Hello .. Myself Min-ae-ra beauty, well that’s what at least I think. I’m adult now and have a fair medium skin tone with a thick body, my smile is something what people admires the most. I’ve bubbly kind of personality.

I’m short tempered but kind from heart. I’m someone with sharp tongue and also who can’t tolerate baddie.

I’ve outgoing personality and people calls me lazy when it comes to dressing myself or putting some efforts in makeup but that’s not true, it’s just I’m too beautiful that I don’t need anything.

Suddenly a huge voice coming towards me and that’s none other than my mom. I think she’ll take my *** out today. Oh no she’s here . Speaking of the devil and devil comes, isn’t this phrase so good. Oh told you my tongue is sharp .

“Min-ae-ra are you coming out of your shell or should I use my ways?” My mother said while shouting on me.

“Ahh!! I’m coming mom” I said.

I’m already late for my school it’s all because of my sleepy head. Anyways let me take a quick bath first.

Here we go a little shampoo and my hairs are done. Hushhh!! no more talking. Let me change into my clean uniform. Time to do comb. Should I do braids? That’s the fastest thing I can do. See I'm not lazy right?

Oh where are my Spectacles....I almost forgot to wear it. Oh it’s on my table. Let me wear it first. Oh yeah I can see the world now.

Author’s POV

She started running towards the dinning table and fetch a piece of bread and started chewing it and suddenly someone knocked the door, An 18 year old boy shouted calling Min-ae-ra and told her to open the door

" Wait for me let me open it for you." She runs to door with the bread in hand. Bread crumbs are all over her mouth and uniform.

She opens the door and a wide foolish lovesick smile appears on her face.

Min-ae-ra's POV

I was out of my mind when I saw him in front of me . he’s as charming as no one. I’m really into his chiseled jawline and wide shoulders.

He’s a man with perfections. He’s my childhood crush, my handsome classmate and my sweet neighbour as well. Oh I forgot to tell his name. His name is Kim-ji-hoon.

I was so whipped that I couldn’t stop myself from looking at him until he tapped me on my head.

" Silly girl! Are you eating bread or bread is eating you." He laughed slightly and gently cleaned my mouth with his fingers.

What to do with this man? He jerks off all the bread crumbs on my shoulders and collar bone. My heart is beating so fast that I'm afraid it’ll surely pop out.

“You always care for me ..you are such a goodie.”

“C’mon aren’t we friends. That’s normal right?” he giggled and said.

Sometimes I think your crush coming so close and then putting a tag of 'just friends' should be illegal.

" Hey let’s go Min-ae-ra!! We need to hurry. Aunty will meet you after school." says Kim-ji-hoon.

He soon holds my hand and we started running. I can feel his hands but he can’t as he sees me as if I’m his best friend huh!!*sigh* I’m always afraid to confess him because I think I might loose my friendship too. I’m enjoying every moment like this. His is a safe place for me.

Author’s Pov

Min-ae-ra starts talking with him about the results as it’s the result day.

"What do you think? Will I pass my exams ?" Min-ae-ra approaches to talk.

"Definitely yes! Do you even doubt on my tutoring skills?" confidently says Kim-ji-hoon

‘Oh yes! how can I forget your help! You almost dug a hole in my head thumping on it" rubs her head and glares at Kim-ji-hoon

“because you always doze off. I'm teaching and you keep wandering in another world." says Kim-ji-hoon and again dabs on her head

"because you looked like an idol drama ML." Lost herself.

" What did you say?" Asks as if he is confused

" I mean that that sharp tongue ML who always disses poor FL." Acting pitiful.

" It's because you are also stupid as those FL."

Seeing Kim-ji-hoon laughing, a little sweet smile appears on Min-ae-ra’s face. She is happy having him by her side but she wishes for more.

" Anyways thanks for your help. I'll treat you a meal." Says Min-ae-ra.

" No need! Treat me for good result. As for help." Kim-ji-hoon puts her hand around her neck and leans on her, aren't we friends? I can't accept the treat for helping my bestie."

" Accept as my boyfriend then." Min-ae-ra whispered

“Huhh? What are you rambling?” Kim-ji-hoon asked confusingly.

" nothing! Just accept my gratefulness." Min-ae-ra pushes him away and sounds irritated.

" When could I escape this friends zone." Thinks Min-ae-ra and walks fast.

