/Chatter then begins to occur in the room. /

“ hm ? “ Na Ae ri then looks at her teacher.

“ could you explain to us why you say that you are a NBSB? “

One of the student then raises her hand,

“ Yes, maam “ – all students

“ ms. Na, you may take your seat beside that young guy over there.”

Na Ae ri then walks towards the seat when all the boys at the back started chattering,

“ so, Ae ri are you looking for a boyfriend? “

“ ofcourse she is! She already sent out an invitation for us when she said she was an ‘NBSB’ “

Then the room went silent..

“ ive been failing my classes back with my old school that’s why I gt transferred here… “

“ that’s clearly a sign! “ a girl then shouts for all the students to hear. The whole class then agrees and chatted about it like they’re in a fish market. When the prettiest girl in the whole school came in, all of them Went silent. Proceeding their gossip while whispering, Ae ri sits beside a guy who is currently talking to his friends about the girl.

The prettiest girl then walked up to Ae ri and greets her beautifully.

“ Hi, I’m Won Iseul “

“ Welcome to the school “ then smiles.

Everyone then sighs of joy as Won iseul smiles.

“ a-ah.. Thanks..” Ae ri then says.

“ Hey! How dare you just say ‘thanks’ “

“Don’t you know you’re talking to the most prettiest girl in school?! “

“ Maybe even in the whole world! “

“ Seriously..” says Ae ri in disagreement.

“ everyone, it’s okay. “ then smiles again.

Everyone sighed softly while Iseul sits the other side of Ae ri.

Then classes proceeds.

Lunch time, all students gathered around the table where iseul, the prettiest girl is sitting. A lot of boys offered a lot of food just for iseul.

Ae ri then wondered why lot of boys are gathered around iseul.

“ why are there a lot of boys around iseul? “ ae ri asks the girl near her

“ isn’t it obvious? Because shes the prettiest girl around here “ out of awkwardness, the girl ae ri asked left.

“ I don’t think she is though..” says ae ri.

Ae ri then walked near the counter, took some food and payed when she hears the boys go silent. Iseul walked up to ae ri. Takes her by the wrist and took her to a table.

Iseul smiles at ae ri saying,

“ I hope we get along well, NBSB girl “

as they finish their food, ae ri left iseul without a word. Leaving iseul like that, she got angry at how she was just ignored.

Walking through the hallway, ae ri was called to the principal’s office. Boys started to tease her by saying it was because of how she ignored iseul while the girls just gossiped about that same matter. Ae ri ignores them an walks towards the principal’s office to find iseul and the principal inside.

“ what is she doing here? “ out of the blue, ae ri asks.

“ I simply cannot accept your behavior ms. Na “

“ How could you hit your fellow student out of jealousy? “ the pricipal then says while looking at ae ri in a serious look.

“ principal.. “

“ what? “

“ I don’t know what you're talking about.. “ said ae ri, looking at the pincipal with curiosity.

The principal then was about to speak when iseul then interrupts

“ what do you mean you don’t know Na Ae ri? “

“ my friend here was hurt “

“ if you got annoyed by me, i deeply apologize… but please don’t hate me to the extent you would hurt my friend! “ iseul then defends her honor.

The principal sighs

“ im gonna call your parents now “ the he stands up.

“ wait. “ ae ri interrupts

The principal was about to say something when someone knocked on the door. Ae ri opens the door to find a student carrying a soda. Out of frustration, ae ri snatched the soda. Opened it, walked towards both iseul an her friend then splashed the soda to iseul’s friend then her.

“ hey. “

“ I just wanted peace and have an awful life here. “

“ im sorry mr . principal but this is the first time ive seen this girl. “ then pointed at iseul's friend.

She then bows and leaves the office. Ae ri was walking down the hallway from the principal‘s office when someone grabbed her by the arm. It was pitch dark when ae ri opened her eyes to feel that the one who grabbed her by the arm is now dragging her somewhere. They walked fast and she could feel that they were going up a stair. She tries to stop the person and be freed from its grip ut it was so tight that it started hurting the more she tries to be let go from it.

They then reaches the roof of the school. Light from the sun starts to uncover the darkened face of the person. The person then lets her go while as for ae ri, all she could see was the bac of the person and it turned out to be a guy.

“ look. If you’re gonna bully me here and now because of how I ignored your iseul, I cant today. “

“ . . . . . . “

“ then you should be glad that Its me. “

“ hm? “

“ are you high? I don’t even know you “

Then started to hear a gamble walking up the stairs going towards the door where they came from then BAM! Door opens because of tons of boys.

“ is she there?”

“ no, no.. she isn’t… “

“that damn that woman… “

“maybe we haven’t checked the whole school! Lets go !!! “

Then leaves.

As they leave, the two of them were In a corner, beside each other while the guy is still holding ae ri’s hand.

