Derek's POV

"Come back here, Serene! ", I shout and follow her while putting on my clothes.

Serene don't bothered to look back on me or even stop for a single step. She's on the middle of stairs when I grab her upper arm.

"Let. Me. Go.", she said coldly.

"No. Let me explain please."

"Is there an explanation, why you cheat on me?"

"Wife, no. I don't... I never do that to you. I love you so much, Serene."

"But you did, Derek."

I regret everything when she look up on me, with her teary eyes, pain is very visible on it.

"Wife..."

She slap me so hard, "How dare you?! How dare you to do this to me? I trust you, love you and gave up everything for you! Am I not enough? Why you need to cheat on me?"

"Serene, Wife... Don't say that. You're more than enough. And I don't cheat on you. I don't know how it happened but I swear there's nothing happened between me and Pia. Please believe me."

"I was so worried of you because you don't go home last night. I almost got an accident just to be here as fast I can because I received a message that you're here and can't go home.", her voice cracked while talking.

"I'm sorry..."

"And I just worried for nothing. Because you... ", she tipped her finger on my chest. "You're here and enjoying with someone else!"

"No, wife. I don't know how I get here... why I am with Pia."

"You don't know? Let me remind you, I saw you two on bed ***** and sleeping peacefully. what? Too tired to remember what you did last night?"

I shake my head in disapproval. I don't really know what happened last night. I attended a party and as far as I know, Pia was not there. That's why I don't know how I get here... in Pia's house. And worst, Serene saw us on bed *****.

"Is she that good? That you forgot... You have a wife waiting for you?", there's an insecurity on Serene's voice.

"Serene... "

"You're the only one I have now. I gave up my career for you and my parents disowned me because of you and yet this is what I get? I don't deserve this Derek."

I hug her and kiss the side of her head.

"I love you, Serene. Just you, please believe me. I won't do anything that will hurt you.", I whispered on her.

"Let me go."

"Serene... No... Please... "

"please Derek... Let me go."

"No, wife. Never."

"I said let me go! ", she push me forcedly .

I gasped when she lost her balance and almost fall if not because of the banister.

"Serene! Are you okay?"

She look at me sharply then a pair of arms hug me from behind.

"Let her go, Babe. Let's go back to sleep.", Pia said dreamily and kissed my back.

"Shut up!", I forcedly remove her arms and faced her.

My forehead knotted when saw her, she's just wearing a thin nighties that showing her curves. You can even guess that she don't have wear anything under the thin fabric.

"Like it?"

"You..."

I heard a sound of a door and before I realized it, Serene was gone already.

"She's gone. Let's cuddle on bed?"

I grabbed her arms tightly and gave her a deadly stare. "I won't repeat this. STAY. AWAY. FROM. ME."

After I said that I carelessly let go of her that make her sit on the stair. I don't mind even she break a bine or what. I rushly leave the house and follow my wife.

But there's no Serene I found in our house.

"Derek, why you're come home just now?", Nanny Perla asked.

"Have you seen Serene?"

"Huh? She left to fetch you. Why you didn't came home last night? Your wife prepared a special dinner as a surprise on your 1st anniversary."

I grabbed my hair and pulled it. Damn! What I have done? I tried to call Serene but she don't answer any of it.

Evening come and still no sign of Serene. I was so worried but I don't know where to find her. Until I received a phone call from a police officer and informed me that my wife, Serene, was involved in a car accident and now in critical condition.

I went to the hospital immediately, and there I saw her parents crying while my unconscious wife is in the stretcher.

"Serene! Serene, wife wake up please!", I almost shake her body to wake up her.

"Sir, we need to bring the patient in E.R immediately. She's losing a lot of blood now."

"Please save her, save my wife.", I begged on the doctor.

"We'll do our best."

I am still holding Serene's hand while we're heading to emergency room.

"Wife, be strong please. Don't leave me.", I said while crying. I can't help it.

"Sir, I'm sorry but you can't go inside."

When they took Serene inside the emergency room, I felt strange. I even imagine Serene calling me while smiling and waving at me.

"No.. Please... Wife... Don't leave me.", I whispered.

"It's all your fault!", Serene's father said angrily while grabbing the front of my shirt. "Since my daughter met you she's always hurting! And now, she's in danger! It's your fault! "

"Stop it! This is not the right time for that!"

Her father release me but still giving me a deadly stare.

