The Start

"RINGG..RING" The school bell rang

A Few minutes later..

Mia and her brother Liam wait patiently for their mother at the school gate .They waited and waited, time passed rather quickly, the school students had left, most were at practices or clubs.

"That's weird mum hasn't come to pick us up yet, it been so long .Let's goo Liam, well ask her when we get home" said Mia unpatiently

"Okey Dokey"Liam said in a funny tone

They enjoyed their walk home both singing and dancing laughing at made up jokes

"Can we go to the park Mia " shouted Liam

"No Liam we have to go home mum must be waiting for dinner,.. How about we go after dinner" Mia said with simle

"Okayyyy" He said jumping with a bright smile

"Then we can also eat yummy yummy ice cream, right Mia"Liam said imagining all the different flavours he's ever ate

After some time they arrived home, they saw the door wide open. They look confused and look at each other and back at the door.

"That weird mum never leaves the door open"said Mia

They walked inside.

Mia heart started pounding. Her home destroyed in pieces, plates broken ,..shattered windows, curtains torn ..and her mother nowhere to be found.

"MUM..MUM ARE YOU HOME"she said out loud ,waking on top of the fallen furniture.

"Are you crazy, why you screaming, we are already in the house, your gona make the me go deaf" said Liam covering his ears

"Ok shush Liam and go outside and don't come in until I don't tell you too Ok" ordered Mia

"You're so mean ..your the one shouting and ...and you telling me to be guide ok FINEEEE be like that then"said Liam walking out the house angry

Mia walked through she saw her hand made picture frame which had been shattered in pieces she felt as if her heart had stopped ,the picture was her mother holding her as a child , seeing this she felt her mother around she quickly ran to each room to find he. Not working about the shattered glass that scar her soft feet .

"Mum" she mumbled

Liam POV

"She so mean " Liam said

"Who's mean to you kid" said the boy

Liam turned around and smiled. "Hi Ace"

"Hey kid, you want go to my house your dads already their ,he told me to come get you"he said

"Ok what about Mia "said Liam

"She'll already know your at my house because that were you come when you become a grumpy monkey" said Ace with a giggle

"Yeah" Liam said "wait grumpy, I don't come to your house when I'm grumpy. And how am I a monkey"he said

"Yeah your grumpy MONKEYYY "Ace pointed out

"Ok yeah ,let's see about that"Liam tried to kick Ace but his foot swag in the air and he stumbled down

"You can't kick me said Ace while runnin away "your to slow kid,you can't compete with "

"Oh really ill catch you right now "he stated, Liam got up and was trying to catch up with Ace

"Catch if you can "Ace said repeatedly

Soon they both ran out of breath and sat down near the park they laughed and laughed and lay down on the short green grass , they both relaxed their laughter and started into the evening sky.
