The Obsessive Duke Desires Me
Chapter 1 - A Friend (18+)
CONTAINS MATURE CONTENT. IF YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE WITH MATURE CONTENT, I DON'T RECOMMEND YOU READ THIS CHAPTER. REMEMBER, YOU CHOSE TO READ THIS, NOT ME. DON'T REPORT. THANK YOU.
I couldn't breathe. His warm fingertips ran down my body, my dress barely covering anything.
Bastian Callais
Liana, you're so beautiful in the moonlight...
I moaned, my legs feeling more and more weak every time he slid his hands up and down.
Bastian Callais
My wife... you don't realise how lovely this feels for me.
I tightened myself up against Cal after he began hitting a specific place inside, his expression tensing and snarling in utter pleasure while he continued to move.
I couldn't keep my eyes open. Right now, lying down on a bed on all fours, the man that I love and hate the most in this world behind me, our bodies connected.
Bastian Callais
You make me crazy...
The moonlight is shining through, and even though I couldn't see him, I knew that it was lighting up my skin for his viewing pleasure.
Bastian Callais
Without you, the world is not worth living in. Let me protect you.
He shifted inside of me, my hands gripping tightly onto the sheets.
I felt trapped in his embrace, unable to escape.
How did I find myself in this situation? How did I end up making the most notorious villain, who hated women more than anything, to fall in love with me so much that he became not only obssessive but possessive as well, unwilling to let me peacefully be with anyone but him?
Bastian Callais
You'll only show your body to me, right?
Bastian Callais
Whoever sees even a bit of your sweet skin and find it tempting, I'll kill them. I won't even let your maids get away with viewing this flushed sight of you...
How can he go from being sweet to flirtatious to obsessive in the blink of an eye?
And how did I end up connecting with such an overbearing, borderline stalker, powerful and handsome man?
Well, let me start from the beginning...
I sat in my classroom, staring at the clock, waiting for it to turn.
There's only one minute left of the school day, and I'm desperate for it to end.
The heat, which started off nice enough, has become unbearable.
Heat waves are nice in movies, but in real life, when you have to wear three layers of uniform because your school would send you home otherwise, is a reason for heatstroke.
The AC is blasting as much cold air into the classroom, but it still isn't enough.
I look at the front of the class and the bell rings.
Everyone got up and ran as fast as they could out of the classroom, desperate to get past school gates to take off their blazers and waistcoats.
Where were they headed? Most likely the pool, or the ice coffee shop which actually feels like a freezer when you step inside of it.
Meanwhile, I slowly got up and threw my bag over my shoulders.
Just as I was about to leave, I checked my phone and a single unread message popped up in my notifications.
Clicking on it, I saw who had sent it and closed the phone again.
Rell
"Meet me at the Hastings Brew, I have something for you!"
That message, which was quickly followed by a bunch of emojis made me understand how someone as expressive as her could end up to be the most popular girl at school.
Rell and I never say hello to each other at school. We never acknowledge each other's presence and we never say hi to each other, even if we are alone.
I met her at Hastings Brew, our common meeting place.
She was writing on her laptop next to the bar, and I knew it was rude of me, but I began reading what she was doing and was I surprised!
She was writing a sxx scene between a character named Mailyss and another character named Arthur.
And when I say that it was descriptive, I mean it was descriptive.
I jumped, immediately taken aback. I went to apologise but she immediately interrupted me.
Rell
I want to know your opinion... do you mind reading my novels for me?
And that's how Rell and I started to hang out. After school, we'd spend hours at the café. She'd buy me a bunch of bubble tea and I'd read her stories in exchange.
When I say every single one was R18, I mean it.
I never expected someone like Rell, who seemed to be perfect and untouched, to be into R18 novels, much less writing them.
I arrived at the café sweating buckets, my blazer and waistcoat in my hand, my hair in a terrible state.
But there she was, typing away at her laptop, her hair and makeup immaculate.
Rell
Great timing, guess what I just finished?
Another novel, no doubt...
I tried telling her that I hadn't even finished the latest novel she had handed me, but she wouldn't have it.
Rell
Nevermind that one. This one is my masterpiece!
Rell
You have to read this!
And that's how I ended up reading "The Obsessive Duke Is The Villain"... and the main protagonist happened to share my name.
That was my first reading of the novel, and little did I know how relevant the contents were going to become to my life.

Also, this novel will be finished over the course of three months. I've already written most of the chapters and there is a backlog, and I won't be making any other novels (apart from one exception, you'll see soon enough so look out for it!) until I've finished this one. Misty promise!
Chapter 2 - Illustrious Writer
I couldn't believe it. The more I read, the more I was immersed in the story.
The main protagonist was the secret daughter of a Duke who had her grow up in the safe adjacent capital of the country in fear that his rivals would assassinate her.
She was raised up to kill any enemies of her father within the nobility without getting caught.
She falls in love with the Prince at her ball and they become engaged right away.
Her father doesn't approve of the marriage and tries to use his influence as Duke to make them break up.
Then, there's the male lead, Bastian Callais.
He becomes obsessed with killing the female lead after her father forces her to kill his ill mother.
