Hearing the voice that fell out of infinity, Jungkook tripped and fell on the rough grassy land, engulfed by interminable darkness in the woods.
Jungkook whined sorely as he got his chest clashed with the ground.

Why don't you take my life instead ??
Jungkook cried out his plea through the pain, but the misfortune of his weren't to let him be heard out and acknowledged.

Jungkook suddenly felt an extreme burning sensation in his right that had been tightly grasping onto a tiny glass container, protecting it.

Jungkook was giving all of his exhaustible energy to hold the container in his hands while he heard the devilish laugh reverberating throughout the woods.

Jungkook just kept shaking his head in denial, in spite of all the manipulations.

The wicked laugh once again echoed all over the area which sickened Jungkook at its peak. He was no more afraid, no more frightened of 'it'. He was just heedlessly ready to fight for his love.

This time, Jungkook felt harsher nerve bursting sensation of heat in his hands and arms that it unfortunately caught him off guard and he involuntarily gave up on the glass container.
He screamed no when the container got freed from his clutched and rolled on the ground.
Jungkook screamed again when the container began levitating!
Jungkook's widened glistening eyes watched the container being suspended in the thin air, slowly getting swallowed by the darkness. He no longer saw any way getting it back, just gazed at it in defeat.
A man, being the ultimate ray of hope, jump into the scene at the right moment and grabbed the container in his hand that was just on the way to fly to 'it'.
Lee know glanced at Jungkook and smirked, who is still collapsed on the ground but his eyes were sparkling for him.
" 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐈𝐓 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐓𝐎 𝐌𝐄!"

Lee know couldn't even finish his sentence and suddenly they felt a strong gust of wind!! The trees drooping, twigs falling on the ground, freshly detached leaves flying in air!
Lee know greedily clutched the container to his chest while Jungkook buried his head in his arms on the ground.
After a minute of lowkey storm, the atmosphere normalised.
Both of the men lifted their heads up.
Lee know rushed to help Jungkook, who was trying to stand up on his feet.
He offered his hand and Jungkook grabbed it. He finally stood up and dusted his clothes.
Lee Know
Jungkook are you okay?
Jungkook looked at Lee know before pulling him into a tight hug.
Jungkook
T-thank you, m-my friend [ sobs ]
Lee Know
It alright [ tapping Jk's back ]
Jungkook
I-I thought I would lose my Minnie *hic*
Lee Know
Not until I exist
Jungkook smiled through tears and pulled back from the hug.
Lee know handed the container over to Jungkook and Jungkook happily accepted it.

Uh-oh! It's too early to thank me. We're yet to defeat that evil thing.

Lee Know
He has just hidden himself. He was afraid! What if I took his name?

The Luminous Cave
Lee know and Jungkook trotted through the ICU corridor and chanced upon the concerned doctor before they could pushed the door to open.
Doctor
Where are you going!?
Jungkook
Doctor I need to see Jimin, please!
Doctor
You can! I never denied but please mind to create utterly no noise and don't go near him.
Lee Know
Certainly doctor. We won't do anything unfavorable.
Doctor
Great! Go ahead then.
The two young men bowed down to the doctor and thanked him before entering the Intensive Care Unit.
They crept into the room, making sure to maintain absolute silence.
As soon as they adapted themselves accordingly, they looked at the figure they were striving for, laying on the bed, eyes closed, looking so weak, who once used to exert so much of ❀Charm❀.
The veins in his lifeless hands being penetrated by multiple needles and the oximeter beeping unevenly, scaring the the other two the most but they had to fight their bursting emotions especially the older one.
Jungkook
Baby, I will save you. I'll merge your soul to your body. Just lend me some time a-and I'll be back.
Jungkook spoke or more like whispered as he didn't want to create any sort of trouble by going against the doctor.
Jungkook
I-I will surely g-get back to you. When y-you'll get back to n-normal, will s-see eachother, will give you a tight hug and-

And will never let you feel pain [ sobs ]
Lee know rubbed Jungkook's back to help him control his sobs.
Lee Know
Jungkook I think we should leave now. [ whispers]
Jungkook nodded while sniffling his nose.
Jungkook
Bye Minnie, hope to see you again.
Lee know gently placed his palm on the latter back and turned him around so as to exit the room but the latter has no intention to leave the sight of his love, Jimin.
But eventually, Lee know succeeded to drag Jungkook out of the room.

Jungkook, pull yourself together, alright?

If you gonna be like this then how will you save your Minnie??
Jungkook wiped the tears off his face using his hoodie paws.
Jungkook
[ sniffs ] I will do it, Minho. I'mma bring him his consciousness back, his soul will reside back to his body and will do whatever it takes it get it.
Jungkook said it, his eyes sparkling with optimism. He knew that if he hesitates to make the right move, at this point, he'd lose himself, which he troubled in the least about, but also get Jimin perished on that ICU bed.

