I woke up to the sound of Mademoiselle Maria banging on my door, the woman would never know the power of her fists. I groaned " I'm awake Mademoiselle!! I'm awake you can stop trying to break the door with those fists of yours"

Maria gasped " Where are your manners young lady , get up and ready, it's going to be your first day in Elemental Academy it's the most prestigious school Luna your lucky you have a brain up there I know many noble kids that are dying to to get accepted " I rolled my eyes, Maria and the lectures she gives for me using my head at selfish times will never end. So what if I don't want to explain photosynthesis to a 10 year old I don't have the energy to waste..... well of course I do have energy to waste but I'm quite happy using that energy to get my selfish needs which would include food clothes books and of course me acing the entrance exams to elemental academy and scoring the highest, yes I'm bragging but why shouldn't I after all as one says' confidence is the key to success' or maybe I just say that but anyways who cares as long as it's right.

I shucked my clothes and dumped myself in the bath , scrubbing my moon white skin still it streaked pink I massage my scalp and brushed the tangles out of my Jet black wavy hair I cleaned out the dirt from my gray eyes which were sprinkled with silvers spots looking as if they were stars and brushed my teeth and wrapped myself In a towel.

I took out my uniform from my wardrobe I hate to admit it but the uniform was killer white shirt black blazer with golden cuffs and buttons, black skirt, black tie and knee high socks with the initial 'EA' written on the side in small elegant calligraphy. I took out the black block heeled pumps girls were required to wear, they also had a golden base that screamed 'EXPENSIVE'. I quickly changed into my uniform which fit like a glove it was perfectly form fitting slightly tight on my tiny waist and my curvy hips. I was impressed I felt good in it , I quickly dried my hair near tye fire and quickly put some mascara on my lashes and smeared light red gloss on my slightly plump lips, I quickly looked checked myself in the mirror and packed my belongings I could finally say goodbye to this orphanage though memories here weren't bad I know l'd long for Mademoiselle Maria's stories and I'd miss tye little ones but I wanted to make something of myself and become someone strong so I could help them, tears welled up in my eyes I thought I'd be ready I'd thought I'd have in together guess I was wrong and the tears were going to be a bitch and ruin my mascara, I quickly blinked them away and held onto my necklace a full moon with one side white and tye other dark in the middle the word 'Amaris' was written in silver I didn't know what it meant it was with me when I was found a 10 year old abandoned outside the gates of an orphanage with no memory of her parents or anything about her past. I'd hid the necklace for their was a voice sweet as a lullaby which whispered to me

Never to show my necklace to a soul for " The Moon would harm and The sun would loose it's Charm , The skies would Rage and tye earth would be a Cage " the words still gave me goosebumps, who tye person was and what and why they kept repeating those words were still a mystery to me . I hid my necklace under my shirt, picked my luggage and headed downstairs. The carriage was waiting for me I gave the kids a hugs and kisses and promised them a visit Mademoiselle Maria kissed my cheek and I hugged her tightly inhaling her scent of chocolate and vanilla cakes and putting them in my memory she looked at me with eyes light with pride " Soar Luna, soar for you were meant for more" she gently whispered to me, I gave hera smile, nodding I sat inside the carriage and I took of if for the academy.

"M'Lady" someone said " M'Lady we have arrived" with effort i blinked open my eyes wondering in which universe I was in I looked outside and my mouth dropped a mansion.. no a castle lay in front of my my eyes beige walls and bricks and golden tips in was A SIGHT "Wow" I said " Can't believe I'm going to study here " I said to myself.

I got out of the carriage a lady in a dark blue dress and maroon pointy heels sashayed her way to me, her chestnut hair were tied up in a perfect bun and she had soft features a small nose small cherry lips and big emerald green eyes. "Good morning Miss Luna my name is Isabella Rose you may call me miss Isabella .it's nice to finally meet you" "Pleasure "I replied.

"today I'll be giving you a tour of the school and after the bell rings you may proceed to your classes I will provide you with your schedule and I'll give you tips on what to do and what not to do in each class don't worry it's quite fun here if you know how to stay at the good side of your professors" she winked and gave me a smirk, I liked her already.

Miss Isabella was quick on her feet, no idea how with those heels but she was, she guided me to my first class and bide good luck I entered the class to find Professor Leo sitting on his chair with his feet perched up on his desk " Welcome you must be tye new admition Luna it's nice to meet you" " Yes it's nice to meet you too Professor "

" Do you have an element yet ?"

"No"

" Well that's okay many in the academy have yet to awkaen theirs as well well so take a seat class is about to start "

I found an empty seat and sat on it, I could feel eyes on me.

Elements I thought everyone in Apocalypse has an element some awaken it at a young age some at a older age, Maria has the element of fire, I was always awed at the way she used it to lit up fireworks and bake us delicious cakes ,

Now I knew my rival Helios Aiden I could already tell that this dude was the star student and I was going to beat him, did I mention I had a very competitive streak?

Gabriel a boy with dark brown hair and green eyes woke up with a start" I'm awake I'm awake, I swear I didn't sleep a wink" sitting next to him a girl with auburn red hair and ocean eyes shook, trying to control her laughter she whispered something in his ear and he said " Ah yes the children of the moon, sooo long story short while Selene the former Moon holder responsible for the moon was consumed by anonymous black magic while she rose the moon all previous Moon holders also dispaeared , to date none know what happened investigation is still in process , some say she was consumed by the night sky"

Alright class that's all for today make sure to read through what we've studied I'm going to take a quiz next class " the class groaned, well who liked giving tests ? Except for me of course I'm an exceptional case , I gathered my stuff and headed for PE.

"Hi your Luna right ? " The girl with red hair sitting next to Gabriel said " My name's Ariel, " she brought up her hand and I shook it , hmm firm handshake, nice,

" Ah professor Leo told me to give these notes to you so you can catch up with us " she gave me a pile of papers " Thanks "

" oh sure I was looking for someone I could ask to show me where we're supposed to go cause miss Isabella didn't have enough time to show me every nook and cranny" I said

" Miss Isabella is always busy, you could say she's the reason why this schools actually on its feet and successful, she's THE boss " Ariel said as she gabbed some of the notes from me " Heck yeah she is, I don't think I could walk in those heels forget about running"