We wait for an hour, every seconds passed by I can't stop myself from worrying. I feel so scared. I don't want to lost her. Not my wife.

But maybe the heaven above punishing me for being a bad husband. When the doctor said that my wife is dead, I died also... inside.

"Serene.. No... No.. She's alive....", I was about to go inside the room but her father stop me.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"I want to see my wife.", I answered weakly.

I felt so drained.

"No. I won't let you."

"Please sir, I am her husband. I have the rights to see her!"

"Husband? Rights? Why? Where are you before the accident? Why Serene chose to leave? She called us, crying. And now this happened, who do you think fault is this huh?! It's YOUR FAULT!"

"But..."

"Derek, please just this one. We want to be with her for the last time.", her mother said.

I just clenched my hands when they left me outside. And my heart tear apart when I heard her mother's cry from inside the room.

"Serene... Why you leave me?"

I lean on the wall and slowly sit down while crying. I don't care what others say if they see me now.

I just lost my other half, I lost my wife.

Serene...

I keep calling her name, wishing that she can hear me.

I thought I can still see her, hug her and even just a last on kiss her. I don't care if she's dead... I just want to tell her how much I love her.

But NO. They took away from me the chance to do that. Her parents don't allowed me to see her. Before I realized they took her body.

I went to their house, I saw them having a burial for her but they won't let me come. Not even a single second just to see her.

Why?

Am I really that bad?

I didn't do wrong.

I love her so much.

She's my wife, my beloved and my other half.

If I made a mistake, don't I deserved second chance?

Tears flowing from my eyes to my cheeks while looking on her grave.

"Serene... Wife...", I said while tracing her name.

Thinking that it's her face I am touching.

Why they took you away from me? I just wanted to see you for the last time.

From the day she died, my life ruined.

I don't go to work, I just stay on her graveyard drinking while reminiscing our past and blaming my self for everything. I only go back home when the evening comes, a family driver from my parent's house fetch me.

I stopped walking when I heard someone talking on the library. They caught my attention when I heard them mentioned my wife's name. The door is open a little so I peek who are them. It's Dad and... Pia? But why?

"What now? Serene is dead. You promise me that you'll give Derek to me.", Pia in bored voice.

"Just wait Pia. He's still mourning. And it's just a three weeks after his wife's death."

"But I can't wait anymore. Do something! I want Derek!"

"Don't raise your voice on me, Pia."

"But you promised me. That's why I agree to your plan. I message Serene to come on my house that day to let her see me and Derek on compromising situation. She left him, right? Although we don't plan her death the fate is on my side."

"Why you don't really slept with him? It's much better if you'll get pregnant. You can use the baby to have him."

"How I can do that to a man keep calling his wife's name even on sleep?"

"But you said that you can seduced him."

I angrily enter the room, they are both shocked on my suddenly appreance.

"D-Derek... "

"S-son.. You're here already."

"Yes. And heard everything, Dad. So it was you who planned this? Why? Why you wanted very much my wife to leave me?"

"Pia is the one for you son. And you're too blind to see that because you're so crazy about that bitch!"

"Don't you dare calling my wife, that name again. Or I'll forget that you're my father."

"What?! "

"Derek, there's no use for that. Your wife is dead already. We can start a new life.", Pia said and walked towards me.

"Pia is right. If you marry her, our name will be known on business world more than we had now."

"So its all about money? "

"Babe, money is everything. "

She about to touch me but I hold her wrist tightly.

"Didn't I said to you, STAY. AWAY. FROM. ME? "

"O-ouch... Derek my hand... "

I don't let her go. I don't care even she wince on pain.

"Derek, let her go!"

Dad pulled Pia's hand.

"How can you do this to her?"

"I should be the one asking you that Dad. How can you do this to me? I am your son. But your reasons doesn't change anything. You two ruin my life... and I'll ruin yours too."

"Derek! "

I walked-out without looking back on them.

I loath them! And I promise that I'll make them pay for what they did to my wife.

Serene's POV

I can't believe it!

I can't believe that afterall the things I have done for him he'll cheat on me.

Why? Am I not enough?

Tears continuous flowing on my cheeks, my tosight blurred already but I keep driving. I want to get out of here, I need space.

Just thinking that my husband having a mistress... it's killing me inside.

"Derek...", I stop the car on the side of the road.

I need to calm down myself. I tried to called my mother, I don't know if she'll answer me but I need her now.

"Hello? "

Hearing my mom's voice after a long time make me cry more.

