Prologue 

If only I was strong enough to protect them, if only the world wasn't invaded by zombie, this world wouldn't have turned out to be so....destroyed. But now that I'm still alive, that'll change. I Akari Konichi will change the world's destiny.                      Changing the World's Destiny.

  Chapter 1- Survivors and Goals

My first goal is to find more survivors that are willing to join me on stopping the apocalypse, together we will find survivors and form a huge base home where people will feel safe until I gather a fighting group and extinguish all zombies so that they won't infect anyone else....But sitting down in this run-down mansion, makes me wonder if I'm actually capable of accomplishing that goal."What am I saying" I say as I stand up "It doesn't matter if I can, or can't, I have to try". I started heading out with my gun, right now I have to find better weapons, I remember that the weapon's store was around the corner from my house, I know all martial arts, Karate,Taekwondo,Jujutsu,Judo,Ninjutsu,Tai-Chi,Kyudo, and I'm the best at Kendo.Kendo is one of traditional Japanese martial arts that fights with swords. Ok maybe not All the mar- cutting me off are loud raspy crunching noises, I quickly hid in an alley holding my gun tight, I quietly peek my head out to see what the noise was, crouching there was a zombie eating the flesh of a human.Getting my gun ready to fire off, when suddenly an arrow comes flying from the top of a three story apartment building and goes straight into the zombie's neck, killing it instantly. The figure on the top of the building slowly moves away from my sight. All I could see was the back of the person, dark green jacket,black pants, and a quiver, full of arrows on his back. Maybe he can be my first member of my troupe, he's very skilled at Kyūdō. Kyūdō is the Japanese martial art of archery, high level experts in Kyūdō, may be referred to as kyūdōka, and some practitioners may refer to themselves as yumihiki, so from the look of how straight and silent his arrow was, I'd consider him a kyūdōka."Maybe he'll join once he knows how strong I am" When I arrive at the weapon's store, I noticed some fresh foot prints, someone must have been here. All of the swords were all well-made, but two Excalibur swords in the back caught my eye.The Hilt of the sword was a beautiful shade of black, when I picked it up I could feel the light weight, but at the same time, the blade was sharp enough to cut through, bricks, stones....metal even. As I was about to swing the swords, I hear a deep but gentle voice coming from behind me, " What are you doing here?" The gentle voice asks, when I turn to the person, I'm shocked to see the same boy who was skilled at kyudo, today must be my lucky day, " Am I not supposed to be here" I say as I slide the two swords into my scabbard, and walks to the boy, getting a closer look at him, he looks about my age, 14 maybe?, but different, he has two piercing's, one above, and one below his eyebrow. " Those swords are Excalibur, they can cut through anything, one wrong move and it could slice your head open" Confused, I look at the two swords, then back at him "I know that, but I'm skilled in most martial arts, including Kendo, so you shouldn't be worried about me" How considerate of him, despite his looks, he seems like a nice guy.He looks at my swords then back at me. "I'm not worried about YOU, I'm worried about it getting into the wrong hands, those swords are capable of hur-" I take back what I said about him, he's a total douche-bag "What are you, It's guardian? I'm not like that at all, you can't just go around judging people when you on't even know them yet, t-that's just, not rig-" Interrupting me, he says "I get it, sorry bout that, I'm Kiyoshi Akabane, 15 years old, you?" I guess he's not that bad "I'm Akari Konichi, age 14 years old, my mission is to gather a troupe and extinguish all zombies, will you be the first member of The Phantom Troupe" Thinking about what I just said, it sounded cringe, he knew that I just started this troupe and had no other members, and yet he just smiled and said " Sure, I'll join your troupe" That was easier then I thought, and so that's how The Phantom Troupe begun their journey to change the World's Destiny.

