Loud laughs and different voices could be heard from where I was. Me being too excited to know who they are. I went to the big living room. First thing I saw was my parents talking with an lovely elderly couple. And a guy my age with his back facing me. His style of clothes seemed way too familiar. I went to my parents and gave them a big hug like everyday.

" Mom , dad . " I squealed all happy not even bothered acting like this in front of strangers.

" Oh, it looks like my baby girl is home. Have you eaten..? " Asked my dad knowing the answer.

I let out small nervous laugh and said " No..? " more like a question.

He sighed and gave me a soft hit in the head with his knuckles not hurting me. " Little girl, when are you going to stop worrying me , huh..? "

" I know , i know daddy. But the school's canteen food taste horrible. Mom's wonton dumpling soup tastes better. " I whined out . He just chucked and my mom gave me a look of pure adoration.

" Oh my. Look at this young girl. Dear I wish I could also have a daughter. " A soft woman's voice was heard. I turn my head towards her direction and saw her complaining to her husband whom just stood and asking her in the ears " How about we just announce her as our daughter in law..? " He joked playfully to his wife and she agreed.

I widened my eyes. Tell me they are kidding.

" Hahahahaha.. " She let out a soft laugh and came forward to me giving me a hug and asking me if I was Linlin and I said yes.

" Such a cute girl . " She cooed at me.

" Oh I forgot. Here is my son. He is handsome as his father I'm pretty sure you are gonna like him." She said while calling for his son who was looking at his phone.

The person in front of me was not someone I expected him to be here. I had a shocked face. When he looked up at me his face was priceless the same as mine. He was Xiao Chen.

" Omg , why are you here..? " We screamed together at the same time and I pointed my index fingers at him. Oh no it seems like I forgot my manners.

" Oh ..so you guys know each other..? " Asked our parents all them having a mischievous face. Weird . We nodded our heads and they seemed content about something. What was wrong with them..?

" Well you guys should get along since we are going to spend a year with each other living in the same roof. " Said my mom.

I don't know but maybe that's a good chance for me to make him fall in love with me. I know, there are more beautiful girls outside there but giving a try won't hurt at all.

Dinner was ready and went to eat. The atmosphere between Xiao Chen and me was awkward.

Anyway since that day things were really different. We first started as enemies but deep down I had a crush on him but of course I won't tell him that. Then we became friends as days went by. A year passed and he moved back to his villa but that doesn't means we were strangers at school. Instead we would always do things together along with my friends Li Na , Shenyu , Hongmei , Bina and his friends Feng Lu , Rong Nan , Pei Shi and Zhang Lei.

We became popular. The top center of the school . We were inseparable.

One year later, when I was at the age of 18. Xiao Chen and I started dating. We were so lovely and cute together. Our friends would always tease us. But anyway we gave everyone at school dog food, PDA.

We also went to the same college along with our friends. When we were dating we would just kiss or hug. Nothing more than that. I was not ready. Every date we had it was so romantic. He always did his best and I was very proud of him.

After two years of dating we decided to tell our parents. They were happy for us and congratulated us. And made some jokes like " When am I going to be a grandma or grandpa ..? "  At that time I was drinking water so I choke up on the water. My cheeks were flushed red. Xiao Chen was patting my back with that smirk on his lips. My parents and his parents were laughing at my reaction. Oh lord I was totally embarrassing myself.

Half a month later. Xiao Chen and I with our friends traveled to London, Paris , Greece and Italy. Everything was so beautiful. Each culture was unique. We also went to some beach and time when I put a bikini, Xiao Chen got pissed because guys were staring at me. Well rather than at me it was my body.

My body was not the the top #1 best beautiful body but still I had my curves in the right places. And I was neither fat nor skinny so it was perfect. And especially it showed my white skin gleaming under the sun.

From that day whenever we would go to a beach he won't allow me to dress a bikini. I was not frustrated instead I was amused at him.

Things got better. He proposed to me in our last week in Greece. I was happy. We were happy. When we came back from our trip as fast as we could we started preparing for the wedding. I know it was way too fast but I loved him and wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. I imagined having four children with him. And staying at his side till we were old till our last breath. Wonderful.

These two months we spend it working on wedding preparations. One day my father called me to his study room. He told me that he was old already and that I was old enough to manage his company and I didn't complain at all. I started preparing myself to be the president of Qi company group since I was in college so things weren't hard. I also had a hard-working assistant called Vivian with me .Xiao Chen would sometimes come to the company visiting me and making sure I wasn't sick. Things were perfect.

The day of my wedding came. The morning was bright than ever. But my heart was heavy , like if something bad would happen. I keep telling that to my mom was always reassuring me that everything will be fine. We decided the wedding place to be in an hotel near the ocean. The venue was right beside the beautiful blue crystalized ocean. The venue decorated with deep red roses, pink and white balloons. Today was my day and I couldn't express how happy I was. People were already in the venue. Our family were seated together. The females of honor were with the bride in which they were my friends. The male of honors were with the groom in which they were also our male friends since school.

The time came were the groom was waiting for her bride in the altar. The bride slowly walked out with her father with her arms interlocked together with his.

When I saw the man in the altar, my soon to be husband, the love of my life, I couldn't stop but letting out some tears fall from my eyes with a big smile in my face. He was so handsome.

Now we were in front of him. My father let go of my arms and went back to where my mother was seated after telling him few words that I wasn't allowed to heard.