“ what's your name? “ ae ri asks

“ sorry, im not interested on NBSB girls “ the smiles at her

She let go from his hand as she walks by the door to check.

“who were they after? “

“ you of course “

“ after they saw you just ignore iseul like that, they blew out of anger and spied on you. “

“ but… “ ae ri interrupts.

“ then how did you know that? “

“ were you also spying on me with them? “ her face then turned to look at him disgusted.

“ don’t be like that. That’s just gross. “ he then says

“ I heard it from my classmates. “

“ you shouldn’t come to your house later. “

“ why ? “ ae ri then asks.

“ they will most probably wait on you. “

“ wait- who do you think I am? “ ae ri complains.

“ count me out from other girls. I am not like them. “

Then she leaves. She went down, then started to check the hallway. Coming down behind her was the guy.

“ Ah! Na Ae ri! Guys! I caught Na Ae ri! She’s here!!! “ says the guy loud enough to be heard. Ae ri then covers his mouth, drags him in a classroom that’s empty as they hear tons of footsteps coming from the outside while the both of them hid behind the door very close to each other so that they wont be caught.

The crowd then disappears, ae ri calms and started hitting the guy.

“ you cockroach… shut your mouth” then kicks him on his knees.

He then laughs softly as she smiled lightly.

The following day, where it was normal as is, Na Ae ri got curious of the guy’s name and temporarily called him “ the rooftop guy “. She figured that since she met the guy in school, she went all over the school to find him but couldn’t. She then decides to go to her last hope; the rooftop.

“ looking for someone? “

“ yeah, do you- “ she turns around to see the guy behind her eating an apple.

“ I mean- no one.. “ Na ae ri quickly denies it.

Offering her an apple, the guy says, “ heard you were finding a guy “ not accepting the apple, she wanted to deny it again when he interrupted. “ That you met right here at this place. “

“ how did you even heard that when you weren’t here? “

“ so you were looking for me “ saying that, he starts to tease her that she likes him.

“ we just met NBSB girl, do girls really fall in love this fast? “then starts eating the apple again when she shoves it in his mouth even more she says, “ don’t get me wrong, I just got curious “ mumbling, he then agrees to her statement for her to stop shoving the apple in his mouth. She stops and demanded the guy for food. “ okay, im hungry.. buy me food “ Once again, he offers the apple “ its not poisoned “ staring at the apple, she says “ well im not snow white. “ then moves his hand which holds the apple putting it away from her.

Now knowing the fact that Ae ri looked all over the school just for him, He agreed to buy her food.

The two ate together and they said goodbye to each other. Na Ae ri takes the bus to go to the library to memorize the lessons of the day and prepare for upcoming lessons. Sometimes stays there ‘til midnight to do her tasks or sleep there unintentionally due to so much energy consumption. One day, the family had a bonding at a mall but didn't arrive together. Na ae ri’s parents arrived with their car, while her sister, Na Sumi, arrived with a taxi. As for Na Ae ri, she arrived using a bus. They had a wonderful bonding and enjoyed it. When it was afternoon, the parents' decided to go home together in their car but the two sisters had things to do. Na sumi states that she has a group project that needs to be done by tomorrow. As for Na Ae ri, she says that she has to go to the library out of routine. The family was shocked but they let her go. She goes to the library using the bus (again), and came to her senses that she needn't to go to the library today, but she blabbered all that to her family so she couldn’t go back. She then decides to read and got her book, went walking towards her usual seat only to find a handsome guy. She wasn’t astonished but was frustrated that someone sat on her seat.

“ excuse me, why are you sitting there? “ she starts to look to the man seriously.

“ because I want to “ he replies while doing what he does.

“ That is my seat. “ saying that a little loud, she was shushed by a some people

“ No, this is the LIBRARY’S seat. “ he then starts to look at her with a look that he doesn’t care what she thinks.

“ . . . . . . “

She then grabs him by the collar and starts to drag him outside of the library. She lets him go and complains that, that is her usual place and he just came there like he owns the seat adding, that she has become attached to the seat.

“ Oh so that is why I found a used gum under the chair! “

Whispering under his breath, “ that’s why there are boogers…”

She slaps him lightly and couldn’t look at him “ you should act like a gentleman.. “

“ and YOU act like a lady? “

“ by the gum and the disgusting ‘paste’ I think you never did. “

By that, her frustration came back and looked at him. Staring at each other, they didn’t tell a word and went back to what they were doing. Na Ae ri would just read by the bookshelves while the guy came back and sat again.

A few days have passed and the two were playing “ first come, first served ” and had their telepathy take care of each other whenever they see each other in the library. Time passed and it has been 4 days that they have been like that and out of time, the guy went towards Na Ae ri to tell her she can sit at the chair for now. They continued to be nice to each other that they finally talked. And found out that they had similar interests.

“ sometimes I just cant figure out why some people hate rock music. “ says Na Ae ri.

