Chapter 1 UNKNOWN CALL

IN FRANCE

Unknown-My dear granddaughter .Come.....come back I am dying.

Angelina stood stunned with shook and asked in an anxious voice “Granny, is that you?”

Unknown-..............(There was no response from the other side )

Angelina-Hello granny, hello....hello.....Are you there? (And as the call ended, Angelina stood there with grave despair, motionlessly and tears started to roll down her cheeks without an end)

Living in this foreign land (FRANCE) for 5years, never have she heard from her parents not to mention her relatives but just the day after her 21st birthday, she heard the voice of someone from her native land, for the first time, in these 5 years.

Next morning

IN THE AIRPORT OF S CITY

“Hello butler Mo I am here, where are you?” asked Angelina on the phone looking here and there with a pair of beautiful, keen and anxious eyes.

“Young mistress, I am standing at the door of the airport in front of a black car, waiting for your arrival” said butler Mo in a very respectful ascent.

“OK” replied Angelina and makes her way towards the front exit of the airport gracefully like self sufficient female general who is independent and is ever ready to fight a war but yet looks as warm as the sun shine.

Angelina- Butler Mo I am here, now let’s go to the Savage Mansion as soon as possible. Granny Savage probably didn’t sound alright over the phone.

Butler Mo-As you wish Young Mistress.

Looking out of the window, on the way to the Savage Mansion, all kind of thoughts were flowing into and out of Angelina’s head and suddenly Angelina passed a gentle smile looking at a pet shop which used to be a cafe 4 years ago.

Butler Mo looking curiously at Angelina, who was looking and smiling at the scene from the window and when Angelina notices his gaze towards her, she smiled at Butler Mo again and said “It is said that things are prone to change with time as the saying goes Change Is The Rule Of Nature......

But as for people no matter what others say I don’t believe that, because people never change, they either progress towards the way they already follow or change their Coarse in a different direction, so as that person’s habits and personality. It is always us who change their point of view towards them because of some facts and secrets we get to know as the time passes by. Don’t you agree Butler Mo”

When Angelina stopped speaking she notices, the atmosphere in the car became dense and as silent as a night without any star or moon in the sky and when she looked at Butler MO again he seemed so confused as if he had became dumb and deaf.

So as to break the ice and lighten the atmosphere she laughed and said “Hahaha please ignore my nonsense....”

But butler Mo interrupted and said “Young Mistress, Do you mean to say, People never change but what change is our point of view towards them?”

Angelina stared at Butler Mo anxious and doubtfully and said “What I spoke just now didn’t literally mean anything” and so as to change the subject of discussion she hurriedly looked outside the window and said “seems like we are about to arrived.”

When the car stopped at the gate of Savage Mansion, she saw two separate rows of maids and guards of the mansion dressed formally waiting for her arrival to greet her, but Angelina ignored them and run towards the main hall of the mansion shouting loudly “granny””grandma”, “granny where are you?”

But the thing she saw make her stood still with shook and she found herself unable to utter a single word.

She saw Granny Savage coming down the stairs looking hale and healthy. “Granny, are you alright? What happened?” “Should I call a doctor for you?” asked Angelina in a deeply anxious and low voice.

Grandma replied “No need for a doctor my dear and, please forgave me for lying.”

Angelina didn’t even get a single word that granny Savage told her and said curiously “Granny, what are you talking about I am not getting it, please make it clear.”

Granny held Angelina’s hand and drag her gently towards the sofa and said “Come here, sit down with me, I have an important issue to discuss with you my dear.” and stroke Angelina’s hand with great gentleness.

Just at that time Butler Mo came, bowed and said “Mistress, the funeral is already done.” in a sorrowful and reluctant manner.

Angelina pulled her hand out from grandma’s hands and stand up abruptly and asked in a very anxious and low voice “Whose funeral is there today” to butler Mo.

Butler Mo dare neither look nor speak to Angelina and stood their motionlessly.

Seeing this behaviour of butler Mo Angelina turned towards granny Savage and asked “What funeral granny? Who died?”

Grandma Savage replied reluctantly to Angelina “My condolences dear, Your parents are no more!”

CHAPTER 2 THE OATH OF REVENGE

After a long period of silence there burst a loud laughter piercing the wind and breaking the silence and Angelina replied “Hahaha! Granny you almost got me there. Wow! your acting have improved since the last time. I almost believed it haahaahaa.”

