Beautiful sky, big fountains, colorful birds, playful people, crowded markets, decorated streets. These are some views of Ambuja Empire (Lotus Empire). It is known for its big and expensive markets. Top best market among all the big empires because of the sources and gold available there in a huge amount.
A young was roaming around with some of his personal guards following him. He yawned, "I thought it would be enjoyable looking at the markets. But that's no different than looking at cows and goats playing and running. The humans are even worse." He shook off his head and looked at the other side. He saw it was a sweet market. He beamed with an exciting smile, "That's it. We're going there. Let's go." He ordered his guards.
The guards disagreed, "General, his majesty has ordered us to check the quality of materials at the market. We were not here for sweets. Were we?"
The general's name was Prem Dhanush, which literally means Love bow. He was 26 years old at the time.
Prem sighed and looked at the guards, "Why? Can't we just at least get inside? Why do you guys do this to me?" He was upset because the only thing that could melt him was sweets. Looking at is upset face, the guards immediately agreed, "Fine fine. Don't give us that dramatic look of yours." they sighed.
Prem immediately giggled with happiness and went inside.
"You're finally here." The voice was very familiar. This surprised Prem. When he turned around and took a look behind him, he saw it was the emperor, Shoolin (name's meaning-One who has a trident, Lord Shiva) , himself. This shocked him to hell.
"Y..Your majesty...? You..here?" Shocked Prem as well as the guards greeted the emperor with their heads down. They felt embarrassed and awkward for being caught like that red handed. Emperor Shoolin stood up from the chair and fixed his hair. While the guards and general Prem kept their heads down.
Emperor Shoolin walked towards Prem and smiled, "I knew this would be boring for you. And I also knew that you'd definitely visit this sweet shop thats why i waited for you here. You should've told me earlier if this wasn't interesting for you, Prem." He said and told them to rise up.
Prem looked at Shoolin and smiled awkwardly, "I...I am sorry your majesty...I didn't mean that." He said and looked away in embarrassment.
Emperor Shoolin shook his head off and replied, "Enough! You come with me. Guards, I'll send someone else to you. You all wait here or have some food." He ordered. Everyone nodded and bowed. Greeted then left, except Prem.
Shoolin had taken Prem back to the palace. They were sitting in the royal court while having meal. "I have a better job for you." Emperor said and took the bite from his plate. Prem looked at him and asked, "Am I worth for it?"
"Of course you are."
"Then you must order me, your majesty. Your command shall always be obeyed."
They discussed the whole matter and enjoyed their meal.
Next day, the sun was brightening differently today. Prem had dramatic tears in eyes. While sobbing, he looked at the palace as if it was the last time and then looked at the emperor. "I will do my job with all my efforts!" he was so energetic today.
Emperor Shoolin chuckled and shook his head, "You don't ave to be so dramatic. You're soon going to come back anyways. So don't get moved by it and just focus on your journey. Don't forget to enjoy yourself while working. Do you get what i'm saying?"
Prem nodded and smiled. "I'll do as you say. I shall leave now." he greeted his majesty and then walked towards the carriage.
Emperor Shoolin immediately walked ahead and extended his hand to help Prem climbing the stairs.
When Prem was all in, the horses began to move. Prem peeped outside the carriage moving the curtains aside while leaving. He looked at his majesty and waved while smiling widely, "See you soon, your majesty!"
Shoolin waved back while smiling.
After that Prem closed the curtains and the carriage soon disappeared from Shoolin's sight. His smile faded, "Why don't I feel good sending him so far away from me?"
A day had passed. Prem was on his journey to China for some trade discussions with the officials regarding markets and capital. He was getting bored. He yawned and looked outside through the window of the carriage.
"His majesty should've let me drive the horse instead. How fun would it be." He thought and sighed.
It was night and all the guards were changing their duty positions. Some were getting into another carriage to complete their sleep for next day while the other guards who were resting got out and replaced the ones before. They continued their journey, till after a week or more, they reached their destination.
It was cold there. The snow was falling. When Prem stepped out of his carriage. New place. new weather, new people, new surroundings, everything was new. Which was making him excited and nervous at the same time.
He inhaled. "Your majesty. Don't worry. I'll find my way. I won't disappoint you."
