chapter 1
a woman was taken to the OTP for her delivery as it's the time for a baby to come in this world.
her husband was waiting outside of the OTP, who is already a father of four daughters. And hoping for a baby boy.
He and his wife prayed a lot for a boy. they belongs to a middle class family and could not afford to take the responsibility of one more girl.
they have done many activities that were taught in their religion to have a babyboy.
but GOD wants something else.
God knows everything better than everyone. he knows everyone's future and only he can change someone's future if he want. and had planned everything for everyone.
sometimes he is testing us and wants to know what we deserve.
after sometime the lady doctor came out and congrats her husband and informed him that the baby is a babygirl and left from there.
he is not happy at all and is shocked that how can god be this much cruel, they have done everything for a boy, they prayed alot.
he sat on the bench near him and started crying, he don't know what to do now. he can't afford the baby's responsibility.
when the lady doctor came back, she saw that the man is not happy at all. so, she asked him what happen.

What happen Mr. Ford? is there any problem?

*looked up and wiped his tears*
umm.. nothing doctor.

Dr. actually i am middle class family man and cannot afford to raise another girl. i already have four daughters. and don't know what to do now

my mother forced us to have another baby and told us to do our religion activities to have a babyboy, my father said if we do those thing we'll surely have a babyboy.

in my family only me and my father are males. my parents always want a grandson and now i don't know what to do, if they get to know that it's a girl. they will surely not accept the baby.

they always taunt my wife. She always sacrifice everything for me. she never let me go against my parents.

mrs ford is holding her daughter in her arms, she is happy but sad at the same time. she is afraid that how she will face her husband's family.
then Mr ford and the doctor enter in the room.

*he took the baby in his arms*
*look at her lovingly*.
meanwhile the doctor check her and give her prescription. And left from there giving them some spece.
they both forgot the baby issue and were playing with the babygirl, then suddenly Mr Ford had a call.

*pick up the call*

how is my babyboy? when will you two return?
Mr. Ford
mom... it's a babygirl 😢
Mr Ford's mom
WHAT?...what are you saying?..have you checked it clearly?

yes mom😢 it's really a babygirl.
Mr Ford's mom
may be they have exchanged our boy with a girl?... check again okay. I'm not feeling well otherwise I'll come and check it by myself

after discharging his wife from hospital, he took her and the baby to home where his mother was waiting not for him but for the babyboy.

i don't want another granddaughter...you already have four daughters...YOU TWO DIDN'T DO THE PRAYERS IN A CORRECT WAY...I KNOW ..... BECAUSE OF YOU TWO , NOW WE HAVE TO SUFFER MORE. WE'RE ALREADY POOR. AND NOW WHO WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS GIRL?.

Mr and Mrs ford didn't do anything for days and ignore his mother's words. they were happy with their newbormbaby. Their daughters were also happy that they have a new lil sister.
after some weeks, his mother also agree with them. and agreed to keep this girl with them.
note:- his father went to hometown for some work.
Mr Ford is normal man who works as a labour on a construction site.
one day, an earthquake happened with a magnitude 8.6, which destroyed many buildings and areas.
at that time Mr ford also working with other workers and because of the Earthquake, almost all the person who were working died.
many people died in that disaster. after hearing such news his wife couldn't take this. He was her whole world. She couldn't able to believe such news and went into depression.
after Mr Ford's death, his wife was not mentally stable, so his parents have to take care of all the 5 daughter in which they were not happy at all. for them it's like a burden to take care of all the daughters. they don't have much money to give education to all four of them, so they stop sending 2 daughters to school. The two elder daughters were going to school only.
