The first Chapter

Ella's pov - It was a bright sunny day but the dark cloud can be seen everywhere in the sky. The climate was strange! I look up to the sky from my balcony and felling uncomfortable by suddenly feeling a little anxious. But i shook off these feelings and went to the washroom. After getting dressed, I came down to the dinning hall for breakfast, there was no trace of Alder can be seen.

I cooked some light breakfast for me and sat down in the dinning table. While eating i thought in mind, "again he didn't come home. With what work he's so busy with that he seldom come home. No, does he even remember at all that he has a wife?" I was very upset thinking about all of these stuffs. After eating my breakfast and taking care of the dishes i called my best friend Ana. She answered right way which brought a smile on my face thinking about it.

Ana- "Hello my darling, good morning. I was just going to call you but you called me first its fate isn't it.... hahaha".

Ella- "Good morning to you too my best friend and yes it is fate haha. ^^ So why did you thought about calling me so early in the morning? Do you have a plan for the day or what?"

Ana- "haha...ha..ha ...eh....um i.. i ..it is a bit... i mean i can't tell you about it over ph....we have to meet. So get ready I'm going to pick you up myself in 20 minutes."

Ella- "b..but...why suddenly?... what's.."

Ana- "Ella....my best friend please believe me and get ready.... today is very important...we can't afford to waste any time anymore.

Upon hearing what Ana said, i grew more anxious. I don't know why I'm feeling like this from the morning but i don't have any good feeling about it. But i shook off these feelings again and decided to go as i was also feeling bored.

Ella- "um okay Ana... I've no problem... either way I don't have anything to do at home also so I'll go with you^^......but what plans did you made? Shopping? or anything else?" ^^

Ana- "uuh... I'll tell you when we'll meet....so don't worry."

Ella- "wow! Why being so mysterious...haha? but okay I'll hear it from you directly when we meet.....then see you in 20mins."

Ana- "hmm....yes."

She cut the call and then got up to get ready. Ella opened her wardrobe and choose a simple elegant blue dress for her. With minimal make-up she simply brushed her hair and let it stay like that.

Ella was a natural beauty, she even don't like make-up that much. Ella had a cute dimple on her cheeks... whenever she smiles it shows up which make her more cuter than ever. Her jet black long hair brings more beauty to her. It's like black curvey clouds....so mysterious and beautiful. Ella's elegant blue dress which were hugging her curves very well helped her to look hot yet graceful. She wore a black heels. With that she was done and suddenly she heard a doorbell. "it must be Ana" she thought to herself......and ran downstairs to open the doors for her. But she saw it wasn't Ana ....."woah, what a surprise Theo and Rebecca. Where's Ana?"

Rebecca- "She's in the car....um if you are ready then let's go?"

Ella- "Yeah, I'm ready. Just give me a minute so that i can leave a message for Alden. Why don't you guys come and sit in the drawing room?"

Theo- "Um...Ella i don't think that'll be necessary....i mean does Alden even come home at this hour?"

Hearing what Theo said i felt a little heavy on heart. But yes that is true.... he'll not come at this hour. For him work is the most important thing, he don't even come at night so it's impossible to come home at working hours.

Rebecca- "Ella? what are you thinking?"

Ella- "uh..h....no i was just thinking what Theo said is correct... he'll not come at working hours so let's go. Just a minute let me grab my bag." ^ ^

Rebecca- "yeah...sure."

Rebecca and Theo looked at eachother and smile a little. They went near Ana's car where she was waiting for them.

Ana- "Here you guys are....Hii Ell...get on the car...let's go now."

Ella- "Hi, but where are we going...now can anyone tell me?" ^ ^

Ana- "Yes Yes you will know in a minute."

Ana started the car and noded her head to Rebecca.

Rebecca- "Ella...what I'm going to tell you now...you..you might be hurt but this is all for you. We can't see you to get hurt anymore. We don't want you to stay in the dark."

I looked at her like i can't understand what she's saying, Then Theo handed me a envelope. There's some photos. I opened the envelope and looked at the photos. I couldn't believe my eyes what I was seeing. My eyes widened, I saw my dear husband with my little sister. The two of them was everywhere in the photos and if i was a stranger..... looking at the photos I'd thought 'wow, what a sweet couple'. Yeah they were being all lovey dovey all over the photos. My mind was blank for some moments. Rebecca shook me a little...

Rebecca- "Ella?"

