"Please come in" a soft female voice came from inside the room.

I opened the door, inside there was a husband and wife and a baby. I went in and closed the door.

"yoshio welcome" my father turned his attention to me.

"Ah, yoshio you came to visit kasan. Kasan loves you very much. Come and hug Kasan." my mother opened her arms towards me.

I ran still with flowers in my hands, hugging my mother. "Kasan, here are flowers for you."

My father's name is kudo yusaku. He is a famous mystery novel writer. My mother's name is Kudo yukiko. She is a famous actress. Kudo shinichi, my sister will be a detective.

You ask, how do I know? It's easy because this is Detective Conan's world.

That's right, I am a reincarnation. I have a good memory and have many skills from my previous life.

It's been two months since shinichi was born. Okasan and otosan bring shinichi out and won't be back until tomorrow. I don't want to go out so I stay at home.

I already got used to ignoring ghost. There's one time where I got lost. I saw a demon eating a human. I was lucky that I'm quite far. So I immediately ran. Kasan and otosan pick me up in the police box so I was safe.

I could classify the thing I see into 4. I find out about it when I hack the government, it's one of my skills. But I'm not skilled enough to dig deeper and only found out this things.

Ghost is dead people spirits, they will wander around until it was time for them to reincarnate. I heard it once from their conversation. They were given a numbered wooden plate. It will count down to zero. Once it turn zero they will dissappear and reincarnate. I heard there's a reincarnation agency nearby where the ghost get their plate. As long as they don't disturb anyone they were allowed to wander around.

Demon is a monster turned either from a human or a being that manifests from the negative energy around. They eat humans. And they can be seen. They usually stays in hell, however an accident happen a few decades ago, so the hell gate open. Those creatures start flowing out. An organization was mad eto dealt with it.

Evil spirit is a ghost with resentment. Could be solved either by making the evil spirit wish come true of exorcize it.

Magical creatures is creature who resides in mountains, shrine, or other sacred items or places. Because of these magical creatures that have a cleansing traits, although in a small area surrounding it, that place such as shrine is safe.

Today, I walk back alone. The sun almost set. I have to buy food so I took a detour. With my short leg I know I won't arrive home before the sun set. I'm scared. So I walk towards the nearest shrine. It works everytime a ghost follow me when I'm alone. I wish it would keep me safe.

On the way, I heard footsteps. Then I heard some ghost speak to each other.

A :"kawaisoo, that kid going to die"

B : "yeah. What a bad luck being preyed by a demon"

I flinch when I heard that. The two goes start to follow me when I get out of the convenience store.

A : "I bet 100 coin that he die "(coin \= gold coin. Death's money )

B : "I bet 150 coins that he lives"

A : " you should prepare the money, a puny child won't be able to outrun a demon."

B : " I don't think so. There's still one or two wandering human here. Soreni there's a shrine when we turn left at that intersection."

I started to walk faster. The footsteps also getting faster. The ghosts continues to gossip, but thanks to that I could keep my calm and arrive at the bottom of the stairs of the nearest shrine.

Just as I climb a few steps, I heard the B ghost scream, "look out!" the demon then pounce on me. I barely manage to dodge it, but I stumbled back to the ground.

A : "hah.... That almost made my heart jump out."

B : snort "I thought you want the child to die. With the bet and all." ghost B look at ghost A ready to throw a small stone to the demon.

A : "even if I bet the child die, I'll gladly fish out 100 coin to you if he live. I don't want to see him die"

B : "yeah right." ghost B also pick up a pebble, ready to distract the demon.

I'm thankful for the two ghosts. If not for them, I would already be dead. I make a note to myself to burn paper money for them. Demo I have a more important thing to do right now.

I jump to my left to dodge the Demon attack. But my left arm got scratched. Blood starts to flow down. The demon lick his hand, "what a delicious blood."

Just as the ghosts about to throw the pebble and the demon about to attack again. A figure run past me. Moreover that figure behead the demon with a shiny black sword. The ghost immediately hide behind a pole, still peeking at that man. The demons turn to ash.

As if congratulationing the man, the moonlight that has been blocked by cloud shower the man with it soft light, as the demon ash flutter away, making the man more majestic.

I'm frozen in place. I'm in admiration towards the man. The man sheath his sword. Afterwards, he turned facing me.

The man observe me. He soon found my bleeding arm. He com closer and kneel down to my level. I came to my self at the same time he do that.

"kid, let me see your hand. "

I unconsciously show my wounded arm to him. He grab my hand gently, and touch my wound. I was too dazed too notice the pain. Then his hand glow green. My wound close visible with my ***** eyes. But it's not totally cured yet.

"I'm sorry, I'm not good at healing," the man says as he take out his handkerchief. Next he wrap my arm with it. Because my body is small, the handkerchief is enough to cover it.

"kid, where's your mother or father? " the man ask patting my head.

