Olivia, what are you doing? You are gonna be late for today’s blind date!” Elkie exclaimed with a bit of irritation in her tone.

“I am absolutely ready. I just need to find my bowtie. This blouse looks abit out of place without one, for me,” answered Olivia hurriedly.

“That’s why i told you to organize your room, so you can find your things easily,” Elkie continues.

“I could find my bowtie just a moment ago. It is my brain that always fail to remember where i put it after i held it, or unconsious of where i put it,” Olivia answered fast.

“I can’t comprehend that habits of yours. And you are as stubborn as always, Olivia.”

“Sorry, Elkie. But i don’t think i am up for your lecture now.”

“You could forget the bowtie, let’s go out now! This is only your first blind date. You could look for another one in the future, if your partner didn’t think too good about you, especially if they are only looking for your appearance. Forget them,” Elkie starts lecturing.

Oh my, she starts lecturing mode now, that’s what Olivia thought. To her, being perfectionist is just her identity. It often bothered her. But it also help her getting good achievement, such as her freelance. She gets high and good reviews merely because she worked hard to perfect every orders come to her, as a digital artists and illustrator. She takes pride in herself.

“OH! I find the bowtie! Thank God🥲. Look Elkie! This bowtie is like it's made for my attire today."

Today, especially, Olivia wears a plain blue rayon blouse, with a wide v collar shaped, and a white cotton pants. She completed the looks with a cute white bowtie, and her favorite black tote bag.

"Okay, get going bestie!" ELkie said excitedly.

The two woman arrives in the heart of the city called Union Cafe in Central of Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. After sending text messenges  and phone calls with their blind date partners, they finally meet up at the middle seat. Two man are already booking and waiting them nervously.

The two man are called Jason and Alex. Both of them are said to be a newly startup bussinessman. It's Elkie's and Olivia's turn to introduce themselves.

" Oh so you are 'Marry Lestari" the infamous romance novelist of 'Finding Daisy in Sydney'? Wow, i also love your fiction novel called 'Allyssa The Fairy Godmother' or your historical one called 'War of Majapahit'. All of your works are masterpiece! I can feel that you put your feelings into your work, because the sentence is so beautifully written, with deep meanings. Oh did I said that i am your fan? May i take an autograph?" Said Alex exitedly.

"Thank you Alex. Here, i am ready for an autograph."

"And Olivia here said that you are an illustrator right?" Jason ask.

"Oh yes, her drawing is amazing. My novel covers and illustration are also drawn by her. Flawless don't you think? She is a pro." Elkie answered quickly.

"Come on, be more excited girl, why am I the one who keeps introducing you?" Elkie whispers to Olivia.

"Thank you my bestfriend Elkie. I am a freelance illustrator. I illustrate books' cover, children story books, and webcomic too. Did you read a fantasy webcomic called 'Trapped in Aldabra'? Sometimes i also accept graphic design request, just in case you want to promote your works. Here is my bussiness card."

"Oh.. sorry, i am not into webcomic so I don't really know. And i am not too familiar with the illustration work. I will see in the future if i need your help with my bussiness ads." Jason answers slowly, and Alex nods in agreement.

"That's Okay... may I ask you guys some question?" Olivia start conversing herself.

"Go ahead." Jason and Alex

"What are your future life goals and planned? What type of partner are you searching for? And what about marriage aspirations?"

Elkie step on Olivia's feet and whispers "No one ask marriage in their first meet up sis. Calm down. We need more small talk before we get into the serious ones."

"We had enough, 1 hour of small talk is enough. And our conversation doesn't lead anywhere, are they even serious about this blind date? Or maybe they only looking for some fun?" Olivia said frustatedly.

"You said you didn't want to go to a blind date, why are you so enthusiastic now?"

"Because a certain someone forces me to, with reasoning of me being in late 27 year old, and no boyfriend or husband candidate. And since i am here, i should do it right." Olivia whispers back.

"Oh my goodness... this is why you are not getting any crushes, nor friend."

"So, i am asking to see if our future goals and aspiration match." Olivia continues to Jason and Alex. Both of them answer nervously.

"I am planning to develop my bussiness more. And search for a good wives who can cooks well, organized, and have a motherly nature, and  can accompany me in my ups and downs." Alex said

"I also want to expand my bussiness first. We are both bussiness partners. So our goals align. I entered this blind date app in search of a good girlfriend who will understand my dreams and support me." Jason added.

"That actually sounds vague. Alright in other words, you two are not really searching for marriage partner at the moment. And oyr goals doesn't align... my bad we are not suitable then." Olivia firmly said.