Xiao Chen took my hands in his warm ones. The officiant started with his speech with " Good evening, to family , friends and others. It is a pleasure for us and this lovely soon to be wife and husband for you to come and witnessing their love." and then he continued with " Today is such a lovely day. The day in which our bride Qi Linlin and our groom Xiao Chen decided to marry each other. How about we heard the vows of our groom and then the bride..?" Everyone clapped their hands.

Xiao Chan started saying " Linlin , the first time I saw you, no other girl was the same as you nor as beautiful as you so that's why I would I always tease you. We've been together for so long. I can't imagine living my life without you or it will break my heart. I want to have my offspring with you. I want to be the father of our child. I want to be the one whom you depend on for your rest of your life. I love you so much." His speech left me sobbing a bit. But his tone of voice was slightly weird and his eyes , they held the emotion of bored. Was it my imagination ....? Maybe.

" Xiao Chen, to tell the truth I had a crush on you since the first time I met you but was too shy to confess it to you. Whenever you talked to me I would always like if I didn't care but I was totally nervous from the inside. God brought you to my life and things changed for the good. I want to live my life with you till our last breath. My love for you is real. Wherever you go my heart will go with you. I love you so much." I said with a big grin showing in my lips.

The officiant started with the vows he was supposed to say " Do you, Qi Linlin , take Xiao Chen, as your husband , to have and to hold from this day forward , for better , for worse , for richer , for poorer , in sickness and in health , to love and to cherish , till death do you apart ?"

" Yes , I do. " I gushed out wanting this wedding to be at it's final end. The guests laughed at my silliness. Xiao Chen stood there with a smirk plastered in his face all this while.

" Now.  Do you, Xiao Chen , take Qi Linlin, as your wife , to have and to hold from this day forward , for better , for worse , for richer , for poorer , in sickness and in health , to love and to cherish , till death do you apart ?"

Silence is all we've got. What was wrong with him..? Today he was acting strange. I lifted my hand and touch his. But he slapped them away. I was utterly taken aback by his sudden wild action. My hand sting a little. I looked at it and saw it was bruised red and some blood coming out.

I lifted my head and looked at him. " Xiao Chen. " I said softly but he just looked at me. This time his stare was cold. What was happening..? I wen to call him again but before I could the officiant cleared his throat and asked again. " Ahem... Do you take Qi Linlin as your wife..? "

He tore his eyes from me and looked at the officiant then at everyone here. Lastly his eyes came back to me. He smirked mockingly towards me and said in a loud clear and cold voice the words that broke my heart entirely " NO."

I , what ..?  " Xiao Chen you are kidding ...right..?" I asked him and continued saying without letting him reply. " Stop playing around. Ahahaha. " and let out soft forced laugh.

" No. My. Answer. Is. No. " He said this time louder and angry.

" Wh-ha-at ... wh-hy-y..? " I asked him bewildered. " Is something wrong..? "

He sighed and did something that made my world stop. He pulled out something from his pants pockets. It was a gun. What was he doing with a gun..? I was once puzzled , again. Then he pointed it to me. I widen my eys but then the look in his eyes and seeing the angle of the gun more clearly it was to someone behind me. I turn my head around and " BAM, BAM. " Two gunshots were heard and the people started screaming around and running towards the anywhere away from this place. But no matter I couldn't believe it. He shoot to someone important in my life. My father.

I cried out and went running towards him whom was on the floor and blood gushing out of his wound. My mom fainted beside him. " Dad ...hic ...no.. hic.. no.. stay.. st-tay .. wit-th .. m-me.. " I keep mumbling these words again and again. But then he touched my face with his hand and just like taht his eyes closed and his hand laid limped on his side. I sob harder.

I turn my head around facing the culprit of my dad's condition. " What is wrong with you.? Why did you shoot him..?" I yelled at him feeling angry.

"Baabeee.... so you haven't told her..? " A female voice sounded out loud. The female was beautiful; indeed. She may be a superstar. She approached us and kissed him.

I was puzzled. Why is she kissing him and what broke me more was that he kissed her back. Why is he doing this..?

" You.. how .. can ..you..? " I yelled at him. Tears poured down my face. I bet that my makeup was smeared.

" She will be my wife. I love her. You were just a plaything. " He said , his face showing displeasure.

" What ..? How can you.. how can you do that to me..? " I screamed at him feeling mad of being used.

" How can I not..? when you were just easy to play with.. but let me tell you it was fun." He said and laughed aloud with that woman on his arms.

I was dumbfounded. I asked the thing that only mattered to me " So .. you never loved .. me ..? All those sweets words were lies..? "

" Pffffttttttt.......come on......don't act stupid......love you..? Are you worth being loved..? " He asked and this left me breaking me harder. I was a plaything for him. He never loved me . All this was a lie .

Then I heard someone's footsteps nearing. I didn't bother lifting my head. I was tired, broken. Things are a mess. Things are getting worse.

" Miss, are you Qi Linlin..? " Someone asked from above me. I lifted my head and saw that it was an lady officer asking me. Beside her was a male officer.

" Yes." I said barely a whisper as I wiped y tears away. But no matter what they would just fall down.

" Please come with us to the police station. " She stated. I was dumbfounded. Why would I need to go there..?

" Hmm.. sorry police officer. But may I ask .. why...? " I questioned her.

She looked at me for a moment and said  " Someone reported you in stealing important information from a company and leaking them out. Also a young female girl reported you in beating a guy and killing him at night in the streets."

" What..? " I voiced out loud. Now I was getting mad. What stealing and killing. I would never in my life do that.

" Don't do anything rash. We have evidence. " The male officer said while taking a handcuff from his side pants in case I would do something.

" Now what. Evidences..? I never did the things you said...? " I snapped at them.