"they are out. I will be alone tonight. " i answer, clenching his sleeve, determined to not let the man go.

The man was astonished that they could leave a boy as young as this alone. "where is your house? I'll take you home. "

I nod, "beika street. Onii-san what's your name? "

The man smile and carry me, he start walking to my house, " Izanagi Yota. "

My eyes shone brightly, "Yota niisan! "

Izanagi Yota eyes soften looking at me, "what's your name?"

"kudo yoshio! "

Izanagi nod.

"Yota niisan, I haven't eaten yet. If you also belum makan, let's eat together. " I plead, looking at Yota with puppy eyes. 'I must make him stay, then I'll ask him to teach me. The way he swing his sword is cool.'

We arrive inside of my house after we eat dinner. Fortunately, the food in my bag can be eaten tomorrow, so I can just eat it later. Yota put me down. Afterwards, I immediately grab his sleeves. He look at me questioningly, to ask what I want.

"Yota niisan I'm sacred. Otosan and kasan not home. Stay with me. "

Yota eyes turn wide, surprised at my proposal. When he thinks more about it, it's not unexpected. He sees me grabbing his sleeve not letting go. Yota sigh, he then take out his phone and text his colleague to take care of his shift tonight.

Yota pick me up again, "where's your bathroom? Let's take a bath and sleep "

We go to my room. I put down my bag and pick my clothes. Yota hang his uniform jacket. I know the jacket is a uniform because it has a badge. The badge look like a scythe.

Yota carry me again to the bathroom. He also take a bath and wash me. After the bath he wear a bath robe, because he doesn't have a change of clothes. Yota put me on my bed. Next, He put his clothes in the washing machine along with his jacket, so he can use it tomorrow.

"Yota niisan," I Call him.

"yes? " Yota cover me with blanket and wait for me to sleep.

"take me as your apprentice, " I say rubbing my eyes.

Yota was amazed by yoshio remark. He thinks to himself, 'I also want a cute apprentice like you, but it's too dangerous. It's not like I won't protect you, but I can't just stay beside you forever. If I can I would spoil you to death. You probably just want to learn to use sword. You don't know what my work is. ' Yota let out a sigh.

"gomen shio-kun. There are test you need to past to be my apprentice. "

"what test? " I ask not giving up.

"you need to be able to have a spiritual core. Not every one has it. " yota answer trying to make me give up as softly as possible. Yota continue, " spiritual energy is what we use to strengthen our body. We can move faster and our attack would be stronger. If you don't have spiritual core, you can't do it. " Yota speak to himself after he finish saying that. `we do need spiritual core, and it can grow. We also have tools that helps us figth demon but that's for later. `

"how do I know that i spiritual core? " I ask curious.

Yota answer as a matter of factly, "if you can see ghost, than you have it. "

"OK. I have it, so let me be your apprentice. "

"pardon? " Yota ask again. Afraid that he misheard it.

"I have the spiritual core."

Izanagi Yota immediately sit up. Astonishment shown in his face. He then thinks hard, 'not only he is cute, but he has potential. But it is still dangerous. Let's wait a few years. If he still want it, then I'll take him in. I also make sure to protect him. '

Yukiko ask suspiciously at him, "so what are you doing in our house? "

"well, let's sit and talk. It's not a good manner to let the guests stand in the hall. " yusaku invite them.

"yes, that would be good. " Yota smile

They walk to the living room and sit down on the sofa. They saw yoshio sleeping in the sofa covered in blanket.

"let's get to the point. Why are you here? " yusaku cross his leg.

"right. Yesterday while I'm on patrol, I found yoshio alone in the street. So I take it to myself to take care of him. " yota explain. He then think to himself, ' there's no way to say that a demon attacked your son. It won't be believable.'

Yota stand up planning to leave, "if there isn't anything else, I will take my leave. "

"wait! " yukiko called Yota. Yota halt his footstep, waiting for yukiko to finish her word. Yukiko immediately take out her phone.

"your phone number please. " yukiko give her phone to Yota.

Yota was enlightened when he sees it, " ah, yes. " yusaku also give his phone number to Yota.

After that Yota leaves taking his jacket with him.

My daily life. Usually otosan will bring me every where when he is free. From crime scene to other all kind of places. the place he brought me teach me a lot of things, for example piloting a helicopter and plane. Of course, he didn't do it when I am a child but when I'm old enough to understand it. The same with shinichi.

He also brought us to crime scenes and solve the problem with the police. Otosan and shinichi have good observations and deducing things. I might be good at observing but deducing is out of me.

I always stand behind, in awe seeing otosan solving the problem the police can't. The first time I saw a body I throw up. From then on, otosan only bring me if he is sure that there's no body. So shinichi goes more often than me.

When I go to school Izanagi Yota would always pick me up. We don't go to school by train. Yota bring me to a warp gate and teleport me to school. He doesn't go with me, as he still has a job.

