My Unruly Emperor
Prologue
A long time ago, there was a small boy who was living happily together with his mother and twin sister, in a tiny village from the Qi state.
Their father went to war some years ago and never returned.
The single mother was struggling to rise the two children alone by making and selling clothes.
The village was situated near the Central Pains, a place full of plants used as raw material for obtaining fabrics.
They could also hunt wild animals for their meat and fur.
In this small village wasn't easy to live but not impossible, until one day when the war knocked at their doors.
For some years, Qi has been trying to ward off the neighboring invasions. This time was the Tang estate who was trying to monopolize the Qi's abundant resources.
The land was divided into five estates situated in the middle (Qi to the east, Tang to the south, Qin to the west, Wei to the north and Wu to the north-east) that were surrounding a neutral territory, called The Central Plains and some isles in the ocean which were belonging to one of the estates or they were independent, ruled by their own leader.
Two of the isles spread around the central region were independent states and they were called the Chu state to the east and the Shu state to the north-east but they haven't been recognized as estates by everyone.
Some of the other rulers refused to acknowledge their existence as independent territories.
These were the warring estates from that time.
Prologue-the second part
The war reached the place where our little Feng was living with his family. At that time, he had only twelve years.
One day he went hunting in the plains and saw Tang soldiers marching to their border.
Qi and other states were in conflict with the expansionist Tang.
He rushed back to his village just to find it in ruins and blood.
It was a defenseless place, so the soldiers easily killed the first line of defense and the villages.
All the village's houses were in flames and the heavy smoke was rising at miles away.
He desperately searched for some survivers but no one was breathing.
Suddenly it started to rain, so the flames went out.
Feng went inside his house and under some pieces of wood from the roof he found his dying mother. She was still breathing.
little Lu Feng
Mom, mom...!
Are you alright? Let me get you out!
Feng's mom
Feng...,my little Feng, you're alive!
Thank God!
Lu Feng
Mom...
I'm going to save you, just wait a moment...

Feng's mom

Our little Feng started to search for his sister but he couldn't find her in Tiangu town. He found out that the town's residents left toward the capital hearing the news of the Tang army's arrival.
Taohua left him a letter written on an ornamental stone in front of the tea shop.
"Dear brother, Lady Tai Yi, the tea merchant took all the refugees and left to the capital.
I'm with uncle Gu. If you and mom are alive, please come to the capital. I'm waiting. (signed: Taohua)".
Back in the present
After ten years, in the Qi state's capital, Hunan, a gorgeous young man was selling merchandise on a local market.

Now Feng was the member of a famous trading organization from the capital, whose leader was the son of a wealthy merchant. Their business was based on the production and sale of various products and raw materials. This organization had over 1000 employees, 500 shops or workshops, and its headquarters were at the "Big Fish House", the old merchant's residence.
The old man had a son (Jin Long) and a daughter (Jin Zi Juhua). He took Lu Feng in twelve years ago, after the great war with Tang.
