“How disastrous”

Lyra thought looking at the enormous pile of clothes on the bedroom floor. “Well, this is going to be a pain putting all these clothes ln the luggage..” Lyra sighed In frustration

Lyra was planning on staying in her old hometown for a bit with her best friend Alora to hang out and chill out a bit

Busy In her thoughts she didn't realize that someone was standing at the front door of her room just staring at her.

Frightened she gasped in horror only to find out it was her best friend Alora.

“ How did you get inside you scared the living hell out of me,” Lyra said still in shock

“Well, the door of your apartment was halfway open? I even texted you that I was coming to help you pack up..”

Alora chuckled a little

“WELL, you should have knocked at least. Said Lyra in annoyance

“Whatever said Alora, so do you want my help or not? “

“Yes, I kind of do? Have you packed all your things already? “

“Yes, I have it only took a while.”

“Well damn your fast,” said Lyra surprised “you're usually pretty slow”

Annoyed Alora stayed silent and helped Lyra pack her things

After Lyra finished packing, Lyra started wondering since she's going back to her old hometown well she see her old friends from her childhood? Have they moved away as she did? and if they still are there have they changed? then out of nowhere she suddenly got a black flash of her younger self with a boy that looks around her age She didn’t really remember him at first. Until something in her head clicked

“Wait a minute…he is my childhood best friend now I remember him.. I wonder if he still lives there … probably not though .. it would be nice ….” Said Lyra out loud

“What in the world am I saying I think I’m actually going insane…”

“ uhm Lyra…??” Said Alora confused “Why are you Just blabbering random stuff out loud”

“Did I really just say that out loud”

“ yes you did indeed,” said Alora laughing ”anyways you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want you I mean I’m not pressuring you or anything”

“Yeah, your right but it's nothing important so I rather not say it,

“Oh alright, well I kind of have to leave right now it's getting pretty late and we are leaving tomorrow, right?

“You can stay here and sleepover if you want you could just tell your mom you're staying here ?”

“Righttt said Alora but I did not bring my luggage “

“OHHHHH…your right yeah kinda forgot about that.. Well sucks for you

“Yeah it does..., we’ll see you tomorrow “

As Alora left it didn’t even take a minute for Lyra to fall asleep she felt drained and tired because of all the packing

THE NEXT DAY-

Lyra wakes up due to the alarm clock going off. She gets out of bed to see what time it is. She realizes she woke up a little earlier so she starts to get things ready and calls Alora

“ALORAAAAA”

“What”..Flora said in a tired voice “why are you up we are not leaving until 3 hours”

“Well we need to prepare are things and like make sure we didn't forget anything... I mean we are staying there for like a month or two

“Yeah no, wake me up in an hour or so”

“Wait but- “

Alora hangs up

“This girl....”