Kim-ji-hoon is confused as f*ck. But it's not first time when he is experiencing Min-ae-ra's sudden change of mood. He runs after her.

Author’s Pov

They both arrived at the gate and stopped for a moment as when they saw the huge crowd covered the whole board (where usually all the exam related news comes) They started walking towards the crowd and successfully made way to reach the board.

"oh Kim-ji-hoon I found your name it’s on 2.That means you’re a second ranker. Omg party hard!! Let’s go to our class now! I’m so happy for you" Min-ae-ra said excitedly.

Min-ae-ra’s pov

One girl started talking about me telling that I got first this time. I was shocked because no-one can ever take place of Kim-ji-hoon and this time I got first. Kim-ji-hoon looked happy about it .

"Oh!! see Min-ae-ra you got first. You have to give me party now" Kim-ji-hoon said in his deep and happy voice

Min-ae-ra’s pov

It was the first time I wasn’t happy about it. I wanted Kim-ji-hoon to come first instead of me as he even gave me special tuitions. How could he not be envious about it?

"Hey Min-ae-ra answer me you will give me party right?" Said Kim-ji-hoon

"Ofcourse I’ll" in a sad voice says Min-ae-ra

"I’m especially happy this time as I get to see my student’s good result." Kim-ji-hoon speaks to Min-ae-ra.

Bell rings. Tring Tring …..

We started running towards the class and suddenly my leg slipped....

my leg slipped... and Kim-ji-hoon holds me successfully. I felt butterflies in my stomach and thought my one-sided love is not less than any Kdrama.

“Are you alright? Can’t you just run carefully ? Umm I mean Can you not rush? See class is here. What’s the point of rushing? How careless you are?” started nagging.

“If you gonna keep scolding me like this then our classmates might mistake us as a couple” said Min-ae-ra

“Well I don’t care about them” said Kim-ji-hoon.

“If you will keep telling me this then I won’t come to my senses.” Min-ae-ra speaks by herself

They went to the class and started attending lectures.

Bell rings. Tring Tring…it’s recess time

“Let’s go to canteen” said Min-ae-ra to Kim-ji-hoon.

“Alright then” said Kim-ji-hoon

Min-ae-ra's POV

We are at the canteen. The best of our school is it's canteen. No teachers no nagging only fun and food. I'm sitting on the table and waiting for Kim-ji-hoon. Kim-ji-hoon is always the one bringing food for me. Such a gentleman how can one not be head to toe for him. Here I'm smiling foolishly and staring at Kim-ji-hoon who went to bring food. Even that canteen lady Mrs. rosy adores him.

Such a beautiful moment and here comes this guy to ruin it. Suddenly the smile disappears from my face and I start cringing over something.

Lee Hyun-woo who was my one grade senior. Actually he was two years senior but this bird head guy failed last year.

 I guess next year he will be my classmate instead of my senior. He is walking towards me.

He sat next to me. I hate his presence. He has been trying to court me since first year of High school. It's been a year. I don't even look at him but still he just goes on his way.

He Is staring at me with that foolish smile on his face.

I turn to him and smiling at him awkwardly which seems forceful.

" Are you here to eat?" Stupid question comes from a foolish mouth.

"Nope I'm here to propose you" He stood up and said " I Love You"

 I wasn't surprised by his confession .

Kim-ji-hoon came with our food in his hands. He heard Lee Hyun-woo's confession but ignored it. Kim-ji-hoon said "Let's eat Min-ae-ra" I took the plate from Kim-ji-hoon's hands.

"Move aside" I said to Lee Hyun-woo fiercely as he was blocking my seat.

 "I want you to answer me right now in front of everyone" said Lee Hyun-woo.

I said "I don’t like you".

 "Then love me." He said in a teasing way .

I said " You are crossing the line just get lost".

 Kim-ji-hoon said to Lee Hyun-woo “She doesn’t like you now you better leave”.

 “Oh!! I see so you are her boyfriend.”

 Kim-ji-hoon replied him “No, We are best friends.”

 Right after him Lee Hyun-woo again said  “You both are just wearing the masks of best friends. This relationship is full of impurities.”

 After hearing this Kim-ji-hoon bring his hands to punch him .I stopped him and said “ Enough let’s just ignore this guy.”