At that moment, Angelina laughed so hard that she was moved to tears, she could not believe what she had heard, she simply thought that it was a joke.

But after the loud echoing laugh of the ignorant girl, the entire hall again move to a dead silence and so as to avoid the moment of silence Angelina looked up and saw granny’s and butler Mo’s face and after seeing their melancholy face, she finally started to get what was actually happening but she still denied to believe it.

“It ...it... it is a prank right?” said Angelina in a low whisper, hardly audible.

There was no response, it was just as she was the last person on the Earth, alone, scared and screaming hoarse but there was no one to answer her question at the very moment filled with terror.

“Granny, butler Mo you...you are just scaring me because I didn’t came to meet you all for all these years. Right? I swear that I won’t ever do that again, please for god’s sake tell me that it’s a joke.”

Her entire body was trembling with fear, yet she summoned up her courage to speak, her voice was not even properly audible, every single word of her was shaking and there was a glimpse of terror in her melancholy voice.

Butler Mo replied “young miss, I have investigated it. There was an anonymous scheme of transfer of the Corporation’s shares but it failed. So as to catch the culprit red handed Mr. And Mrs. Fin left the z country immediately and on their way there, they met a mishap and their plane exploded above the Pacific Ocean. The plane was exploded into pieces of chunks, scattered everywhere and their bodies were nowhere to be found.

As a result the investigation was closed and the rescue team was retreated concluding that all the passengers of the flight were dead.”

Angelina was sitting in the sofa crying miserably from inside, tears were rolling down her cheeks endlessly but there was no voice coming out from her larynx.

Granny said “I got the information from my secret sources that the string puller behind the crises of the Fin Corporation 5 years ago and this incident is”

Angelina interrupted “is my uncle.”

Granny was shocked and said “WHAT! How did you know that?”

“I knew it would happen sooner or later but never would have expected that it would be this soon” replied Angelina.

Granny shook Angelina’s shoulder rashly and asked “tell me Angelina, have you known it all along, did your parents told you about it before you went to France?

No, but how is it possible we discussed it thoroughly and to protect you they decided to hide it from you and sent you to France cutting off all their connections with you so that he won’t be able to reach you. But then how did you know about?”

“I heard about all these stuffs in that secret meeting held 5 years ago by coincidence, that’s why I never denied to sign that contract between us and thereafter never tried to contact anyone from the Z city.” replied Angelina

Grandma hugged Angelina and said “I am sorry we didn’t wanted you to know about it as you were still a kid back then and it would harm you but we never knew that you already knew about it. You must have felt terrible knowing everything but was still unable to do anything."

"But still, my dear, at this time, it may sound a little selfish to you but I want you to take over the Fin Corporation as soon as possible.” pushing Angelina away gently as she ended speaking.

Angelina passed a gentle smile looking affectionately at granny though her eyes were filled with tears and said “Don’t worry granny I have always hoped for the best but prepared for the worst. Not only would I take back what belongs to me but also avenge my parents.”

“I would help you with everything be it the inheritance or the revenge” said granny in a vicious yet well principled order.

Angelina restlessly stood up and spoke up in an irritated way as she were a completely different person ........

“Thank you but NOO It’s my revenge and I would take it on my own.”

Granny was shocked to see her ferocious attitude, her face was just as innocent and pathetic as a fallen angel but at that time those black starry eyes filled with regret and hatred were not something to be neglected, the atmosphere became so cramped that, granny and Butler Mo started to feel a sense of oppression and could not utter a single word.

Angelina continued.......

“You have tortured my parents to death, but since you didn’t kill me up till now, I swear I would make you regret being born in this world.”

Her eyes turned red filled with tears, but there was no sign of terror in them; her nose turned red too; her delicate and scarlet coloured lips were trembling because, to hold her terrifying scream she bit them until they started to bleed and she continued ......

“You have had enjoyed yourself enough, but now it’s my turn ....

I waited for 5 years because I believe that....

"REVENGE IS THE DISH BEST SERVE COLD."

CHAPTER 3

GRANNY’S TRICKY TRAP

NEXT MORNING

“Granny, Butler Mo, good morning” greeted Angelina enthusiastically.