“ right? Rock music expresses so many things “

“ do you?- “ says both of them..

“ yeah.. “

Then laughs.

“ what's your name by the way? “ asks the guy,

“ Na Ae ri, you? “

" Kim Son Woo "

Morning and there is a guy coming to the school. All idolized him. He goes to a classroom and was being introduced by the teacher.

Na Ae ri : Im here! *then hands a paper to the teacher*

Na Ae ri : *pulls out a checking board out of her bag and checked something in the list* and….. done.

Na Ae ri looks at what was currently happening and saw,

Na Ae ri : KIM SON WOO?!

Kim Son Woo : hello

Na Ae ri sits at her seat and listens to the teacher.

Teacher : okay everyone, lets all welcome Kim Son Woo again after his temporarily suspension.

All greeted him and some even talked to him casually as he sat on his seat which was beside Na Ae ri.

Na Ae ri hands a piece of paper to him wrote; ‘you didn’t tell me you were studying here. ‘

Kim Son Woo leans close to Na Ae ri’s ear whispering as the teacher discussed.

Kim Son Woo : you didn’t ask.

And continued whispering to each other leaving the whole class in shock that the NBSB girl is associated with the “most handsome guy” in the school as if they knew each other for a long time.

The bell rings, its Lunchtime.

Kim Son Woo : Ae ri

Everyone's thought : AE RI ?!

Na Ae Ri : what?

Kim Son Woo : Buy me lunch, I forgot my money.

Na Ae ri : Dimwit, im not some maid.

Everyone’s thought : DIMWIT?!

Kim Son Woo : c'mon, I bought you your food before

Everyone’s thought : THEY ATE TOGETHER?! WHEN?!

Na Ae ri walks out of the classroom telling Kim Son Woo she agrees as for everyone in the classroom, they all stared as the two talked freely to each other.

While walking through the hallway, Kim Son Woo puts his arm around Na Ae ri out of habit as they were stared.

Na Ae ri : Don’t buy a lot. I don’t have that much on me.

Kim Son Woo : you trynna save up?

Na Ae ri : yeah, im gonna buy the new series of “Possession” (book doesn’t exist)

Kim Son Woo : you're like the old type, you know?

Na Ae ri : What do you know? Then scoffs.

They then fetched some food and sat in an area as they were being stared by the whole school.

Na Ae ri : Hey, Son Woo

Kim Son woo : hm?

Na ae ri : where is the book you borrowed Last week? The library called me the other day. It hasn’t been returned yet.

Kim son woo : hm? Oh, that book? Or THE book?

Everyone’s thought : what are they talking about? Are they seeing each other behind Iseul's back?

Na Ae ri : No, the OTHER one.

Kim son woo : ah….

Kim son woo leans in to her telling her to just ignore the stares. Later, some girl approached him and whispered something. Kim son woo excuses himself and left Na Ae ri who was eating when a group of girls approached her.

Girl 1 : how did you meet Kim son Woo?

Girl 2 : how do you know him?

Girl 3 : you only met him today and your already close to him. What did you do?

Girl 1 : do you like him?

Na Ae ri : look, I don’t really know what to say.

She stands up and starts walking away. She was being followed while being asked so she started to run. As she was running, she suddenly saw Kim son woo and Won Iseul. Body were close to each other and it looked like they were flirting wiith each other. With that small glance she stopped running.

Na ae ri : Hey!

Everybody who was following her stopped talking and asking her questions when they heard her shout.

Na Ae ri : Shut up will you!?!!

Na Ae ri : i've got all sorts of problem and I don’t want you all to add it up with your questions!

She was talking loudly and was kind of close to the area where she saw Kim son woo with Won iseul so the two heard it clearly and Kim son woo was impressed deep though deep inside he was worried he was a burden to her ever since she knew he was a student at their school. All the students who were following her left as Na Ae ri went to roam the hallways. She then sees a board where a lot of flyer for clubs are in. Several clubs are there and the one that caught her sight the most was the literary club.

She was amazed as she roamed the hallways she thought she would never see without a crowd when she heard a voice. Na Ae ri follows the voice and enters the classroom where she heard the voice only to see a back of a guy as he sings. She stayed and enjoys his singing when she heard a voice calling for her name. She then hurries out the classroom and ran back. Lunch was over and Na Ae ri had a group presentation to do.

A class was ongoing and Na Ae ri couldn’t focus at all. She tore a piece of a paper and wrote something then passes it to Kim son woo.

Kim son woo then reads,

“ can I ask you something, here and now? “

He then writes something on the back of the paper and passes it back to Na Ae ri.

She reads it,

“ nope, I actually have something to tell you. Lets meet at the rooftop after class. “

Na Ae ri out of nowhere, not realizing,

“ hm?.. “ she says loud enough to be heard by almost the whole class.
