Rachel let out a deep breath with his chin held high. He gripped onto his backpack straps tightly and made his first step into the hallways of # Highschool. The voices of people chattering and boys being boys, making a ruckus, he could hear it all which made him swallow. With a quick change of mind, he had a presentiment that, by having his head held low would have been better.
Looking at the dully lurid flooring, he tried his best to stay low and find his locker. Abruptly, a gash of wind blew towards Rachel-- "ouch!" he whined, laying on the floor on his bum and his hands infront of him for support.
How unlucky, Rachel slowly looked up to see the person who had bumped him, from his grimey shoes to his disheveled black colored hairdo and sloppy posture, he could tell the guy was not the most charming. However, the colour of his strawberry-pink eyes, broad shoulders, sharp jawline and it seemed as though he was a shinning diamond.
"Hey, I have not seen you here before.." The guy said in a deep hoarse voice as he reached his hand out, helping Rachel up.
Definitely not what Rachel expected his voice to sound like and him helping Rachel, maybe this guy was not all that bad.
I grabbed his hand, and pulled myself up.
"Uh, I'm actually new here.." I stumbled my words.
"Your name?" he asked.
"Rachel Prince." I hesitated for a while before quietly speaking back.
"Pft- What a cute name! I really like it!" He looked at the verge of laughing his head off. I did not judge him, my name was always made fun off but for some reason today just was not my day. I gave a death-like glare, gritted my teeth and gave an exasperated expression on my face. I bursted out everything I thought about him. Does he think, I am a new kid that I can't stand up for myself?!
"So? I personally think it's a great name! Ugh, I thought you may be a decent guy but I guess your personality is just like your appearance! I bet your a punk too!"
I felt like a ferocious lion grumbling towards a snobby, rude, insensitive, dog! My heart was racing, I froze in fear, thinking what had I just done. My feet turned cold, I don't remember what happened next but I remember uttering a short "sorry" before dashing away.. I could not manage to find my locker because of that neither way, it was better then getting beat up from that, I presumed he's punk.
Sliding the classroom door open, hoping to see the room empty so he could pick the window seat aka the best sit. To his recovery, he clenched his fist and swinging it downwards as his little victory move.
He gleefully walked towards his seat and sat down. He sighed, just thinking about everything that had just happened. He plated his head on the table before slowly shutting his eyes..
The sounds of bells ringing in his ears woke him up, the classroom was filled with students seated. As he fiddled with his pencil, he glanced out the window. What worst could happen? The pen slipped through my his fingers, the sound of it crashing onto the phone made him jump. Just as he reached for it. A familiar hand took the pencil passing it to him, Rachel smiled. He took his pencil from the face and made his chance to see the the person who had helped him. His eyes widened, biting his lower lip. It was that guy from earlier!
Not long after realising, a teacher entered the class, "Good morning students, hope you all have picked good sits because this will be your permanent arrangement for the rest of the semester till further notice."
Just as Rachel's day could not get worst! He rolled his eyes in irritation. He simply wanted to live life peacefully without the disturbance of that guy.
"Hey my sweetheart, Rachel~ I guess we will be sitting buddies, huh." He teased.
Ugh. This can't be happening...

I have never thought that sound of the bell ringing could feel like heaven. I stood up from my sit, snarled at the dog. I darted towards the exit of the class. I felt a grip on my wrist, turning back, I saw the dog.
"Hey hey, don't be in such a rush. The name is Jasper Clark, not dog. I heard you muttering that nickname during class. Not the most pleasant thing to hear, how about pup or puppy? I'll call you my prince." He flirtatious smirk with his sly mouth. I wanted to punch him and swipe that smile. l clenched my jaw, pursed my lips. Turned around, and speed walked away. I did not know where I wanted to go, as long as I was away from that dog!
I found a nice place at the back of the school. A secret hide out? The flowers, the greenery, the grass, the whole scenery made me at peace. I dropped my backpack under an oak tree. I lay flat on the warm glass and my heavy eyelids, closed shut...
"Prince? Prince~ Why are you sleeping here? My prince~ Classes have ended ya know? You look so cute! I just want to squish your cheeks!" I gently opened my eyes, and pushed his face away with the palm of my hand.
"Ugh, go away, dog!" I scowled and crossed my arms. I caught a glimpse of the clock on the walls in the hallways, "5p.m.?! Classes ended an hour ago!" I got up from the glass, took my bag and hurried along.
"Hey, you alright?" his voice this time was sincere. Cold sweat fell from my forehead, he's going to be mad again, I thought to myself. My hand began shaking, my thoughts just overwhelmed me. What am I going to do? The dog, reached for my hand and held it tight. I did not push him away or anything, just glad.
"Do you have those type of strict parents? Ahaha, I'll bring you home, my prince." His grin was glowing like the stars, so beautiful. The dog followed me, that concerned look on his face.. Why..? It's not as if we're friends. I avoided his stares. I felt something tingle in my heart. He cared. Something about him, made me slightly calm. All the way, as I walked back to my house, he just followed me without a word. I am glad he did.
Looking up at my house made me shiver. I glanced back at the dog. He smiled. It annoyed me how precious his smile was. I nodded back to him as a thanks. He looked back towards me a few times, then slowly walked away. I could hear his steps and the softer his steps were, my heart raced faster. I grabbed the doorknob and twisted it, ready for anything..
...---...
Ah, it hurts..
I went to school today with bruises on my knees and a wound to my mouth, my hands were bloody too. I wore a black oversized hoodie, the only hoodie I had, thankfully. I looked around. Hm, the dog wasn't there. I sighed in relieve, but my heart did not seem that way. I missed him. I was planning on thanking him but nevermind..
During class, I caught his stares once in a while. Seems as though he was still concerned for me.
After class, he came up to me..
"Hey, what happened yesterday? did your parents get too mad?" He asked.
I tried grinning for the first time, "It's fine, I'm good." I guess he did not brought it. His eyes widened when he realised the wounds on my hands. I should have covered it better, dang it. He grabbed my hands. "Ouch!" I whimpered. He pulled me aside to the nurses room. He said nothing and just treated my wounds.
Finally, the suffocating came to an end, "Who did this?" He demanded.
I laughed it off, thinking I could change the topic but instead he stared right through me.
"I fell.." What a lame excuse. I could veins popping up on his forehead. He asked me once more, "Who did this? I'm serious."
"It's.."