Once he gets a hold of her and keeps her imprisoned, his hate slowly turns into obsessive love as he tries to remove any other source of happiness but him in her life.
It's really twisted and wrong, especially when he successfully brainwashes the female lead into thinking that she is his wife after she gets amnesia.
She falls in love with him after losing her memories and gives birth to a child.
The story goes on and on until the moment that the Prince finds her. Her memories return to her and she finally kills Bastian.
The Prince, disgusted by her and the fact that she had a child by him, put her on trial for treason and executed her.
The story ends there, a tale full of emotional and psychological drama.
Liana Ashton
This... is one of your best works yet!
Rell
Do you think my fans would like to sink their teeth into it?
She's talking about her online fans.
Rell is mostly known under the pseudonym "Misty Lume" online.
She's quite popular, and people seem to enjoy her R18 scenes especially.
Liana Ashton
I'm just wondering something...
Rell
Okay, go ahead! Tell me!
Liana Ashton
Why does the main character... share my name?
Liana isn't a common name.
It's normally short for Eliana but Liana is on my birth certificate.
Rell
Did you pick up on that? Yeah, my bad~.
Liana Ashton
So you DID do it on purpose!
She pulled out her tongue, amused.
Rell
Maybe I did, maybe I didn't.
Anyway, I'm submitting it now~.
Liana Ashton
What? No, you can't! Not before you change the name of the protagonist!
Rell
No can do, Ana~. And... send~!
Liana Ashton
Rell! I'm serious!
Rell
Ooh, look at that! We've already gotten ten views! Oh, the more and more I refresh, the more views I'm getting!
Rell
What? I'm sorry, are you really angry at me?
Liana Ashton
Not angry... I don't know, just... I need to go.
Rell
What? No, don't! Stay, I need your help brainstorming for books 2 and 3! This is going to be my first trilogy!
I pick up my boba tea on the way out, closing the door of the café.
Immediately, I was met with a harsh wave of heat, which nearly swept me off of my feet.
I walked forward, slowly staggering as I held my head.
I'm feeling so dizzy... I can't look straight...
As I took a few steps forward, walking off of the curb.
The last thing I heard was the sound of a horn before pain rushed through my body and I fell into the abyss.

Chapter 3 - Transmigration
Liana Brekker (Young)
O-Ouch...
I held my head, the sunlight blazing over my head.
Martin
This is not the time to be looking at the sun, My Lady.
At least I don't feel as hot today.
I looked forward and suddenly, my eyes went wide when I saw a man rushing towards me, a wooden sword in hand.
I flinched and waited for impact, only to open my eyes to see him standing above me, much taller than I thought he'd be.
Martin
I have delayed this training long enough for your body to fully cope with it.
Martin
To be an assassin, one must move swiftly in the shadows, unbeknownst to anyone.
Martin
They must strike powerfully in a single blow, too perfect to miss or to be parried.
What is he going on about?
Martin
That is your duty as the Young Lady of the Brekker Duchy, the heiress to the fortune and prestige that your family name carries.
Martin
You have been sent to me to train as a weapon, as an asset to the Brekker lineage.
Martin
You, Liana Brekker, shall one day become the first Duchess in history to ascend a title without a spouse.
Martin
It is my duty not to disappoint your father, the Duke.
I thought it was a dream, but after training all day with the man supposedly called Martin, my sore muscles the very next morning were indicative that this was not a dream.
I really was in the world of the novel created by Rell herself... and I had become the protagonist, my namesake, Liana Brekker.
The woman who is tortured and imprisoned before getting executed by her fiancé for "betraying" him.
After realising that this was my life, I began writing everything that I remembered from the book.
The smallest details, even the small role characters.
Everyone, I needed to remember everyone's role so that does not happen to me.
In order for the Duke not to become obsessed with me, I just needed to convince my father when the time came not to kill his mother.
I needed not to get engaged with the Prince and above all, I needed to go through with the assassin training.
As years went by and I matured, I strengthened my mind and became the weapon hidden within layers of tulle and frills.
During the day, I had tutors teach me management and etiquette and every necessity to becoming a lady of high society.
In the evenings, I was dispatched on missions and sent to gather information depending on what my father needed.
Slowly but surely, the prequel chapters of the novel were becoming less and less relevant, and the main plot of the story was fast approaching.
But there were plot-holes in Rell's story.
My father died of a heart disease when I was only 15. That part was NOT in Rell's original novel.
But instead of inheriting the title, it was passed onto my uncle with the condition that he cared for me like his own daughter.
A pretense that I quickly understood to be a way to hand me off to another master. However, unlike my father, my uncle was kind and preferred to destroy his adversaries with information, not knives.
Alophos Brekker
As stated in the contract I signed when I became Duke, you're identity as my niece will only be revealed on your 18th birthday. Until then, I ask that you remain in the country house honing your crafts.
Alophos Brekker
I don't see you as a tool. You may leave at any time, Liana.
My life had already been turned upside down by my transmigration, and I've devoted years of my life training to be strong enough to protect myself.
Perhaps it's my dislike of people who quit half-way, but I don't want to stop.
And so, I became part of the information warfare that my uncle had dived head-first into and unlike my father, he never forced me to kill.
And that is how I became an assassin with a kill count of exactly zero.
