It was the first day of my new high school and I was super duper excited. I thought I will be received by my friend Ethan, but I ws received by rumors.

"Hey do u know? The senior idol is in hospital"

"Omg! what happened?"

"He saw Grim Brothers in school swimming pool last night"

I was listening to the whole thing while walking up to school's entry gate. I was really busy in thinking 'Grim Brothers' that I didn't noticed Ethan standing in front of me.

"Owch!"

"Sorry"

"Stop day dreaming Eireni!" Ethan said.

"Ha"

"by-the-way welcome to our school"

"Thank-"

"Let me introduce them" he cuts me "The are Harry, Zion, Eugene and Alex"

"Hi, nice to meet you all" I said. There was no reply, they were staring at me coldly. Suddenly Zion and Alex pulled me inside.

"What are you doing?" I asked surprisingly.

"Just protecting you from evil eye" Zion replied.

"Evil what?" I asked.

"You know our school is possessed by Ghost" mocked Alex.

"Stop joking around" Zion said by hitting Alex.

"Ow, sorry bro!"

"There is no ghost except-"

"Why are they silent?" I asked by pointing towards Harry and Eugene.

"I don't know. Maybe silent fasting" Ethan replied.

"Are you guys planning to stay here? Get in class or else Mr. Ghosty will haunt us down" Eugene said.

"You can talk!?" I said surprisingly.

"Of course I can!" Eugene replied annoyingly.

"OH great! by-the-way who is Mr. Ghosty?" I asked

"He is our home room teacher and the only ghost of our school" Ethan replied.

"Ya A BLOOD THIRST GHOST!!" Alex commented.

We all laughed at his jock.Then Harry saw Mr. Ghosty coming form far, he cried "GUYS!! MR. GHOSTY!!!!!!!"

We all ran towards class as we are Chetahs.

Our classroom had only 9 students, including me. Because our class was considered as the class of elite students [ class no 109, I-A]. But what was I doing there? I wasn't elite at all! So I think to thank Ethan and I did same.

"Hey! there's nothing to thank. We are friends" He replied.

I noticed two twins sitting in the first bench of last row. I asked Zion "Who are they?"

He replied "they are the most silent students of our school, there names are Meuzene and Magene".

"You mean mute?" I asked

"Don't know, they never talked to us nor they have any friends." replied Harry.

I wanted to talk to those twins but Mr. Ghosty entered the class. All went to there desks except me.

"Class we have a new student here" he announced and said "introduced yourself".

"I am Eireni. I'm 18 and my father is the editor of Crime times 9 at Daily NEWS pvt. lt" I introduced. Mr.Ghosty told me to sit behind and beside Zion and Ethan. And I did same. Mr. Ghosty started teaching "Let the wavelength of light beam be @#$^&". I was really busy in studying that I didn't noticed a guy sleeping at the bench behind me, until he pulled my hair unknowingly. I turned back to look who did that with full. confidence of no one behind me. And when I turned back I saw a guy with red eye which was captivating and really handsome. But as a reflex action of seeing someone unexpectedly I screamed " AHH.....GHOST!!!".

Everyone looked at us .Mr. Ghosty became so annoyed, he said "LAWRENCE! you are AGIN sleeping in my class!? GET OUT NOW!!". He did as teacher said. Ethan wanted to control his laugh but he was trying to control my tears.

Zion said "Don't worry Eiru, he was born with 3 silver spoons in his mouth"

"So who is he?" I asked.

"He is not a ghost" Harry laughed.

"Huh! come on it was just a reflex action of her by seeing someone unexpectedly. It's not her fault, He was the one who was sleeping." Eugene said.

"I bet he was a chameleon in his previous life" Alex said.

"by-the-way Eiru! where's your dad?" Ethan asked.

"Oh he is at Italy for a new case history." I replied.

"Case? what kind of case?" Alex asked.

"But you said your Father works at Daily NEWS" Eugene asked.

"Yes he do. but that's his part time. He is a private Detective of Locksnsons group. You may know him if I tell you his name" I replied.

"What's his name?" Harry asked.

"Retired Lt col Aubrey Dé Trezi". Ethan said.

"Come on don't kidd us. You are the daughter of Aubrey King?" They asked surprisingly.

"Yeah I am, but plz keep it secret. I hate people knowing me cuz of him. I want people to know for me" I said.

"Sure we will" They replied.

"WHAT ARE U KIDS TALKING? DON'T YOU KNOW NO TALKING IN MY CLASS?" Mr. Ghosty yelled loud at us.

"Sorry sir" We said.

"Get out of my class except Eireni. This is the first warning for you kid" Mr. Ghosty said.

"Okay sir" I said and smirked a smile toward those monkey friends of mine who is in punishment.

I read there eyes as "Eireni!! We will see you!"

I laughed and sit back. Mr. Ghosty asked few questions to Magene and Meuzene. They didn't said anything. They just wrote down them in blackboard. "So they are really mute kids" I thought "God why u make such cute guys like this?". I don't know why I started feeling strange towards their attitude with the suspect. Maybe because I was thinking about 'Grim Brothers' all the time. Something is fishy are they them? Or maybe I'm just suspecting them to be. As it was the first time I fe.t that.