"Hello? Who's this? "

"M-mom... "

"Serene? Oh my God?! Is this you Serene? Are you crying?"

"Mom... I'm sorry..."

"What happened? Are you okay?"

"I don't know Mom... Can I go t-there? I just don't know where to go Mom."

"Serene, my baby girl. Of course, you're welcome here. I'll tell your Dad."

"Thanks Mom."

After the call I start the car again and made my way to our house.

And on my way, a running man suddenly appear from no where. To avoid him I turned the car to the left without noticing a delivery truck that tried to made an over take.

I don't know how it happened, I just felt an extreme pain on my head and back and heard a loud sound of a crashing metal. My car spinned for two times before it hit a street post.

My sight get blurred, I felt a hit and thick liquid flowing on my head, there's a fang of pain when I tried to move my hands. I heard a lot of voices from the background I can hear them but I don't understand what they talking about.

I tried to open my mouth to asked for help. But I felt a pain in my chest and a hard to breath.

Is this my end? But I don't want to. I need to see my parents, I want to see my husband.

As if a sign, I saw my husband image. A fast throwback of our memories together played on my head, from the day we met, we fall in-love, we married, and our everyday life as husband and wife.

A smile form in my lips while remembering those days.

I love him so much. I want to see him again... Be with him again. But we don't have chance anymore.

My eyes slowly closing, even I don't want to I can't help it. And before the darkness totally take me, I call his name, the man I love so much.

"Derek... ", I whispered and everything went black.

Blaire's POV****

I sighed again after reading the rejection letter I received from one of the company I tried to apply two days ago.

"Why it's so hard to find a job?"

Well, it's not really hard if only I have credentials that needed as their requirements.

"Hey, what's wrong?", Jacob asked.

Jacob Estrella is my boyfriend for almost three months now, he's a crew for an international ship, La Princessa.

"Nothing much. I just got rejected again for nth time."

"Honey, don't be sad. If you need money I can send you... "

"No, Jacob. Thanks but I really want to find a regular job."

"But Blaire, how can you find a job? You don't have requirements."

I bite my lips, "I'll find a way."

"How about marrying me? In three months I'll be back let's get married. Then you don't need anymore to problem about money."

"Jacob, please... we're just starting our relationship... it's too early to talk about marriage. "

"But Blaire... fine. I'm sorry, maybe we can talk about these in person. I have to go, take care Honey. Bye! I love you! "

"Take care too... bye."

I heard him sighed before he ended the call.

I continue to fill-up my new application form. I need to find a regular work. And hopefully this time I can find one. I can't depend on my grandparents all my life.

A day passed and I can't still find a job. I don't want to lose hope but right now... I am starting to lose it.

"Blaire! Glad you're here!", my grandmother happily said while holding an envelope. "Here for you!"

"What's this grandma?"

"Sorry if we open it but that is from DS Construction Company, Congratulations Blaire! You have you're final interview tomorrow for the Executive Secretary position."

I can't believe what Grandma said, I read the letter and it is TRUE! My God! Is this a dream?"

"We're so proud of you Blaire."

"B-but Grandma... Is this a dream?"

"No, Blaire."

"OMG! Grandma, I can't believe it! Finally... B-but..."

"Is there's something wrong?"

"Ahm... I am so happy for this good news Grandma. But I don't remember that I ever apply on DS Construction Company... I mean I don't even know that company."

"You just maybe forgot that you passed a resumé."

"Hmm.. Maybe."

"Anyway, why don't try it Blaire? Don't you think that maybe this is your luck?"

I smile on grandma, she's right. Maybe I just forgot about this and all I need to do is grab this opportunity.

"Okay Grandma!"

The next, I feel excited and nervous while on the way to the DS Construction Company. And nervousness eat me inside when I step on the building. I feel so nervous and strange, there is something inside me that I can't explain.

"Hi, Good morning! ", I greet the staff in reception area.

"Good morning, how I can help you Miss? "

"Ahm... I am Blaire Miranda, I received the letter for the final interview.", I show her the letter.

"Just wait for a while, Miss. I'll just verify on HR department regarding this.", she said while smiling but confuse at the same time.

"Sure no problem. Thanks!"

I sit on the waiting area, the receptionist look at me a lot of times while talking on the phone. And its irritate me a lot.

"Is there something wrong?", I asked her.

"Sorry Miss for the wait, you can go now on seventh floor. Look for Michelle and she'll assist you for the mean time."