 Lee Hyun-woo started poking him and said “and you !!yes you !!” Pointing his finger towards Kim-ji-hoon and said “what a big bastard you are!! you keep using her like a chewing gum ,just chewing it and throwing it away so that is how you use the tag of ‘best friends' till now right?”

I couldn’t control it and slapped him on his face. That time I was holding phone as well as plate. Right after I slapped him he throws my plate along with the phone.My phone destroyed completely.

seeing this kim-ji-hoon couldn't control himself and threatened him.

“You’ll go out or should I throw you out?” Kim-ji-hoon angrily said.

That guy pulled Kim-ji-hoon’s collar and said "Don't dare to come in between otherwise you'll be in danger soon". Kim-ji-hoon jerked that guy’s hands from his collar and said " Try my strength then”.

Before they go crazy I shouted loudly "Can you both stop making fuss here?”

Lee Hyun-woo made a strong eye contact with Kim-ji-hoon as If he might kill him today.

"I'll see your strength after the school.” Lee Hyun-woo said in a very competitive tone.

“For god sake, please Lee Hyun-woo just leave.” I said in trembling voice.

He kicked the table aggressively and left the canteen.

Everyone present there were looking at us suspiciously.

Suddenly bell rings …Tring tring..

“Oh no we need to rush for the class” I said. Suddenly Kim-ji-hoon holds my hand and we started running …

“Wait where are we going ? Aren’t we going to the class now ?” I asked. He suddenly stopped at the gate and said “wait here for a minute” he went back to the class and came back with our bags in his hands.

He was running towards me and grabbed my hand “ let’s go”.

 I asked “ Then what about classes”.

He said “c’mon you are topper that doesn’t mean you are sincere” he giggles.

 We were running and suddenly rain drops came and it started raining heavily.

Min-ae-ra’s pov

Kim-ji-hoon takes off his school jacket .I can see his muscular body as his white plain shirt gets wet and his six packs were all visible …he covered our head with his jacket .I was peeping those packs closely and he tapped my head.

“That’s what usually perverts do” he mockingly said.

“wait I’m not pervert.”

 “Then what were u looking huh?” he asked.

 “ Actually I was thinking that you are all wet now” 

“So should I take off my shirt too” he started laughing.

 I just softly beat him. “We are all wet shall we run now” He told .

He held the jacket and covered our heads then we started running.

 That moment was so romantic. The water splashing because of our steps. The smell from the soil , the dancing rain drops everything seemed to be romantic.

We were so close to each other and I couldn’t stop looking at him. I decided to confess him on the spot.

“Hey let’s stop here” I said. My heart was pounding loudly.

“ what’s the matter?” He asked.

we were standing in the middle of the road , everything was silent. Then I said....

“Kim-ji-hoon l wanted to tell you something from so long”

 “what is it?” Kim-ji-hoon asked

“Just let me finish it first”

 “okay say what”

“Actually mmm…actually I l…..” Suddenly a speedy car was coming towards me and Kim-ji-hoon pulled my hand towards him and I fell on him. My lips and his lips were having 0.01 distance.

My lips and his lips were having 0.01 distance but he started scolding me.

Author’s pov

Both are laid on the road and started talking like that.

“In the middle of the road you wanted to tell something important. Do you know nothing is important than that of your life. What if something have happened to you? where will I go then” he shouted on me.

 “c’mon I wouldn’t be dead”

he kept his finger on my lips and said “You silly girl better shut your mouth and I think you’re enjoying laying down on my body like this.”

“Oh I forgot” I stood up from him. We both were awkwardly looking at each other and suddenly rain gets slow.

“Oh see now we don’t need jacket I guess” I said.

“ Yeah let’s walk to home it’s already late “

Author’s pov

It was evening time and they both almost reach their home.

“Oh see we are home” I said.

 “Then see you tomorrow sleep well” he said with a charming smile.

I was going towards the door and he stopped me . “Min-ae-ra !! Take care” he sounded like a protective boyfriend.

I entered the home and I see my parents were standing in front of me.

 The silence was killing me. I thought this is the end of the world. I took a deep breath and said “I’m home” with a fake smile.

“Yeah we see you are home now” My mom said in her angry voice as if she is about to kill me.

Suddenly a nonsense question comes out from my mouth “Is everything alright?”

 my father asked me “ where did u go?”

“uhh…..in school dad.”

 I said with hesitation as I knew that it was lie.

