I smile to myself as I head off-campus, back toward my apartment.
I climb up the small wall at the edge of the park to get the best view.
I watch through my sunglasses as the edge of the moon's shadow starts to creep over the sun.
Everything gets a little darker, and I can feel the air growing cooler.
I shiver as a chill runs through me.

(Somehow this feels really eerie.)
The shadow slowly envelops the Sun ,until all that's left is a bright halo around a dark circle.

Wow...A total solar eclipse!
Suddenly the ground shakes violently beneath my feet, and a deep rumble echoes across the path.

(Was that an earthquake?)
I stumble and loose my footing . Instead of the ground, I hit something solid but soft.

Opening my eyes, I look up into a pair of dreamy, yellowish brown-hazel eyes.
Her slender arms embrace me, keeping me from falling.
My heart is pounding but atleast the ground has stopped moving.

Lost in the moment, I almost don't notice sudden footsteps behind me.
A woman with silver hair rushes out from behind the wall towards me, drawing a knife.
