"There would be classes till noon before the sports meet is to be held" came an announcement from the Dean.

"Shoot" 😳suddenly Cassie stood from her chair. Her friends enquired what the problem was. "I didn't know there would be classes today and so I didn't bring any books with me" Said Cassie. she seemed upset so her friends we're about to comfort her. Suddenly she jumped from her seat "I know" when she came to sense she saw every one staring at her. she was embarrassed "sorry everyone please continue with your business don't mind me".

Her friend,Mandy asked; " what's your plan Cassie

"Don't you remember I have a cousin who is a senior her she would help me."

" But Cassie why bother her for such a trivial matter"

" Oh she wouldn't mind it "

Cassie and her friend Mandy went to see her cousin(Cassie dragged Mandy with her to see her cousin) . she saw her talking to a classmate.

" Hey cousin what's up? "

she replied " hey cassie. it has been long since I saw you. how are you Mandy? "

"I'm fine senior"

Cassie:"ya ya I know. how are you're boyfriends😏"

Mia(cousin) "Ha they are fine you know I've been checking out a new guy recently and I need your help"

cassie; " ooh for that I can help you but now if you have an extra notebook lent it to me"

Mia:" notebook? why do you want a notebook? "

Cassie:" I didn't bring any and I need it. give me a notebook please 😫🙏🙏💓"

Mia😅: "I don't have a notebook"

cassie" but I need it. you're my sister do something 🙇‍♀. "

Mia: " don't show you're puppy face to me"

cassie:"please please please please.🙏🙏.. "

Mandy: senior she won't leave you alone until you give her a notebook from somewhere"

Mia was really annoyed but she thought of someone who would have bought a book" I have someone who would have bought an extra notebook come with me "

"okayy"

(poor Cassie little did she know that the person she was about to meet was about to give her a reply big headache)

Her sister went inside a classroom Cassie was standing outside. While waiting for her sister some unfamiliar chills ran through her she didn't know what it was. Cassie thought( why is it taking her so long. what was this feeling I just had aah I don't know) Mia finally came out side but with her came another boy.He was a handsome senior and Cassie felt something strange inside her. Mia said " meet jack he is my junior "

Cassie( Aah who is he? is he the new guy who Mia mentioned? but he is younger than her?)

Mandy:" Cassie Cassie "

Cassie: O yeah?

Mandy: what are you thinking?

Cassie : nothing

Mia : anyway here is your book. and it is his book so don't forget to return it to him

Cassie : oh thanks senior for lenting me your book

jack seemed to not care much he was really uninterested

Mandy spoting the awkwardness broke the silence " ok bye it time for class come on let's go"

Cassie: okay see you later Mia ( how did Mia like him? )

Even though she got a book it was useless as Mandy first told her There was no class all were enjoying Cassie's effort to get a book to not get into the teachers nerve were all waist but as the sports Meet went by she forgot about the book she borrowed until she was right about to leave Mandy reminded her" hey did you return the notebook you borrowed from that senior"

Cassie: oops I totally forgot gotta hurry before he leaves.

she ran as she didn't wanna miss him as she reached his classroom she was heavily panting ( aah who the hell told to build such a huge building my legs are killing me)

She was too busy catching her breath suddenly jack saw her and he knew she came to return his book.

he went to her. As she was crouched down she saw a pair of shoes in front of her suddenly she looked up and was on a shock to see him really close to her she was about to fall but at the right time he caught her they both stared at each other for a moment and suddenly they realised the position they were in and seperated bot were embarrassed.

Cassie : sorry I slipped here is your book

jack: thanks for bringing it

Cassie : uh ok see ya

Cassie ran as fast as she can to hide her red flushed face. ( whoa that was totally awkward)

at the time Jack's friends saw this and came to him " oh man that was awesome. you caught her really quick. is there something going on between you too"

"oh no nothing she just came to return my book"( why do these guys have to be this awkward)

The next day Mia sent her friend to call cassie. so she went to her. And she saw her and that time she remembered jack she asked mia " was he the one you were talking about yesterday? " "what who? " oh you know that jack ."

Mia was confused " what about him?"

Cassie; " you told me you had a crush on someone yesterday was it him? "

while Cassie was asking suddenly jack came behind her and she was unaware of it Mia looked at him as she heard Cassie's question. But he gestured her to not say anything and go with the flow. Poor Cassie lost in conversation continued " you know he is not right for you. he is younger than you" Mia asked " what is the problem of being younger than me it's just one year difference! "

cassie; " oh nothing that's not what I'm saying he is kinda arrogant I guess, and don't you have someone already" Suddenly jack spoke" oh so I'm arrogant huh? " Cassie froze in her place 😅 " aah JAC... SENIOR we didn't say anything"

Jack: " ya I heard that"

😅( oh god please get me out of here why don't you see your surrounding before speaking you fool Cassie) she cursed herself. " I forgot I have an important task to complete that teacher gave I'm going byee.. "

Mia; " Cassie wait I wanted your help. How can you leave me now! "

As she was about to turn and leave Jack whispered in her ears " I'm not the one Mia loves for your concern " his breath made her ears all red she bid goodbye as fast as she can and left. As Cassie left Mia stared right at Jack. " WHAT❓ " asked Jack. " oh nothing just wondering if you guys would ever help me or start something of you're own" "oh shut up" Said Jack.

Jack has met many girls and he was the type who would say " I love you " to a girl and 2 days later be with another( note: he was a player)

But the feeling he had when he saw Cassie was different and he couldn't quite understand it. It was a first for him.

At the time Cassie was cursing him for his arrogance she had a full mind to beat him up.

That evening Cassie went to Mia as she had promised to help her . As she approached Mia she saw Jack with her. She wanted to avoid him ( why is he here) she turned to leave without them noticing but Mia saw her and called her ( damn Mia you always see me during the wrong time) she went near them "Ya what happened why did you call? " " Did you forget ? you told me you would help me make a plan to meet Max"

Cassie; "ya I remember"

Jack suddenly intruded and said hi. Cassie greeted him and pulled Mia Aside. " Why is he here? " " he came to help me like you" said Mia.

Cassie ; " what? everytime I helped you he wasn't there then what is special this time?"

Mia ; " oh you're wrong you plans were all carried out with the help of him. it's just I haven't told you about his help yet"

Jack: " Is there a problem. you called me here and now both of you are completely avoiding me"

Mia; " oh nothing let's continue"

They started discussing the plan to help Mia meet Max and all during the discussion Cassie and Jack were all against each other's opinion they were making a fuss about everything and Mia was totally gonna blow up. She caught both of their ears and by pinching it said" if you both wont stop I would kill you both. stop arguing and come with a plan" Jack and Cassie stoped at once Mia said" Cassie you say your plan and Jack you say yours we can look at both and come with a better one"