My monkey friends are really enjoying their punishment by skipping class. I also want to be with them. Ahh..... I hate physics. Gimme a break Mr. Ghosty.

Second period started. We all went to school ground. Meuzene and Magene were sitting under the tree with dull eyes, there were no signs of Lawrence and we were standing to decide game.

"Alex, where is girls restroom?" I asked.

"Oh, go straight then turn left, then straight then turn right and other right then left and right and at the corner right you will see the right one" he replied.

I was standing with a confused face with 3 seconds and said "Ah, never mind. I'll find it myself". And I rushed. As there was no girls in our class, I had to go by myself.

I did as Alex said. I went straight then turned left, then straight then turned right and other right and I bumped into someone. I looked up to saw whome I bumped to. It was Lawrence wearing lab coat with lab glasses and rubber gloves and standing in front of chemistry lab.

"Sorry" I said by looking straight into his eyes. He stared at me coldly. Somehow he get to know that I need to use restroom. He pointed as he's saying "there, now bet out of my eyesight".

"Thank you" I said and rushed to restroom.

"God, is he also mute?" I asked to God. I don't know what he replied. Then a thought strikes me "What was he doing in chemistry lab? was he preparing some kind of.....ATOMIC BOMB?". Haha I know I'm crazy but still what was he doing there?

"Omg really? the boy who died 2 weeks ago had a sample of chemical in his body?!"

"Yes....but the one who saw it said something was eating the body".

"eating the body?" I thought and left towards ground where those monkeys were waiting.

As I entered the ground Harry leaped into me and asked "what happened? what takes you long to come out?".

"did someone bullied you?" Eugene asked by holding a thick stick.

I told them what happened. After hearing it their faces was like they saw something which can happen when sun rises from west!.

"So he let you go?" Eugene asked.

"Yeah...why?" I said.

"Cuz most of the time when someone bumps into him. He won't let them come back alive!" Harry said.

"Maybe he let you go because you are the only girl of our class" commented Ethan.

"Stop joking around!" I said by pulling his cheeks really hard.

"Ow, sowrry madamew" Ethan replied. We all laughed so hard that Alex fell down.

"Alex, are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah" he replied.

Meuzene and Magene look at us. I saw them looking towards each other after looking at us. I went towards them as asked "Wanna join us?". They didn't replied.

"If you want you both can join us" I said with a warm smile.

I'm sure everyone can see my angelic version except Ethan. He is my childhood friend not normal friend a bestfriend.

"Guys I want to ask you all something!!" I said to my friends.

"Yeah, what's it?" Eugene asked.

"What exactly had happened to the boy who died 2 weeks ago?" I asked.

"Eiru how do you know that?" Zion asked.

"2 girls were talking about it in restroom so I came to hear that" I replied.

"No one exactly know what happened as some says he died due to some chemicals while a boy says he was been eaten by-"

"Don't talk nonsense Zion, that boy was found dead in chemistry lab" Ethan cuts him.

"Then why do they says something had eaten him?" I asked.

"Maybe because he was found dead by...um....less skin on him" Alex replied.

"Huh? I didn't get it" I said.

"Eiru, some kind of acid must have fell on him which burns him or something like that due to which he was left with some skin only" Harry replied.

"Seriously? Acid can do like that? If acid fell on some it may burn the skin but can't absorb the skin!" I said.

"We also don't know Eiru, as the medical report says he have some acidic content in his leftover skins" Eugene replied.

"One more thing guys!" I said.

"Ya?" They replied.

"What was Lawrence doing in chemistry lab?" I asked.

"Oh, he was given a task to find the chemical compound which was on dead body" Ethan replied.

"Huh? how can they give such duty to a student?" I asked.

"Because his father as a scientist and now he can't do anything some accidents had happen to him" Alex replied.

"Huh? how?" I asked.

"Don't know exactly but ya something happened when he was in the chemistry laboratory of Alesca Medical College" Zion replied.

"Alesca Medical College? The college behind our school?" I asked.

"Yeah" Zion replied.

"Isn't that College famous for having haunted Mortuary?" I asked

"Yes, but I think it's all a rumor. Lots of stuffs like hallucinating someone happens at night especially when you are alone in a room or even in a mortuary" Ethan replied.

"But what if that mortuary really have something?" I said.

"Maybe, should we get paranormal experts for this?" Alex said.

"Ah, the MD of that college won't allow tho" Harry replied.

Meuzene and Magene looked at us and looked at them then Magene came towards us and handed me a slip. It reads "We would definitely like to be your friends. But don't get too close with us, your life won't give you other chance to live".

What does that means? why did they handed me that slip? What do they mean by writing those words? are they warning me?

Lots of questions started to appear in my mind. I really can't understand/ get any of the answers. Are my friends hiding something from me? Or does some kind of paranormal activities happened in school?

Who exactly are those twins? Lots and lots of questions. But no answers.

