CHARACTERS

Nancy - Nancy is a 26 year old girl whose mother died when she was very young. She is a beautiful fashionista with an amazing fashion sense who lives with her dad. She never compromises with priorities and principles of her life.

Jake Stephens - Jake is Nancy's overprotective best friend who is 26 year old. They have been close ever since they were in school. He low-key has a crush on Nancy and always looks out for her.

Andrew Riom - Andrew is a 27 year old billionaire who holds the status of the President in the RIOM empire. He is intelligent and quick witted along with being an all rounder and a perfectionist. Being an eligible bachelor , he is the heartthrob of many girls.

Allen Riom - Allen is 25 year old and Andrew's younger brother. He is a playboy by nature who loves to be flirty and goofy. He always runs away from the responsibilities of being the future Vice President of the RIOM empire. He is quite popular and has a huge female fan following on social media.

Claire - Personal assistant of Andrew. Also known as the 'daredevil' and 'miss perfect' at her workplace.

James - Secretary of Andrew.

Sharon - Sharon is Andrew's female best friend since childhood. She lost her parents when she was very young and Andrew's parents were the ones who took care of her. She lives abroad and is like a family member to the Riom's. She is a workaholic as she is a detective.

Jaden Smith - Jaden is Andrew's childhood friend and also his business partner. He is a 27 year old CEO who can go to any extent for his friends and loved ones. He knows Andrew more than anyone else.

Jenny Smith - Jenny is a 25 year old housewife who loves Jaden very much. She is Andrew's acquaintance and Sharon's younger sister. She was brought up by the Riom family too.

CHAPTER 1

Nancy was in a rush as she was getting late for her job interview.

Nancy : Dad ! I am going or else I will get late.

Nancy's dad rushed to the door with her breakfast but Nancy had already left till then. Then , he saw her come back again to give him a hug and go out with the breakfast in her hand.

Nancy literally jumped all the traffic signals to reach the venue on time.

Nancy ( mumbled to herself ) : I wish my car was a plane. I would have reached faster.

She looked at the other cars as she zoomed past them.

Nancy ( sighed ) : Even donkeys are faster than these humans.

Suddenly , her car stopped moving and she cursed when she saw that her car was low on petrol. She tried to give herself a little prep talk as she was on the verge of giving up on the job interview by now.

Nancy ( mumbled ) : What a great way to start the day , Nancy ! Why does it always happen at the wrong time ? It's okay ! I won't give up.

She was about to ask for a lift when she heard a loud bang followed by a screeching noise. She rushed over to the spot and saw a damaged car. She cried for help and tried to help the person.

Nancy : Mister , you are bleeding.

The man fell unconscious before the ambulance could arrive.

Nurse : You need to come with us.

Nancy : Why ?

Nurse : We cannot conduct the operation without the presence of the guardian. Please don't waste time. He has already lost a lot of blood.

Nancy was a person of principles who never backed off from helping someone in need so she agreed.

The scene shifted at the hospital.

Doctor : What happened to him ?

Nurse : It's a nerve rupture. The bleeding isn't stopping.

Doctor : Move him to the ICU. We need to operate on him immediately. Get the signatures from his guardian.

Nurse : Who are you to him ?

Nancy thought for a while. If she told them she didn't know him , they would not carry out the operation because there was no guardian at the moment so she decided to just lie in order to save the person.

Nancy : I am his family.

Nurse : Please pay the money at the counter. We are proceeding with the operation.

Nancy used up the few savings she had in the bank to pay the hospital bills.

Nancy : I am doing this so that you can live. I hope you live a good life.

After a while , the doctor came out of the ICU.

Nancy : How is he ?

Doctor : The operation was successful but he needs to rest for now.

The injured man later woke up and asked the nurse about the girl who had saved him.

Nurse : She left after paying your bills.

Man : I hope to meet you again.

Meanwhile , after paying the bills and completing all the formalities , Nancy rushed out and was lucky enough to get a lift. She kept blabbering about her day to the guy who was driving the car. He was a handsome owner of the beautiful Mercedes Benz that he was driving and Nancy's eyes couldn't stop admiring both the car and the guy. Suddenly , the guy stopped the car and it halted with a jerk.

Nancy : What happened ? Why did you stop ? I am already late , bro.

Guy : What the **** ! I am not your bro.

Nancy : What the heck do you want ?

Guy : Get out !

Nancy : What ?

Guy : Just leave.

Nancy took it as a cue to step out of the car.

Guy ( in mind ) : She is damn noisy. Why don't parents teach their daughters not to brozone any random strangers ?

Nancy ( in mind ) : Thanks to him , my last hope of making it there to the company is crushed now.

Nancy begged the secretary to let her in the interview area.

Secretary : Sorry ! We cannot help you. You are late.

Nancy : Please give me a last chance. I heard your boss hasn't arrived yet. Please let me in. 

Secretary : Rules are rules. Our President is strict with the rules and procedures. Please don't waste our work time and leave.