Ella- "Ye...yeah? u..u guys...what do you mean by these? i ..i can't understand a thing"..... suddenly a tear dropped from my eyes. My face was on fire. I was on the verge of crying. But i thought to myself 'no i can't cry now ....I've to know what does these means.'

Ana- "Ella... listening to us. What we are saying is correct...what you saw is correct. These photos was taken by a Theo. You remember when we were at the city center shopping mall last month, Rebecca and me told you that we saw Alden and Liya? you even called Alden and he said he was in the office! But the truth is Theo saw them also and took this photo. From this we got our suspicions so we followed them for some days. And these....these are the results." : (

I couldn't believe what I am hearing...why would they...my face fell pale. Alden, my husband who doesn't even have a little time for his wife why would he spend time with my little sister? I was thinking about all the possible things but i couldn't form a good idea to it. Suddenly Ana stopped the car....i saw we were in front of my father's house. I looked at them with puzzled eyes. Theo suddenly spoke up...

Theo- "Ella you have to face it....you have to know what they were doing behind our back"

Theo was my Classmate and also my sister Liya's boyfriend. When I was in college...Liya proposed to him and it's been 3years they are together. I looked at him with questioned eye...'why he is saying that....what did they do behind our back?' Rebecca said, - "Let's go" and i saw Ana was also out of the car... Theo opened the door for me. We went in and i pressed the doorbell. In some time someone opened the door, it was a maid. Seeing me she started trembling.

Rebecca- "Where's Liya? You better speak fast."

The maid- "She..th..the young miss ii...in..is in he...her ro...in elder miss's room. I wanted to say 'why would be she in my room and why we are even here?'....but my voice won't come out. Ana suddenly took my hand and started climbing the stairs. With each step i take i wanted to run away from there. I don't want to face what awaits...as i knew it can be anything but good. Rebecca and Theo was also following us. We were standing in front of my room. My heart was beating loudly, I could not hear anything. There was so many things going on my head and at the same time i couldn't think straight.

Ana- "Go there and see for yourself self. You can't get cheated by them anymore."

I wanted to say 'what's happening...what they are doing...why we are here' but Theo suddenly opened the door. Then I can hear shameless moans of my sister.

Leya- " a...ah ah uh ah...oh...Alden ah ah."

When the bedroom door opened i saw liya was on top of a man grinding against him like her life depends on it. The room was dark but two body can be seen. Their face wasn't that visible but under the dim light anyone who know them can get the correct idea who were they. They were so busy in their lust game. They didn't even heard the door opening and that there was people behind them witnessing of what's going on.

I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. I couldn't see the man's face but i knew who was he. I didn't want to believe in it. But it was happening in front of my eyes. My heart stopped. I could hear the shattering sound of my heart as i heard the goans from my husband's mouth.

Alden- "uh...uhh...aa...huh..hu...hu..."

Suddenly he flipped Liya and started to thr**t into her like crazy. My stomach flipped at the site of it. I turned on the light as couldn't witness any of that anymore.

With sudden light they were shocked and turned on to see what happened. Alden's eyes widened seeing me standing there.

Liya- "what happened baby...why did you stopped...uh h El E Ella? What you are doing here?"

Rebecca- "Not only Ella but we are also here."

Liya- "T.. Theo...Theo.. w.. why u guys..."

Ana- "oh why we are here you want to ask? Then let me tell you... we are here to witness how low you can go and shameless you can be. That what a wh*re and bastered you two are."

Theo was standing there all the time looking at them with cold eyes. Ella's tears were running down her cheeks like river. Her face was white like a sheet. She was trembling. Alden get off the bed grabbing a towel and liya covered her with the bed sheets. Alden took a step to come near Ella. But she stopped him by looking at him with eyes full of hatred. Ella ran out from the room Ana followed behind her. Rebecca and Theo was standing there. Liya wanted to say something to Theo but Theo stopped her saying- "From on now don't you ever dare to come near me! We are done. But what you did to your sister i couldn't even imagine in my life. How could you be so..."

Rebecca- "Theo why are you even wasting your time talking to them. Ella needs us. Let's go." Saying Rebecca glared at them and then they left from there. Theo's eyes were icey cold. No one could read his thoughts.

Ella's pov-

I thought to myself 'how could they do this to me? why did they do this? I loved Alden with all my heart. I trusted them so much. Liya is my sister, how could she do this to her own sister? In all of the people why it was my sister? How can they be so cruel.' Suddenly she bumped into someone and Ella fell on the ground. It was Mrs. Davis.

