Princess's Sharp Witted Schemes

Chapter 1

"This is your last chance! Yu Daiyu, tell us why you stole the Divine Fang! If you don't start talking then, these will be the last words you'll ever be hearing!" One of the bandits said pointing his gun at her forehead.

Daiyu had a smirk on her face as she began to speak." Hehe... Stealing you say... You were the first one to steal the Divine Fang from us! I am just taking back what rightfully belongs to me." The Divine Fang was a sword made of the a giant crystal. It was a sharp sword which would fly through anything at all, no matter how soft or hard it was. This was actually an ancient blade that was in her family of Yu's.

Daiyu had only two living family members, her brother, Yu Dingxiang and her aunt, Yu Meihui. Yu Meihui, her aunt, was the leader of a criminal organisation which Daiyu and Dingxiang worked in. Dingxiang was five years older than Daiyu and had a wife, who also worked Meihui's organisation.

The Divine Fang had many secrets which no one but the Yu's knew. If anyone other than them knew it they would take the Divine Fang and use it for taking over the world. As far as the bandits knew, the sword was made of the most precious crystal. Daiyu, though was a criminal, couldn't think of a reason why only one person should rule the world. Every time she thought about that, she shuddered at how chaotic the world would be.

"DAIYU! Stop spacing out and tell us why you stole the Divine Fang!" A bandit yelled with lots of anxiety in her voice. It was a high pitched voice, so Daiyu came into conclusion that it was a woman. But, for some reason the voice was oddly familiar.

"There's no such thing as free lunch. You understand what I'm saying, don't you?"

Daiyu chuckled while talking.

"Also, you're asking the wrong questions. There's no point in asking why I took the Divine Fang from you." Daiyu said in a mocking tone. But it was true! They should've asked how to use the Divine Fang!

"Just answer our question!" The same girly voice cried. Daiyu just rolled her eyes for asking such ignorant questions. It's also so foolish because they said it would be her last chance to answer, but they still asked her the exact same question thrice!

Daiyu took this moment to answer "Ah, you are asking why I took my Divine Fang back? I took it back because it's mine? Why else would I take it back?" Daiyu scoffed. How bird-brained these people were!

Daiyu's hand slowly approached her gun which was dangling by a chain on her hips.

She quickly picked up the gun and shot down two of the five bandits. While she was making a run for it, she looks behind and saw the woman's face. Her eyes widened and she stopped in shock. The woman was her best friend Amy! Her blonde hair was almost glowing in the moonlight. Amy was the only one who knew Yu Daiyu was a criminal.... how could Amy betray her!

In such shock, she hugged the Divine Fang. Amy, with tears in her eyes, slowly lifted her gun "I'm sorry, Daiyu.... in our next life you can take your revenge..." The two other bandits looked at each other in confusion. Amy then reloaded the gun. Tears were streaming down her eyes as Amy pulled the trigger.

The last thing Daiyu saw before she perished was the Divine Fang and the bullet coming towards her.

Amy and the bandits saw Daiyu was dead. They went to pick up the Divine Fang, but as the picked it up, it started disappearing and turning into little glittering particles which flew up into the sky.

Chapter 2

"Hehe... So sad, Princess of the Lotus Mansion has died on her birthday..." A voice said mockingly. The voice sounded like the person must be far away. The atmosphere was so quiet that one could hear another from a mile.

"That little princess Luo Daiyu, she deserved to die, thinking she can marry the fourth prince on her birthday..." Another voice muttered, but it was clearly heard.

Both the voices laughed any continued walking.

Hmm... Daiyu.... That name sounds familiar...

Daiyu's eyes widened and she got up with a sudden jerk. Where is Amy?.. Where are those bandits?.. Wasn't she supposed to be dead?.. She rubbed her eyes to ensure she wasn't dreaming. She wasn't! She placed her hand behind her and felt something. It was the Divine Fang! It travelled all the way here with her!

Unexpectedly, her head felt an excruciating pain. One by one, memories which didn't belong to her flashed through her eyes almost like a movie. In those memories she had light blue hair, blue eyes and pale skin.

This is not how Yu Daiyu looked until she traveled here. Before she came to this unknown place, she had black hair, pale skin and black eyes.