Nancy gave up seeing that the secretary wouldn't let her in. On her way out , she collided with a guy and was about to fall but luckily the guy held her by her waist and prevented her from falling. He kept staring at her.  

Guy ( smirked ) : We meet again , crazy girl. 

Nancy almost shouted realising that it was the same guy who had given her a lift.

Nancy : It's you !!!!!!

She realised the position they were in and got embarassed. 

Nancy ( shouted ) : Pervert ! Leave me !

He removed the hand from her waist so suddenly that she lost her balance. As a result , she fell down with a bump.

Nancy : Ouch ! You don't have any manners.

The guy left her on the floor and walked off to his office.

LATER

Guy : Let the girl come in for the interview.

Secretary : She was late , sir.

Guy : It's not your work to tell me what to do and what not to do.

Secretary : Okay sir ! Sorry !

Guy ( in mind ) : Why do I feel like I have met the crazy girl before ?

Nancy rushed for her job interview. On her way , she saw an injured man so she stopped by and helped him reach the hospital. She paid his hospital bills as well As a result , she got late and had to ask a handsome rich guy for a lift. She had another awkward encounter with same guy at her work place. The identity of the injured man still remained a mystery.

CHAPTER 2

This was nothing new to Andrew who was quite used to his younger brother being in the headlines every other week. Allen was a spoilt brat who was used to getting everything he wanted in life. Being the youngest in the family , he was too pampered and protected.

Andrew : Any updates on Allen ?

James : He went to a bar with a girl last night. From there , they both went to a hotel.

Andrew : When will he grow up ? Every other week he brings up a juicy scandal to entertain the media.

Just then Allen entered Andrew's office looking frustrated.

Allen : Are you spying on me again ? Bro , tell your bodyguards to stop following me everywhere like creeps.

Andrew smacked Allen's head from the back slightly and started scolding him.

Andrew : What should I do then ? I have to take care of a careless little brother like you. Why don't you think about your reputation , Allen ? Every other week your picture is on the front page of the newspaper.

Allen ( scoffed ) : You have started nagging more than mom.

Andrew raised his eyebrows showing him the newspaper article.

Andrew : Who is this girl ? Would you care to explain ?

Allen : First of all , she is my spy. I had asked her to meet me for some information. I didn't realise that the paparazzi were following me.

Allen took out a pen drive and handed it to Andrew who looked confused at his gesture. Allen continued his talk seeing Andrew's confused reaction.

Allen : Secondly , cancel the deal with Randhawas. The pendrive contains the information which proves that they are involved in illegal shipping of products in the international market. Thirdly , I risked my high class reputation for this task but rather than being grateful , you scolded me.

Andrew and James laughed at his last statement.

James : Do you even have a reputation , Allen ? Since when ?

Allen ( glared ) : Why are you talking down to me , Mr James ? Don't forget that I am still your boss.

James ( bowed respectfully ) : You are my boss but it's not official yet. I was just joking , sir. Don't take my words seriously.

Andrew ( confused ) : How did you come to know about the Randhawas ?

Allen gave him a smug smirk.

Allen : I have my sources , bro.

Andrew ( smirked ) : Would you like to reveal your sources ?

James : Mister Allen , are you sure you don't want the Vice President position ? This job suites a prodigy like you.

Allen ( whined like a child ) : Being the Vice President is so boring. I just want to chill and have fun in life.

Claire : May I come in , Mister Oberoi ?

Andrew : Yes Claire.

Allen ( flirty ) : You look beautiful , baby girl.

Claire ( sarcastically ) : Thank you Allen bro.

Allen ( dramatically ) : Kill me !!! Punch me !!! Kick me !!! Just don't call me bro. It hurts my pride whenever a girl brozones me.

Andrew ( warned ) : Allen , stop flirting with Claire. She is my assistant and this is my workplace.

Allen kept quiet sensing the seriousness in Shivaye's tone.

Claire : I have handled the reporters Mister Andrew and the article has been put down. Also , Miss Nancy has accepted the job offer.

Andrew : Good !

Allen ( suddenly interested ) : Who is Nancy ? Is she beautiful ?

The trio rolled their eyes at Allen. Allen was intelligent but still quite immature.

James : Allen sir has intelligent and interesting brain cells but he rarely uses it at the right place and at the right time.

Claire : You are not wrong , Mister James.

Andrew : I agree to that.

LATER

Allen ( smirked ) : James , do a background check on Nancy and send me the information.

James : Okay sir.

AN HOUR LATER

James : Sir , I did a background check on Miss Nancy. Here are the reports.

James left a big brown envelope on Allen's desk and made his way back to Andrew's office. Allen opened the envelope and went through the papers.

Allen ( sighed ) : There is nothing interesting about her. There is not much background information as well. She has a friend called Jake….

Allen was about to throw the papers but suddenly he looked back at the papers again.

Allen : Jake ??!!!

5 MINUTES LATER

Allen ( shouted ) : Mister James !!!! Come back !!!

James hurriedly came over to see what was wrong , only to see Allen giving him a cheesy smile. James knew that something felt off about his smile.