Crying Ella wanted to hug her and tell her about the thing her sister has done. But Mrs. Davis spoke up- "Ella you have already know about these so I will not hide it anymore. As you can see your sister and Alden love eachother. Divorce Alder so that your sister can marry him. You two are not suitable for eachother." She just ordered her like this. Hearing what her mother told her her heart broke more.

Ella- "Wh...what are y..you even saying mom. You know about it from the beginning?... I'm also your daughter, no I'm your eldest daughter how can you? How could they do this to me? mom!!?"

Mrs. Davis snickered looking at Ella and said - "It's for your own good. Now we cannot go to past, it can't be undone."

Ella can't believe her own mother, sister and husband betrayed her like this. Not able to bear the betrayal of her family she stromed out off the house crying. Theo, Ana, Rebecca was all there listening to their conversation. Seeing Ella stromed out of the house they also go after her. But not before glaring at Mrs.Davis and Ana saying- "You guys will regret it."

Ella was running on the streets like crazy. She wanted to go away from there as soon as possible.

Theo- "Ella... please stop there... don't run like this....it can be dangerous...Ellaa."

I stumbled, Theo ran fast and grabbed me by my hand before i fell to the ground. Looking at him i started crying my eyes out.

Ella- "Is it even possible? I can't even imagine in my wildest dreams that they'd do this to me. My own family. Why all of people it was my sister?"

Rebecca and Ana also catch up to them and hear what Ella was saying.

Ella- "Tell me have i ever done something so bad that God is punishing me like this?" Saying she cried- waah hh hiccup* hu hu hiccup...why why aaahhh.

Rebecca- "Ella Ella please don't cry like this....people will see...let's go from here guys."

Ana- "Yes, I'll get my car..stay here."

Theo supported me and when Ana drove her car to us we all sat inside the car. Tears were still running down my cheeks. My mind was blank.

They all go Ella's house where she moved after her marriage with Alden. Theo opened the door. Ana and Rebecca helped Ella. Ella was looking like a lifeless doll. Ana couldn't bear the state of her best friend but they've to be here to pack Ella's stuffs. Ana and Rebecca went in Ella's room and packed Ella's things that they could in a suitcase.

Theo was aslo hurt as much as Ella. He couldn't even utter a word. He was hurt deeply. He remembered the time when Liya proposed to him infront of all the people in college. He was happy as he thought of Liya as a sweet, kind-hearted girl. He even thought of introducing her to his family. After witnessing how low she is, the thought of it angers him so much. He was fumming with anger.

Ella's pov- I was setting on the couch silently but there was storms going inside my mind. I was all happy with my life...good family......reliable friends. All was amazing until I meet him. I still remember everything like all of those things happened just yesterday. Falling for him in our first meeting to get married with him. He is the dream man of every girls. I thought I was the luckiest girl in the world. I still remember When it was our marriage day, after all the formalities in the night he never came. When he came back in the next morning i asked him why he didn't come at night, where he was.

(Flashback)*

Alden pressed Ella to the wall and grabbed her jaw full of force. He was hurting her but he didn't care. He answered her with full of anger....

Alden- "For my family i had to marry you. This marriage is nothing but a business deal to me. And when the deal will expire this marriage will also end. Until then just act like a good wife. From this marriage you can get the title of Mrs. Anderson and can enjoy all luxurious life but don't except more than this from me."

Alden forcefully pushed her to the ground. He turned around to leave but stopped at the door.

Alden- "Remember this if anyone gets to know about this, it'll not end well." He warned me.

I could feel how much he didn't want this marriage. I could smell alcohol from him to which i felt like vomiting. I cried after he left. (flashback ends)*

Started from there i knew he isn't in love with me like i was. For him this marriage was more like invisible shackles which binded him. I knew i won't be happy in this marriage...but still I thought if i loved him with all my heart one day he'll surely see my efforts and will also love me back. But all of these were only my wishful thinking. Now i don't even have the strength to cry anymore. I closed my eyes and only could think about the things that happened today. Until Now it’s more than 2years I've been married to him. But I never thought one day all my dreams will be shattered like this. I never thought I'd regret my decision of marrying him so much. When I got to know about the truth, i couldn't believe my eyes. But when i saw them having sex in my own house, on my own bed my heart broke in an instant. The pain i was feeling i couldn't even describe. Ana and Rebecca came back with my suitcase in there hand. I looked at them and again started crying. What else can I do at this situation without crying. I was feeling so helpless.

Ella- "What mistake I made that God is punishing me like this? Tell me Ana. Even my own mother betrayed me. My own sister betrayed me. And A Aa ..Alden... If he didn't wanted then why the hell he married me in the first place?" I was screaming and crying. Why God is doing this to me?