"Whoa, she just gets into conflict with her last client, so she is a bit sensitive. Please don't mind her harsh words." Elkie tried to defend her best friends behaviour.

"Ah.. it is alright. We can just be acquintance right?" Jason tried to break the icy moments.

In Olivia's peespective, they like to chat over only trivial things which is unecessary, and Olivia values time so much, the two guy also have the vibe of those unresponsible guys who just go for a one night fling for fun.

Suddenly Olivia stands up and said, "Sorry, I am going now. I have to meet a client ASAP. Thank you for your companion."

Jason ask, "Can't you wait until our desserts coming? I just ordered them especially for yoy too."

"Olivia... we will just spend times 30 more minutes... okay?" Elkie try to persuade her.

"No. This is actually an important meeting. I gotta go. You can eat my portion, Elkie. It is alright."

"But..."

"Goodbye guys. I am going first then Ellkie."

Olivia thanked her client, Andrew for contacting her at the right moment. She arrives at a bar 50 fts away from Union Cafe.

"Nice to meet you Olivia, this is my friend Kenth. He is a profesional Software Developer and also a freelancer." Andrew introduces Kenth.

"Hello Olivia, nice to meet you. Andrew told me alot about you," Kenth said.

"Hello Kenth, nice to meet you too. I was searching for a dependable software developer to start my dropservicing career. Thank you Andrew for introducing Kenth to me."

"No problems, Olivia." Andrew answer satisfied.

"I also need some promotion and design for my software. I guese this is a win win situation." Kenth said it while Andrew nod in agreement.

They kept talking about their bussiness until late evening. Kenth ask Olivia to have another appoinment again later. At this point, Olivia didn't know that this encounter would leads to Jakarta destruction.

Bzzzzt Bzzzt, Olivia's phone vibrates continuously.

"Where are you? I can't contact you at all, why is a meeting with a client take so long?"Elkie asks worrying Olivia's wellbeing.

"I am truly sorry Elkie, I will be going to the apartment soon. Let's talk later." Olivia put her phone off.

Meanwhile on a dark underground room in Jakarta. Kenth has a meet up with some suspicious group of men, dressed in a peculiar outfits, too much like a cosplay. A big muscled guy with a Red beard, who wears a hard armor on his chest to belly, and carrying arround a horn knuckle in his finger.

Another one wears a hooded atire. But a slightly blond hair can be seen falling through the hoodie to his knee. This one wears a peculiar necklace with red gemstone.

Another one seems rather old, around his 40s, with a white beard and hair. But contrary to his old face, he has a fit body, he wears a slimfit black cloth that really showed his packs.

Among them is a young who seems more serious compared to his other companions, and wears glasses and a suit. He carries a small suitcase

He then opens up the suitcase and said, "This is your payment. This is just a down payment. With this much, i hope of suitable gratifying result."

"Don't worry, I will be searching for the girl you are looking for quickly. I take pride as a black hat hacker, because of how quick I am in searching people," Kenth said while smiling to the amount of money he just accept.

The big muscled guys then said, "If it was that easy, we won't ask a cripple like you to search her. We have been searching for years, she is clever in hiding her true apperance."

"Yes, and you need to be careful not to exposed any of our interaction to anyone. Never, or your life lost, like this." The blond hoodied man showed how he melted and destroyed the big guy's knuckle with his superpower, without even touching it.

A shiver runs through Kenth's spine. He knew that this bunch of guys are definitely not ordinary people. Heck he never knew he would encounter a group of men with superpowers, ones that he only sees in movies. But it is too late. They find him first, and he is powerless to refuse their request. And he have to complete his mission to keep living. Don't worry Kenth, you just need to finish this goddamn mission, and you will be free from this crazy guys. Kenth tried to calm himself.

The big muscled guy got angry, "Hey you don't have to ruin my weapon. Do you want to die in my hands, pal?" This guys starts punching the wall which makes the whole underground shaking.

"I will compensate for your cheap weapon, Dion. Stop with your antics or you will exposed our hideout." The glasses guy said with a cold tone.

"Now, now, don't you think we can just bury this whole city, and see which one fight us back, she will come and show herself anyway, to save her city. At that momment, we can beats and kidnap her."

"That would be last method, our goal is to kidnap her silently, as efficiently as possible. Our godfather has a plan to use this City too. So destroying it will be to much work to repaired it again." The old guy said in disagreement.

"Silence."The glasses guy scream and the whole room turn quiet.

"Alright.. let's stop. I am generous enough to let you go, Travis." Dion said backing down.

