In the year 500 Japan in another world, swordsmanship⚔️ was the basic requirement to riches and territorial lands . From this, leaders emerged from Japan to create 7 states. These were lead by Kings who commanded armies of 30 000 to 50 000 swordsman who each had their unique abilities depending on the amount of mana one could hold. They were four basic magic elements that were used in swordsmanship which were fire 🔥 water, wind🌪️, water 🌊 and earth ⛰️. Elemental users could cover their swords with their element to make them more effective and these ranged from 2nd class to 3rd class swordsman and these could be at least 10 000 in a king's army. 1st class swordsman comprised of about 1 000 in the King's army and these were also known as 2nd ranks nobles. These besides covering their swords with elemental magic🗡️🗡️🗡️. They were capable of directly hitting an enemy with their mana for example throw fire balls or shoot ice or earth or even blow his enemy. After them were High ranking nobles and these could be only be 25 to 50 in a army. These could do everything done by lower ranks and in addition, could summon elemental spirits onto themselves🐉🦬🕊️🧞🧜. These swordsman were highly feared hence the King's power rested on how many high ranking nobles one had.

However by year 550 East Nation, a country far east of Japan emerged other higher class of swordsman. these could use two or three elements and we're known as knights💂💂. The East Nation due to this immense power defeated 3 countries and enveloping them under their rule. The King himself was said to be the most powerful knight as he was said to possess the great fire spirit salamander 🐉 whose fire was believed to burn an entire army. Scared of the rumours of this power the remaining countries joined arms and named themselves the West Nation thereby dividing Japan into only two Nations. The West Nation in it's quest to salvage power began project X. The project was to forcefully fuse spirits of different elements on children for example fusing a water spirits on a fire elemental users to create artificial knights. Although they were lots of deaths of children. They were successful in creating what were to be known as berserkers🧟☣️. These were brainwashed knights of the West Nation whose power was feared even across the East Nation. The border between The West and East stopped moving further into the East and became a stalemate for both Nations. No man's land🏜️🏜️. A canyon enveloped by death which separated the two nations. By the time 570. Technological advancement became popular as fire users began to use guns 🔫🔫which was capable of killing berserkers and knights thus fire users ranked between normal elemental users and 1st class swordsman. At that time a 7 year old child🧍 in a certain village in West Nation was taken from a widow whose husband had died in battle and thrown into the 30st Platoon were they made beserkers.

[At 30st Platoon. In a testing room three scientists sit at one end of a room with two gaurds at their side. Children are being brought one by one by a solider and tested their capabilities. A boy is brought in ]

SCIENTIST ONE🧑‍💼: What's your name little boy? [SILENCE] What's your name boy don't make me repeat myself again ? [SILENCE AGAIN]

SCIENTIST TWO🧑‍⚕️: I hope it's not another deaf one [SCIENTIST ONE walks up to the boy and smacks him hard on the face]

BOY 🧍: I'm sorry [starts sobbing] I didn't know you meant meant me.

SCIENTIST ONE🧑‍💼: Can't you see you the only one here [smacking him again]

BOY🧍: I can't see.

SCIENTIST TWO🧑‍⚕️: Mmmm then we have no use for that one, gaurds, dispose of him.

BOY: Please let me live. I know how to cook how to clean, wash... please [desperately]

SCIENTIST ONE🧑‍💼: How are you supposed to that if you can't see huh [kicks the boy and he grovels to the ground]

[Gaurd takes boy by the hair and starts dragging him out]

BOY🧍: Wait... please, I can see in the dark, I can do night shifts ... please [crying]

SCIENTIST THREE 🧑‍🔬: Wait, give him to me

[Scientist one and two both shocked. Scientist three stands up and leaves.]

[A FEW WEEKS LATER . The scientist three is with the boy. They face each other about 15 metres apart.]

SCIENTIST THREE 🧑‍🔬: Boy, what's your name ?

BOY🧍: Akira

SCIENTIST THREE 🧍: Speak up boy !!!

AKIRA : Akira !

SCIENTIST THREE: Good. You can call me Master K. Okay now we're are done with formalities. I hope you had your rest these past two weeks because you are now going to begin your training. Give me 100 push ups.

[Akira tries to protest but doesn't and does the push ups but falls done after only 10 push ups. Master K starts to beat him up with a wip ]

MASTER K🧔: Boy !!!!! I said 100 pushups not 10 !!! Again !!

For the next weeks Master K and Akira had vigorous training exercises till Akira's body was rigid and masculine. His back has scars all over from Master K's wip.

MASTER K🧔: Okay, I see now that you can do a 1000 push ups and pull ups with ease. Tomorrow will start on your combat training.

Master leaves the training room and leaves Akira panted and worn out from the exercise. Akira looks for his walking stick and stands up. He drags himself out of the training room into the sleeping dorms. In the sleeping dorms , each person has his/her dorms or rather his cell. Akira could hear others screaming and murmuring probably because of the genetic engineering of their bodies in order to accommodate two spiritual elements. He reaches his bed and lies on his stomach and starts crying.

NEXTDOOR CELLMATE 👤: Your master beat you again huh. Well at least that's all he does to you compared to us. I have lost the number of those who have died. It was first Yuri then Akame followed by Kiara and others. I've lost count of how many people have died.