"Okay. Thanks."

7th floor:

"Hello, l am looking for Michelle. My name is Blaire Miranda I'm here for... "

The woman smile on me, "I am Michelle. Amd you're here for the interview right?"

"Y-Yes."

"I'll come with you to Boss' office."

"Thanks."

"I'm glad you made it here."

"You mean... I passed for the final interview?"

"Yes."

"W-well to be honest... ahm, I don't remember I apply here. But I really need a job right now so I grab this opportunity."

She's still smiling on me, "I know. Actually I am the one who passed your application form."

"Huh? But why and how?"

"I saw you last week in a mall looking on the job advertisement. And you left one of your application form. I'm sorry if I took it without permission."

"Ahm... No it's okay. Thanks for the help."

"No problem. Boss is out of the country for a week that's why it took a week before we send you a confirmation letter."

"Ah Michelle... This Boss of yours.. Is he a good boss?"

"You better find it yourself."

She knocked on the door three times and opened it.

"Good luck. Do your best and just be honest while answering the questions. Boss hates liar."

I nodded and smiled on her, "Thanks."

When I entered the room, my heart start to pumped so fast. This is my first final interview on my whole life. I have to pass this for Grandpa. Thinking my grandfather's condition I gained my determination again.

"Good morning Sir, I am Blaire Miranda!"

"Good morning, you may have a seat first. I'll just finish this.", a baritone voice said.

"Thank you, sir."

I sit on the visitor chair and wait for him. He's busy reading and signing some papers. I look around on his office, it's so manly with a black and white color motif. He don't have a lot of stuffs on his office, just his working table, two sets of visitor chairs, the sofa, center table and a few paintings.

"Hello, Michelle please come in."

Just a minute Michelle came in and he gave her the papers he signed and gave some instructions.

"Okay, so let's proceed to the interview.", and he look on me.

I gasped on air when our eyes met. He has a set of dark brown eyes, it's serious but you can saw a sadness, longing and some emotions I can't name. And for the first time in my life, I got stunned by a man... a gorgeous, handsome and hot man.

"Miss?"

Oh, and heard that? He even had a sexy baritone voice.

"Excuse me, are you with me? Or you want to leave now?"

"S-sir?", I blinked a couple of times. Analyzing what he said.

"I said, are you with me? You see Miss, I am a busy person. If you'll just sit there and day dream, the door is open you can leave."

"S-sorry Sir."

"Tsk.", he looked a paper on his desk maybe my application form. "Blaire Miranda?"

"Yes Sir."

"How old are you? How did you know this company?"

"I am 21yrs. Old, Sir. And... Ahm... I don't have really knowledge about your company. I don't even apply here but Sir I can learn. Promise I'll do my best as I can. I just really need a job."

"Why? You're too young and why you don't even attached any credentials you had."

"I need a job for my grandfather, he's sick right now. And sorry but I don't have any credentials Sir."

"Why?"

"We just moved in here last year, and we lost our important things due to typhoon. "

"And yet your aiming for executive secretary position? Don't you think there's someone much better and much deserving than you out there?"

I bit my lips and lower my head, so this one will be like my other interviews? a REJECTION.

"I'm sorry S-Sir... as I said before... i d-don't really apply here... but I really need a job now so I grab this opportunity. A lot of my interviewers rejected me for not having any credentials and I understand it... But I know myself I can do the job."

"And where did you see yourself after five years?"

"Huh? Still working beside you.", I answered without thinking.

But I can really imagine myself working for him, even after five years or more.

"Beside me, huh?", a playful smile formed on his lips.

I got blushed when I realized what I said, "Sir... What I mean is..."

"Let's see about that. Anyway, I need a trustworthy person."

"I am, Sir! "

"Hard working. "

"I am willing to work overtime, Sir. "

"Even without pay?", he asked with amusement in his voice.

I don't know why but I suddenly feel comfortable with him, "Of course with pay, Sir.",

He just smiled on me.

And there it goes again, the fast beat of my heart.

"There are times I need to go out of the country and you need to accompany me. Is that okay with you?"

"Out of the country, Sir?"

"Yes, if ever you'll be my external executive secretary. You'll deal with my external affairs or things outside the company."

"Ahm.."

"Any problem with that? Won't your husband allowed you to?"

"I don't have husband, Sir. And for sure Jacob won't mind as long as it's about work."

"Who's this Jacob then?", he asked in dangerous tone.

