I began to think to myself that one day, maybe when the moon is full or the sun shines brightly that I may be revealed. My ***** body would scorn before me and my people of Corte lands would turn against me.

My hand wanders around his sleeping warm open skin, as I sit upright on the sinful red velvet quilted bedspread as the coldness before dawn approaches.

He captured my sinful soul in his anointed chamber, it was blessed by one of the church's benevolent high priests. It felt like it was sin in heaven, his gentle hand lazing on my carved in spine only to expose the pores of my skin.

In his crack voice, he asks, " What is the matter, my love?" In my mind, there was so much to tell but I did not want to break the moments we kept sharing.

I did not want him to know that in my head there were rough thoughts about him becoming King and marrying a more beautiful woman to make her his queen. If it was to remain a dream, let me not awaken, for my bad habits felt like love.

Amid the moment, before I could respond with a lie, we heard a soft squeaking footstep.

He moves his body upward to my baring skin in an alert position. Even though we were locked in his chamber he felt threatened. Louis had his guard sent out before I came to him, he had made it clear to him that he should not return until the next sun rises. Louis had his chamber secluded away in the palace where not even a royal would come looking for him.

If he was needed in the main headquarters, our King would send his royal guard to fetch him. Louis specifically requested this chamber for peace of mind and because he was next in line for the throne the request was granted by our king.

Louis moves swiftly off the bed, he quickly got dressed in his trouser and walk towards the chamber's thick wooden vanished entrance door to his room. He could not open it, one wrong move and our secret could be revealed to the royal court.

There was a soft knock, he then turns to me with a mysterious surprise look on his face as I sit on his bed. A voice of a royal guard called out, "Sir Louis your presence is requested by his royal King James in his quarter."

It was very late for our king to call a meeting, and Louis did not want to open his chamber doors, instead, he responded politely, "Go ahead, I will be there in a few minutes."

The guard stamps his royal staff, " Yes your highness."

Knowing king James sent his main guard, only meant one thing that it was more urgent than we knew.

The signal of the royal staff was a sign that there was some important news from prince Richard.

Louis moves back towards my side, his body then came over mines as he reaches out for his tunic piece.

It was a bitter strange moment that Louis could not stay longer with me, "Should I return to my quarters and let you be?"

"I'm afraid I won't be back anytime soon." he nods, " You should get some rest and in the morning at brunch, I'll let you know."

After hearing his words I quickly got dressed, he kisses me on my forehead before leaving but I wanted more.

I could not help but wonder why Louis was summoned by King James. As I lay on my bed my head was filled with so many thoughts, my mind strayed making it difficult to rest.

Back at king quarter Louis, Johnathan and the royal guard stood waiting for the king's presence. There were only worries in the air as king James was in his chamber discussing further details with his son Richard's right-hand man.
