' Ma ri , What are you doing on the roof ? Haven't you packed your luggage yet? Hurry up, Do it fast !! We'll be leaving tommorow. ' My mother said.

' I know ! I'll do it. ' I replied.

Hi , I'm Seong Ma ri . I'm 18 year old , a high school student.

I live in Daegu with my mom. My dad passed away when I was 5 year old in cardiac arrest. My Mom is a doctor. She oftenly stays at hospital due to work. So you can say that I grew up living alone. Moreover I don't have any friend. But luckily I'm good at my studies.

Tommorow we are shifting to Seoul due to my mother's transfer in Seoul hospital. I'm neither sad nor happy. This is my last year in high school, so I just wants to make some friends. That's my real aim. I hope I could make some friends there.

' Ma ri , Wake up!! It's 8 already.' She said while knock at my door hardly.

' Hurry up! Come , have some food. Are you done with your packing? ' She asked while chewing the food.

' Mmm...' I replied in a low voice.

' Okay ! Make sure to check it again before leaving. Okay?' she said.

' Yeah ! ' I replied.

Around 10 we left for Seoul. It took almost 3 hours to reach there. Not a long distance, just two hundred and seventy seven kilometres. A new city , new home , new school. Everything is new but the old me. My mom bought a flat here. I rushed to see the view from the lobby. And yes! It worths.

' It's beautiful , isn't it?' my mom said.

' Yeah ! It's quite good.' I replied.

' Then what about our home in Daegu. Did you sell it ? ' I asked.

' Hmm. Since we are planning to more back. I sold it. Let's give a fresh start to our life in this beautiful city. Okay!' she said with a humble smile.

' I already talked to my friend about your school. So don't worry. You can start it away from tomorrow. All your stuff is ready.' she said.

' Mom , can I stay at home tomorrow? I'm not feeling well. Also I'm tired. ' I asked her.

' Mmm , Okay! ' she replied.

*Actually, To be honest I am nervous. I don't know if I'm able to adjust myself in this new environment or not. I need some time calm myself. Next morning , My mom left early as usual. So I thought I should go out. I walked around some places and then I decided to visit my school.

When I reached there. I saw a huge building of the school. I can see some students there also. Seems to be a good environment. That's a relief! Now I think I can come to the school tomorrow without any worries.

Then I left from there. On my way I thought I should buy some snacks then my eyes turned towards a narrow street.

Where some boys were fighting. I tried to escape from there secretly but one of them caught me looking at them.

Then he stopped and suddenly start staring at me with those horrific eyes.

I turned my eyes. Actually I was trembling with fear and my legs were freezed there. I tried to peek at them whether he is still looking at me or not but when I turned around he was standing behind me. I fell under fear*.

He gave me his hand.

' Are you alright?' He asked.

But I was so scared that I ran away from there.

Next morning I went to school. I met my class teacher.

He brought me to the classroom with him.

'Now everyone quiet!! Today a transfer student came to our class. Let's invite her. Transfer student, come in.' He said.

I stepped in the classroom. Which was as big as my previous one. Everyone was looking at me. I got nevous.

' Please introduce yourself.' he said.

' Hello, I'm Seong Ma ri. ' I said in a trembling voice.

There is unwanted silence. Why everyone is so quiet? Did I say something wrong? Everyone is looking at me right now with a weird look. This is really making me more nervous.

' That's all?' my new teacher asked me while breaking this unwanted silence.

' Yeah.' I nodded and answered him.

Everyone clapped and welcomed me.

' Okay! You can sit next to Sung Ho.' he said while pointing his finger towards a boy who was sleeping.

I went and sat there. Then suddenly the boy wake up and looking at me.

I shouted loudly and fell from my desk.

' Hello!' he said in a deep his voice.

He was same guy whom I saw yesterday in that fight.

' Ma ri , are you alright ?' Teacher asked.

Now I remember that I didn't noticed his uniform yesterday. He was wearing the same uniform. And now I'm in same class as him. Sitting next to him. My bad!!

' Ma ri , Seong Ma ri !! What is it?' Teacher asked.

' Oh...I... I'm fine, I'm sorry.' I replied.

I am so startled by seeing him. What should I do now? Should I behave like I saw nothing. Yeah ! that right ! I should avoid him as much as I can. I shouldn't look at him.

I should focus on my studies.

' Kang Bo ra .Nice to meet you.' My new classmate said to me.

' Yeah.' I replied with a smile.

' You came from Daegu ?' She asked.

' Yup.' I replied.

' What was the reason of your transfer ?' she asked again.

' Mmm... it's cuz of my mom. She has been transferred to Seoul 's hospital.' I replied.

' I see. It's okay, since you're new here you can rely on me. Let's be friends. Okay!' she asked.

Finally I made someone my friend. But I have to be careful. First ,I shouldn't do something weird. And Second, I mustn't involve in that guy's life anymore.'

