Hiding The Ethereal Heir
Chapter 01 - glyph
Being the supreme student council's president was never facile to deal with.
Neither do I have it easy being the top-notch, dean's lister and high-achiever with no failing marks nor threat on the education system.
Loads of student related achievements.
What is my role in the whole university again?
Of course, the one who can't have a boyfriend but shares wild nights with guys. The sexually expressive woman that can offer both beauty and brains.
And that type of demeanor?
That is my role inside the prestigious university I was enrolled in, in order for me to have a thrilling life.
Those are the only things circulating my character so maybe I had gone deaf upon my professor's speech.
That I had received a project of being an exchange student and be a representative of our school to the second most prestigious;
La Salle University, which is only a school for boys.
None other than the nest of boys such as playboys and deliquents.
Amethyst Davis
Can you repeat that again, Ma'am?
I distinctively asked, hands below the table to fidget the algid bare of my skin as I hoped to unknown entities that my ear must have heard it wrong.
Professor
Due to the lack of facilities and faculty advisers in both here and La Salle, our school which is a branch of that respective university,
Professor
Agreed to merge the whole community of students bit by bit until we achieve the labeled goal.
Professor
We'll have you in the first group as a practice, if it turns out successful then merge it is.
She paused, looked at me to opt for a reacting and went back to sorting out papers.
Professor
You, being the top one of this all-girls university, were chosen to participate together with another three women to go to La Salle and–
Amethyst Davis
Do my utmost best to engrave what education really means?
The lady before me smiled, diverse from my lips who irked at the thought.
As my line of patience thins every minute, I can't help but silently scorn.
Professor
Exactly, Miss Davis.
Professor
You will be accepted to be a temporary tutor in order to fulfill that role.
Professor
Thus, you have one primary targeted student to change there in the span of your career.
This is getting more and more boring.
Can't they just send some professional tutors instead of students like myself?
Professor
All of you have your own student to teach anyways, and yours goes by the name–
Professor
Ciandrei Madden, this student is the same as you but the major problem is him, setting off fights whenever he is pissed.
Skimming through a pages of borders, she then showed me a legalized document of my transfer with my parent's signature.
Amethyst Davis
Is this project beneficial for the student itself?
Professor
This is beneficial not only for the student itself but for the university.
Professor
Do your utmost best and surpass your limits, Miss Davis.
Professor
No more further explaining, you may excuse yourself.
With a hazy and eyes on daze, my brain seemed to malfunction as I got up to leave the professor's premises.
The only thing that occupied my mind was the name remarked a moment ago.
He sounded like a typhoon coming to destroy my mind, an abhorrent one.
Therefore, I only had one thing to say for myself.
Chapter 02 - Nirvana
Amethyst Davis
Bliss, happiness, the feeling of nirvana.
I whispered, following it with a scoff when I tried to pull out the emotion inside me yet nothing but voidness was sensed.
Amethyst Davis
The female lead should've just left the child–
I stopped reading, roamed my eyes and finally ascertained one thing.
There is no way in Earth that the lavish deck of the private plane transportation me and my peers are boarding is what I'm seeing right now, away from the far front to the rear.
Amethyst Davis
Just how huge is the budget of our school that they are able to lend this kind of plane?
Leonia Blake
The school is not to take credits, this plane is owned by La Salle.
Even if how many rapid blinks I did while sitting there – the scenery, phantasm or dream was never a product of imagination.
Distinct charcoal hues filled the whole bivouac and seats, air swooned like frigid tile.
It didn't took me a second to ascertain that my purpose was to teach some bone-chilling students or deliquents specifically.
I actually thought that there is no need for a grand entrance like this!
And yet, the latest principal of the univeristy didn't allow such a welcome without warmth.
So therefore, he declared that all the exchange students should arrive in a huge private airplane inside the school's premises.
Thus, to also show us that we are welcome in their area with such wide-arms and cheer, but I doubt that.
Considering that their univeristy has a bad reputation.
Estella Winters
Ironic, isn't it?
Amethyst Davis
What do you mean by that?
Elyse Pearce
They put a lot of effort for the exchange students when they can't even put the forming deliquency inside the school–
Amethyst Davis
Into a permanent cease?
The girl who spoke earlier was known for having good conducts as well as being knowledgeable when it comes to economics.
I don't even know their names!