"My b-boyfriend."

"I see. So what's the problem?"

"Nothing much Sir, I just don't have passport and I never ride an airplane before."

"If you want this job, you need to get to used to it."

"I understand, Sir."

"Good.", he signed my application form and hand it to me.

"I... Pass?", I asked while looking on my application form.

"Yes. Ask Michelle to bring you in HR office, read and sign your contract. Make sure you had a copy of the contract and then the HR will orient you for the rules and regulations. After that Michelle will give you a briefing of your work. Then tomorrow you can start."

I just stunned on him, still can't believed that I really passed the interview. For real? I have a job now?

"Miss Miranda?"

Am I dreaming?

"Miss Miranda, are you okay?"

I blinked a couples of time when I heard someone's snapped.

"Sir?"

"You know Miss Miranda, first stop daydreaming if you want to stay here."

"S-sorry Sir."

"Second, stop calling me Sir. Everyone here calling me Boss."

"Okay Si--- I mean Boss."

"Good. And lastly...", he offered his hand to me. "Welcome to DS Construction Company, I am Derek Cole the President."

I accepted his offer. And the moment our hands touched a ticklish electricity flow on my hands through my whole body.

"Thank you... B-Boss."

I can't even take my eyes away from him. And there it goes again, a fast beat of my heart by just looking at him.

He slowly let go of my hand while still staring at me. And that's the time I realized I've been staring of him for a long time. I lower my head to avoid his stare and I saw the wedding ring in his finger.

"You're... married.", it should be just in my mind but I voice it out.

"Yes.", the sadness in his voice make me look at him again.

He's now looking in his ring, with sadness, sorrow, pain, guilt and love. All of his emotions are visible right now, his wife is so lucky to having someone like him. I dont want to feel it but there's an emotion building inside me, jealousy.

Blinked a couple of times for the sudden realization.

Blaire, what are you thinking? Jealousy? You're out of mind.

I shake my head to erase that idea. I can't be jealous. I don't have rights and why would I be jealous? He's in-love with his wife and that's normal.

"Miss Miranda?"

"Yes, Boss?"

"You're spacing out again."

"Sorry B-boss."

"You may go now."

"Okay Boss. Thanks again."

I felt a heavy thing in my chest when I stood up to leave.

I don't understand, I have a job now. I am must be happy but I can't.

And before I open the door he called me again.

"Miss Miranda! "

My body automatically response, I stop and face him with confusion. "Yes, Boss?"

He smile on me, a genuine smile. "I am looking forward to it."

"Huh?"

I am confuse now, looking forward to what? Did we talked about something? Like a... date?

"I am looking forward to work beside you for this coming five years.", there is an amusement on his eyes. "And... Maybe more than five years."

I smile on what he said, though I am little disappointed it's not about a date but his words are enough to lift the heavy thing in my chest. He wants me to be by his side for this coming five years and more than that.

"Sure Boss!", I happily answer and salute to him with smile. "See you tomorrow, Boss! "

I leave his office with a smile.

Alright, my job hunting is end now. I'm going to work for my hot, gorgeous and handsome Boss.

I chant his name voiceless. And for some reason, his name suit to my tounge.

Derek's POV

"Hubby, wake up now.", she said in soft voice while sniffing my neck.

"Wife, stop teasing me.", I said while still my eyes closed.

She chuckled and bit my earlobe, "You have to wake up, Hubby. You have a meeting and I prepared a breakfast for you."

I faced her, she kissed me and greeted me good morning. She's now above me while my arms is on her waist, supporting her so she won't fall.

"Good morning too, can I have you for my breakfast?"

"No, Mr. Cole. You have a meeting remember? And you can't be late."

"Oh d*mn that meeting."

"Don't say that. Come on, get up now. I already prepared the bath for you and your clothes. I'll wait for you in the kitchen."

I bite my lips while looking on her, she's wearing my shirt and pyjama which all big for her size but she's still look beautiful.

"Hubby, get up okay?", she said before leave the room.

I lazily get up, if it's not an important meeting I would like to stay here with my wife*. *Since I met Serene, I changed a lot. And I'm not complaining about it, actually I like the changes in me.

"I'll be back before dinner.", I said before I get in the car.

"Okay, what do you want for dinner?"

"Steak?"

"Noted, Hubby."

"And of course my Wife."

She pinched my nose and kissed it after, "Naughty. Just be sure you'll be back before dinner... I am all yours.", she smile seductively.

