"Officers,you did a good job.As you all know that a new mission is waiting for you from the very next month,so we have decided to give you all a month leave to relax with your family before starting this mission.Enjoy with your family.Dismiss" ordered the commander.

"Ughh finally we can relax guys.Now lets just pack our things and run fast as we can and as far as we can" exclaimed Mendes,stretching his arms and looking at the sky ,eyes closed..

"Yeah bro,lets leave"said his friends while Sam patted his back but a bit harder which made Mendes run after Sam.They chased each other for half an hour,while other friends laughed at their kiddish fight,waiting for them to stop so that they can leave for their home.After sometime all of them packed their bags and left for their home.

Mendes,major in US army,was 6'2 ,handsome hunk,spectacular muscular body and extremely caring towards his family and friends,as the officers of any part of this world generally are.His brown hairs,grey eyes and sharp features of his face made him an ideal type for most of the girls out there,but not all actually...

Mendes and Sam ,being the neighbours and best friends or childhood friends,lived in Texas.

2 DAYS LATER ...

"Cheers guys,to our one month freedom"shouted the boys who were officers few days back but now behaved like backstreet boys(not actually😂).

"See Sam,don't you think that girl likes me.She is looking at me"said Tucker pretending to be drunk after having 6 bottles of wine but actually none of them were because their harsh training in the battlefield made them tough,,tough enough to handle these kind of drinking habits...Girls around considered them some drunkards but their handsome faces were stopping them from considering them so.While Sam was sitting in the corner , shouting and weeping for his mother without any tears " mommy take me back,I wanna go",Edward laughing without any reasons,Mendes dancing with wine bottle on his head and other trying to stop Mendes from doing so cuz they wanted his bottle on their head."Give me your bottle Mendes ,I will dance with your bottle only.Give it you idiot"cried John...(What a trouble makers,or we should say what an imposters😂)

"Go and give those drunkards their bill,are they thinking to drink whole wine bottles of this shop or what" said the Manager to one of the waitress who was already sweating to death with the thought that she had to go to those boys.😅

"Anna ,I promise I will treat you to dinner tonight,please give them their bill" said Sara trying to avoid this deadly situation which the manager said her to do ." Girl,I'll treat you to your whole day meal,don't force me into this deadly situation.All the best girl.Go on my tigress" said Anna in a funny tone completly avoiding her offer.

"Help me god😢" said Sara in her mind,took the bill and went towards them.

"Sir, yo-yo-your bill.Please pay this on the cash counter and.." before Sara could complete her words,Tucker interfered,"SEE GUYS,THIS IS THE GIRL WHO LIKES ME ...HEHEHE..I LIKE YOU TOO GIRL" shouted Tucker and all the boys turned towards her in unision which made Sara shocked 😰😰and she threw the bill on Mendes's face and ran like anything."I guess she dosen't like you my boy" said John and started laughing...

"Last time you said that next time you will treat us to dinner,take this our dinner party and go pay the whole bill you useless"said Edward in a hazy tone while others supported him like hell😲😲😗😗...

"Yeah yeah you dumbasses,going...hehe haha hahahahhaha" said Mendes and started laughing,showing he was drunk (which he wasn't guys😑)...

He went to the cash counter with wavy steps,gave the cashier the amount which was exactly ten cents extra from the required amount."Take this girl and I don't have the change so keep those ten cents.No need to return the money .Keep it,hehehe😩"said Mendes pretending again to be unconscious.

("KEEP THIS TEN CENTS YOU GIRL OF A BITCH.THIS IS WHAT YOU AND YOUR BODY AMOUNTS TO ME...TEN CENTS, JUST TEN HAHAHHA JUST TEN")

"HEY,hey you beautiful I am talking to you,take the cash and keep the change"said Mendes...

"What do you guys think,you can buy whatever you want with your money,telling me to keep the change and you rascals have guts to walk around in open streets.You should be hanged to death"shouted Hailey with tears of anger in her eyes...