He says the warp gate is limited. There are only 3 in Japan as it is small. Three of the warp gate each placed in the north, middle, and south. There's one in Tokyo so it's not hard to go there.

In the school, other than the school subject, we learn martial arts, military training, and exorcism.

I learn many things in that academy. From history about first war, the foundation of the shinigami agency or department. I also knows that shinigami is a common knowledge to people with a higher clearing level in the government.

I met Yakihiko Hessen when I first come to school. We have been best friend from then on. He is smart and strong. He also help me instal a program in my phone, and make a hologram.

I also become Yota apprentice, and accompany him to his patrol sometime. My parents only knows that I work with Yota, but doesn't know the kind of work we do. Sometimes we tell a newly made ghost to the Reincarnate centre, exorcize evil spirit, and killing demon.

Every student was given a gun a sword when the reach middle school. They have it saved in their watch, so they could be called out when they ever need it. They use spiritual energy to take it out and to keep it. The material that was used to make the sword and gun is konduksi to spiritual energy. Other than that the gun will fire normal bullet if you didn't give any spiritual energy.

It's morning, okasan and otosan is not home today. I am 15 years old now, meaning shinichi still 10. I'm watching news while eating my breakfast. The news shows that a bombing accident in shinjuku. It says that the culprit demand money if they don't want the bomb to explode.

I immediately stood up and prepare myself to go out. Shinichi is still sleeping. So I don't need to make excuses to go out.

I remember that there's two bomb. Each in a highrise building. One of the bomb explode and that person died. I have to hurry. I wear a black clothing, glove, and hat. It might be suspicious but better than my identity being caught.

I walk to train station to shinjuku. I open my phone, wear a headset so I can hear the news. I find the address and go there. When I arrive I saw the civilian just finish evacuation. Now the bomb defusion squad walk inside.

I know this is the building that's going to explode because they arrive earlier. And haven't found the other building yet.

Now the problem is how do I sneak inside. I detour to the back door. I tried to open the back door, surprisingly it's open. `probably because of the evacuation. In case the backdoor is needed so they open it. `

I walk inside without hindrance. ' they really are relaxed in the security' I thought as I sneak through to see which floor their going to. Once I found out I goes to another elevator that have different place, which I found when I stealth through from the back.

I stop one floor below theirs and walk up with the emergency stairs. Once I reach in front of the emergency room upstairs, I peek through the door. I almost got a jump scare when I notice one of the guard stand right beside the door. I manage to keep quiet somehow.

The emergency door is open so if anyone pass by they would be able to see me. I lay down and look around. Fortunately he is the only guard.

I pull out a sleep talisman. Put it on the guard. He then fall asleep. I manage to catch him and his equipment before it falls down. I put down the shield first. Then I carry him down The emergency stairs. Put him on the flat surface on the ground in the emergency stairs.

'ugh, it's heavy. If it weren't for the training that I got I would already fall.'

I take off his protective clothes so I can use it. ' it's really troublesome to use this. But I have to if I want to be alive.' I mock myself at that.

I joined their formation. No one suspected anything, as their too nervous with the bomb. Kenji hagiwara already opened the bomb. `The bomb isn't that complex, so even I can defuse it with the knowledge I gain from school.` Yes the academy also teach bomb defusing.

The timer on the bomb turn black. Kenji hagiwara smile, "looks like the other department fullfill what the criminal demand. Alright, you guys don't need to surround me. It's stuffy. "

The others let their guard down and step back. Other sit down in the seat around them. I am anxious. Just as I was about to persuade him to continue defuse the bomb, his phone ring. He also pick it up.

As he speak on the phone, I was planning to defuse the bomb myself, but I don't have the tool. The tool that kenji hagiwara use is still in his hand. I took a barier talisman. It's weak but it will reduce the explosion.

I forgot to bring the talisman that I made. The talisman in my wacth is the lowest grade given from when we start practicing making talisman. It's fortunate enough that I have some. I took out all of them and I mean just three of them. I modify it A little so the barrier work in reverse.

When the bomb start counting down, kenji hagiwara immediately turn around and shout for us to get down. I take advantage of the time gap, put the talisman on the bomb and kick it to the corner where no one there.

The barriers reduce the explosion alot, it cause the Window to break and fire to start. Fortunately, the bomb defuser squad protective clothing is thick enough to let them survive without a scratch, only some of them is unconscious, that include kenji hagiwara as he didn't wear any.

I look around for fire extinguisher. Found it in the corner. The bomb was handled, that only leaves for the fire.

' I understand why kenji hagiwara doesn't want to wear this. It's too stuffy.'

I leave my shield to pick up the fire extinguisher in the other corner of the room. Then run to fire and start using it. The fire haven't gotten that big yet, thus using just one barely enough. While the rest of the small fire, I took of my protective gear and trow it to the fire. `As expected of the bomb squad protective gear, it's fire proof. `
