It was a noisy night at the house of Tara. Her brother who is staying with her on the same house brought some visitors.

A successful business deal needs a celebration, said Drake, Tara's brother while talking to his friends. Those men agreed with him like his followers in a cult. I should be joining them but none of those men interests me. After a while more of their office mates came including some girls. Their party grew even noisier. I went down to greet the newcomers for I know some of them, it would be impolite on my part if I ignore their arrival.

Girl your so slim, how do you keep this figure of yours?, Vikki asked. Vikki is the girlfriend of Drake. She's a sweet girl. I like her. Her style is so classy and she has a direction, quite a dreamer just like my brother Drake.

Back home, the next day...

My brother is supposed to be working but he is home. I'm so puzzled why. He is drinking vodka, the one remained from the party last night.

Why are you home so early? I curiously asked him.

I quit my job, he answered.

What? I'm confused. He just closed a big deal lately and now he quits.

I said I quit my job. Drake repeated his answer.

Why? You told me, you just closed a big deal. Why would you quit? I asked him again still not understanding his reason.

I asked for a promotion and a cut for that deal but I get nothing. I worked hard on it but since I'm just an employee all the credits went to the son of the CEO, Marcus. It's my idea, I co-presented it with him but I got nothing. He explained with angry red face almost crying.

I pity my brother, he'd been working for that company for 12 years. I didn't imagine he would leave it that easy. He is already in good position, but looks like he wanted more. My brother's ambition is so high. His own dream let him down. I watched him drinking hopelessly. I hugged him lightly to show symphaty. What did Vikki say?

Vikki came after work. She stayed with Drake and try to convince him to go back to work and apologize, which my brother oppose so strictly. I stayed on my room to give the two some privacy. I unknowingly fall asleep. I will get to know what happened when I wake up.

In the morning bottles of vodka and more beers welcomed me. Vikki is not around, my brother is lying on the couch. I didn't dare to wake him up so I decided to just cook breakfast. I fried some eggs and sliced tomatoes on the side. I like sunny side up while my brother prefer scrambled with onions. He smelled the food then went to the table.

What happened last night? I asked him.

I broke up with Vikki, he said lightly.

What the ****? Are you out of your mind. What have you done? That's Vikki bro. I'm so shocked of what he said. I dont know what to say. My mouth just keep on spitting words right now.