"Hey hey relax girl ,If you think that keeping those cents is against your rules then give it back to me .No need to get this angry" said Mendes amused and recalled what wrong did he say.....😢😢

"Hey ,what happened guys,why are you both arguing"asked his friends as this noise made them serious and brought them back from their jolly mood😨

"You are this cheap that you cannot afford to leave ten cents,I don't have change as well" said Hailey unaware that she was the one who asked him to take the change...

"Fine girl,give it if you want or take it if you want ,do as you please"said Mendes confused about the whole situation..."Sir,the shop is about to close so you all may leave,the gate is that way" said Hailey sarcastically which made boys uncomfortable,brought them back to normal and they left taking Mendes who was still in shock that what wrong did he say...

"What did I say back then" asked Mendes to his friends while moving out of the cafe..."Leave it bro,she might be disturbed due to something"said Sam and patted his back...

Just while leaving the cafe Mendes turned to see Hailey, their eyes met and Sam dragged him from that cafe's window...

Hailey was staring Mendes like anything...😠😡😡

Shouted Mendes as he came out of his dream recalling those words which he felt like thunder in his ears...

" Ughh , why am I thinking all this and why can't I get those words off my head"said Mendes ,annoyed as he streached his right hand to balance his body weight on the bed while his left one scratched his messy hairs, which were not messy enough to make his beautiful face look bad...

He moved out of his bed wearing slippers. He was wearing grey casual T-shirt and black trousers whose one side was rolled till his knee length while one was left free till the ankle...He went to make a cup of coffee to get his mind stable , started his coffee machine to prepare the coffee and rested his arms on the slab of the table and closed his eyes.From nowhere all the flashbacks of yesterday's fight started coming through his mind and he started recalling the appearance of the girl,"She was , amm wearing white shirt, red - no maroon appron,her hairs , her hairs , were they brown or blond ...Ughh its not coming in my mind "...

"Why is my home like this , has she not come yet" said Mendes as he picked his phone from one hand to call his maid Maria who was not there yet and coffee mug from other hand and started taking sips of coffee and dialed her number...

"Maria aunty, why haven't you arrived till now. You know that I am an officer and I don't like my works to be delayed" said Mendes in a bossy tone but scared at the same time because Maria was an Italian aged lady who always irritated him from her Italian words and stuffs.." Ohh my son , ...." she continued talking but he kept his phone away from his ears as he did not like Italian words and he did not have a bit of Italian essence " what the, this lady started talking on the phone as well " he thought and brought his phone back to his ears and said " aunt tell me why didn't you come?" " Ohh my son I am very sorry I cannot continue my work at your house because of my family issues . I will find my work near my house . Oh my son you were so..." she kept on talking but he interrupted " alright aunty , no issues . I will find someone else . Thanks alot for everything" and cut his phone and said " Why this lady always keeps on nagging around me and iritating me,its good that she left" ( read this in Italian accent guys😂)*

" So Mendes , now you have two things to do, first find a good house maid for yourself and second go in that coffee shop and find that girl who overreacted without any reason. I need to find the reason behind that" he said to himself as he finished his coffee , took the towel kept on his couch and went to take bath...

"So, wallet , watch , car keys , yeah I guess I took everything" said Mendes to himself while he was moving out of his house to go to the cafe..He checked again and again his things and the house as his eyes roamed around the whole room as he had his maid taking care of his house but now as he was left alone , he wanted to be aware and alert. For the first time he took his house keys with himeself which he usually kept under his door matress for his maid to come in.

He was wearing black shirt with grey slim fit pants which was ankle length. He was wearing formals but still looked so casual and handsome.He complimented his dress with black sneakers , brown belt watch on his muscular hand and combed his hair once and kept them wavy and fluffy without using gel . He did not use such stuffs which generally boys did but still looked so handsome , muscular and dashing....