 My mother grabbed my hand and took me inside and said. “I called your class teacher today.”

 I started shivering and couldn’t dare to speak in front of them.

My dad said “your class teacher was telling that you weren’t in the class after the recess and even said that Kim-ji-hoon wasn’t there too.”

Min-ae-ra’s pov

If I will tell that Kim-ji-hoon was the one who took me out then they will stop me from meeting him. Should I take the blame? Yes being a one sided lover I should do something otherwise my love will end here. No, Min-ae-ra what are you thinking let’s be positive. All the best to myself. Please god save me this time just this time….I won’t ever ask you anything…well will see that in future.. right now please help me… 

“Ahem Ahem” my little brother clearing his throat intentionally as if he’s trying to  give me some signs.

 “Will you speak now or you’re thinking of how to make us fool ” my mom said in a taunting way.

 “eommaaa!! I visited library today”

 “and for what?”

 “Ah actually I took the books for rent as for the exam use so now the exams are over I have to keep it back as a responsible student.”

 Min-ae-ra’s POV

I think this much spice will work. If I’ll add more then they will think I’m faking.

“Ok we believe you” dad said. I was sad after hearing that he believes me.

“So your dad got a call from his childhood friend” suddenly mom said.

“Ohh that uncle who is the CEO in Cz company , dad told once” 

“Yes and now he’s in need of manager and your dad is well qualified in this as you know.”

“Yes and?” 

“and he’s living in Incheon.”

 “So?” I asked.

 “ So we have to go there.” Mom said in a very exciting voice.

“But eomma I don’t want to go. See my school is here and I’m very comfortable with the environment.”

In a very sweet voice my father said, “but I know my daughter. She’s outgoing . She’s the one who mixes well with everyone.”

 “Daddy!!! Can you stop adding butter?”

 “I’m not going anywhere” sniffed. I ran towards my room and locked the door.

Author’s pov

Min-ae-ra was weeping and crying with the door locked. Her nose became red and she started recalling of each and every memory which she have spend with Kim-ji-hoon.

Knock knock…..

“Open the door Min-ae-ra” said her mom.

“Please I want to be alone right now.”

Her mom said “open the door I’m here to give you one more news”

 “What’s it we are not going?”

 “open the door first!!”

Author’s pov

She walks towards the door and opens it. She has a smile on her face as she was thinking they might have changed the plans.

Sees the tickets in her mom’s hands.

“What’s this mom? I’m not going anywhere. Do whatever but I’m not  moving from my place. If you want to go then go but you can’t force me to come with y’all.”

“You must pack your bags we are leaving tomorrow and we are not asking from you. We are ordering you and that’s final!”

“Okay! if you’re stubborn then don’t forget that I’m your daughter too.”

“So what will you do?”

“eomma can’t I just stay at my friend’s house?” I started giving her excuses for not going.

“Stop making fuss now, we’ve already took your admission in new school at Incheon.”

“Still I won’t go!!” I said aggressively.

She said “you have to come with us and that’s final.”

I was wondering why we get such time when we want to say no but our luck doesn’t favour.

She shut the door forcefully.

Once she goes out my tears couldn’t stopped. My cheeks were all wet and I could only think of the time which is left to see Kim-ji-hoon and it was not even enough for me to tell him how much I loved him for past 8 years. I decided to write a letter. The letter of confession. The letter which will tell him how much I was yearning for his love.

I bravely took the pen in my hand and started writing my letter.

Author’s pov

She wrote her letter and started memorizing all the memories of them. Sun rays comes out from the window and appears on min-ae-ra’s face and she woke up.

Rubbing her eyes and wearing her glasses “oh so I slept after crying and I don’t even remember when did I sleep”

takes a deep sigh and said “oh so the day came”

 checks the time “oh it’s 7 now!! I need to go to school” takes the letter from the table and wears her jacket and starts running..

“This is the last chance I have to tell him how much I love him.”

Reach at the gate and sees there are only few students roaming there. She straight away goes to the class.

“Oh there’s no one here oh yeah ofcourse I’m 1 hour early” checks her class and her bench.

Touches kim-ji-hoon’s bench “well I’m meeting you last time” as if she’s telling to kim-ji-hoon..

she walks towards the locker and opens kim-ji-hoon’s locker. She takes out letter from the pocket and keeps it into his locker. “Hope you see my letter.” Says by herself.
