It all began when a baby cry was heard and their was joy all over the kingdom Azare. A big town in the northern part of sahill Savannah. The kings fourth wife just gave birth to a warrior. even before he was born there were so many prophecies about the new born prince. The king was happy but he knows they would be so many challenges to befall the new born prince.

Here is the story of prince Adil of Azare.

He was born during war raised and trained by his fathers best warriors called the BLACK ELITE. He is brilliant, a fast learner but his only weakness is he trust easily. in his teenage age he deafted the most fearful warriors called the KANURI WARRIORS , he was loved by his people they always sing his praises. His elder brother prince Bande was in the western part of the land conquering the western land, with his warriors, his stories have been heard far beyond their land boundaries there for attracting more enemies to their kingdom. While prince Adil is being trained his elder brother came back jubilating over his victory, when he saw how fast prince Adil is improving in his skills he got very jealous and his anxiety started eating him up inside and when ever he sees the little prince he feels like his losing the kingdom gradually. So he decided to take action before things get out of hand. so he went to the king to asked if he could take his little brother with him when his going for the next adventure into the western land, that it would enhance his experience about war and also change his ideology. Well the king having, no dought about his son's intentions agreed to the idea which he later informed the young prince about it he was so happy, not knowing what would befall him. Prince Adil informed his mom about the journey his about to embark soon with his elder brother prince Bande but his mom was not alright about the whole situation but she didn't showed it out although a part of her disagree with it, so she asked the young prince if he really wants to embark on the journey, and he says yes that it is his only opportunity to go beyond his fathers kingdom. To see things which he has only heard stories about. When the time arrived for them to embark on the journey, the king requested that the BLACK ELITE should join them, but prince bande disagreed saying that the elite have more things to protect in the kingdom, prince bande promised to protect the young prince with his life, and after all i still have my elite with me so father you shouldn't worry, the young prince is going to have the best experience of his life. On that day, the whole kingdom wished them goodluck. Prince Adil was just busy starring at the great walls in the kingdom while the soldiers marched out of the kingdom.

As the soldiers marched into the western land, i knew that am going to face some difficulties, but am prepared to face what ever that is coming my way i said in my mind, i was distracted by my elder prince bande, hey little fella what are you thinking?

We havent gone that far, you can still change your mind, if you want to go bark home he laughs.

A warrior is never afraid i said to him smiling, what do you know about being a warrior he asked? Well from what i have learnt a warrior always fight for justice, protect the weak and his kingdom, that's a brilliant answer but do you think you have all those qualities you just mentioned, yes i do or dont you see those qualities in me? He laughs yeah i see them, and that is why dad always call's you his treasure he laughs aloud, i just kept quiet trying to focus on the journey.

Our attention was called by his elite captain, my prince it seems we are about to enter the city of numan, and i heard rumors spreading that one of our great enemy prince Dabo of DEMSA KINGDOM is camping with his armys waiting for us, ok may be we should take them unaware if that's the situation, but my prince the soldiers need rest we have been traveling for week's, we would camp near the city, and don't forget to send some of our men into the city to spy on prince Dabo i want to know how prepared he is for the war.

I later went to the tent where my elder prince Bande was discussing with his elite soldiers on how they were going to deafeat prince Dabo, when i came in they all stoped talking, it was as if they were waiting for me before they roundup the plan, i wanted to send for you young prince but you arrived in time, tomorrow we are going to war, and i would love to see you fight by my side little brother, who are we fighting?

Prince Dabo of Demsa Kingdom answered by captain dogo, may we be victorious i said.

on the other side prince Dabo was busy preparing also, my prince i heard that prince Bande came with the young prince, oh that is careless of him, because victory is ours tomorrow, and i would love to have their both head's as i get my revenge for killing my best friend king Ali he laughs.

The next day we rode off early in the morning, reaching the city gate of numan our soldiers were split into two teams, the first team were to surround the city while the second team went inside the city lead by me and prince Bande, brother be careful he said as we were being attacked by prince Dabo's soldiers, as they were getting closer we all drew our sword and charged for combat.

I got off my horse and stormed into the soldiers with one strike i took two soldiers down, my sword skills were amazing immediately captain dogo joined me, my prince be careful he said more soldiers were coming my way, but they see no fears in my eye's and kept on striking, my cloth's were stained with blood, the soldiers were now retreating but we were not taking anything for granted, i stormed into Dabo's tent.

Their are met him sitting on his throne waiting for prince Bande but unfortunately for him he met me instead, hey kid get out of here before you face death, i smiled and attacked him striking very hard with my amazing skills, although he is a good fighter when it comes to sword but i was able to deafeat him with out sustaining any injury,

He was still bleeding when prince Bande came in , just to finish him up, victory is ours brother he said , starring at me did got injured ? i said no , but next time it is not advisable for you to face an enemy all alone, what if you got killed what will i tell father.

I think we are done for today let's go take some rest, and also bring in the prisoners.

After their victory against prince Dabo, all the soldiers were talking about the bravery of prince Adil, they were singing praises of him. This got prince Bande more jealous, so he decided to act fast so he could get rid of the young prince.

This was how it all started . I was invited by my elder prince bande to join his elite team on a mission to a land far away in the middle east called Agadas we were to spy on the kingdom, know their weakness so we could come over and conquer them. But when we arrived at the kingdom captain Dogo ordered me into the kingdom while they stayed behind waiting. Not knowing i was set up by my elder prince Bande and his elite team.

Before we embarked on the mission, my elder prince bande had already sent a letter to the ruling king of Agadas informing him of our mission in his land. When i entered into the kingdom, there were soldiers every where ready for battle, it didnt take much time for the soldiers to identify me as a traitor. I was caught and taken to the place where i met the great king Lamido iv, what are you doing in my territory? He asked, i am just a stranger looking for some where i can start a new life i lied ". He smiled but you dont look like someone who is looking for a place to start a new life, what brings you to my land young prince? I was shocked and was out of word's to say. I know you are surprised but don't be your stories have been heard all over the eastern lands, we were expecting you for a long time now you see, and now that you are in my possession i will make you my greatest treasure. Now that i have known that my cover had been blown, i drew my sword heading towards the royal gate, all that was in my mind was to figure out how to escape, i was surrounded by his soldier's. Young prince am going to give you a once in a life time offer, i heard that your sword skills are excellent so am proposing a sword fight , if you deafeat me then you can leave freely with out being stopped by my soldiers. I thought it was an easy offer so i accepted to fight him, and the battle began when he drew his sword i knew the sword was a special sword that can only be used by a sword master, i know i was in for deafeat my only chance was to fight without giving him the chance to fight back, but it is impossible. He attacked me i defend it, wow this guy skills are amazing, i fought back attacking with all my best skills but his defense was to strong for me to breake, he caught me offer guard i was fighting too hard, that i had to use all of my energy forgetting that am supposed to reserve some, for my defense, he striked back with just one strike i was deafted i got injured. I lost for the first time in my life, i was taken to the prison, Left to my fate but i promised to take my revenge.