To verify whether her ' memories ' were real she found a puddle and looked at her reflection. She looked exactly how her 'memories' pictured her to be. Her blood ran cold when she finally was able to comprehend what happened to her. The Daiyu that belonged to this body had died already. There was a switch in both the souls! That must've meant that there was a different Daiyu in her Yu Daiyu's body!

Luo Daiyu was known to be the most beautiful girl in the kingdom of Wangguo. She was also known to be a foolish and naïve person. Such a beauty was so stupid! Well now that Yu Daiyu was here in Luo Daiyu's body, she would clear all the rumours about Luo Daiyu.

Yu Daiyu was so fascinated by all this that was happening, she was oblivious about the wound on her stomach. Daiyu looked at herself in the puddle and saw red dripping into the puddle. She looked around and realized the red liquid must be from her. She then looked at her stomach.

Daiyu was standing in a garden but still, the wound looked like it was made by a large animal. Looking at the wound, her stomach started stinging. Though the pain was nothing compared to what she experienced in her original body, this was still terribly painful. She then came to a conclusion that this must've been the reason why Luo Daiyu met her end.

'For now, I have to tear my sleeves and tie it on my stomach' Daiyu thought while gripping on to her stomach to stop the blood flow. She ripped her sleeves off and tied it on her stomach. She recognised this garden because of Liu Daiyu's memories. She instantly remembered that her maternal grandparents' house was only a few miles from here. Daiyu finally decided she would go and stay there for the time being.

Chapter 3

Daiyu was now on her way to go to her grandparents' house. She struggled to walk as she was slowly losing energy. On the way, villagers were whispering among themselves while glancing at Daiyu. She figured they were talking about her by then.

As she reached her grandparents' house, her cousin, Wu Qiang greeted her at the door.

"Grandmother! Grandfather! Mother! The failure of our family is here!"

(I'm going to call Yu Daiyu, Luo Daiyu from now on)

'What a nice way of greeting your cousin' Daiyu thought sarcastically as she rolled her eyes. Was Wu Qiang blind? Couldn't she see that her cousin, Luo Daiyu was in desperate need of medical care? Or was it that she just didn't care?

Wu Qiang's mother, or Daiyu's aunt, came rushing out of the house. "Wu Qiang! Don't speak to your cousin like that! No matter how strong or weak she is, you should still respect her, she's your cousin!" Luo Daiyu's aunt scolded Wu Qiang. As she turned her head to talk to Luo Daiyu, her eyes widened and there was a loud gasp that came out of her mouth.

"Daiyu! What happened to you!? Why are you bleeding so much?! Father! Mother! Daiyu needs help!" She exclaimed.

Luo Daiyu began to feel weary as the pain grew severe. Her eyes slowly shut as she saw her grandmother rushing towards her.

"How do you feel?" A voice called out, as Luo Daiyu steadily opened her eyes.

"Who are you?" Luo Daiyu hissed, still in pain. The man snickered playfully as he continued "Oh my dear cousin, how do you not remember me?"

Luo Daiyu looked at the man. The man had jet black hair and his green eyes twinkled, almost like a star. He was very handsome too! He looked nothing like the Wu family. The Wu family all had brown hair, except her mother and her, and now this man! Her mother looked different because she was born with Poliosis, a condition where hair lacks pigment and hence, turns white. Luo Daiyu had inherited her mother's genes and but still inherited some blue pigment from her father's genes.

Luo Daiyu looked into her memories to check whether this man was someone she knew. Luo Daiyu observed the man very closely. He was an orphan until he was adopted by her aunt. He was Wu Qiang's adopted brother, Wu Qingsheng.

In Luo Daiyu's memories, he always seemed to treat Luo Daiyu well. He was very different from Wu Qiang. Wu Qiang would make fun of her while, Wu Qingsheng treated her like a sister, at least that's how she felt.

This world was different from the world which she lived in. Though, it had human beings, it had many different features. The human beings were supposed to be good at martial arts and be able to develop distinctive powers based on the five elements (Metal, Wind, Fire, Water and Earth) by the age of thirteen. Sometimes, it would be different. Some people who weren't so gifted and would be either, able to do martial arts or develop special powers. Some people who weren't gifted at all, like how Luo Daiyu was, would be called failures.

[The rankings from strongest to weakest:

1. Specialises in both, martial arts and special powers

2. Specialises in distinctive powers

3. specialises in martial arts

4. Failures]