This mark of a calamity for the earth. A group of secret organization might destroy the the order of the world, and a picture of a woman with a smiling blue hair and green eyes was glued to the wall, and have many darts at it. This woman look so familiar, yeah she look much like Elkie. The difference is that she has blue hair and green eyes, unlike Elkie who has a black hair and eyes.

"Olivia, i have an eerie feeling. I should go with you today." Elkie said worryingly.

"I am just meeting with my future bussiness partner."

"Hey, who is that woman in your photo?"Kenth asks Olivia.

"She is my bestfriend." Olivia said with a warm face.

It was Saturday morning. Olivia is in such good mood because today, she finally will meet Kenth, who had agreed for the long awaited bussiness discussion. Today, she decided to bring her ipad in her bag. She opened the door, but a cold and strong wind blew through her rented house door. It made her shivers and a minute after, a heavy rain starts pouring down along with some lighting. Well, even though the weather is not friendly to her, at least this should be her lucky day. Since she wanted to develop her drop servicing app. Not only that, Olivia had dreamt of making an app especially made for fellow artists to sell their art, promote, and teach art too. Basically an app for artist community.  She wanted more advice from Kenth about the software. At least, the thought of having productive days, makes her stay on high spirit.

Suddenly Elkie said,"Wait Olivia! The rain is... heavy you know?"

"Yep, that's why i am using my raincoat" Olivia said unbothered.

"Olivia, i have an eerie feeling. I should go with you today. Remember what i said this morning about the dream I had last night? In my dream you are crying so hard while hugging me.”

"I am just meeting my future bussiness partner, Elkie. And he is a busy man. If not today, i don't know when else. Plus the rain is not that bad. I could order taxi. Oh, rain's smell is not so bad too." Olivia loved rainny days, because rain gives a fresh air, a cold breeze, and also less crowded  places, because people choose to shelter at home. Rain also brings water for whoever needs them, be it human nor other living organism.

"But Olivia, you could get sick." Elkie tried to persuade again.

"That is so sweet of you, but no. This is an important meeting, and being sick gives me more excuse for staying longer on my bedroom."

"Gosh... she really left!" Elkie exclaimed after Olivia left their house.

'I haven't had a bad dream in a very long time. I am afraid this is a bad omen....' Elkie said in her mind and praying that nothing bad happens to her best friend.

"Hello Olivia, thank you for your time and effort to meet up today. I was thinking of pending our meeting. But, since i could meet you again after 2 weeks..."

"Hello Kenth, that is alright. I need your help in a hurry afterall. I am the one who needs more, so i should give more effort."

"Oh. Good point. So... you explain in the email that you needed a software for your dropservicing, and also an art community application. Can you tell me more?"

"Yes, so...."

Both of them begin to discuss seriously about their goals, ideas, exchanging perspective, sometimes a dry jokes. Surprisingly to Kenth, this woman can match his wavelenght. Olivia is open minded, creatives, and has a broad knowledge about anything, from bussiness trend, economics, politics, to art and music. But her main passion in art is what makes her really attractive.

"Well.... this feels more like a blind date... i mean i get to know so much about you, Olivia. And you are a fascinating woman."

"Oh my, you flatter me too much. Thanks Kenth, you are a big help to me. I didn't regret coming here in the middle of the stormy morning afterall."

"Ah... sorry again about that."

"No, no, it is okay. I wanted to flatter you, but it seems like i make a sarcasm huh? Or is it too weird? Am i... being rude?"

"No.. no. You are just honest. You have high integrity and morality. Oh and luckily, it stopped. Can you see that rainbow over there?"

"Thanks Kenth.."

Suddenly Elkie made a phone call via whatsapp. Her profile pics can be seen clearly.

"Sorry, i need to answer this first. Pardon me." Olivia said and hurriedly go to the restroom.

'What? That woman... feels strangely similar to the woman i have been searching for this dangerous mission....' sweats run down his temple and he wait anxiously for Olivia's return.

"What now Elkie? You have chatted me... countless times today."

"I said that i have a bad feeling right? ....." Elkie continued to lecture Olivia worryingly.

"Yeah, let's discuss that later at home, i will go back soon, and i will be careful."

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Kenth."

"Oh, no problem. But who is that girl? A friend of yours?" Kenth asks

"Yes, truly my best friend. Even though she can be annoying, but she is really lovely, and has a heart as bright as the sunrises."

"I think she would look great in blue hair and green eyes." Kenth said.

"Oh, of course she looks great in that."

"WHAT? What do you mean?.... I mean, she must have tried that hairstyle and contact lenses out of trend... haha." Kenth siad stuttering since Olivia look suspiciously at him.

