15 years ago, in 2001

That day was rainy day.

My dad said to our housemaid,

"Please take care of our daughter, we will come back soon".

Saying this to our grandma,(she is housemaid, I called her grandma) my mom and dad were gone. They were hurry. I didn't knew why and where they were going. And also I didn't asked. That time, I was about 6 years old.

That day my mom and dad were not came back home. When the night comes, grandma and I were eating dinner.

I asked to her,

"Grandma, where's mom and dad?"

Grandma said,

"They are going to work, they will come back soon".

Saying this and smile.

After eating dinner, I played my Barbie in the drawing room and little later I fell asleep. Grandma put me to bed.

Next day,

When the morning comes.. , I heard a sobbing sound. I came out from my bedroom.

In the drawing room, I saw my grandma was crying. In her hand, she grabs the newspaper tightly..and look down to it.

I didn't knew why she was crying.

So, I asked her,

"Grandma, why are you crying? "

After hearing my voice, grandma looks up and then she hugs me and start crying again loudly.

"Grandma, what's going on? why are you crying?" i asked her.

She says with sobbing,

"Lily,...hikk..hik....Lil..lyy..your..your mom and dad...."

She cried again.

I was panicking to hear that.

I asked again,

"Grandma, please don't cry. Just tell me what's going on to my mom and dad?"

My eyes were watery.

"yo..your, mom and dad was died yesterday in car accident", she said in trembling voice.

After hearing my grandma's word I also cried.....

I was growing day by day. Grandma also older and weaker day by day.

Few years later..

In 2008, when I was 13 years old.

At that time I was studying in class 8 .

Grandma and I were eating lunch, after finished eating,

"Grandma, I have to go to school, bye bye"

saying this and I went to school.

I reached the school.. teacher teaches us lesson.

After finished the class,

In our school break, one of my friend asked me,

"Is it true? that they said your mom and dad were died in car accident".

I said, "yea...yes,..so what? "

She said, "nothing, I am just asking"

Then she was gone, she was chatting, murmuring with them about me.

When I was out from the class, they look at me and murmuring, talking behind me. I was so sad..i have no close friend in school too.

I came back home with watery eyes..when I reached my home, grandma was waiting me in our drawing room.

I saw a handsome male robot sitting beside her. I forgot all sadness, that I met in school, after seeing the robot.

First, I thought that, it was a doll but grandma told me that, that was not a doll, that was robot.

That's looks like reality, he was an adult robot. He can walk, sit, doing works, smile, writing, everything but he can't talk.

"Grandma, where did you get this robot?", I asked her.

She answered, "I buy it for you."

"Thank you, grandma", I said.

" Before your mom and dad were died, they kept lot of moneys for you. I buy this from that money. Look, I am old now, I am weaker day by day..if I died one day..this robot will take care of you", grandma said again.

" ohh!! grandma don't say like that, you will never die..you will live thousand years", I said to her and hugs her.

While I am hugging her, the robot patting me on my shoulder. I turn my head, he gave me a paper.

In that paper he wrote, " go change your clothes, I'll make your food".

After seeing the letter, I said to him,

" okay".

While I am changing my clothes, the robot entered my room.

"shitt!! why are you entered my room without permission? knock before you come in..ok!", I said to him.

He nod and get out from my room.

After changing my clothes, I came out and went to the kitchen.

He sat on a chair and waits me. In his hand, he grabs a diary and a pen. When he sees that I am coming, he start writing, I didn't knew what he was writing.

He shows me what he wrote,

"I am sorry, that I came to your room without your permission.. please forgive me. Here is your food that I made. I don't know, it would be tasty or not ", he wrote on the diary.

I said to him, " it's okay, I am not angry about that..I am just little shy..hehe..

it's not a problem, because you are a robot not human..so I don't mind. Anyway, thanks for the food".

He smile.

I started eating but he sits before me and stared at me.

"why are you staring me? am i look pretty?.. Don't stare me while I am eating. It looks like you wanna eat. Do you wanna eat?", i asked him.

And he shake his head.

After eating my food I came out from our kitchen, i went to the drawing and sitting with my grandma.

And the robot was washing the utensils.

He came out and he was also sitting at the side of me. Grandma was also felling asleep.

I said to the robot,

"Let's go for a walk", and then he nod.

We came out from our house..

we sat on a street bench under the tree.

I talk to him..,

" what's your name?"

He wrote to the diary and show me,

"I don't have any name"

I said,

"Then, I'll call you Luke from now"

and he nod.

"How old are you?", I asked him again.

He wrote, "I am very older than you, but I can't remember my exact years"

I said, " okay.."

In 2014, when I was 19..

Grandma also died in nightmare.

Luke took care of me, he cooked for me. And he teaches lessons, maths problems, etc...

After school, when I came back home..he bought a cake, i forgot that, that day was my birthday, i don't know how he knew. We celebrated.

In that night he showed me surprised. He closed my eyes by his hand. He brought me near the window. When he opened my eyes, little later I saw fireworks. I thank him and he smile.

He wrote something on his diary and show me.

He wrote, "I love you, do you love me?"

I said, "I.. I don't know, I have to go to washroom"

Saying this and I went to washroom. I thought on my mind, "yes, I love him too but he's not human how could it be possible? "

I came out from washroom and said to him,

"Luke, thank you so much for today that you treat me..I feel so sleepy..hummm!!(yawning) goodnight"

saying this to him and he nod, I went to my bedroom.

I thought he was not sleeping because he is a robot but next day when I woke up.. he was sleeping on sofa.

In my mind i thought,

" why is he sleeping? Is robot can sleep?"

I went to my room and took out my blanket. And then, i covered him.

While he was sleeping, i brushed my teeth, washed my faced.

And then, that day I made breakfast for the first time.

He woke up and coming to kitchen. When he sees me that i was making breakfast, he pushed me in the drawing room and wrote again,

" sit here don't do anything, I'll do it for you"

and I said, "for today, I'll cook for you."

He shake his head.

I asked him,

"why??... grandma was also, she always cooked for our family, you also cooked for me since, I was 13, i hadn't been cooking. So, I'll cook for today.."

That time he nod.

I cooked that day but I can't cooking, so he taught me how to cook.

In 2021, on valentine's day...

He gave me a bunch of red Roses and also a letter.

I read the letter, he wrote,

" I really love you.. don't you ever love me?"

That time I said him, " yes, I do love you"

Then he smile and hugs me.

In 2017, when I was 22..

One night while i was eating..he wrote again in his diary.

I asked him,

" what are you writing?"

He shows me what he wrote,

" I'll say something today..."

I said to him, " say it.. what's that?"

This time he can speak, he can talk.

He said, " Lily, actually I am a human being"

I said to him surprisingly,

" oh!! my god..you..you can speak??"

He said, " I don't know. I can't speak before..but now I can speak...I had a cursed from dad this cursed will disappear when true love comes. So, this means, you really loves me. That's why I can speak..the curse is disappeared. I become a human again."

Saying this word and kiss me, hugs me.

He said again, "will you marry me?"

I said, "yes, I do"

2 years later, when I was 25..

We were getting married, on the night of wedding day,

"Umm...how old are you exactly?", I asked to him again.

"I said before, I can't remember..it's too many years ago. I think about 20 years older than you. I don't know exactly", he answered.

2 years later after wedding, in 2022..

We have our baby girl. Then, we live happily ever after...