Bo ra has very pleasant personality. She a lively person. She oftenly smiles at everyone. Helps everyone. And very caring. That's why she has a lot of friends. I should also be like her. Since such kind of person is my friend. I'll be able to make more friends and to live a normal life.

' Ma ri , this is our canteen. And if you go there you will find our cafeteria. And there is basketball ground. Do you want to go there ? ' She asked.

' Ofcourse. ' I replied.

' Oh my there he is !! ' she said excited.

There were some boys playing basketball. But why she so excited about it ?

I was thinking about it but then suddenly Bo ra shouted....

' Ma riyaaaaa, watch it !!! '

The ball hit my head hardly. And I fall down. I lost my consciousness. Then I slowly came in my senses. Everything was little blurry. I could see someone was standing right in front of me.

' Ahh....it hurts!' I said While rubbing my head.

'Oh my god, Ma ri...Ma ri , are you alright ?' Bo ra asked.

' Where am I ?' I asked in a low voice.

I slowly opened my eyes properly and got up. A tall and handsome boy was standing in front of me. He was looking at me with his cold eyes. But I fall for him at the first sight.

I was looking at him without a blink.

But Bo ra brake the silence and said ' You're in infirmary.' She replied.

' Are you alright ? ' He asked.

I can't believe this. Is he asking me ? Wohh!! He is talking to me. He is so handsome. Oh my god. What should I do now?

' I....I am fine.' I replied.

My heart was beating so fast at the same time.

' But why your face is so red.' Bo ra asked.

' It's good that you're fine. I accidentally hit you. I'm sorry ' he said.

' No...it's okay. Why are you apologising. It wasn't your fault. Actually I was standing in your way.' I replied.

' Since you're fine. I'll leave now.' he said.

' Oh , I'm really sorry Ma ri. It all happened cuz of me.' She said.

' No. It's okay. I wasn't careful.' I replied.

' You're so kind. Then I'll compensate for today. Let's grab some delicious food after school. It'll be my treat.' she said.

' What ? You wanted to go with me !' I asked.

' Ofcourse ! We are best friends, aren't we?' she said.

I can't believe this my first day. And I met such a good person. I didn't expect this much. Now she is even inviting me to join her after school.

Yesterday I did a lot of fun with my new friend Kang Bo ra.

We even went to karoke. Really I was missing this in my life. Some good things happened to me on my first day and some of them were very bad. Today is my second day and I'm quiet excited.

' Mom, I'm leaving.' I said.

' Hey wait, Today I might not come home. So here is some money. Order from restaurant. Okay !' She said and left.

We came to a new city but she is still the same. Always so busy. She was the one who said let's make a new start and now she is again doing the same things.

' Ma ri , Good morning. You came.' She said with a bright face.

' Hm.' I replied.

' Yesterday was fun. What do you think of today? Do you have any other plan. If not , let's go again today.' She asked.

' Hey !! Choi Sung Ho. ' that handsome guy said in a cold way.

' What ?' Sung Ho replied.

' Why you haven't submitted you assignment yet? The day before yesterday was last day.' He asked.

' I'm not in mood right now. Don't disturb me.' He replied and laid his head down.

' Submit it till up to tommorow. ' He said and left.

' These two always gave me negative vibes.' She said.

' Wasn't he the same guy from basketball court yesterday ?' I asked.

' Who ? Kim Seo jin ! Yeah. He is the class president. Don't you know?' She asked.

' Kim Seo Jin. No I didn't know.' I replied.

' Yeah. He is handsome but cold in nature. Mostly every girl from our school have a crush on him.' She replied.

' I see. What about you?' I asked.

' Oh I already have a cute boyfriend. ' she replied.

Thank God she doesn't like him. Otherwise I had to give up on him. Though He have a cold personality but I'm fine with it .

I was coming back from library when I thought I should visit the basketball court again to him. When I reached there he is there. Playing by himself. He was looking so cool while playing. For a moment I lost in his charm. Then I brought myself back. I left from there. I was looking for a quiet place to do some homework. So I reached at terrace.

But I found Sung ho there.

OMG ! Why he is everywhere ? He haven't noticed me yet. So I should leave without making any noise.

' Where are you going?' He asked in his deep voice.

I turned and replied ' I didn't know you were here. Keep doing your thing. I'll leave.'

' Did I tell you leave? Come here.' He said.

I'm hella afraid of him.

' What are you doing here?' he asked me.

' A... actually I came here to do some homework. Since you're here. I'll not disturb you.' I said and was about to go.

' Why are you in such a hurry?' he said and came closer to me.

I was stepping backward but he was coming more and more closer to me.

' W...what?!!' I asked.

He bent down and brought his face closer to me.

And said ' Nothing.' with a smirk.

And further added ' let's get along well.' and left.

What was that ? He is so scary. Who wants to get along with him?

When I turned around he suddenly appeared again and I was about to fall but he hold my hand.