Allen : I want you to find out about another person. Hehe !

Allen , Andrew's little brother got into a scandal. Allen explained that he was framed by the paparazzi. He also revealed the dark secrets of Randhawas who were their business partners. He flirted with Claire , Andrew's assistant but he was stopped by Andrew as it was against company's professional ethics. Later , he told James , Andrew's secretary to look into the background of Nancy.

CHAPTER 3

LATER THAT EVENING

Andrew and Allen were going home together after Allen had insisted Andrew to give him a lift.

Andrew : Why did you ask me to drop you when you have your own car and driver ?

Allen ( fidgeted in his seat ) : Umm….I want to know more about Nancy.

Andrew ( laughed ) : Why are you getting so interested in her suddenly ? Do you have a crush on her ?

Allen ( laughed it off ) : Bro , I don't even know her. I am just curious about her.

Andrew observed Allen's face to see if he was lying or not but seeing no sign of anything , he put his eyes back on the road.

Andrew : I had weird encounters with her. She hasn't joined our company yet so I don't think I can give you much info about her. James must have already done research on her for you.

Allen ( laughed ) : Haha ! By the way , what do you mean by 'weird encounters' ?

Andrew ( sighed ) : She is just so annoying. I don't think I can bear with her tantrums.

Andrew explained him about how he met her with detailed descriptions.

Allen ( smiled inside ) : This is the first time you have talked so much about a girl.

Andrew ( laughed it off ) : Stop your nonsense , Allen.

Allen ( excitedly ) : My heart says that you are meant to be together.

Andrew ( sternly ) : Stop it or I will drop you off in the middle of the road.

The rest of the ride was going pretty much peaceful as Allen was listening to music on his headphones and Andrew's concentration was on the road.

Allen ( suddenly ) : Bro ! Stop !

Andrew halted the car so suddenly that Allen bumped his head on the dashboard as he had not worn the seatbelt. Allen rubbed his forehead wincing in pain.

Andrew ( concerned ) : Are you hurt ? Why did you do that ?

Allen : Girl ! I just saw a beautiful girl. Bro , put the reverse gear. I want to see her.

Andrew ( annoyed ) : We almost got into an accident just now , because of a girl.

Allen gave him 'puppy eyes' which Andrew couldn't resist and melted instantly. Andrew always had a hard time time denying anything to Allen because he had always pampered him a lot. Also , Allen had his own ways to convince Andrew. So , Andrew agreed to him and drove the car backwards.

Andrew ( surprised ) : Nancy !!!!!

Andrew stopped the car beside her. Allen kept looking back and forth between Andrew and Nancy.

Allen ( in mind ) : Is she the one whom my brother likes ? It's time to check it out.

Allen ( flirty ) : Hey beautiful ! Want us to give you a lift ?

Nancy ( looked at Andrew ) : YOU ??!! It's you again !

Andrew ( avoided eye contact ) : Where do you want to go ? It's late night. I will give you a lift.

Nancy ( excitedly ) : I am hungry. There is a place nearby. Don't worry. I can walk there by myself.

Allen ( pretended to act surprised ) : Alone !!! Why don't we join you ? I am hungry too.

Nancy ( jokingly ) : I don't think a kid like you would kidnap me. Would you ?

Allen ( winked ) : Of course not darling. Get in the car now.

Nancy ( in mind ) : Why do I feel like I know them ?

Nancy : We have met twice but never got a chance to introduce ourselves. Should we do that now ?

Allen ( in mind ) : Twice ?

Allen glared at Andrew which he successfully ignored.

Andrew : I am…

Allen ( interrupted ) : I am Allen Riom.

Nancy ( deep in thoughts ) : Are you the Vice President of the company ?

Allen : Yup ! You are correct.

Nancy : I am Nancy. Nice to meet you. I have heard a lot about you.

Allen ( curiously ) : Like what ?

Nancy ( sheepishly ) : You are notorious but quite intelligent.

Allen laughed at it along with Nancy. He saw her looking at Andrew so he decided to take the matter in his hands.

Allen : He is Andrew. He also works in this company. He is a normal worker like you.

Andrew ( in mind ) : What ?! This guy is so unbelievable. For god sake , I am the President of the company.

Nancy looked at Andrew and gave him a pleasant smile.

Nancy : Nice to meet you Andrew. I look forward to working with you.

Nancy ( in mind ) : I thought he was rich because he was driving an expensive car. Maybe I judged too early. What if that was just rented ?

Andrew nodded and smiled in return. Their "little" moment was again interrupted by Allen.

Allen : What else do they say about me in the company ?

Nancy : Not much , but they do talk a lot about the President of the Company. Seems like he is the real catch.

Allen ( dramatically ) : Do you mean that I am not an important figure of the company ?

Nancy : I didn't mean that Mister Allen. Yes , a lots of efforts and hard work are required in this field. You are quite hard working.

Andrew ( in mind ) : Hard work ? He doesn't even know how to spell it correctly.

Allen be like : HARD WROK ! Lol.