"Wife! You're seducing me."

She laughed loud, "Just kidding. You go now, drive safe okay? "

"Okay bye!", I kissed her lips.

In the company, as usual my father nagged to me again. As always.

"Derek, why you're just now?"

"I am not late, Dad."

"Bht we have to discuss something before the meeting."

"If it's about leaving Serene again, I am not interested."

"I am afraid you need to Derek. You need to go in France tomorrow evening."

"What for?"

"You need to accompany Pia..."

"Why me?"

"She wants you. And don't you dare to say NO. It's for our company, Pia's father is one of our best client. You just need to accompany her while choosing the materials she wanted for her house. And she said that she trust your taste in terms of choosing good materials."

"I can't leave my wife."

"It's just for a week. Can't your wife understand that its part of your job?"

I just clenched my hands, of course Serene will understand. She maybe the one who pushed me to leave but I don't trust Pia. I know that it's not just plain business.

"I'll talk to your wife.", Dad said.

"No need. I'll talk to her."

I don't want Dad to talked to my wife, Dad capable of hurting her with his words.

AT night, Serene helping me packing my things.

"Wife, if you don't want I won't go. Just say it.", I said to her.

She looked really sad. "It's part of your job, I don't want to be hindrance on you. And beside your Dad will get mad if you don't go."

"But its a f*cking long one week, Wife. I don't want to leave you alone here."

"I don't want you to go also... But I don't want your Dad to be mad at me more."

"If only I can bring you with me.", I hugged her from the back.

"You can't. I still have classes."

"I know. D*mn Wife, I don't really want to go."

"Just promise me, Hubby. You'll behave there."

"I promise."

"Call me if you have a free time."

"I will call you from time to time. Before go to sleep, before I get up the next day, before and after I eat and... "

"That's too much Hubby. Once or twice call is enough. You also need to rest. Don't forget to eat proper foods okay?"

"Yes, Wife."

"Take a medicine when you feel sick. You need to take care of yourself, don't make me too worried here."

"I will."

"After a week come back home immediately okay?"

"Of course."

I felt her body shaking and when I looked on her face she's crying already.

"Wife...don't cry."

"Sorry I can't help it... I know your Dad doing this to separate us."

"Just tell me I won't go."

"No. I'm fine, really. Maybe I am just not to used being away from you, this is the first we'll be separated for a long time since we got married."

"And this will be the last, I promise that."

She faced me and hugged me tightly.

I hugged her too, she's right after we got married this is the first time we'll be separated for a long time. I'll surely miss her.

We survive the first three days being away to each other. Although there are times I just want to go back especially when I saw her sad. But she assured me that she's alright.

But the next day, I can't contact her and what made me more irritated was Dad.

"I told you, look at those photos. You're just gone for a few days and your wife is dating someone else."

"Dad, please stop. Serene won't do that."

"How about those photos?! And you can't contact her now. She's maybe with her lover and who knows what are they doing right now. Such a flirt."

"Stop Dad! My wife has a name, don't you dare to call her in any insulting name again."

"How dare you Derek?! Just because of that girl you're talking at me like that?! "

"I respect you Dad. So please, respect my wife too.", I irritated said to him.

He angrily looked at me through video call in my laptop, "Can't believe you're crazy over that woman. Here are the proofs that she's having ang affair and yet you're still protecting her? You're moron! "

I clenched my hands, "Yeah, bye Dad. I need to call my wife.", then I ended the call immediately.

D*mn!

I brushed my hair using my hands when I can't still contact Serene. What's wrong with her? I don't believe on those photos, Serene won't do something like that.

I look once again the photos that Dad sent to me, its Serene and a guy (who I never saw before), the first picture was taken on school based on the background. The second, was taken while they are eating in a fast food and they looked happy while chatting. The third, was a taken while they are inside a mall. And in the last picture the guy's hand was on my wife's back supporting her while entering the elevator.

That's what make my blood boils more! How dare him to touched my wife? And why Serene is with him?

I called my secretary and asked to book me a ticket, I need to go back ASAP. I don't care anymore what will Dad say. My wife is more important than this d*mn business. I won't let anyone to take Serene. She's mine and just mine only.

The moment I arrived, I went to Serene's school immediately. It's afternoon and I know her classes finish now. But a green demon called jealousy eat me when I saw her chatting with that guy AGAIN.

"Serene.", I called her with a serious voice.