Ella- "Tell me....my own sister and mother betrayed me. How can they...my own blood?"

Ana sat down next to me on the couch- "Ella don't cry please."

Rebecca said with a sad face putting a hand on Ana's shoulder- "No, let her cry. It'll help her."

Then Rebecca looked at Theo. Theo was in the room but his mind was not there. His eyes were cold. Rebecca hesitate to go near him. Suddenly we heard a doorbell. Ana and Rebecca looked at eachother. Theo also looked at the door. We all knew who it can be. Theo got up from the chair and said - "We have to leave now. We can't stay here anymore."

Then he came to me and grabbed my face making me look at him- "Ella please we have to leave now. Please stop crying. Do you want them to see your venerable state? Do they deserve it?"

Theo looked at Rebecca and then Rebecca handed him some papers.

Theo- "Ella, i didn't want to say this to you now. But looking at the situation we have to bring it up. This is the divorce papers."

My eyes widened hearing him.

Theo- "You heard me right. If you don't sing on this now Alden will not let take you with us. Do you want to stay in this marriage knowing all of the things that the have done to you? Do you not have any self respect? Answer me!"

I could heard the frustration from his voice. I know he is also hurt as much I am. He nodded and handed me a pen. I could hear the impatient doorbell ringing again and again.

Theo- "Ella you deserve much more better than this. Please!" He pleaded "Remember what they did to us...what they did to you. Do you still want this marriage? No one knows better than you what is this marriage. Don't waste anymore time Ella. Please! Please!" A tear skipped from his eyes. He quickly adverted his eyes. He didn't want us to see that but I saw.

Yes It's true. No one knows better than me this marriage is nothing to Alden. Before knowing the truth i was only trying in vain. After witnessing today their betrayal I swear to myself I'll never forgive them. I'll let them pay the price of what they've done to me by ten folds. But before that I've to know why did they do this to me. I've to ask Alden why he did this to me. I singed the divorce papers as after this I'm not that low to stay in this marriage anymore. Yes as Theo have said i value my self-respect. I have sacrificed enough self-respect for him. After marriage he wouldn't let me work. I listened to him. He wouldn't let me wear short dresses saying if I'm trying to seduce other males by wearing these short dresses. I beard all the humiliation but still listened to him. I even have to ask him before going anywhere. He even wouldn't let me meet my friends often. He was in control of everything of what I'd do or not. Like I'm a doll he'd decided everything for me. I had no freedom. But still I'd not complain as I've loved him so much. For love I've sacrificed so much but what I get in return? Only betrayal!!

A tear dropped in the paper, but Ella didn't saw. Her eyes were blank. She handed over the papers to Theo.

Ella's pov-

We got up to leave. Ana and Rebecca stood by my side and Theo opened the door. We saw Alden standing there. Alden angrily asked Theo- "Does it takes 20 minutes to open this damn door?" He pushed Theo aside and stromed inside the house. But Rebecca blocked him to go near me anymore. Seeing the suitcase Alden asked- "Where do you think you are going Ella? You are not allowed to leave. Go upstairs."

Ana- "Wow, what a bastered! Why are you even here in the first place? You should be with Liya right?"

Alden-"I'm not talking with you. Ella go to your room. I'll give you answers for what happened today."

Rebecca- "And why should she listen to you? Who are you even to order her around?! She has her own right. She'll do what she wants."

Alden- "I'm Ella husband and it's between her and me. So please Ms. Smith stay out of it."

I couldn't stand anymore. My eyes blazed with fire. How can he talk to my friends like this. How can he still order me around after what he has done? Does he think I'll listen to him like i always do? Does he have no shame? Then he has a bigger misunderstanding. I hated him even more for this. With hatred filled eyes i said to him- "How dare you! Who gives you the right to speak to my friends like this? And what? you are what? My husband? Let me correct you there." I threw the divorce papers in his face.

and said- "You better sing these papers...otherwise see you at the court."

Shock was evident in Alden's eyes. He couldn't even utter a word. And before he could say anything I took my suitcase and got out of that house. We all sat inside Ana's car and Theo drove out of the villa. The ride was silent, no one was speaking. I was thinking of all the things happened today. How can they stoop so low. How can be they so cruel? Looking at the sky from the windows i felt that the sky was also unhappy as it started pouring heavily. I could not stop my tears as i again started crying with the sky. Rebecca was beside me comforting as i made myself a crying mess.