He locked the door and went towards the lift but as he was an army officer , did not have the habit of using luxuries so instead choosed stairs to get down although his flat was on 15th floor . His body posture and steps confirmed that he surely was an army brat , even walking on the stairs his steps were equally distributed and was in a rhythmic manner , as a well trained officer should walk..He surely had all the charactersistics that all the girls wanted in their prince

charming but ,,,only few gets this luck...

As he reached 10th floor , he saw a girl in early twenties walking towards him and wishing him good morning," Goodmorning handsome, you going somewhere? Should I accompany you . It would be great fun spending a day together , just you and me" the girl said and started walking towards him with flirtatious eyes.." No little sister, no need " said Mendes in joking manner and went ahead which made the girl irritated as her plans about him always flopped," Remember Mendes, I will make you mine one day, I am not your sister "😬

Mendes reached near his car walking without getting exhausted and smiling for the kiddish act girls around him did to impress him , sat and left for the cafe...

Mendes reached the cafe and entered , the wind chimes hung at the entrance produced a tingling sound which made a girl notice Mendes and she greeted," Welcome sir , please have a seat " .."Thanks alot ", said Mendes in a soft tone ...His polite behaviour made the girl notice but she felt that she had seen the guy before," Is he the one who was with his friends yesterday drinking and dancing " thought Sara in her mind ." If he was the guy dancing yesterday and if I would have known that he is this handsome then I surely would had no problem yesterday in giving them their bills or talking to them . Ohh my god he is so charming..😶😶"...

He then directly went towards the cash counter a bit hesitated as he recalled that Sara was the girl who came to give them their bill yesterday and they were dancing and behaving like idiots infront of her,,and started asking ," Hey miss, I wanted to inquire about a girl who was cashier yesterday at around 8:00 pm"

"Sorry sir but we have three girls doing the work of cashier in night't shift so I am not sure about which girl you are asking"said the girl.." Alright , thanks alot for your help", said Mendes in a disappointed tone and was about to turn and leave when he suddenly stopped at the enterance, kept his left hand on the gate , closed his eyes and tried recalling any clues about her name for the last time..

As he slightly opened his eyes and peeked , he saw a small girl licking her candy and seeing him with facinating eyes. She was a cute girl which made Mendes smirk and he made his eyes narrow and raised his eyebrows twice and thrice in a asking gesture. The kid's mother saw an unknown person interacting with her daughter which made her call her daughter back," Hailey , my girl come back to mumma"... "What the hell is he doing with my daughter" she thought to herself .." Yes , thats it . That girl , her name was Hailey .. on her badge it was Hailey ...yes thats it Hailey " , screamed Mendes in a low tone within himself and was so overwhelmed that the child's mother named her Hailey , he was about to run toward the kid's mother to hug her which made her scream and she picked her daughter like anything and ran as fast as she could 😲😲😱😱which brought Mendes back to his senses.." Damn me, what the hell is happening with me" ...

He ran towards the cash counter in an enthusiastic and excited manner and said in a bold voice" Miss , I know her name was Hailey, yes it- it was Hailey.. Now please give me the information about her , her phone number , address , anything which you guys have " ...

" Sorry sir but we cannot give any information about our staffs to any unknown reasons and furthur we have least information about Hailey because she hardly interacts with us and does not share any of her personal information with us"said the cashier ..She was amused that why a guy handsome like this wants to know about Hailey" Why isn't he asking about me😢"thought the cashire ....

"Sir , if you need any help I can help you with that . Why asking for Hailey?"said the cashier in flirtaious tone which made Mendes smirk and he said in a flirting tone as well " Sorry sweetheart but my work cannot be fulfilled with you " 😜😎

" See you next time beautiful " said Mendes in a bold voice which made the cashier girl blush hard ," oh my god , he said me beautiful ... oh-oh - yess god.. Today was surely a lucky day for me" 😇😇😶😶....