Bell rings. It was lunch. Within a minute lots of people gathered at ground with lunch. And again the rumor started "GRIM BROTHERS" "GRIM BROTHERS" "GRIM BROTHERS".

"GRIM BROTHERS ?! Guys what are they talking about? who are those brothers?" I asked.

Suddenly someone from back says with deep voice, "Mr Ethan Jones!".

I looked back to see who was it? And I saw Mr Sanjaya the chief constable of out city. He took Ethan inside to a vacant room for some kind of questioning.

"E-t-h-a-n?" I said by following them.

Mr Sanjaya took him to a room near biology laboratory. I was standing outside for them to came out. By the time Lawrence came there, somehow he get to know the things. He looked at me as he is saying "what are u doing here?".

"Mr Sanjaya took Ethan to the room. I don't know what happened, I just followed them to here" I said. Lawrence looked at the locked door. After few minutes the door opened and Mr Sanjaya came out. I rushed inside to meet Ethan.

"Ethan??" I said. I noticed his hands to be locked in handcuff. "What happened??".

"It's nothing Eiru, I'm used to it" He replied "I'll tell you later".

"It will depend upon the answers you say" Mr Sanjaya said. 3 police man grabbed him to police van.

"Ethan?" I said with teary eyes. Harry and Eugene hold me from following him.

"What's happening here?" I asked to them. They looked down with a gloomy eyes Meuzene and Magene looked at me with pity eyes.

"GUYS I'M ASKING YOU!! WHY ARE U SILENT LIKE WALLS?" I yelled at them. They didn't replied.

Meanwhile, Lawrence called someone and grabbed me towards his car. He looked at me as he was saying to "get in". Without thinking anything I got in. I looked back at my friends, they were standing emotionless. I saw Mr. Ghosty rushed out towards us.

"Did they again took him?" He asked us.

"Yes, they did" Alex replied.

"Lawrence where are you taking her to?" Mr. Ghosty asked.

He didn't replied and doves away. We were on the way to police station.

"Are you gonna help me in his bail?" I asked.

He nodded. It's strange, why don't he talk to anyone? Anyway it's great that he is helping me.

After some minutes we were joined by a lawyer. As he got in, he looked at me and looked at Lawrence. This continues for a minute. Then he said "Don't worry, we will free your friend".

"Thank you." I replied.

"BTW I'm Lawrence's lawyer. My name is James" he said. "I didn't know that master have friend, that too a girl."

"Why? don't he have any friends?" I asked.

"No he don't, Cuz-"

Lawrence throw a pen towards him as he want him to be quiet.

"OK ok I'll not say anything" signed James.

After an hour we reached Police Station. I ran towards the cell where Ethan was.

"Ethan? are you okay?" I asked.

"Eiru! what's you doing here? How did you get here? Ethan asked.

"I'm here to take you back, and Lawrence helped me." I replied.

"Lawrence? he never helped anyone." He said.

"Ethan! I don't understand anything. What happened?" I asked.

"I'll tell you as I get out of cell" he replied.

"Mr Ethan, I sorry to creat you inconvenience".

I looked back. It was Mr Vijaya,the high ranked police officer.

"It's alright sir, you know I'm used to it" Ethan replied and went towards James. "Thank you sir".

"It's nothing young master. I'm just following my master's order." James replied.

Ethan went to Lawrence by grabbing my hands and said "Thanks.... for helping me and bringing my princess here safely. And sorry for the inconvenience I created."

Lawrence smiled and went out towards his car. By the time I hugged him.

"Thank God, you are safe" I said.

"Ya, after all I'm your oldest knight, princess" Ethan replied.

"Yeah my oldy Knight" I laughed.

Lawrence made the horn as he is saying to get in. Ethan and I settled in. Lawrence was about to drove when James said "Master are you throwing me out like a plastic after one use?".

Lawrence looked at him with a cold eyes.

"Okay, I go by myself" James signed.

"Lawrence! he helped us na...so...I guess we should let him get in with us...." I said.

Lawrence looked at me with rear mirror and smiled. He opened the car door so that James can get in.

"Thank you miss-?" James asked.

"Eireni" Ethan replied.

"It's us who must thank you" I said

James smiled and sit quietly. Around one and a half hour we reached school. I was my friend waiting for me.

"Great you are back" Eugene said and hugged him.

"Yeah, thanks to Eiru, Lawrence and his lawyer" Ethan replied and turned back.

Lawrence and his lawyer droves away. I was standing still. They came towards me and hugged me.

"Sorry Eiru, we can't tell you anything in school it's our order" Zion said.

"Huh? okay...?and I'm sorry too....I mustn't have yelled at you all" I replied.

"It's alright, after all you are our princess and we are your knights...you can yell at us whenever you want" they replied with a smile.

"Guys let's go to my house. School has ended now" Harry said.

That time Alex told me that Harry and Eugene are brother. Even though they are half brother they loved each other soo much as they are real brothers. I miss my half brother too.

Ethan called my parents and told them that he will drop me home by 5:30 pm.

I don't wanna go home. I always feel safe when Ethan is around me. Maybe because he is actually a knight for me.