Let us move Jungkook.
Leeknow took Jungkook back into the dense woods.
Jungkook
Where is it, Minho?
Lee Know
I guess it's this way [ points to his right ]
Jungkook and Leeknow walked through the thick bushes, making arcs off their steps, stumbling and tumbling on the way, finally arrived at the destination set by Leeknow.
Lee Know
Pick your jaw and let's move inside already.
With that, both of them stepped inside the magical luminous cave. The walls were sparkling with some alienated glitters, fascinating Jungkook with every step!
But the ground was flooded with water that immersed their feet.
Jungkook
What are we heading for, Minho?
Leeknow suddenly shushed Jungkook and then they heard an echo of someone reciting something incoherently. The sound reverberated throughout the cave.
Lee Know
Jungkook [ whispers]
Jungkook looked at Leeknow, puzzled.
Leeknow beckoned to Jungkook from behind his back as he was leading and Jungkook followed his friend.
They slackened their pace but still the sound of soft plops of water on the ground could be heard easily.
But somehow they made through the tunnel, following the sound, and opened up to a huge circular land enclosed by wall of rock, with no shelter on top, from where they could see the night sky.
There was a pond too! The flowing water that was on the ground would ultimately meet the pond.
But since the sound of the chant grew louder as they reached the place, Leeknow and Jungkook scanned the whole area, and then spotted a man sitting beside the surface of the pond, with legs folded.
It was quite dark and that's what made the man who was wearing something black camouflage with his dark background.
But he was noticed when a ray of moonlight lit him when he made a vague movement while reciting some incomprehensible words.
Leeknow slowly walked towards the man, followed by Jungkook. Soon, both of them reached him and as soon as they did, the chanting stopped.
Jungkook was looking at Leeknow in perplexity whereas Leeknow was gazing at the man seated before them.
The man chose to remain as he was, silent. His eyes were closed, his fingers counting the beads of rosary that was spiralling his wrist to the tip of his finger.
Leeknow and Jungkook let the man take his time.
He suddenly voiced out, eyes still closed.
Lee Know
Master Chozen.... We need your help.
Jungkook
W-we want you to permit us to travel back in time.
Jungkook
M-my fiancé, Park Jimin, is having his health deteriorating day by day, pushing him to the brink of death.
Jungkook
I want to go back into the past and correct the mistake I made, because of which, he collapsed miserably and is fighting against potential death.

Before Jungkook could finish his speech, Leeknow elbowed him all of a sudden and stopped him from speaking frantically and he shook his head while looking at Jungkook.
Jungkook knitted his brows at Leeknow in confusion.

He actually couldn't help when his fiancé got into a cab whose brakes were wrecked up and he got into a terrible accident.
Leeknow glanced at Jungkook after speaking. His expression was eloquent of his treacherous mind. He wanted Jungkook to not disclose the real reason and remain secretive about it to the old uncanny man.

The static lake plopped when Master Chozen dropped a blop of a viscous fluid over the surface of it, wavering the fragile reflection of the moon.
The two men, who were seated by the lake on the tough bare ground, watched every movement of Master Chozen attentively.
Chozen
The job is done at my end.

Now wait for The Occult Door to open.
Said Master Chozen as he closed the cap of the container where he had preserved a greenish translucent liquid.
Lee Know
The Occult Door? What is that, Master?
Jungkook
W-what kind of opening?
Jungkook tentatively asked, looking up at Chozen who was standing across the lake with his hands clasped behind his back.
Chozen
An aperture between two epochs. You and Lee wish to travel back in time, this door helps you reach the exact time and location you want to land on.
Chozen
But it's not that easy.
Lee know and Jungkook, both of them twitched their eyes at Chozen with their ears perked up.
Chozen
It's all a game of mind power.

You are required to have a powerful, influential memory of the time you want to travel to.

The old man asked sagely.
Jungkook and Lee know slowly turned their heads towards eachother's. They looked at the eachother, as if, communicating with their eyes, before looking back towards Chozen.
Three of them, tilted his heads towards the lake as they heard the pop sound and saw uncountable bubbles popping on the lake all of a sudden.
Jungkook
What is happening?
Chozen
Have patience young man.
After few minutes, the popping of bubbles stopped and as it stopped, they stepped closer just to realise that the surface of the lake had turned into a mirror!
Lee know looked at Chozen to find answers to the questions he hadn't asked.
Chozen
The Occult Door has opened.
Chozen
It's ready, for you, to dive into a different epoch as it has visibly turned into a transperant sheet that keeps record of both the time zones.
Hearing which, Lee know and Jungkook leaned their heads ahead and saw the clearest reflection of them, clearer than they ever saw themselves on the mirror they have in their houses.
They moved back and looked at Chosen while slightly nodding their heads.
Chozen
You have to reminisce the memories of that time while you drown yourselves under the lake. It should be strong, strong enough to make you forget that you're underwater, holding your breaths.
Jungkook gulped a lump down his throat as he listened to Chozen. Jungkook has a fear of water bodies and that is the reason he doesn't like to swim. But does that even concern him at the moment? All he knew was to get Jimin's life back, by hook or by crook.
Jungkook sucked in a deep breath before looking at Chozen.
Lee know turned his head towards Jungkook and vaguely smiled at him.
Said Leeknow, looking straight at Chozen with his intent heart and eyes.
