is it then ..?”

HE replied in happiness- “It is not so far from here. So I can come by anytime and spend some time with you. It will probably take 2-3 hours from here .”

His mother then said, “It is better then those Tampa and Almo trips which take 3 weeks or more then that . But which place are you even going son? “

“It is CAHOKIA MOUNDS”

His mother remains silent for a while and then says “I think i have heard of this place somewhere”

“Yeah ..It is a very famous site ! Isn't it nice that I am getting a chance to work there ? I am soooo excited !!!!”

“No I don't think I have heard about it in a good way”

“Oh no mom ! You are being superstitious again!! I know you are am archaeologist’s mother so you think of all the old sayings of the past people but don’t go so deep in their words OK -?

Now I am going to pack and call others. You sit and finish your breakfast....”

His mother tried to stop him but he just went away to pack his bags.

Meanwhile in the palace Maria aunty came inside with food in her bedroom where she was sleeping. Actually she was just pretending to fall asleep. Maria aunty has long known about this fake act of her; so she says “What happened madam ? You can tell me about it but don't cry like that.”

“Who said I am crying!?” **yells**

“Do you think that after living here with you for so many years \, I don't know anything about you ?”**keeps the food tray on the table beside her bed**

“I wont eat so you may take the food away.”

“But how long will you act like this ?? Please eat something !!”

“Don't you get enough money to take care of this huge prison !? Why do you even care about me !??? ” ***yells louder**”JUST LEAVE ME !!! I wont die anyways.....”

“Why are you saying all of these ? you are like my own dau --”

“”PLEASE !! LEAVE ME ALONE !! DONT ATTACH YOURSELF TO ME” **annoyed** “GET OUT !!!!!!”

Maria aunty left the tray there and went out of the room and thought to herself\,**sigh** ”Why is the god so unfair to her?”

In the afternoon Kisshon was ready to head out. His mother came to see him off but she stopped in between when she saw her family photo lying on the floor with broken glass pieces all over. She rushes to her son and tells him’ “Son wait !! **breathes heavily** wait a minute.....”

“What happened mom !?”replies Kisshon.

“It is already evening and soon it will be all dark everywhere. So....why don't you just go tomorrow.....?”

“What are you saying mom ?I am all ready to head out ! How can I just cancel my tour today when all my team mates are already here ?

The chief will come tomorrow and I will have to be there before he shows up ! There’s no way i am not going today.”

“I don't know anything....just it isn't safe for you to go today !” **hurriedly catches his bag**

“Oh mom ! I am not a kid anymore and if u feel lonely and bored , don't worry I have already informed Diya Aunty to accompany you.

Okay mom take care of yourself...I will call you when I reach there ! I will go first . BYE\~!!” **he picks up his bag and gets on the car and leaves**

His mother watches him leave. She wants to stop him but she just cant......