"Umm yeah, she has tried them and she look gorgerous. Actually she would look good in any hair style or lenses, she is a beauty afterall, just like all of her previous styles..." Olivia added.

"Alright... you seem to be proud of her."

"Yeah, you know Kenth. Just like your parent or family... you would love them so much and would protect them at all cost right? To me... she is someone as important as a family. She saves me, she gives my life a meaning after losing hope when my parents died. And when i was depressed and had no friends. I would never exchange her for anything else. Even for my life!" Suddenly Olivia stares Kenth in a serious stare.

Huh? What is that? Why did she... felt like she read my mind. Uh impossible. Well, it could be her or not. I should dig up later.

"I guess it's time for me to leave now. I have other appoinments" Kent said to Olivia.

"Ohokay, take care."

After their meeting, Kenth hurriedly go home, reach his bedroom and pc. Olivia Cahya Rajendra, find it!  Kenth finds Olivia's personal information, as well as her background. Turns out, Olivia becomes an orphan 2 years ago, Nd now works as freelance illustrator and animator. He also finds out about her University. University A huh. Where can i find her best friends info... oh! She is also a college student in A Uni but different faculty...

Kenth is hacking A Uni websites, trying to get Elkie's personal info. This is weird. So her name is Valkyrie Joseph Lestari. She is a mix of Dutch and Indonesian bloodline. But why can't i get any information about this girl? None except for her id card information? No, even her id address is not valid anymore.... her id card is not updated?!

What about her parents.... no records? None at all?!

This girl is suspicious!

Suddenly, it occurs to him, how Olivia said abstractly that this Valkyrie has tried numerous hairstyles and lenses. So he tried searching her face using his face recognition software. No way.... she change her identity so many times. She was in America before. And in Canada before that, and also in Netherland before. All from a voluntary teacher at orphanage, a florist, a hairstylist? A babysitter? And this one... a novelist? Under the name Marry Lestari? What identity is this now. Why is she not getting caught by the government?  And why... doesn't she aged? This is so fishy and creepy.... no... yeah she keeps changing her hairstyle...

The blue hair and green eyes might be one of her disguise.... she must be the one they are searching for.

But.... why? Who is she? And what will happen to Olivia if she gets caught in this mess...? Even though their meeting is short, but Olivia has successfully win Kenth' heart. And he doesn't want Olivia to get hurt. He remembers clearly Olivia's expression when she talk happily about her bestfriend. And how she gets strangely frightening when she intimidated him, she wouldn't stay still if her best friend gets hurt for sure....

I... don't want to hurt her... but how can i save her and myself altogether... What would she feel if she knows that her bestfriend is so suspicipus and hiding her true identity from her?

I... need to confirm this girl first... maybe i could meets Olivia again 2 days later... i should chat...

Brak! Suddenly his ceiling in the livingroom broke. Dion and Travis came into his house.

Luckily for Kenth, he successfully turns of his pc just before they enter his bedroom.

"Why are you nervous? Do you perhaps hide something? " Travis ask suspiciously.

"I always... gets nervous around you guys..." Kenth tried to answer as calm as possible

"Yeah, he is a coward afterall." Dion said mockingly.

"Your time is up, weakling. Kaja is tired of waiting, and that means, we are free to destroy this city. If she really lives here, just as the signals is. She would defend her city." Dion threatening Kenth.

"Well... you could prevent that, by finding her and tell her to us. The deadline is until tomorrow before dusk. Which i bet you would failed anyway." Travis said smiling mischievously.

Shit, here they go again...! I can't imagine what type of apocalypse awaits us tommorrow..... thry have insane supernatural power afteral... I should choose....

This city... or Olivia and her best friend....

Right it should be an obvious choice. Yet his heart felt heavy imagining how he could lost his new crush, Olivia. Suddenly it occured to his mind, what if he cpuld trick Olivia to ditch her friend and goes outside of Jakarta tommorrow. He could just save her and pretend he didn't knew, he could pretend that he wanted to introduce her to a bussiness partner again as well or as a dating excuse. Or whatever...

"I will try...." Kenth could only hope for the best tommorrow.

Dear God, I know I am sinful, i have many sins and a dark past. But, for the sake of humanity and Olivia, please save us tommorrow. If... i could trade humanity and Olivia with just 1 person.... that would be better.

Never would he thought that he would fall so hard for Olivia. He used to just chatted her on whatsapp, for bussiness talk and sometimes trivial things.

This morning meeting, is actually the 2nd time they met. But it already makes him feels like he finds his soulmate, because of how comforting and how he could connect with her.
