Milia. The only name that always came to my mind, it was confusing. Though, I never paid any mind to it. Well, I lost all my memories... Years ago,, I remember one thing though,, a girl.. She seemed to be my friend? But I clearly can't remember.

My memories came back,, randomly. It was when I would hear these names or smell... Or even at the sight of something it would happen.

I would always be confused,, but when it did happen I wouldn't tell.. I would always think,, only a few memories are here and it's scaring me.. What name is this? Who's name is it.

I was walking around,, my mother had told me to go to a doctor.. Her name was "Mrs, Villian" if I remember correctly..

I headed to the place,, it was very close to where I live. It triggered a memory.

"Milia! What're you doing?" It was a familiar voice,, my voice...

"Oops! Sorry Laurien!" There was a female. Her appearance was beautiful though she had a bad sickness, LMD...

~Memory Over~

I remembered my mom telling me, one of my old friends had LMD. LMD is a sickness where it takes over your lungs, makes you weak and you may look fine,, but on the inside... You're hurting.

There... There was no cure,, my dad told me that when she died all my friends weren't the same... But what she did...

She was my best friend for years as my mom told me but she was always strong and she never regretted what she did.. It confused but amazed me.

I couldn't wish for a better friend than her... If I remember.

I miss her... No one can or could replace her!

I told the doctor about the memories I get. She told me Im getting back all my old memories from years ago. I nod and leave the place

I look up at the sky and smile,, tears rolling down my cheeks and onto the ground.

"I love and miss you Milia.. I promise on my heart,, I'll see you one day... Until then I hope you watch over me and I promise my heart condition will be better and if it doesn’t...."

"We'll be together like we promised..."

I walk home, to get some shut eye... I can't wait until I see Milia again..

Her name... Keeps on coming into my head..

It’s like a constant reminder.. It's annoying, sad... Most of all it hurts. Miya,, my best friend,, she always pointed out how "different" I am. But I know she's joking....

I was walking down to a small place,, me and Miya and Milia? Is that her name? I think,, well where we all used to hang out. Though that was ages ago.

Me and Miya were at the place together,, after awhile like half an hour later,, she got a text "You NEED to be here NOW! It's about your brother!". Out of horror, we ran to the hospital..

Her brother was showing signs of LMD...

Miya helped him to his bed and we went in the hallway to talk "They said he was fine!" Miya was clearly upset,, we tried calming her down "They did... But Miya,, this is the hospital after all, one day he could be amazingly fine the next,, we could lose him" as I spoke I know it just kept hurting her...

"This is unfair!" Miya growled,, "There's no fucking way am I losing my brother!". "We know you don't want to lose him,, we don't either." Kaurin spoke in his soft voice,, "But there is no way of fixing him..." I spoke.

~Miya's pov~

I looked over at Laurien,, "What do you mean there is no way of fixing him?!" My voice began to rise. "It's the honest truth! Remember one of our friends... Ugh,, what's her name again?!" Laurien hit the sides of her head. "Relax" Kaurin said

I looked over at Kaurin,, he wasn't showing any sadness,, or he might have some.. But just wasn't showing it to us.

"Laurien,, relax... You'll find out eventually... Those memories of yours outta help you out!" Sirya spoke in a sweet tone.

I looked at Sirya,, tears were welling in her eyes,, "Don't cry..." I spoke "Hopefully things will get better." Kaurin spoke

"All we can do is hope..." Laurien spoke... "For now" We all said in unison.

~Laurien's pov~

I smiled,, "Though it hasn't happened it soon will,, I watch over you,, don't cry cause I'm gone,, smile because fate took me as your guardian." I sang softly "We'll meet in the future,, not alone. We'll be together like it's the last time. I'm here for you,, don't go because you're not alone... I'm here" I then stopped singing after that last part,, I had finished everything especially homework. I put everything away and crawled into bed

"Let's hope we meet again,, Milia" I smiled and fell asleep

Life always has downfalls,, just like wishing wells... As I thought,, walking to the hospital,, making sure I didn't hit anybody.

People say Life is a mystery... Which is true... For some people at least...

Miya is still upset,, she wished for one thing last night... For her brother to get better. I walked up the steps and turned around,, sighing,, seeing as no one was around it was no point of staying. I hit the fourth floor

The one Miya is on,, with her brother. I honestly can't remember what life was without them

"A five year old with a heart condition?! Are you serious?!" My mother screamed,, she wasn't happy.

I went to her and hugged her,, I was small but I was able to hug her legs. She picked me up.

"Ma'am,, I promise we can fix your daughter. Leave her in our hands."

The nurse smiles,, after that about four to five small kids popped out.

"Ooo! Look another kid! I wonder if they can be our friend!" One of the girls smiled.

"F-friend?" I stuttered out. The girl nodded.

"Ma'am please..." The nurse held her hands out.

"Fine." My mother handed me over to the nurse

~Memory Over~

Mmm,, thinking about it now, Miya was so quiet... Sirya was a smiling happy girl,, but now... They're both so... Dull... What happened to my friends

Let me wish upon a star,, I can soon meet Milia.

Tears filled my eyes,, next thing I know,, I got back hugged,, by my best friend Sirya. I tried to smile,,

"I know,, Laurien,, it's hard without Milia..." Sirya spoke softly

"But why her?! She was so perfect! She was my everything! My best friend! I never wanted to lose her! She cared I did too! All I want is my best friend back!" I screamed,, already crying.

"Relax Laurien... Maybe... Maybe we can go to Milia's gravesite tomorrow... Let's wish the gods will let us. I nod

~Timeskip 12 hours~

It is now almost 11 pm, I sigh,, placing down my book bag,, and laying on my bed. I was thinking

'What could be worse than this? The fact I have to face life without my best friend or... I won't see her for awhile... Maybe both"

Why can't this nightmare be over?

I whimpered,, and closed my eyes. "Goodnight,, Milia,, I hope to see you soon..." With that I closed my eyes,, ready for sleep... 'Goodnight Milia' I thought and fell asleep.