Leonia Blake
The principal must be fed up with hearing complaints and riotous of those gangster wannabe.
Leonia Blake
That they went as far as petition to borrow the most outstanding students from their twin university.
A shy and low pitch sufficed as if they're trying hard not to cause any perturbance.
Estella Winters
They didn't even gave us choices nor rejections, and now I have to teach this Leone Miles person some manners!
Estella Winters
How would I do that when I can't even improve mine?
Realizing that the girl who had orange hued locks was the one who always ranked third.
She didn't care whatever rank she got – like she never cared about her marks.
Elyse Pearce
Mine's Theodore Lavin, he has a unique name!
Leonia Blake
Saide Frederick, sounds just like a deliquent.
Leonia Blake
How about you, Amethyst?
She bit her lower lip, glancing at my stoic expression.
Leonia Blake
I am allowed to call you that, r-right?
Amethyst Davis
No worries, I was just shocked for a moment!
Amethyst Davis
His name is Madden–
Shifting my gaze at them, I ran my finger through the papers.
Amethyst Davis
How do I pronounce this?
Amethyst Davis
Uh, Ciandrei Madden?
Hearing my response made them all gape, jaw dropped while sharing glances.
Now that's just one hell of a reaction coming from them who looked nonchalant about the name I gushed out.
Leonia Blake
I hope you feel fine when the session ends.
This guy might be a nightmare!

Chapter 03 - Arrival
Based on their reaction and ganders, I might be stuck in such a predicament.
If I were to ask a fortune-teller about my future, their crystal balls would surely break from determining.
Misfortune just sticks to me like a slug, every damn single day– take today as an example.
Elyse Pearce
Guess we're boarding off.
Estella Winters
Wow! This university is certainly huge!
Top three said, gazing at the windows as the plane halted off the forest's green grasses.
Outside the plane lies the tallest and huge building I've ever seen.
All painted in abstract blue and white colors which symbolizes; eternity and peace.
Leonia Blake
Blue and white?
Leonia Blake
Really? The students says it the other way around!
Speaking of the students, some of them were actually watching how the plane landed.
I even felt how my face dripped off from its color upon seeing how tall the students were from the tinted windows.
Some aren't even wearing their uniform, just dressed in pants, tank tops or shirts.
Tattoos glowing on their neck, arms and hands.
If I was given the chance to rate how scary they are, I will dash away without further queries.
Elyse Pearce
No one looks kind here! I want to go home!
Leonia Blake
Elyse, stop it. Remember our purpose here.
What Elyse reputed resulted into a nod from me and Estella.
I took a peek at their school ID because I thought asking them would turn out awkward!
None of them seemed to look generous except for the man who had brownish hair amidst the crowds.
He looks rather neat in his uniform, white polo's and blue tie in a good place.
Pilot
You can board off now, ladies.
Pilot
All of you must be respected and not to be touched, prior to the principal's commands.
The pilot interrupted, opening the plane's door– pertubing the placidity of the ladies' minds as the cool waft and radiant sunlight greeted us.
The top two, Leonia with Saide as her student clicked her tongue in dismay.
Grabbing her bags before gripping the gallantry to get out of the deck first and meet keen gazes with the students outside.
Whilst the three other including me swallowed the anxious feeling inside our veins.
My grip on the bag tightened as I diverted my attention around the area if there were any teacher who can guide us to the said dormitories.
But none, none of them offered a hand.
Amethyst Davis
Is the principal really not here? Nor teachers?
Leonia Blake
They are dead.
I blinked, obviously stunned upon Leonia's remark.
Leonia Blake
Just kidding. It's about lunch time so we can't do anything but ask.
The second ranker said again, sighing harshly to puff out the pang of vexation she's feeling.
Amethyst Davis
There's no way I'll do it.
Estella Winters
There's no way I'll do it–
Elyse Pearce
There's no way I'll do it!
The three of us said in unison, sharing the same thoughts again.
Nobody in our group seemed brave enough to face thugs.
Amethyst Davis
Fine, I'll do it.
I exhaled deeply before walking to the side of the oval to ask.
With all honesty, every step I took wouldn't even equal to how brisk my heartbeat was for the impulsive courage.
Student A
Look, the hot girl is approaching us!
Student B
I told you they're interested in us!
How unfortunate of me to bump into scums.