Our weapons and food are packed, we're ready to go find clues on how zombies were created.Looking at Kiyoshi walking ahead of me I think to myself "He's settled in nice".It's been only three days since he joined my Troupe, but he fits in, considering how strong he is.Up ahead is The Tech IQ, a huge laboratory, zombies were surrounding the gates trying to get inside, too many to count.While hiding, I notice Kiyoshi staring inside the window of the laboratory " We need to find a way to get inside that building" he whispered to me.Why would he say that,the door is blocked, so how could we get inside"That's a suicide mission, there's too many zombie's surrounding it-" before I could finish ,he said "Just follow me"I followed him around to the back of the laboratory, the gate is surrounding it fully.When we get to the back, we could see a hole in the gate, one big enough to fit a human.Inside were dead bodies and blood everywhere, the dead bodies were wearing lab coats, they were scientists, as we went further inside we saw many other dead scientists, the trail of blood lead us to a room with the number "9121148" on the door. Inside were shelves fulled with different colors of liquid, with different words and numbers written on the bottle they were in,Desks fulled with computers,some drawers were opened fulled with files, papers covered the floor with blood stains. Kiyoshi was looking at all the liquids on the shelves, but I was looking through the drawers, until I noticed a liquid that was on the floor,When I picked it up, it read " Coupe Poudre from room 1512666 ". I seen that room across from this hall, that door number had the same number written on it,I look over to Kiyoshi,"Kiyoshi, look"I held up the Coupe Poudre to him, "This number written on it,I seen the room, and it had the same exact number on it ,the other bottle of liquids didn't have a room number written on it , so they wouldn't just have make a room just for this liquid for no reason, I think it's a clue"He holds the Coupe Poudre and reads the writing that was on it, "We could give it a try,I'll hold onto this for a while just in case, lets go"We start heading to the room, the door to the room was open, and inside the room were liquid tubes with the same kind of liquid we have, the Coupe Poudre, and in the back was a plastic see-through jail with a door that was open, inside the plastic jail was a scientist dead, the things we noticed about all the dead scientists were that they were all were bitten,but didn't turn into a zombie,including those details, this dead scientist was holding a knife. A book was lying on the floor, the cover of the book read " Test Subjects ".Maybe we could find the ingredients used in the Coupe Poudre and reverse it to make a cure, or maybe they've already made one and we just have to find what they wrote it in, but It won't be easy.I look over to Kiyoshi who is investigating the Coupe Poudre in the tubes, when I walk over to him, he says, " I can't tell if this Coupe Poudre is the cure that could save us, or if it's the disease that turns people into zombies....but it must be the disease-" He continues to talk, but because of my thoughts racing through my head  it's blocking out the sound.But I agree with him, it must be the disease because...because...I don't know.If I could just test it out on someone.A hand on my shoulder distracts my thinking, I look up to see Kiyoshi, " You ok, you didn't answer my question,we should head back to your place, you should rest, we can finish this tomorrow "I nod, still distracted with my thoughts.On the way back to my house we killed lots of zombies that blocked the path that we usually went through that had less zombies.When we finally arrive at home,I slept, while Kiyoshi went out to practice his good bow and arrow aims with some zombies.My house is really hard to break through that's why zombies can't get in, plus the steel and bricks that surround my house, it's not getting broke in by zombies.My window is made of thick glass and the walls of steel.Steel is the strongest construction material available, it's so much stronger than wood that the two cannot be fairly compared.As a kid I studied so hard, because my parents wanted me to be the smartest person alive, as unbelievable as it sounds, I studied on every single subject, School stuff, languages, instruments,art skills, martial arts,etc.Science was the only thing I was a little bad in, my parents were also well knowned in foreign countries, cities, and states,but they didn't know the martials arts fighting skills like I did, so when they went to the store without me, I couldn't save them, and because I was asleep and the thick walls I didn't know they had already left, I didn't know that would would be the last time I seen them.Soon, I drift off to sleep.In the morning I started to study the kinds of zombies that can easily trick us by how they look or communicate, the most dangerous zombies out there are called The Infected, these zombies look like us humans and can also talk, but are good in tricks, they'll become someone friends or ally, but once the human lowers their guard, it'll eat them.As I continue to study I see something run fast pass my window soon after that I could hear two footsteps running through the hallways, it can't be Kiyoshi, so who is it?