Dressed in a very classy and formal attire with fully sleeved and high neck formal white shirt and a pair of black skin tight pants, in a manner that is so conservative that even her snowy white feet were covered with a pair of black socks and her long, slender and beautiful fingers were hardly visible.

Her long silk like bangs were slightly covering almost half proportion of her eyes, yet the pair of black starry eyes were beautifully visible just as the clouds can’t hide the moon.

Most of her body was covered except her lips, nose and slightly visible eyes. Yet they were enchanting enough to steal a second gaze.

“unn hmm” granny was a little bit surprised to see her so energetic as if nothing had happened yesterday “good morning, come have some breakfast.” replied granny with a simple smile.

For some time Butler Mo was enchanted with her beautiful appearance and elegant aura.

Actually it was not his fault at all, now she doesn’t look like a beautiful and young teenage girl like yesterday but an elegant and profound lady.

“Good morning, Young mistress.” greeted Butler MO with a gaze of appreciation.

Angelina replied “umm no no no imm runne latee” (i am running late) while stuffing a piece of bread in her mouth.

Granny asked curiously, the reason, for her to be in a hurry “What happened? What’s with the rush?”

“Umm hmm” get chocked while swallowing the bread in a rush “There is a share holders meeting for the presidential candidate of Fin Corporation in absence of the heir of the next generation aka me, so the most suitable candidate now is my father’s sworn brother aka my uncle. So I can’t just sit still and watch him get his way so easily.”

Granny grinned and said “ohhh!” in an overly surprised tone.

“It must be that old cunning fox. Hmm! He can’t even wait anymore” said Angelina in a sarcastic tone while drinking water in a hurry.

“No, it’s me” replied granny very, very overly frankly.

...

“whoosh! Hm hm ( cough) What?!!” Angelina gurgle the water in her mouth and asked with astonishment.

“yeah! I thought that since you already agreed to take over the company, then we should do it as soon as possible, before, what do you call your uncle just now hmmm oh! Yeah cunning old fox, before that old cunning fox makes more mess of your parents hard earned business.” replied Granny.

“What? But don’t you think that it’s.....it is way too fast” asked Angelina.

“OH! My dear granddaughter, since your parents left, you are now my responsibility. I am getting old now. You have to support my poor family in the future so you have to stand on your own feet.” cried granny, dramatically really, very dramatically without even a drop of tear in her eyes.

Angelina thought (oh my god! This old hag’s acting skills have really improved a lot, it is A-list even the award winning actors are no match for her. And what’s with supporting the poor family, if you are poor then what are we? For God’s sake, not only the Z city but in the entire country, you are the most healthy and wealthy family name, since God knows when.)

“And and what if I suddenly die someday!” cried granny in a dramatic way, as dramatic as possible.

(OMG! What a 1st class acting that almost got me) thought Angelina but replied “OK OK Granny I got it. You care for me, alright. I am going now to fulfil your wish as soon as possible.”

Granny replied in hmm and asked “Do you know the way there? I will arrange a Chauffer for you.”

“No need granny, just lend me a car to drive there” asked Angelina.

“Why?” asked granny with an unpleasant look.

“I don’t have any now, so...Yeah I would buy one myself by today evening itself.” replied Angelina without making any eye contact, because of her self sufficient personality.

“Na na na, you definitely got me wrong. What I meant is why don’t you want the chauffer to accompany you?”

“Probably because I don’t like to depend on others and, Yeah, also because I did some research yesterday about the series of changes and development that occurred in the z city, in these past 5 years, so I want to see it for myself” replied Angelina knowledgably, adjusting her false specs (nerdy ones) she just wore casually to match with her outfit.....

[well more specifically to not look too much eye-catching and to look a bit ugly and nerdy to avoid being disturbed].......

(NOTE)- Well let’s leave the formality and get it straight: to avoid attracting the opposite sex and sometimes even the same sex get attracted too, cause such a big trouble to reject all of them

(oops! Slip of tongue, I mean to avoid.....

unnecessary character’s attraction as the ML already has a lot of love rivals)

“OH! I see.” said granny with an affectionate gaze.

“And you know what, you are way more experienced than that arrogant brat of mine, even without any professional training. Good-Good, seems like I have a good insight. ”

“Huh? Whatever, Ok then I will make a move first.” replied Angelina while wearing her formal coat and shoes.

“Hmm then meet you at the meeting.” replied granny.