I was leaning on the taxi I rent, she look so surprise my seeing me.

"Derek!", she happily run towards me and hug me. "Wow, you're here! When did you arrived? Why you didn't tell me?"

"Get in the car. Now."

"Huh? Why?"

I glance at her, I saw her gulped when she saw how serious I am.

"O-okay."

I open the car for her and get in also after give the guy a deadly stare. I want to punch him but I don't want to make a scene, we're still in front of Serene's school.

We're both just silent on the way back to our house. I pulled her inside our room to have a privacy.

"Speak.", I said while opening the first three button of my long sleeve.

I felt suffocated due to madness. I open also the button of the sleeve and rolled it up to my elbow. I am looking at her.

"Ahm... w-welcome back..."

"That's not what I want to hear. Why you're with that guy? Is it true that she's your lover?!"

"D-Derek... No... Please don't be mad... "

"Tell me why you don't answering my calls? Why you're with him on the mall? Fastfood?"

Her eyes get big on surprise, "How did you know that?"

A pain pinch in ny heart, "So its true? Those photos are true?! You're having an affair? D*MN! I WILL KILL THAT MAN!", I angrily said.

"Derek, please calm down.", she caress my face using her soft hands.

"Believe me Wife, I am still calm down now. If not, I already killed that man, you're lover."

I can't believe I'll be this mad just because of jealousy. But I can't allow anyone to take my wife away from me. Never.

"Derek, Hubby please... I don't have a lover. He's not my lover. Calm down please, you're scaring me."

I took a deep breath and look on her again, this time i let her see how hurt I am., "You don't have? You don't leave me? "

"Of course not, I love you Derek remember? And your Dad sent to me Nathan to be my personal bodyguard. He said that I need him so you won't get worried about me anymore."

"My Dad? "

"Yup. I just accepted him because I don't want to be a burden to you."

"Why you didn't tell me? Do you know how mad I am when I saw those pictures? D*mn! I thought I'm gonna lose you, Wife.", I hugged her so tight.

"I'm sorry, Hubby. It's your Dad request. But I will tell you once you finish you're work there. Why you're here now? You still have two days... "

"As if I let a day past not talking to you after saw those photos and you're not answering my calls.", I said while starting to kiss her neck.

"I'm sorry. I lost my phone , Hubby. Nathan come with me yesterday in the.... mall to.... buy a new one and. .. Ahh.. Hubby... ", she tilted her head so I can have a better access on her neck while her hands on my hair.

"Wife... I was so scared.", I put her one hand on my chest near my heart. "Do you feel it? It beat so fast... I was scared to lose you Wife. Please tell me you're mine, make me calm down."

She caress my chest and look on me with full of love.

"I am only yours, Derek. Just yours. I love you."

"I love you too, Serene.", I said and kissed her.

I kissed her as if there is no tomorrow. And I am happy that she answered my kisses like she can't get enough of me. Our kisses end on a hot love making on our bed.

"Aahh... Derek...", Serene m*aned.

"Aahh... I love you Wife", I kissed her lips again while moving above her body faster and deeper until we reach our peak.

I lay beside her after, she hugged me and leaned her head on my chest, we're still both n*ked under the bed.

"You're calm down now?", she asked that made me chuckled.

"Yeah.", I answer while caressing her hair on the back.

A few minutes past before I speak again.

"I need to talk to Dad."

"Why?", she ask while playing the thin hair in my chest.

"What he did is too much. Sending some guy just to separate us."

"Hubby, it's okay. We're still together and he can't separate us."

"But Wife..."

"Let it slip, Hubby. Please?", she said while giving me a puppy eye.

"You.. Haay, fine. But this is the last. Once he did something like this again I'll confront him, okay?"

I caress her face, "I am really scared. That you'll leave me, that you'll find some one better than me."

"Hubby, I won't leave you. Never. And I won't found someone else because I'm not looking for it, for me you're the best. I don't need the better one."

"I love you and don't leave me please, Wife.", I begged her and kissed her wedding ring in her finger.

"Never Hubby. I love you so much. And even in my second life, third or fourth I will always love you. Promise."

I lazily open my eyes. "What?"

"I dream about Serene... again.", I answered while looking on the ring in my finger.

"Mimi! Mimi ! Is Daji awake?", we heard a cute little voice.

"Not yet Baby! ", Michelle answered and look at me again. "Get up now, you still have a work. I told you to not drink too much."

"I missed her so much.", I said in low voice.