The two footsteps are getting closer to my room.While hiding in the closet, I notice a small blue crystal on the floor, trying not to make any noise, I slowly reach down to get it, to put it in my pocket.That's weird, I've never seen this crystal before.As it continues to be hard to breath, I think to myself.Why am I hiding from them, zombies wouldn't know how to open a door, and their probably not even that bad, plus it is getting hard to breath in here.As I finally make my decision I take a step out of my closet, and goes in the hallway where I see a girl at the end of this hallway talking to someone infront of her, all I can see is the back of her, I can't see the person she's talking to.The girl has long straight black hair and from a glimpse of her eye I can see that it's black, she's hispanic but is speaking Japanese.I come a little closer, just enough to hear what their saying and to see the person she's talking to, he's also hispanic, they both have weapons on them, the girl has kunai knives and the boy has a two guns.As I listen to their conversation, the girl turns around getting ready to go, until she sees me, "You, who are you, you're not infected are you, tell me what are you doing here"As I'm about to step closer, the boy points his guns at me, "Don't move, answer her questions" staying still, I think I should answer, I can't die yet, "No, I'm not infected,and I'm Akari Konichi, and I live here" I hope they'll tell me why they're in my home, the girl steps closer, "You're THE Akari Konichi, your father's name is Myouji Konichi,right, he's traveled all over the world and done lots of research, my parents know him really good, and I'm also a huge fan of his, I know this is a weird thing to ask right now, but do you think I could get his autograph-" She sure does talk a lot, I don't really have to answer that though, but if I don't."Sorry, but, my parents aren't here anymore" When I said that I noticed that the boy had lowered his guard,I could easily get away, but what's the point of running when I could just talk it out.They boy lowered his guns and says, "Oh, sorry about that, anyways, I'm Yuto Aimi, and this is my sister, Hinami Aimi, we were only looking for some things we could gather, and a blue crystal, so if you've seen it please give it to us, it's the crystal your father had told us about,it's very important" That blue crystal I put in my pocket getting ready to get it, we heard the front door unlocked, it's Kiyoshi, Hinami looks over to Kiyoshi, "And who are you" dusting off his shirt, he says, "Shouldn't I be the one asking you that-" I should tell him to just listen to them, "Kiyoshi, don't worry, just answer them"Atleast they forgot about the blue crystal, I don't trust them right now,"Fine, I'm Kiyoshi Akabane, a member of her Troupe" Yuto finally takes his guard off me and turns to Kiyoshi, "A Troupe?You're in a troupe, what kind of troupe?" Answering him I say, "It's called The Phantom Troupe, I'm gathering members so that we can find a cure to the infected,and kill all the zombies, so far, I only have 1 member, but we're both good at martial arts, he does kyudo and I do most of the martial arts, but you both can join if you want" That was really hard to say, why would I ask that, They don't even know me, so why would they join my troupe, the girl and boy turns their attention back to me the girl says nothing, but the boy says, "that's a lot of work to be doing, but It's not like we have anything better to do, so sure, we'll join, I'm a pro with guns, and Hinami good Kunai Knives" the girl, I mean Hinami looks really bored, " Yeh, so back to the blue crystal, that blue crystal can help make the cure, so do you have it, or not, we were told it was hidden somewhere in your room, where is it" Ok, I guess I can trust them a little now, I reach into my pockets- "Yeh, I have it right her- It's GONE, I'm sure that I put it in my pocket-" the girl sighs, "The legend of the Blue Crystal is known for its sudden disapperance's, the story behind it is that it was found in and old temple cave in Egypt, it's said that it can cure any disease, all you need is to mix it in some Coupe Poudre, so if your certain about finding a cure, we'll need to find that blue crystal first, It's our only option" How is something like that even possible, a disappearing crystal, how far can it teleport.But it is better then nothing, "Ok, we're sure. We already have the Coupe Poudre, so all we need to do is find it, after I get the rest of my troupe members, because we don't know how far this blue crystal can even travel-" interrupting me, Yuto says, " It's likely to be in the nearest cave in this country Japan-" Interrupting him back, I say, "but that too many caves then, there's the Blue Cave, Akiyoshido,Nippara Limestone Caves,.Ryugashido Cavern,Otaki Limestone Cave,Abukumado Limestone Cave,Ryusendo Limestone Cave,Fujido Cave. Caverns & Caves, and even more of them out there, I studied all of them and they're all the closest ones near Japan." Kiyoshi looks at the time, "I guess we'll just have to figure that out another time, for now we'll just have to find new members" After that, our new members settled in my home, and we talked more about how to find new members.I've always thought that we wouldn't have to rush to find new members, that they'll just come to us, but it seems that right now, we'll be finding them.
