They Met
**The following chapter mentions bullying amongst kids. Please avoid reading if you're sensitive to such issues.**
I cried hard backing away from the two boys in the playground when they tried to approach me
This is not the first time, But I've always been so scared around people, around boys. It's like the opposite gender creeps the freak out of me.
The two boys looked at each other and exchanged some kind of notorious laugh. Now that I think about it they just wanted to play with me that day in the playground. But looking at me, so scared of those boys, they thought they could have some fun of their own.
It's okay with me as long as they don't undress me and touch me in an inappropriate manner.
The one guy who was taller in height suddenly grabbed my wrist and started to pull me closer
Victor
Looks like you're scared of us after all?
Hugo
That's even more fun because now we get to boss around you!
They both laughed as I cried in agony.
Why am I so weak? Why can't I fight back? Why am I like this?
I'm just twelve years old after all.
Maybe it's because of what happened a year ago. I still get goosebumps remembering those faces from the past. And right now, these boys, they resembled those faces a lot
Victor
Come on! We won't hurt you. Just come and play with us.
Hugo
And we'll tell everyone at school that you're our girlfriend.
There are broken pieces in me that didn't let me.
Hugo
We'll have a lot of fun together!
They started dragging me alongwith them, I started struggling and then the shorter one in height slapped me hard across my face.
I covered my swollen cheek with my palm, tears rolled down my eyes. I stopped struggling but cried more and more.
Iris
I d-dont like y-you two.
I cried and this was the time when the taller one hit me on the other side of my face. I immediately lost my balance with that and fell on ground.
Victor
You've got no say pretty girl! We know what would make you obey us.
Hugo
Now be a good girl and follow what we say or else we will both beat you to pulp!
They both started laughing meanwhile I, on ground kept crying like that.
Suddenly a more dominant voice boomed through the playground making those two laughing at me go numb for a while.
Zephyr
What the heck is going on here?! Are you two bullying her?
The expressions on the taller boy's face turned opposite as he looked a little scared now.
I looked up at the boy at my rescue and there he was Zephyr Martin, the boy I fell in love with the moment I met him.
Hugo
N-no sir! We weren't bullying her. We're all classmates. She's our friend. We were playing together.
Theodore
It doesn't look like she was happy playing with you two?
The other boy and perhaps Zephyr's friend said and approached me with a plain white handkerchief.
I looked at the handkerchief and then at him.
This was the first time after a long long time that I wasn't scared of the opposite gender. Theodore Izyslavich and Zephyr Martin were the only ones I was comfortable with from the very moment we met each other.
